“Pay attention, there will be a quiz at the end of this week.”

Seeun watched with a small smile as you squished down into your chair in defeat and embarrassment, fighting back a chuckle as his eyes softened on your head now pressed to the desk beneath you.

What finally took his gaze away from you was the head of a blondie with a shit-eating grin plastered on his face sliding into Seeun's field of vision. His smile dropped as he stared at Yujun's exaggerated look of excitement, Seeun's eyes practically yelling the words “Shut the fuck up” at him.

“You-” Yujun's loudly whispered tone was instantly cut off by a playful smack in the back of the head from Seeun's large hand.

“Face the front.” He muttered sternly, to which Yujun complied, still without losing the grin on his face and a slight chuckle coming up from his throat that he tried to hold in.

Seeun sighed, eyes unconsciously drifting back to your slouched figure once again. He thought for a moment before rummaging through his bag for a piece of paper and a pen, ripping paper from his notebook and finding a slightly suspicious pen buried deep in the bottom of his bag. He hurriedly scribbled a few words onto the paper before scrunching it into a ball and, with a flick of his wrist, sending it flying and bouncing off the back of your head. He pumped his fist, thankful for his basketball skills in that moment.

He watched carefully as you pried your head from the desk and fished the paper ball up from the floor. He eyed you as your expression scrunched after reading the note, head snapping up to meet his gaze forcing him to choke back a laugh. A smirk crept across his face as you glared back at him and tore the note in half.

“It's like watching a pomeranian attempt to be threatening.” He thought, only smiling wider at your reaction before making dramatic gestures in an attempt to be hurt, his hand clutching his heart. That didn't last as he burst into a giggle that he muffled with his hand, trying not to draw attention to himself in the quiet classroom.

He loved teasing, he always had, but something about this made his heart feel different from usual. It was a warm feeling, a full feeling. It felt…right. 

After regaining his composure, his eyes drifted to you once again, going slightly wider as he caught sight of you giggling into your hand, eyes shut tightly, cheeks pinker than usual, eyebrows slightly upturned. He felt an undeniable pang in his chest, different from the previous ones that he could've brushed off. This one ripples through his body, making the hairs on the back of his neck stand on end and making one of his hands clench into a fist.

It was as if time had come to a halt with his eyes unmoving from your face, like all the sounds in the room were drowned out by the not-so-slow beat of his own heart. When time finally started moving again, you were staring back at him as he admired you, eyes softly locked onto your features despite the distance between the two of you. His fist clenched harder as you grew noticeably flustered, his mind beginning to race with random thoughts and questions, none of which stayed long enough for him to pinpoint exactly what he felt and why, except for one.

That thought stuck to his brain even despite the second small jump his heart did seeing you suddenly turn away from him. He sighed, still somehow unable to look away even though all he had a view of was the back of your head. That was until Yujun's head came into view again, smile wider than ever before and Seeun knew it was pointless trying to ignore him.

“What.” He whispered, annoyance clear in his voice.

“You like her~” He quietly teased, drawing out the word “like” with a roll of his tongue.

“Shut up, I'm just being friendly,” he quickly parried, “I barely know her.”

“Sure~ Very friendly of you to stare at the back of her head with hearts in your eyes when she's not even looking.”

Seeun's ears flushed with heat.

Yujun's devious smile grew, clearly noticing the redness in his ears.

“Wow, I think this is the first time I've seen you have a crush on someone.” 

“I-!” He started loudly, quickly quieting down while cautiously looking around to see if anyone noticed.

Yujun’s face could only be described by the words “sarcastic” and “smug” as he wiggled his eyebrows at Seeun. Seeun clenched his fist again, this time in embarrassment. He felt a heat creeping up his cheeks but was soon ‘saved by the bell’...literally. Students started shuffling their belongings together as the school bell blared, including Seeun and his friends. Yechan and Yujun chatted loudly as Hunter forced him through the door with a hand planted on his back, all while he had to make an active effort to keep from looking at you again and avoid more child-like teasing from the blonde ‘self-proclaimed matchmaker’ he called a best friend.

