Kouta Hasegawa

peppermint tea; what do they get excited about?

Admittedly, Kouta gets excited over the littlest things. It could be from a simple peck on the cheek, a greeting his s/o may give him from time-to-time, or it could be because of that great two-for-one deal on yakisoba at the local convenience store. Whatever it was, Kouta's eyes light up, stars evident in his irises, and there's definitely a wide smile on his face, something that came involuntarily.

But what excites him the most, however, is honestly any form of physical affection. It may seem a bit cliché perhaps, but Kouta himself wasn't quite used to physical affection, especially not the rather endearing type such as sweet kisses on the lips or holding hands while strolling down the city street. The way his s/o's hand felt against his, the warmth they emanated when cuddled up against him, breath light as they fell into a short nap against his chest; it was pretty obvious the way he flushed a bright red or how his heart skipped a beat. Yet, it felt so good, and whenever the Kouta felt your hand in his, how perfectly they fit together, he couldn't help the way he got all excited. It felt so warm and inviting, so loving. And for someone that was often touch-starved and shy and perhaps not too sure of himself, it excited Kouta to no end whenever he was on the recipient of such affection. The skipping of his heart beat and the flushing of his face, while perhaps embarrassing, also felt rather good and exciting in a way.

Yuu Mizuno

Yuu seemed to be a pretty simple-minded fellow at times, where seemingly everything excited him. It was difficult to tell whether that smile he always had on or the energy he had in excess was a result of his excitement or just how he was. To everyone, it seemed that anything could excite Yuu, who was admittedly over-the-top at times, especially when it came to reactions. You could give him your leftover untouched lunch, saying how you're already quite full or simply wanted to share, and Yuu would get excited and happily accept it from you.

Really though, what he gets particularly excited at compliments or, more simply put, validation. Yuu usually was the one had to bear all the responsibilities and chores back home, whether it was buying groceries to doing laundry to looking out for his little sister. And, usually, he felt as if his efforts went unnoticed, especially considering the fact that his relationship with his sister was a bit rocky as of late. It was all too tiring. So whenever Yuu received compliments from his friends or family or s/o, whenever he felt like he was being recognized for something, even if it was as small and meager as how well-groomed his uniform and hair looked that day. Yuu did so much for those he loved, and often, he felt as if they went unnoticed as well. So when he's being repaid, when he's taken care of for a change, such as his s/o commenting on how much of a good brother he was or how cute he looked today, Yuu, of course, got all excited and couldn't calm his racing heart. It felt so good to be validated! To have all his doubts quelled!! Ahh, he got so happy and simply couldn't stay put anymore, clinging himself on to you and secretly wanting to hear more compliments. He'd even repeat the things that visibly made you or his friends happy since that, to him, was one of the greatest things. For instance, if you were to compliment him on a certain dish, telling him how divine it was, well, he's going to start making that dish a lot more. A lot more. Really, Yuu just wanted to hear from others that he was doing an alright job.

Seiichiro Minamoto

Seiichiro, in short, didn't have many things that made him too excited. Aside from cinnamoroll, which was partically a given, there weren't many things he could indulge in given his busy, busy schedule. I mean, Seiichiro woke up early, had to get ready for school, get there way before the first bell rung in order to look over yesterday's requests from the students, as well as tidy up everything and get ready for class, not to mention finishing up any remaining homework. And that was only the morning schedule.

So he doesn't have much time to do things that do get him excited or hobbies he enjoys, but even then, Seiichiro gets most excited over small things that are quite meaningful to him. For instance, hitting bullseye in his archery competition up against the other school, when all eyes were on him and his focus was waning. That was the best feeling, and that adrenaline boost he got surely made him get all excited, given by that small triumphant smirk he did and tiny fist bump, which was perhaps somewhat out of character for him but definitely showed his excitement. And if his s/o showed up, cheering him on from the sidelines, then Seiichiro only got even more excited knowing that you had come to see him. That congratulations kiss afterwards surely did get his heart racing as well. It certainly did make him happy, and he was only even more determined to win again next time. Seiichiro also usually got excited whenever he was out with friends or his s/o. They usually had him try something new, whether it was a new restaurant or a place he'd never been to before. It may have been small and inconsequential for many, but it was always exciting for Seiichiro, who never knew where they were going or what they were going to do. It was always some type of adventure with them.

lemon tea; what are mornings like with them?

Mornings with Kouta were rather normal and somewhat slow and quiet. He tended to be an early bird, waking up at a decent time and getting ready quickly. It wasn't that Kouta liked to get up early; rather, it was just what his internal clock was set to. And if you were someone that liked to sleep in until much later, well, it'd throw off Kouta a bit since he never did like to get up without you. Your warm embrace was simply too warm and inviting for him to leave it, especially in the cold winter mornings where he'd surely start shivering if he left the comfort of the bed.

Early morning cuddling sessions were quite common, and Kouta thought that it was a great start to his day, even if he did have to stay in bed longer. You looked so adorable still half-asleep, mumbling incoherent words and snuggling in closer to him, not wanting him to leave just yet. And Kouta adored every minute of it, as red as he got. Those five more minutes then turned to thirty and so on and so forth, and you guys wouldn't leave bed until late morning given how neither one of you wanted to leave the bed or the other's embrace.

milk tea; what are their kisses like?

Kouta always gets quite nervous and anxious each and every time either you or him leans in for a kiss, and it shows through in his kisses. He's always slightly tense at first, which you can tell, so the kiss may be a bit sloppy or a little rough at first since his mind is elsewhere, trying his best to calm himself. The mere thought of the two of you being so close and intimate, even if it was a short and sweet forehead or cheek kiss, made him short-circuit, always so shy at the slightest touch. It wasn't something he was used to. When you kiss back though, he instantly relaxes, and the kiss turns into something much sweeter and tender. In a way, it's quite the innocent kiss, just a simple romantic kiss on the lips. And if it was a deeper kiss (still just as sweet), then Kouta loved to take his hand and cup your cheek with it, an action that left a rather electrifying sensation on your skin, one that only made your senses that much more sensitive to every little thing. It still felt so good though.

Yuu Mizuno

lemon tea; what are mornings like with them?

Yuu, while very much capable of staying in bed until noon when given the chance, was still an early bird in a way. He usually got up early in order to take care of things while his parents are gone and to get a headstart on chores, as much as it pains him to get up at the crack of dawn. He's still rather tired and quite sleepy. So even when the two of you were sleeping together on the same bed, huddled in close (Yuu loved to be the big spoon despite your height and simply sleep with your back against his chest, his arms loosely wrapped around your waist), he'd still get up early, though he'd leave you sleeping for a little bit more. If you whine and tug on his sleeve, wanting him to stay for just a bit longer, Yuu would simply giggle at how cute you were but comply nonetheless. He himself was still rather sleepy, so he'd lay in bed with you for a few more minutes, before getting up for good. This was a cycle that repeated almost every day, though Yuu would sleep in later on the weekends, and this time around, you wouldn't be able to escape his tight grip on you (if you wanted to get up early, tough luck then. Yuu rarely got the chance to sleep in, especially with you in his arms).

Yuu is usually the one that makes breakfast since he gets up before you, always trying out new recipes or making foods that you wouldn't have time to eat if you were in a rush. But that's the thing: Yuu loved to spend time with you in the morning before you guys had to go out and do your work for the day. Eating breakfast with you and seeing your delighted face at how good everything tasted was one of his favorite parts of the day. So you can definitely expect to be woken up early by Yuu, who'd want you to get a headstart on your day and so that you guys can enjoy a nice, full breakfast together.

milk tea; what are their kisses like?