Luckily, or unluckily, he couldn't quite decide, Seeun didn't have any more classes with you that day. After the final bell rang, he quickly met up with the other three again, with the addition of Junghoon following quietly behind them. They hurried down the hall as a pack, just like usual, making their way to the gym for practice. The only unusual thing being that Seeun couldn't get you out of his head to the point that it was driving him insane. He told himself you'd come to watch them practise anyway, he knew you would, but a single thought of doubt crossed his mind. “What if she doesn't come anymore because of what happened yesterday…”

Suddenly he found himself urging the others to go on without him, rambling out a flimsy excuse that he left something behind in the classroom before rushing back down the hall at a pace that definitely broke the rules.

After peeking into almost every classroom on that floor and convincing himself you must've gone home already, he finally hit gold, poking his head sneakily into a doorway and his eyes landing directly onto your zoned out face packing up your things in an empty room. He smiled and retreated, not wanting you to look up and see him staring. He ran his hand through his hair, thinking for a moment. He knew he could easily go up to you and say hi, well aware of his own conversation making abilities, but he also knew that wasn't his style. The smirk on his face grew as he concocted a plan and stood flush against the wall, silently waiting for you to exit the classroom.

▸ 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘺?

Mal and Ben’s dynamic has been pretty cute over the first two movies. The constant “I can’t do it” , “Yes you can, I'm right here with you.” personally warms my heart to see the level of assurance and comfort that takes place between the two characters.

If Minjae fitted into Mal’s character, he would definitely need a bit (a lot) of reassurance, and that's okay! He could be stressed out about producing or school, and your kind words would make the time go by a little faster. One thing I noticed is that Mal is trying to live up to her parents' expectations, so I could see the same with Minjae and his parents. Maybe they wanted him to go the typical doctor route, but he knows deep down that he loves producing. Being there with him and helping along the way, showing, telling him that he is his own person and that he should find his own light will definitely make him shed a tear. Of joy, of course.

If Hunter fitted into Ben's character, I can definitely see all the sweet gestures and words he would give you. Sure, you may have argued the previous day, but Hunter would do everything in his power to break the ice, and talk to you about it – resolve the situation. The amount of pet names he would give you would make your head spin because he truly wants you to know how special you are and how much you mean to him. He definitely is your prince charming.

Evie and Doug over the first two movies have been super cute, but not that much action should I say? Compared to Mal and Ben, their storyline hasn't been as clear. One minute they're sharing glances, then the next minute they're talking as friends/classmates? I think Disney could have done a better job at connecting everything (this is based off of the first two movies btw) but, this is obviously love at first sight, and he fell first, yet she fell harder 🤭

If Junmin fitted into Doug's character, I could definitely see him play the more nerdy role. Junmin knows a few things and despite the stereotypes given to Evie (or to you), he'd be more than willing to help you out.. study together.. indirectly asking for your number/a date. This is so junmin. He would be a little shy at first because of his newfound feelings, but once you get closer and he gets to know you more, he'd be a little flirty, touchy, smiley.. are you picking up what I'm putting down?

If Hyunwoo fitted into Evie's character, I feel like hyunwoo would have this desire to kind of fit in, but through Doug (or you again), he would learn to be more of himself. I don't really know what I'm saying for this one, but hyunwoo would feel more like himself whenever he's with you. He'd be a little oblivious to your liking towards him, but once you start talking more and befriend each other, he'd kind of get slapped with that feeling, and fall even harder than before. 

Again, Disney didn't really do a good job connecting everything when it comes to Jay and Lonnie. There were some things that didn't make as much sense.. but I'm still going to write about them 🫡 In the second movie, Lonnie says wordlessly that girls can do the same things as boys, and in the few scenes, they showcase how astonish yet proud Jay is to see her go. In the end, Jay gives away his captain role so Lonnie could still play with them, without breaking the rules.

If sumin fitted into Jay's character, which I can definitely see btw, he’d almost be like a frat boy; insanely good looks and he’s good at sports too?? The girls are drooling over him. And sumin acknowledges that, yet he doesn't decide to hook up with a random girl (he prob did but this is a kids movie for god's sake) because he shows respect to them. He’d, again, be shocked to see a girl that’s so courageous like you, and that would give his heart a little ping. Who knows, he might even invite you to the school dance ;)

If Junghoon fitted into Lonnie’s character, I think he would fall for someone who allows him to be himself (?) Like since Lonnie issn’t the traditional girl and Jay didn’t try to do anything to interfere with that, you know? He thinks to himself, “wow.. I’m able to be my complete self around her,” and he’d definitely showcase that in your presence. And if you return the energy? He’s jumping off the walls on the inside, but giving a small smile to hide his happiness. 

I remember watching Descendants 2 when I was little and grinning whenever Jane and Carlos came on the screen. Their love life is honestly what I daydream about, and I’m not jealous obviously. Carlos spends his time on the movie pining for Jane, but is too nervous to tell her about it. He does confess to Jane, but it’s through this ramble confession that makes my heart flutter :((

If jinsik fitted into Jane’s character, he’d be a little (very) oblivious to your feelings. Like you want to go out for coffee because you like being around him? He’d think it's some kind of compliment or maybe because you want to get some homework done or something. So he does accidentally put you into the friend zone which you desperately want to escape, but he probably  won’t realize his feelings unless you confess to him and basically put him on the spot. Because this feeling is so sudden, he would want to start everything slow, just so he can adjust to it all. 

If yechan fitted into Carlos’s character, which I can definitely see btw pt. 2, he would use his more silly and whimsical side to get your attention, and to get some laughter bubbling out of you. When he starts to get all fuzzy while hearing your laughter, he knows he’s fallen deep, and things start to get a little awkward. Maybe that’s why you accidentally friend zone him? But just know that he’s been practicing his confession on his friends (they all hate it), and he feels prepared.. He just needs to find the right moment ;) pt. 2

For the third time, Disney doesn’t do a good job at explaining Uma and Harry’s ship, so this is all based on something I found on the internet. Uma and Harry’s dynamic is more like teasing your best friend, but knowing that they will always have your back and vice versa. They also have more perks, like giving away something that means a lot to them to the other. (*cough cough* Harry giving uma his hook) They are very silly around each other but know when to get serious!

If seeun fitted into Harry’s character, he’d definitely be your personal trickster, only giving you sly smiles whenever he gets caught. You also have lots of childhood memories that you both adore, sometimes spending your shared time giggling under your pillow fort together. Not only that, but seeun is also your personal bodyguard. You don’t like how someone looks at you? He’d do everything in his power to separate the both of you, and if the person gets mad, he is there to take any hits. He is very loyal to his bestie. Heck, he’d even take your side when he knows that you’re in the wrong.

If yujun fitted into Uma’s character, he would be a little more assertive through your teachings, and loyal as a dog to you. You were most likely childhood besties, so you’d always have a special place in his heart. If you were to give him something that meant a lot to you, he’d honestly get a little teary eyed, because it shows that he means a lot to you too :(( You are definitely his comfort place, and he’d do everything in his power to protect the one he loves.

︴bonus! i loved this idea saur much! You know, despite disney making cringe movies, they actually have very good morals built into them. Like girls can do the same as boy, and you don't always have to follow your parents strict expections; it made me smile to that. Also, funny story, I was taking notes while watching the films and then I come back the next day to find the notes gone?! Turns out it was saved to a different file which is weird.. anyways please request for more fun headcanons!

"Hey! Why aren't you paying attention?" Seeun snaps his fingers in front of your zoned out face, a pout on his face as you blink away your daydreams. "Maybe she doesnt want to hear your rant." Says hunter who was scrolling on his phone unbothered, licking off some ketchup from his finger before resting his chin on it.

"Hunt-"

"Sorry, I'm just super sleepy." You cut off the boys that were just about to start their weekly fusses, a yawn leaving your lips as you rub your eyes, laying your arm on the lunch table before resting your forehead against it.