Yuu's kisses can best be described as lingering. Each time, whether it be an intimate kiss on the lips or a quick peck on the cheeks, there was always a sort of sensation left behind, as if you could still feel his lips on you even after the fact. He may be goofy at times, and Yuu definitely does love teasing you in his kisses by kissing you everywhere - the cheeks, forehead, corner of your lips, nose, etc. - before wiping your pout by finally capturing your lips in the most tender of kisses. They somehow managed to fluster you each time, despite being used to his antics, more so when Yuu pulled back and grinned in a cheshire-like way, finding much amusement in teasing you. But his kisses are also rather fluttery in a sense, in that Yuu, at times, loved to cover you in nothing but short yet consecutive kisses, especially when you guys were alone and in a playful mood. And even then, his kisses left you feeling flushed, the warmth rushing to your face just from how sweet they were.

Seiichiro Minamoto

Seiichiro is most definitely the type to get up super early in the morning, perhaps even at the brink of dawn. And since he believed the infamous quote, "the early bird gets the worm," you can certainly expect him to wake you up early as well, despite your pleas. He simply believed it'd be much better for you if you did have a healthy sleep schedule (Seiichiro would also encourage you to go to bed earlier despite the fact he doesn't do so) since Seiichiro did care a lot for you. He simply wanted to try and be the best partner for you imagineable by showing how much he cared for your wellbeing. If you were rather tired, however, not able to sleep well from the previous night, then Seiichiro would leave you be and get ready himself before waking you. He did want you to get adequate rest as well.

But when he does wake you up, Seiichiro won't relent if you try your best to ignore him, begging for just five more minutes or pulling the covers over your head. He'd simply stand there and in a stern voice would tell you to get up until, finally, you did. At times, however, especially on the weekends, you'd successfully drag him back into bed if he ever tried to get up before ten, telling him that he deserved to rest as well and that you missed his warmth. Even if Seiichiro tried to protest, he gave in and went back to bed, as wrong as it felt to sleep in. Well, your warmth and proximity made it more than worth it.

milk tea; what are their kisses like?

His kisses are always so gentle yet intimate. They had an intensity in their own way despite how soft they were as he was able to communicate his love and feelings for you quite effectively. He never did want to accidentally hurt you by being too rough or going too fast, and besides, Seiichiro did prefer slow kisses. He'd much rather take in the entire atmosphere and detail of the moment, from how dimmed the lights were to how your slightly chapped lips felt against his own. And as such, Seiichiro's kisses were also rather slow, wanting to savor everything about it. So, in a way, they were certainly sensual as well, and when you guys pulled back, your lips felt much too sensitive and slightly ticklish, unable to rid of the sensation of Seiichiro's lips on yours. It felt too good, even if it was simple as a peck to the forehead. He always did have such a special touch, one that left you craving for it more. The kisses, most of the time, were shallow im a physical sense, Seiichiro not wanting to deepen it and preferring soft, sweet ones the most. But no matter what, his kisses left your heart feeling such a throbbing and fluttering sensation, having felt it skip a beat or even beating much harder than before. They were something that you couldn't forget.

he would admit that he was a bit hesitant on going up to you when the two of you first met since you seemed like you wanted to be left alone

he really didn’t want to bother you so he often kept his distance

when the two of you were paired up for a group project, however, kouta would begin to realize that you simply didn’t like being around others that much and that he had misjudged you

so the two of you would start to grow close, even if it was slow at first, and one thing led to another and the two of you eventually developed feelings for one another and confessed

i feel like kouta would be quite surprised at first when he saw just how sweet you were when the two of you began dating. it wasn’t in a bad way, however. kouta was simply used to your cold nature that you often exhibited around everyone else

seeing how quick you were to break out into a smile and skip by his side whenever you saw him gave kouta and the others around you a bit of whiplash

he did understand where you were coming from though. kouta himself was pretty shy and introverted and didn’t talk with others much, so he definitely understood why you wouldn’t necessarily want to be around others

he figured that you may have been shy or didn’t like to open up to merely anyone; however, it often came off as you being cold and distant from others

there was also something about the fact that you were only sweet and showed affection to him that made his heart race. call him selfish but kouta adored the fact that he was the only one that got to see your true side

not only did it make him feel loved, but kouta was sure he fell in love with you even more

if you ever wanted to simply hang out with him alone, kouta would have no problem doing so. anytime you called for him, he’d excuse himself from his group of friends and go check on you

besides, kouta loved it when the two of you were alone. it helped the two of you open up to one another as well as bond over silly little things

he was quite popular at school and made friends with practically everyone, so word got to him quickly that you were someone that hated interacting with others

he’d usually keep to himself in such situations and not bother the other person since that was clearly what they wanted, but this time was different

yuu was instantly captivated by you and wanted to try and get closer, even if you did push him away at times. it was a challenge that he was up for

(also, he once saw you carrying a my melody keychain on your keys and he was pumped to find another fan)

so day after day, yuu would attempt to get close to you, despite your many attempts to shrug him off. he was too persistent

however, the two of you soon began to develop feelings for one another due to the fact that you’ve spent so much time together (all thanks to yuu)

when you first show affection and act all sweet towards him, yuu’s first instinct is to tease you, although he’s very much happy with the fact that his efforts paid off

although he tries to tease you, you can’t help but notice just how flustered he seems to be

has no shame in admitting that he absolutely adores the fact that you only ever are sweet to him. yuu couldn’t help but want to keep you all to himself, especially with how cute you were

as such, he often finds himself ditching groups and others in order to spend much more time with you, though you don’t mind at all

yuu couldn’t get enough of your affection and always craved more (i do think that he is a bit touch starved at times and yearns for comfort)

doesn’t mind the fact that you’re not that fond of others. that simply means that the two of you get more alone time together, and yuu wasn’t complaining about that at all

since he is popular, others may try to dissuade him from dating you. i mean, here was yuu, the kind and caring guy that absolutely everyone at the school loved. on the other hand, there was you, a cold and distant person that no one would approach

ofc, yuu would always get angry at such remarks and defend you, saying how there was much more to you. no one expected him to lose his cool that easily, but when it came to you, his s/o, yuu was defensive

after that, everyone begins to notice how he’s hanging out with you in public much more frequently and how clingy he seemed to be

yuu wanted everyone to know that you were the perfect match for him

shunsuke himself is pretty cold towards others, or at least, that’s what the rumors say. in reality, he simply doesn’t see a need to show his emotions that often

so he totally understands where you’re coming from and doesn’t see anything unusual about it when he first meets you

since the two of you had quite a bit in common, you began to hang out much more often, even if it was doing work or reading a book in silence. it felt nice to have one another’s company

when you both get closer to one another and eventually begin dating, shunsuke is mildly taken aback by how affectionate and sweet you’ve become

it was like you were an entirely different person, though he definitely loved it

he would soon begin to realize that you were merely showing him your true self since you felt so comfortable and safe around him, and that fact in and of itself would fluster shunsuke

sure, since he was quiet it was easy for people to talk to him about anything since often times they wanted someone who would just listen, but he never once thought that someone would open up and be vulnerable to him

thus, even though he absolutely adores you and your sweet nature, shunsuke couldn’t help but get flustered everytime the two of you were alone, which surprised even himself

plus, he wasn’t really used to physical affection that much. sure his friend yuu was a bit clingy and touchy at times, but that was much different. one instance was where his friend was trying to get his attention, and the other was with his s/o

honestly, shunsuke would try his best to start showing his emotions much more around you as well

not only did he not want you to get the wrong idea and assume that he hated your affection (quite opposite really. shunsuke lived for it), but shunsuke also felt comfortable trying with someone who was cold to others just like him

it seemed like you truly understood him and thus wouldn’t judge

(he wouldn’t do it with anyone else, however, only you)

✿ Ryo Nishimiya

ryo is rather similar in a sense in that he’d rather keep to himself unless he’s really close with someone

so i think that he’d be thrilled to find someone similar to him because it made ryo feel validated in a way. like yes, he wasn’t weird and it was completely fine of him to not entirely be fond of others from the get go

the same could be said about you if you were insecure about the fact that you couldn’t open up to others easily. communicating was so difficult to you, yet others made it look so easy. it made you feel less about yourself, but having ryo by your side made you know that you weren’t alone

at first, ryo would keep his distance from you as well although that’s also because of his own awkward personality (he wouldn’t admit it, but you were also somewhat terrifying by how cold you seemed)

however, since the two of you were on the library committee together, you both found yourself often in each other’s company, shelving away books or returning overdue ones that students finally found in the bottom of their locker

it first started when you were reading one of his favorite series, and ryo couldn’t resist the urge to point it out and tell you just how great it was

after that incident, the rest was history, and the two of you soon grew close as you chatted about your favorite series, hobbies, etc. 

he wouldn’t really question the fact that you had suddenly become much more sweet and caring around him since ryo truly thought that it was perfectly normal for someone to hide themselves around most people

in fact, you may also be a bit surprised at just how sweet ryo could be himself since he was rather awkward and quiet when the two of you first met

needless to say, when the two of you were together, you both were as sweet as can be and were rather affectionate (if anyone caught you guys together, they wouldn’t even recognize you lmao)

despite that, he still gets easily flustered whenever you show the tiniest bit of affection or care for him since it wasn’t something he was quite used to

still loves it though

much like yuu, seiichiro loves to get along with everyone since he does think that it’s a part of his duty being the student body president and all

so ofc, seiichiro made it a responsibility of his to try and get along with you when you came to him with a question about joining the student council

he automatically realizes how you seem to close yourself off from others and how you don’t really talk much. it did bother him a bit but only because he wanted to be someone that others could talk to and depend on

over time, you find yourself spending more time with seiichiro, whether that be cleaning up the classroom together at the end of the day or him trying to sit down and have lunch with you

he manages to establish a trusting bond between you, and you soon find yourself gradually warming up to him and hanging out with him outside of school even 

he became a good friend of yours and soon boyfriend when the two of you confessed that you had feelings for one another

seiichiro isn’t all too surprised that you were actually a sweetheart on the inside given that the two of you took time to get to know each other

from all of your interactions and conversations and how you opened up to him, he knew that you were just someone that was careful around others. you only wanted those that truly cared for you to be around

he knew firsthand how intimidating he may seem, so seiichiro is always trying his best to seem approachable. he understands that you’re distant to those that you don’t really know and doesn’t see it as a problem 

he loves to receive your affection especially, although he is equally as good at giving it out as well. there was nothing he loved more than to cuddle up in your arms after a long, tiring day at school

since you’re not too fond of others, seiichiro is careful to drag you into conversation that you may not like. he really didn’t want to make you uncomfortable

if you so desired, he’d also spend a lot of time with just the two of you alone during breaks. often times the other student council members think he’s working (which he is don’t get me wrong), but in reality, he was hanging out with you as the two of you chatted about your day

he really didn’t see your cold, distant nature as much as a problem since he naturally assumed that you’d warm up to those that you loved, and it was something that you were quite grateful for

chai tea; how do they spice up their relationship?

Kouta absolutely adores spending time with you alone, whether it's cuddling while watching a cheesy romcom underneath warm blankets or eating lunch together at the same table. He loves loves loves your presence really! It's so inviting and comforting; it felt like home, a place where he can be safe and sound. To him, there was no better place other than your arms.

So when things start to get a bit stale or boring perhaps, Kouta suggests spending more alone time together, so intimate - though not too much - and cozy; it's the little moments in life that count after all! Plus, with school and everything else going on, rarely did the two of you have the chance to simply relax and rewind together, finding comfort in one another. It was, well, perfect. Being able to cuddle one another close, quiet save for the beating of each other's hearts (which could surely be heard) and your guys' breathing, I'm sure it's also a bonding moment somewhat. It feels rather deep and close somewhat to be able to hear the other's heart rate or breathing patterns, things that went unnoticed in day-to-day life. It wasn't as if it was anything too big, but ah, hearing kouta's heart beat as you lay on his chest, slightly shy as you pick up it's a tad bit faster than usual because of you specifically, it certainly did deepen your guys' bond, the two of you as close as ever (literally and metaphorically that is).

It may seem a bit cliché, perhaps, but simply cuddling one another and being so close in such a quiet environment certainly does spice up the relationship in a way. It makes Kouta realize even more just how utterly in love with you he was. There was no other sound that was as beautiful as your heart beat, no other warmth as comforting as your arms.

Shunsuke Yoshino

chai tea; how do they spice up their relationship?

Ah Shunsuke is a bit tricky given that he's not much of an outwardly affectionate person. He' stoic and usually remained quiet and composed, saying a few words here and there. To others, it seems to be quite the mystery as to how the two of you got into a relationship. But Shunsuke surely loves you and finds you interesting! Even when you guys have completely different interests, you two get along so well, able to read each other's minds. And Shunsuke does love learning more about you, finding himself more and more in awe and in love with you.

To spice up the relationship, I think Shunsuke would try out some of your interests or hobbies with you, even when he struggles a little at first, brows furrowed as he figures out exactly how to do this thing! You giggle at how adorable he is and show him of course, so Shunsuke is certainly fascinated by how much you seemed to enjoy this hobby, loving the way you smiled or the excitement that shown through, a blush prominent on his cheeks. It's...cute, watching how much fun you were having. Shunsuke indeed loved it; there was nothing better than doing things with you, in his mind since it was so much fun. Even if you're a little surprised when Shunsuke awkwardly asks if he can watch or work with you given how not talkative he is, you certainly do end up enjoying how engrossed Shunsuke becomes (if only to impress you and watch the sheer joy on your face, his favorite). And Shunsuke invites you as well, teaching you how to play soccer and perhaps finding it quite amusing if you mess up (ah you were so cute).

But doing hobbies together certainly brings the two of you much closer together, finding much fun in teaching the other or even working on projects together. It does deepen the bond and relationship between you guys and spices things up a little.

Seiichiro Minamoto

chai tea; how do they spice up their relationship?

He definitely enjoys going places, whether it's the usual trip to Puroland or even around the block to the grocery store; Seiichiro very much enjoys going out and tasting the fresh air. As someone so diligent and studious, he often finds himself trapped in his room, back bent over and eyes scanning another textbook for the umpteenth time. It was all so tiring. And sightseeing, well, I can surely see it as one of his hobbies.

So Seiichiro loves nothing more than going out to new places and exploring them with me, from hiking up a mountain trail to watching the cherry blossoms bloom in that one infamous park for it. There was nothing better than walking through places hand-in-hand together and discovering new sights, perhaps even a new favorite picnic sight for the two of you. Being able to share such beautiful sights together, amazed by nature itself, it felt so good actually. And Seiichiro absolutely loved the look of amazement in your eyes, the starstruck gaze you had as you observed such places. To him, your excitment and fascination was the cutest; it was more beautiful than any sights he'd seen, as cheesy as that sounded. And being able to witness them together was surely a blessing, in Seiichiro's mind anyway. There was nothing quite like the peaceful stillness, walking hand-in-hand and pointing out wonderful structures that were so pretty.