Seeun and hunter share a worried glance at you then each other, before deciding to keep quiet so they dont accidentally annoy you or something. Being sleepy was true.. but it wasnt the full truth. You werent daydreaming about climbing into your bed and clocking out for the day, you were daydreaming about a certain someone.

Seeun.

It was just so.. weird finding seeun anything other than annoying, your heart skipping beats whenever you catch him looking at you. Why was this the case? You werent sure, too overwhelmed with your feelings to pinpoint an exact answer. Seeun wasnt doing anything different. He was just his regular 'ol seeun self, being at the top of the class while also the class clown, finding new opportunities to make you and hunter laugh.

Yet now it feels like butterflies swarm your stomach whenever you crack a smile at seeuns behavior, hiding your face in your hands to cover your blush. It didn't help that seeun is touchy too, carefully prying your hands away to return the smile, your faces inches away from each other and it feels like your heart was going to explode.

It also didn't help you were starting to dream about the boy, shooting up every night to wipe the sweat from your brows when he was seconds away from kissing you.

In your dreams of course.

You could never imagine actually kissing seeun in real life, the nerves getting the best of you, plus, seeun didnt even like you. You were sure of it. He only saw you as a friend as he did with everyone else. Theres no need to be so delusional.

Until you hear a voice calling your name. And a warm hand attached to your hair, rubbing your scalp. You didnt know what was going on but you enjoyed it, a satisfied hum leaving your lips as you lean into the touch.

"Hey!" You hear that same voice again, a familiar voice. "Wake up, pleasee," you could hear the pout in the voice, and suddenly youre yanked from your precious sleep, lifting your head up to find your friends staring at you.

"Sorry, sorry. Wait- I fell asleep?" You ask confusedly. You dont even remember closing your eyes, let alone snoring. "Are you sure you're okay?" A concerned hunter asks, and although seeun doesnt say anything you can see the concern in his eyes.

When he was so caring, he was so cute, following you like a lost puppy just to make sure you were mentally and physically stable. It was adorable. "Why are you staring? Is there something on my face?" Seeun snaps you out of your thoughts, touching his face in confusion as you realize you were indeed staring.

"Huh? Oh nothing.. its nothing." You avoid his gaze, looking to your side to hide your red cheeks. While it might have worked on seeun, hunter could read you like a book, a smirk quipped onto his face as he watches you clueless idiots. He knew you two would like each other. If not then, it was definitely now.

He stretches his arms as the bell rings, signaling lunch and break time was over. His eyes follow your figure, watching as you hurriedly pack your things before bolting out of the door. But he was already a step in front of you. Patting your shoulder, he slows you down, his next words making your mind spin. "Just, you know, tell him."

Hunter says those five words so casually, like this wasnt some big deal, like he wasnt aware of how you affected you were before walking off, adjusting his straps like it was such an easy thing to do. You despised him, affectionly.

"Wait up!" Seeun runs after you, snapping you out of your thoughts once again. "You know, I've never seen you think before." He hurriedly moves away from your flying hand as you try to hit him, before comfortably walking beside you like a few seconds prior. "Serious, what's wrong? I've never seen you like this." He pouts again, his voice softening and you just want to jump off a cliff at how fast your heart was beating.

"Seeun, its nothi-"

"I know you." He cuts you off, grabbing your hands and looking deep into your eyes. "I know when somethings on your mind."

You open your mouth to say something, but it seemed like the words just evaporated. Seeun shakes his head, before affectionly rubbing his fingers on your palm. "If you cant say it, do it."

"What?"

"You heard me. Do it." You've never seen seeun so serious, his eyes boring into yours before you look away, nervous about the eye contact. But what you wanted to do.. could ruin your friendship. "Please.." he breaks you from your second guesses, his voice strained with desperation. So much desperation you decide to do it, ignoring the consequences.

And without stopping to think you actually do it, getting on your tippy toes to give the frozen boy a peck on the cheek. It was something small, but it felt like you were set on fire. Your hands were still connected so you look down at him, anxiously waiting for his repsonse as you chew on your bottom lip out of fear.