Exploring the world together, even when it was just right around the block, made the two of you much closer honestly, and the time spent together was very much enjoyable. It did make the relationship a little more exciting.

at first, kouta probably didn’t recognize you since he was so used to your long hair. there wasn’t really many people he knew that had hair as long as yours, so it was something he used to instantly recognize you in a crowd or if you guys were ever separated

definitely does a double take once he realizes the person that was walking towards him was really you, and you did, in fact, have short hair

kouta is quite shocked when he first sees you and a bit speechless when you ask him what he thought of your haircut

he never did think much of the image of you with short hair. the notion of a haircut never so much so as crossed his mind given how much you seemed to love your long hair

but kouta had to admit, you did look kinda hot

that was pretty much his first thought when you asked him for his opinion, and needless to say, kouta turned red all over. how could he think such thoughts, especially when you were right in front of him?

but dammit, he couldn’t stop thinking about how good you looked with such a haircut. how did he manage to land someone so cute and hot and everything in between?

“y-you, um, you look good.”

he did want to say more, go off about how you looked amazing, but he was simply much too flustered to face you. plus, kouta couldn’t think straight at the moment, so anything he tried to say only came out as jumbled fragments of a sentence

you did understand him though, and when you smiled, he felt as if his heart was going to jump out of his chest. it was basically a scene straight out of a shoujo manga

although kouta loved your long hair, always playing with it or running his hands through it whenever you asked him to, he also had a thing for your short hair. it really did suit you so well

he loved the way it framed your face, and despite its length, kouta did still run his hands through it or ruffle it whenever you allowed him. he just couldn’t help it; you were too cute!

on the outside, he doesn’t give much of a reaction, only nodding along and mouthing ‘oh’ as you walked in to class with your new haircut

but internally, well, it was a completely different story

you looked so good in that style, even cuter than hello kitty, and that’s saying a lot coming from him. honestly, it flustered him so much whenever he looked at you

definitely is always catching glimpses of you while you guys are in class, admiring how good you looked with your new haircut. it was as if shunsuke couldn’t take his eyes off of you

but at the same time, shunsuke couldn’t help but ask why you decided to change your look all of a sudden. you never did express interest in cutting your long hair, though then again, its maintenance was probably way too much work

“you got a haircut.”

that was the first thing he told you about it, as blunt and straightforward as ever. you were used to such a reaction from your boyfriend given how stoic he was, but you also couldn’t help but pout and wish for a bigger reaction

“it looks really good though.”

even though it was said with the same tone, you didn’t fail to notice the tiny blush that colored his cheeks or the way he averted his gaze, which certainly made you grin. seeing your boyfriend so shy was certainly worth it and adorable at that

whether it was long or short hair, shunsuke absolutely loved playing with your hair, often unprompted at times too. he lived for brushing your hair out of your face so that he could get a better look at you

i can see him having a thing where he likes to smell your hair and guess the shampoo you used (he often got it right), and it always made your heart race each time he said that it was nice

(you might even start to use a specific shampoo just because shunsuke said he liked it so much)

it’s immediately the first thing he notices and comments on when you greet him at the school entrance

“ah, y/n, i see you cut your hair. it fits you really well.”

honestly, you were the one to get flustered first from his words and that smile of his that never failed to play with your heart. seiichiro was always so sweet

he didn’t really think much of why you cut your hair in the first place. as long as you were happy, so was he. besides, seiichiro thought that you looked amazing in both long and short hair

definitely makes it his priority to compliment you on it, assuring you that he loved the way it framed your face and overall fit you

seiichiro knew how symbolic a haircut could be, especially if it was a large one. even if it was just hair, looks meant a lot to people. although he didn’t know if you cut it just because or due to a reason, seiichiro wanted you to know that he loved it regardless

every time he saw you around school that day, seiichiro couldn’t help but smile at the sight of you with short hair, especially since you were constantly playing with it

“could you please give these to the student council president?” one of your fellow club members asked, shoving a stack of documents into your arms. it was nearing the end of the day, and all the members were helping to clean up the classroom before all going their separate ways. quickly scanning over them, you weren’t quite sure what they were for and why a small school club even needed that many papers, but you decided that it would be much less of a headache if you just complied. it’s not like they really asked much out of you anyway since you were simply another member, a mere single digit they could add to their forms. the only reason you were even in a club was because everyone was expected to be in one.

“um, sure,” you replied, trying your best to hold the heavy load of papers. it would surely be a nightmare to reorganize if any were to spill. the other member seemed to pay no mind and instead started to thank you for going through all of the trouble. it’s not like you really minded the task, however, so all you could do was awkwardly stand still so that you could ask them one more question. “could you point me in the direction though?” 

it was usually the captain or co-captain that often dealt with the student council president, and you’d heard quite a bit about him. well, for one, he was supposedly quite handsome, though that was currently the least of your concerns. from what you’ve gathered, the president was a dependable guy, someone who was loved by all. he always took on a task someone asked of him, whether it be too big or small. yet, he was also a bit frightening due to how uptight and strict he was with guidelines. at times, he was quite a pain to deal with, or so you’ve heard. it was rather frustrating to all of the other club captains as they had to redo their forms many times in order to hold up to his standards. in short, the president was a perfectionist. no wonder the captain of your club didn’t want to go deliver the documents today. 

you shuddered at the thought of meeting such a guy, terrified that he’d have you stay longer and redo the papers. you didn’t even know how to fill out the forms, much less what was even on them. as much as you wanted to simply leave the documents at the doorstep, you knew that the club was depending on you. besides, if the president was that strict, then he’d surely get mad at your club, and you couldn’t risk it disbanding. there really wasn’t much you could currently do, however, since you had just arrived at his office. deciding that it was better to get it over with, you knocked on the door a few times, opening and stepping into the room the moment you heard ‘enter.’

you thought that surely the rumors and gossip were exaggerated when you saw a young man sitting at a desk, smiling up at you as you entered the room. there was possibly no way that such a generous looking fellow was so stern. well, there was one thing they got right: he really did seem like a dependable man. plus, he was quite good-looking if you did say so yourself. awestruck, it took you a few moments to snap out of your trance once you caught yourself staring, fumbling over your words in embarrassment as you introduced yourself. 

“uh, i’m y/n l/n from the card games club. the captain asked me to deliver these documents to you.” stepping forward to the desk, you shyly handed over the large stack, trying your best to avoid his gaze. you really hoped that everything was in order so that you could get out of there as soon as possible. your delivery was supposed to arrive today, and you wanted to get home on time to receive it. 

“it’s nice to meet you y/n.” at the sound of his voice, you couldn’t help but gush a bit. you couldn’t believe that you’d fallen for a few false rumors. he was a total sweetheart! or at least, from what you’ve seen. “i’m seiichiro minamoto, the student council president, though i’m sure you already know that.” the laugh that followed after was loud enough to make your heart jump, taken aback by the sudden noise. it also sounded so hearty and warm, however, that you couldn’t help but be flustered. seiichiro was shaping up to be a great guy. “let’s see now…” he muttered to himself as he scanned over the papers you had brought while you stood awkwardly in front of him, awaiting any feedback. it surely was anxiety-inducing, especially for someone that had never interacted with the president before. 

as you stood there, fidgeting and playing with your nails, you began to survey the room and the table, practically anything to avert your gaze from the male that was currently looking over the documents. the first thing that you notice is just how neat and tidy his desk was, despite the numerous papers that filled it. there was a clear system in place, and it was the definition of organization, something that you could only dream of achieving. the next thing you noticed was the sheer amount of papers that sat upon his desk. geez, did he really have to read over all of that, on top of solving disputes between students? seiichiro was nothing short of a superhero. the final thing that caught your eye, and the one that you were most shocked to see was a familiar cute puppy keychain he had on his lanyard. 

“is that a cinnamoroll keychain?” you gasped, forgetting the fact that you had just interrupted the student president. if your captain or any other club member was there with you, they would’ve surely scolded you for speaking out of line, not that it even mattered at that moment. that fact slipped your mind however as you focused at how cute cinnamoroll looked. you were excited to have found another fan of the adorable mascot, though you really weren’t expecting it to be the rumored stern student president of all things.  

“hm? oh, you’re talking about this.” seiichiro took hold of the keychain and held it up so that you could get a closer look. he smiled at the mention of cinnamoroll, cementing the fact that he was a fan which only made you that much more excited. “i take it that you’re a fan as well?”

“of course! cinnamoroll and his friends are so adorable. who couldn’t not love those large flappy ears of his or that cute cinnamon roll tail?” you gushed, all your remaining nerves and anxiety vanishing as you talked about your absolute favorite character. all the rules of etiquette, or at least those used when talking to the student president, were immediately forgotten the moment you found out that he was a fan as well. you had a hard time finding other fans of the mascot that were around you since most people simply told you to grow up and to stop fawning over such a “childish character.” it’s not like you could easily stop loving him though, especially when he’s helped you through some of your darkest times. cinnamoroll was like a friend to you, and you couldn’t just abandon him. needless to say, their opinions really only made you feel bad about yourself, and your love for cinnamoroll only seemed to grow. but now you had found someone who you could gush about him to, and you could finally share your love for cinnamoroll with no judgement at all. “say, have you ever met him?”

seiichiro couldn’t help but chuckle at your enthusiasm. he loved it though. i mean, it’s not everyday that he found another cinnamoroll superfan, especially during school activities. from then on, he just knew that the two of you would get along really well, bonding over your love of the same mascot. “yep, i’ve met him many times at puroland.” he smiled as he recalled all the times he’s met cinnamoroll. those were all fond memories of his, and seiichiro never got tired of meeting him. cinnamoroll always managed to relax and reassure him that he could get everything done. with his workload, it got hard for seiichiro to continue on at times due to burnout, and visiting cinnamoroll was sometimes the perfect remedy (coupled with rest of course). 

“lucky,” you mumbled. you had to admit that you were jealous that seiichiro had gotten to see cinnamoroll before, and at puroland of all places! it was one of your dreams to visit it and stroll around the cinnamoroll area, topping it off with finally being able to meet him. but it was also so cool that you knew someone who knew cinnamoroll. plus the fact that seiichiro had such cool and cute merch made you slightly envious as well. seiichiro was just so awesome, unlike all of those stern and uptight rumors you had previously heard. how come no one ever told you that he was a cinnamoroll fan as well? you would’ve been able to befriend him much sooner if that was the case. “i wish i could meet him someday.” 

“hm, well then y/n, would you like to come with me to puroland saturday?”

it took you a good few moments for you to process what had just happened. was the student council president, the seiichiro minamoto, asking you out on a date? the handsome, cool, and dependable seiichiro; the one right in front of you? of course it wasn’t a date though, just a hangout between friends. but you were so excited at that moment that your brain didn’t register it as the latter. not only would you get to hang out with seiichiro, but you would also be able to meet cinnamoroll. it was killing two birds with one stone!

“i-i’d love to! if you don’t mind that is,” you exclaimed, the excitement and nervousness clearly heard in your voice. it had come out of the blue so it made you extremely flustered. “then we can eat at the cinnamoroll café too!! my treat.” you internally squealed as you thought of your cinnamoroll-filled day that you were to spend with seiichiro in a few days. there were many plans for it that were buzzing around in your mind, but you knew that you had to narrow it down to a few ideas. there was no way that you could fit everything into one afternoon. 

“sounds like a plan.” with another smile of his, you felt your heart pound and your face flush. how did you get so lucky as to snatch a ‘date’ with someone as cute as him? “let’s exchange numbers.” the two of you pulled out your phones and began adding each other to your contacts, messaging one another a simple ‘hi’ to make sure that you were talking to the right person. “we can meet up at the nearest train station from here if that’s alright.” 

“that sounds good!” needless to say, you were giddy about the entire thing, and so was seiichiro though he didn’t outwardly show it. a day filled with cinnamoroll goodness spent side-by-side by another fan was exactly what you currently needed. besides, it’d be a chance for the two of you to bond over a shared interest and grow closer to one another. everything about it was just perfect. 

you couldn’t wait until saturday came by.

whenever you were sewing, shunsuke loved to sit by and watch you. it was adorable seeing how concentrated you were on the clothes you were mending, and besides, you loved having him as company even if he simply sat there in silence

he’d also like to try and be of help whenever possible. if you ever needed more thread or a patch, he’d get it for you no problem

also loved tending to any of your wounds such as if you accidentally poked yourself too hard with the needle and blood started to spill

gosh, you couldn’t help but get flustered each and every time he wrapped a bandage around your finger due to the proximity and the fact he always placed a gentle kiss on your wound each and every time without fail

shunsuke was always quiet and a bit stoic, so his love language was physical affection and acts rather than words of affirmation

whenever you mended his torn clothes for him or even made them, shunsuke was always over the moon. the fact that you took time out of your day to fix his clothes was simply too much for him, and he might even short-circuit

even if the design wasn’t his style, shunsuke still wore the pieces everywhere because you made them for him. it was the least he could do

perhaps it was simply his mind playing tricks on him, but each time he wore clothing that you tailored, shunsuke swore he could feel your warmth in them. it was as if you were there with him in spirit

much like shunsuke, seiichiro would find it rather admirable that you loved to sew

he had tried sewing in the past but quickly abandoned it when his studies and schoolwork began to take up more and more of his time, so he knew simply how time-consuming and straining it was

for the most part, whenever you were sewing, seiichiro left you alone and tended to his own responsibilities. he thought that you’d prefer a quiet environment when you did sew so that it’d be easier to concentrate, as much as he would love to watch you sew

at times, however, you’d strike up a conversation with him while you were preoccupied by sewing. you loved your boyfriend’s presence and his voice, so it’s not like he was a distraction in the slightest

when he sat beside you while you were concentrating on the piece of clothing on hand, seiichiro loved to try and follow along. he’s always wanted to learn sewing since he did think that it was a valuable skill to know, and this was the perfect opportunity to do so

you’d catch on to this and begin to teach him, allowing him to finish up some of the stitches and showing him different types of knots and whatnot along the way. it was something that the two of you bonded over

and, well, he was quite the quick learner, just what you’d expect from your prodigy boyfriend

he also tended to your wounds, though he may have gone overboard at times (”y/n, i simply don’t want you to get an infection. even bacteria can get into a small cut, and before you know it, it’s swollen and you’ve got a nasty infection”)

he was sweet and caring at least

seiichiro absolutely loved it whenever you mended his clothes or even made some of your own, though he couldn’t help but feel bad taking it. you had worked so hard on your pieces, and seiichiro felt as if he had nothing he could give you in return

you assured him that all you needed was his love and for him to enjoy the clothing, to which he very much obliges. seiichiro wears your pieces around quite often and admires all the detail and work that went into it whenever he looked in the mirror. it was simply perfect

even if he was a bit sloppy and quite the amateur, seiichiro would also try and mend your clothes. although you often had to go through and fix the stitches, you appreciated the thought, and it never failed to make your heart act up

seiichiro hoped that one day he’d be skillful enough to make his very own clothing much like you. he loved nothing more than handmade gifts, so he fantasized about the day he could give you something that he crafted with his very own hands. it was the best way for him to show just how much he loved you

i feel like kouta is a bit more traditional when it came to dating and relationships and all that, so he’d probably want to get ryo’s approval of him dating you

plus, it would put him on ease to know that your family liked him and supported your guys’ relationship

ryo would definitely mess with him and say that he didn’t approve of kouta dating you, though that would also be because he hated seeing you get all cheesy and romantic with someone he considers a friend

besides, ryo also found it to be a bit weird that kouta was so hung up on something as trivial as his approval

poor kouta would freak out and try his best to make your brother like him, to which you’d try to reassure him that there was no need since the only thing that mattered was that you guys loved each other

he might become a bit more hesitant and awkward around you whenever ryo was also in the scene since he did want to make a good impression

it was only when ryo finally gave in and accepted that kouta would return to normal, though he’d soon come to regret it since he couldn’t stomach the sight of you and kouta being all lovey dovey

yuu first found out when the two of you were hanging out in your room and chatting about who knows what (he’d never been over before for either you or ryo so he had no idea how your house looked like)

unfortunately for the both of you, ryo had wanted to ask you which chores you were supposed to do this week, so he’d walked in on the two of you making out

ryo immediately went red in the face, embarrassed to have found his sibling and friend in such a private moment