Did you actually ruin everything? A few seconds pass by and still nothing, your eyes stinging as you let go of his hands, about to book it to your next class and cry your eyes out. But you feel something tug at your wrist before youre slammed against the wall, seeun intertwining your hands before placing it above your head, leaning his own to lay his lips onto yours.

Your eyes widen and youre glad youre holding hands because you feel your knees getting weak, but after relaxing under his soft touch he wraps your hands around his neck, his own resting on your waist. You stay like that for a while, enjoying your presences while slowly deepening the kiss. It breaks after a couple seconds because of your shared smiles, your eyes fluttering open to stare at the other in content.

"eHEM. We still have class people," hunter comes out of his hiding spot, scaring the both of you. "R-right." Seeun clears his throat before walking behind hunter, his hands slowly interwining with yours as he gives you a lovesick smile. "We'll talk about this later, okay?" He whispers to you, his eyes lighting up as you nod.

"Okay." You reply before blushing furiously when seeun presses a kiss to your forehead.

I have done this shit a million times before, writing letters for people for their birthdays, but I have never been this scared! And trust me I wrote it to the grumpy of our group and still didn’t get so tense. But now, writing this to you makes my hands clam and my mind swoon at the same time. What have you done to me Lee Yechan?

And I was so stupid, the night of the dance when you were so close to kissing me, I panicked. I coughed (I am such a great actor, can you see me rolling my eyes at myself?) and got up instead of facing you. But god be damned to hell Lee I wanted to kiss you so bad. Kept thinking about how having your full lips on mine would feel, would you be as sweet as I imagined? Now, don’t get cocky, yes fine, I have imagined us kissing.

Because that night when I saw my childhood friend on the dance floor with Kath after I indirectly rejected you I swear I had never been more jealous in my life. And I know it is so self-centred of me to be like this, but I do not want to give you wrong ideas. You can burn this letter after you read it but I will be regretting if I don’t finish this.

For the whole eighteen years of my life, I had thought my ideal type was someone calm like Hunter who can maintain my crazy and calm me down, with sweet smiles and flowers. You loved snuggling up with your boyfriend, your limbs basically connected as you basically shared the same breath. And he loved to wrap his arms around your waist, his head resting on yours as your head rests on his chest, listening to his quicken heartbeat. When you tease him, he'd let out a series of whine, and you could feel your heart melting. He was so cuteee. But sometimes he was too cute that you didnt know what to do. So you decided to bite junmin. "Yahh what was that for?!"

Holding hands

It was a small habit of his, his hands ghosting over yours before finally lacing your hands together. Sometimes sumin would lift up your intertwined hands to place a soft kiss on your knuckles, other times he would simply play around with them, fidgeting with your hands as one of his friends were talking. If you were alone, he likes to twirl you around, his hand remaining on yours as his other hand comes to your waist, swaying you back and forth. If you were in public, he likes to play around with your rings. And if you ever call his hands small, he would always burst out into a fit of giggles, squeezing your hand a little tighter.

"Why hello there.." jinsik blushes at the sudden eye contact. You were staring at him — not that you realized at first. A movie was playing yet you couldnt focus, hyunwoo's smile catching your eye. He was laughing at the screen, his eyes forming into cresents as you felt yourself smiling too. So you laced your hands with his, resting your head on his shoulder. He was a little taken back but that didnt stop him from wrapping his arm around your waist, his head resting on yours. "Isn't this so funny, babe?"

Laying on their stomach

The silence was comfortable as you leaned back against the bed frame, your hand scrolling through your phone when the door opens. Junghoon doesn't say much, crawling right beside you as he curiously peeks at the device. The soft peck on his cheek encourages him to crawl between your legs, laying his head on your stomach. Yet he didnt fully grab your attention. So junghoon frees your hand from your phone, placing it on top of his head. And you finally give him the attention he wanted, carding your hands through his hair as you lay another kiss on his forehead, his eyes closing shut as he drifts off to sleep.

Late night talking

It was three in the morning, any normal person would be fast asleep but not for you; you were busying talking. "And then i said.." seeun glances up as he retells his day, the second time in 2 hours but you didnt mind.