(that was actually how the two of you got to know one another and it often led to ryo feeling like he was the thirdwheel of a date)

similar to shunsuke, seiichiro wouldn’t act that much different around you or ryo, although he might ask for ryo’s permission to date you since he does seem like the formal type

since ryo really did look up to seiichiro and adore him, he’d have absolutely no problem with the two of you dating

at times, he’d be the one to tell you to stop bothering seiichiro lmao

gushing over seiichiro was definitely something the two of you did since you both really admired him. it was a great sibling bonding moment

he’d definitely love to catch on to similarities between you and your brother at times, such as your mannerisms or way of speaking

so he’d point it out and say that you’re just like ryo, although you wouldn’t be too happy with the comparison at times

your flustered expression would be adorable though

if you express to him just how much you hate being compared to ryo, he’d stop and apologize for having upset you (it made you feel a bit guilty since you knew that he meant well)

the moment the plate of the glorious golden cinnamon roll was placed in front of you, you had to pinch yourself to make sure that this wasn’t a dream but rather reality. it wasn’t a dream that you were now in puroland; it wasn’t a dream that you were now seated in the cinnamoroll dream cafe; and it certainly wasn’t a dream that you were enjoying this experience side-by-side with the handsome and dependable student council president of your school: seiichiro minamoto. this all felt too good to be true. i mean, never in your wildest dreams did you think that you would find yourself surrounded by everything cinnamoroll, alongside a fellow cinnamoroll lover at that too. you wanted to savor in each and every moment so that it was ingrained into your mind. this day was already becoming perfect. 

when you snapped back to your senses, gazing at the rather large cinnamon roll situated right in front of you, your mouth began to water. the sweet cinnamon and sugar aroma that wafted through the air didn’t help either. the dough looked so golden and buttery, the icing a beautiful pure white and light blue, and the little cinnamoroll foam topping on top was just way too adorable. how could you even eat something as pretty as this?

“gah, this is so cool,” you mumbled to yourself, containing a small squeal so that you didn’t just erupt into a little fangirl session right then and there. it looked so perfect and beautiful, but the smell was also making you quite hungry. from all that walking you did and excitement you felt as you visited the puroland attractions, you definitely deserved a snack, no matter how cute it may have been. immediately, you cut out a small piece and ate it, instantly humming in content. it was so warm and buttery and melted in your mouth. there was so much cinnamon goodness though it was perfectly balanced by the sweetness of the icing. sure it might’ve been a bit too sugary and sweet, but you didn’t seem to take notice since you were currently too caught up with the fact that you were eating a cinnamoroll themed dessert. if only you had taken a picture beforehand to commemorate it (you were too caught up in the excitement to even consider it). 

the smile never left your face the entire time you ate your dish, though you could’ve sworn you saw seiichiro smile from the corner of your eye. that thought made you quite flustered and caused you to choke up a little, embarrassed at the fact that he had caught you in that little self-indulgent moment of yours. gosh, what if he could tell that you were quietly squealing to yourself? perhaps he even found it to be quite adorable? geez, that thought made you so flushed, and you felt your cheeks begin to warm up. quickly trying to brush that thought aside, you directed your attention towards seiichiro and his snack. it was most likely all in your head anyway. seiichiro was a really sweet guy that everyone loved; there was no way he was pining after you. “what did you get seiichiro?”

his drink looked so dreamy from afar, with its side drizzles and sweets on top. there was even one of those iconic chocolate wafer sticks placed in the brown colored whipped cream that sat atop the drink. sure it was nothing more than a sugar concoction, but it was the perfect thing for a pick me up. the both of you needed the energy anyway, especially since there were still quite a bit of attractions to get through. 

“i got the brown sugar boba tea,” he replied, taking a sip from it. “it’s a bit too sweet for me, but it’s still quite good.” the smile that followed did nothing but attack your heart. why’d a simple smile have to look so good on him too? “but how are you enjoying your cinnamon roll?”

“it’s good!” you replied a bit too enthusiastically, though you decided to blame it on your current sugar high. “it’s so buttery and sweet, the perfect snack to satisfy my sweets craving. plus, it has cinnamoroll on it.” you picked up the foam and showed it to seiichiro, still in awe at how adorable it looked. it felt so nice to have someone to bond over the cute puppy mascot with you. “gahh, i can’t wait to meet him. i bet it’s so magical.”

“meeting cinnamoroll always makes me feel better,” seiichiro chimed in. he was happy to see you enjoying yourself and absolutely couldn’t wait for you to meet cinnamoroll. puroland and cinnamoroll were indeed magical, and seiichiro was glad that they were able to help out someone else. “it’ll be worth the trip.”

“i don’t doubt that. when does the meet open though?”

“hm, about two hours from now.”

“damn…” you were starting to grow a bit impatient. don’t get me wrong, you absolutely adored the fact that seiichiro was kind enough to invite you to puroland, and the sights here were something else, but you also were really looking forward to meeting cinnamoroll. taking another bite out of your dessert, you began to imagine just how it would be like to once and for all meet your adored mascot. you might freeze on the spot from all the excitement, perhaps tear up a bit. it was pretty hard to predict how you might react to finally meeting the puppy that you admired so much, but whatever happened, you knew that it’d be a perfect experience at the end. the time to meet cinnamoroll couldn’t have come any faster.

the moment you saw cinnamoroll in front of you, a mere few feet away from where you were standing, you had to pinch yourself to make sure that this wasn’t a dream but rather reality. it wasn’t a dream that you were at puroland; it wasn’t a dream that you were standing in line with seiichiro, waiting for a chance to meet cinnamoroll; and it certainly wasn’t a dream that you were about to meet your hero (maybe it was a bit of a stretch, but you really did adore cinnamoroll who helped you through the toughest times). and just like that we were at the beginning again. 

there were a few people in front of you right now, and you were trying your best to calm your nerves before you got to meeting him. every sensation and feeling had left your body at the moment, replaced by nothing but a mixture of nervousness, adrenaline, and excitement, though it was mainly nervousness. everything felt so surreal, as if it was nothing but a hazy dream. it still hadn’t settled in that you were really going to meet cinnamoroll even if he was right in front of you. maybe it was simply your nerves or because you had believed that you weren’t going to be meeting him so soon, but you were finding it rather hard to believe that that was actually cinnamoroll. how would you meet him? oh gosh, what if you fumbled with your words or shook his hands wrong? what if you made a complete fool out of yourself? those thoughts did absolutely nothing to help calm you down. 

before you could continue overthinking about how you were going to approach cinnamoroll, you felt a heavy hand on your shoulder. it was warm and comforting; it was reassuring and calmed down your nerves immediately; it was seiichiro. looking up at him, he gave you a soft smile. 

“you must be excited,” he chuckled. 

“yeah…” you muttered, averting your gaze back to cinnamoroll. he must’ve caught on to how tense you were and wanted to try to ease your anxiety. he must’ve felt the same way when he first met cinnamoroll after all. you were honestly really grateful that you had him by your side. seiichiro really was a dependable and sweet guy, always wanting to help out others. if it weren’t for him, you probably would’ve fainted on the spot right now. he helped keep you standing upright. 

by the time it took you to calm down and reset your mind, it was you and seiichiro’s turn to meet with cinnamoroll, though the shock of it all made you freeze up. it took a good few seconds for you to move from your spot, prompted by seiichiro’s gentle push. and soon enough, you were standing in front of your most beloved character, who was dressed in his cute cafe outfit. geez, he looked even more adorable up front in person! his floppy ears were the cutest, and his soft smile did nothing to quell your nerves. this was all so surreal. it still hadn’t settled in that you were, in fact, standing in front of the cinnamoroll right now, so the most you could do was stand in front of him in awe. it really didn’t feel like this was reality but rather a dream. 

but the moment cinnamoroll waved at you and held out his arms, motioning for you to hug, it all hit and came crashing down at once. you were physically there at puroland, physically in front of cinnamoroll, and physically meeting him. it sure didn’t feel like reality, but you were damn happy that it was. and when the realization hit, your tears came flowing all at once from the sheer happiness and joy you felt at that moment (plus, he was just way too cute for his own good). you couldn’t believe that you were finally meeting cinnamoroll, the adorable white puppy mascot that helped you through all your good days and bad. he was always there for you, and now you finally had a chance to meet and thank him for all he’s done for you. is this was heaven felt like? ok, that might be a bit of a stretch, but you were on cloud nine at the moment. 

you immediately jumped into cinnamoroll’s arms and tightly hugged him, taking in his warmth. it was rather comforting and promptly relieved you of any nerves or adrenaline you had left over. the tears never stopped, however, although it’d be more accurate to say that they couldn’t stop. you were just too euphoric at that moment, and the tears naturally flowed because of it. the fact that you were able to revel in cinnamoroll’s touch was a dream come true. 

when the two of you pulled away, cinnamoroll seemed to have noticed your tears with the way he tried to wipe them away and comfort you. needless to say, you were quite taken aback when his stubby arms gently caressed your cheeks, but it felt so nice. sure, it did tickle a bit, but the action only made you feel flushed. his touch was way too reassuring, and although he never spoke, you could tell what he was trying to say from what his touch conveyed: “please don’t cry! i’m right here for you!” 

alas, this only made you cry harder. the fact that your favorite character was reassuring you (for real this time too!) made your heart melt. cinnamoroll actually cared for you, and it was one of the only things that you had ever wanted to hear. he was simply too sweet. you didn’t care much for what the scene might’ve looked like for those on the outside, seeing a random person burst into tears at the sight of cinnamoroll. all that mattered at that moment was the fact that you were meeting cinnamoroll. 

unbeknowest to you, seiichiro who was standing behind you certainly did think that it was a cute sight. you looked rather adorable as you embraced cinnamoroll, clearly fixating on nothing but him at the moment. it put a smile on his face to see you enjoying himself. in fact, seiichiro was enjoying spending time with you at puroland as well! it was always nice to spend time with a friend, especially one who was just as much as a cinnamoroll fanatic as he was. he totally understood how you felt right now. meeting cinnamoroll was always overwhelming and emotional, at least for him anyway. it felt as if a heavy burden has been lifted, and for a few moments, everything was perfect. 

and for you, everything was in fact, perfect. i mean, you finally got to visit puroland and meet cinnamoroll! that itself was more than a perfect day in your eyes. not only that, but you also got to spend the day alongside seiichiro, someone that you considered a friend. it really wasn’t everyday that you met someone who unironically loved sanrio, cinnamoroll in particular, so you held him close to your heart. plus, he invited you to meet cinnamoroll, so he must be a great person (you kid yourself, of course, but you really did love seiichiro).

cinnamoroll really did help bring people together.

shunsuke really wasn’t expecting to find you waiting for him at home when he returned from soccer practice

he also wasn’t expecting to see you cuddling with his hello kitty plush that he bought for himself as a birthday gift one year

honestly, it was quite an adorable sight that made him melt

there were only a few things that he was soft for: you and hello kitty. so to have the two come together made him quite happy to say the least

i can totally see him getting a tiny bit jealous, however, at the way you seemed to be clinging on a bit too tightly to the plush

he was starting to miss your touch since the two of you didn’t often see each other at school, so to see you cuddling hello kitty when you could’ve been cuddling him did agitate shunsuke a bit

though he’d never admit that

as much as he loved hello kitty, she was, after all, just a plush in this instance. he was a physical person that could reciprocate your touch and affection!!

basically, he missed your kisses and warmth

so he’d join in on the cuddling session and would act a bit more clingy than usual, not that you complained. he was so big and warm and cuddly. it was paradise

if you confessed that you cuddled his hello kitty plush because you missed him and it was the closest thing that reminded you of him, shunsuke would definitely go out and buy you your own plush

it was a little something to help you remember him by, especially during times where you were missing him

he knew how difficult it could be to be away from someone you loved for a while, and he wanted to try and help ease that pain

when seiichiro returned from archery practice, he was surprised to find you napping in his room with his cinnamoroll plush in your arms

he automatically assumed that you had been waiting for him to return home from all of his extracurriculars once school had ended, so he does feel a bit guilty for forgetting to mention that he’d come home late

there had been quite a bit of requests and petitions from multiple clubs and students that he and the rest of the student body had to sort through, not to mention that there were a few conflicts he had to resolve as well archery practice on top of all that

since it had been a long day and you seemed tired, seiichiro would drape a blanket over you and let you nap while he worked on his studies on the other side of the room, checking on you every once in a while to assure that you were comfy

(besides, the sight of you cuddling with his plush was just too adorable and he couldn’t take his eyes off you)

when you eventually woke up, seiichiro would immediately be at your side, asking you about how your day went as well as how long you’d been waiting for him

i can totally imagine him cuddling you as well if you asked him to do so, especially since you missed his warmth

when you mentioned that, saying that his cinnamoroll has his scent and reminded you of him, seiichiro would feel much more guilty

he knew that he was getting quite busy as of late, but he didn’t know that it was taking quite a toll on you since you guys didn’t see each other much. honestly, he also felt bad that he didn’t take your wellbeing into account as well

from then on, i can see seiichiro trying his best to lessen his workload or at least manage his time well in attempt to spend more time with you

to be honest, he was beginning to miss you as well

i feel like he’d also gift you the cinnamoroll plush so that you had something to comfort you on days that he was extremely busy

it’s not as if he really used it much, and besides, it absolutely melted his heart to know that you thought of him whenever you looked at the plush

kouta himself wasn’t the best the math, so he definitely understood your struggle

everything was simply too difficult. why was the alphabet now being mixed in with numbers? where did these formulas even come from? what did they mean??

the two of you often tried to study together for any math tests or quizzes and help each other out with anything that one understood that the other may find confusing

unfortunately, however, you two found everything to be confusing, so study sessions were often meaningless and turned into venting ones

they were helpful in that sense. sometimes, all the two of you needed was to vent and let off some steam in order to feel better

(since you both had no idea what was going on, you two often sought out seiichiro to help you guys out)

every time you became increasingly frustrated with the problems, kouta would make you take a quick snack break and have you chat with him

although he wasn’t the best, kouta would also try and crack jokes here and there to lighten the mood

if you get a bad test/quiz score and are really depressed about it, kouta will be the first one by your side to cheer you up

he’s gotten his fair share of bad test scores and knows how crummy it feels, so kouta would try methods that always cheered him up

he’d try to distract you from your score too by taking you out for lunch or playing games or even letting you hold his precious pompompurin plush

kouta would even show you his own test score and just how badly he did as well to show you that you weren’t alone. perhaps he’d even share a few of his embarrassing stories to make you feel better about yourself as well

he never wanted you to feel like you were any less simply because you were bad at math

honestly, math was a mixed bag for ryo. it was either easy or difficult depending on the topic

so at times he’s sympathize with your confusion and frustration on the topic whereas others he’d be perplexed as to how you didn’t understand such a simple (well, to him anyway) concept

since ryo was your boyfriend, whenever you weren’t sure on a topic that ryo understood, he was the first one you went to ask for help

it wasn’t necessarily the best decision at times, however

i think that ryo has a bit of a temper, in that he gets annoyed rather quickly though doesn’t show it, so when you don’t automatically understand a concept, ryo starts to grow impatient

he tries his best to get you to understand the problem and tries to simplify it, but to no avail

when you start to become increasingly frustrated and on the brink of tears, ryo would definitely soften up and any bit of annoyance he felt would immediately be gone

ryo feels guilty and thinks that it’s his fault that you were now like this, so he pushes off all the papers and books and practically forces you to take a break to take your mind off of things

(and perhaps he was worried that you were mad at him so he wants you to forget everything that just happened)

afterwards, ryo has to face the fact that he wasn’t the best teacher, so he’d go out and look for a tutor or get seiichiro or even one of his older sisters to help you out

although ryo wasn’t the best at comforting others, if you’re upset because of a test score or because being bad at math just made you feel worse about yourself, he’d be right by your side

he might be a bit awkward at first, especially with the physical affection (woah, who was this guy that initiated all the affection? what did he do with your boyfriend?), but you could tell that ryo was trying his best

he’d also try to convince you that it really didn’t matter that much

“c-come on y/n! it’s just a stupid math test! it’s not like it’s that important.”

just from his efforts alone you’d cheer up, happy to know that ryo did care that much about you

seiichiro was, well, pretty good at math. to be fair though, he was practically good at everything

you’re actually pretty embarrassed when you admit to him that you’re not that good at math. you were worried that he’d think less of you because of it, since he was the star student of the school

seiichiro, however, sympathized with you. he understood what it was like to struggle with a concept for days on end, even if he did eventually get it at the end

since he hates to see you feel down about yourself, seiichiro would offer to tutor you after school (plus, he got time to hang out with you so it was a win-win really)

and honestly, he was a pretty good tutor, much to your surprise

seiichiro was always patient and understanding and took it slow when it came to teaching you concepts and how to do certain problems. his explanations were always so simple and straightforward that the concepts seemed like child’s play

at the end of each session, you found that you actually learned a lot, and the stuff you were confused on made much more sense

(geez, seiichiro was an angel in disguise)

you were very grateful for your boyfriend and often tried to repay him through many cuddles and kisses

if you get a bad score on a test or quiz, seiichiro will always be there to comfort and reassure you that next time you’d do much better

he always had a way with words and made you feel smarter at the end of every lecture of his

seiichiro would also set up study dates for the two of you where he’d help you go over every problem you got wrong and explain it. the two of you were in it together

if you did better next time, you’d definitely thank seiichiro for his patience and willingness to help you

grades weren’t everything, and seiichiro wanted you to see that there was much more to yourself than simply your bad grades

he always wanted you to know that being bad at math didn’t define you as a person, and he loved you for you

“do you mind if i play a song?” y/n asked, scrolling through her playlist in search of the perfect song to accompany the atmosphere of the night drive. her earphones were tangled near the ends and the left ear had fallen out, but she paid no mind and continued listening to her tunes. everything about this moment had a perfect stillness to it. it was rather early in the morning, around four or so when the sky was still dark and the clouds began to cover up the stars again. it was a weird time to be out, sure, but y/n had a plane to catch in a few hours, and her good friend seiichiro volunteered to help drive her out to the airport.

“of course not,” seiichiro responded, stopping his humming of a pop song he had heard on the radio that one time. his rhythmic tapping atop the steering wheel, however, continued, although y/n was too busy figuring out how to connect her device to take notice of the distracting taps. that was really one of the few words they had exchanged so far on this drive, not wanting to disturb the stillness of the night and the feel of the atmosphere.

finally having found the perfect song, y/n began to play it through the car speakers, adjusting the volume just a touch as to not have it blaring but rather as soft background noise. “i think you’re gonna love this one,” she commented before pressing play. “it’s a bit cheesy, but it’s very melodic and catchy and...i don’t know, i just think you’ll love it.” this confession caught him a bit off guard. the fact that y/n had thought of him while listening to the song made him feel all mushy and warm, a feeling that he wasn’t familiar with. just what was this strange warmth?

trying to push off all those thoughts, seiichiro stuck to listening to the song, although he was more focused on the road ahead of course. emotions and feelings were rather touchy subjects for him, or more like he never really liked to stop and consider his own. seiichiro was, after all, much more concerned with the others around him. whenever he began to think about his own feelings, such as if he truly wanted to study that much and play archery or if he actually was crushing on y/n, seiichiro began to cringe. emotions were far too complicated, and quite frankly, he didn’t think that he had time to stop and make sense of them. his life was much too fast-paced between juggling studies, sports, and a social life.

y/n, on the other hand, seemed to be off in her own world, rolling down her window to enjoy the cool night breeze and gaze at the little stars that remained up above. seiichiro wished that he could be a bit carefree like her. nighttime always got her thinking. he was never sure what she was thinking, but that mystery was the beauty of it. the way she gazed so admiringly at the sky, bathed in the moonlight, made her seem nothing short of a goddess, or at least that’s what it felt like.

gosh, there he was, thinking of her again. his mind seemed to naturally drift towards her, although seiichiro interpreted it as him beginning to miss her at that moment. y/n was about to be gone for the next month or so over break, traveling to visit places that were the stuff of dreams. she always went on and on about the calming flower gardens she’d come across or the crystal clear rivers overflowing with life and vibrant fish. seiichiro was happy for her, of course. after all, what sorta friend would he be if he was not? but he couldn’t help but feel a bit down that she’d be gone for a month. the two had seen each other quite often, and with her gone, seiichiro couldn’t help but feel a bit empty. all those late night drives the two always embarked on would no longer feel the same.

truth be told, although seiichiro was stern when it came to following a set schedule and studying, he always enjoyed the late night drives y/n dragged him on. it was a way for him to unwind. the world would seem to stop in those moments, as if him and y/n were the only ones living in it. in a way, y/n was always the one that forced him to relax and take some time off. she always looked after and took care of him.

“soo, what’d you think of it?” it was her voice that snapped him out of his thoughts, finally realizing that the song she’d put on had stopped playing. as much as he’d hate to admit, seiichiro had totally forgotten about the song and drowned it out, instead splitting his attention between the road and his thoughts (which was rather strange to say the least. for whatever reason, thinking about y/n always got him thinking about his feelings).

“oh, it was pretty good,” he replied, trying his best to hide his lie as to not upset her. seiichiro never did commend lying, but he somehow always provided an exception if it was to make y/n happy. y/n questioned him no further and smiled, going back to her phone as to pick another song for him to listen to, although he wasn’t sure they had enough time since the airport was getting pretty close.

for the remainder of the drive, seiichiro began to think deeply about his feelings towards y/n. he wasn’t a fool. he knew that he liked her (it was pretty obvious since he always thought about her and blushed whenever she came just a bit too close or brushed hands), but seiichiro also liked to deny it since he didn’t want to ruin their friendship. but, this time, it felt different. he was considering confessing his feelings, which was quite a jump from denying any sort of attachment to now wanting to ask her out. of course, he knew that this was irrational and a spur of the moment action, but seiichiro felt the most confident right now. whether it was because it was late and the fatigue had finally hit or because he finally gathered enough courage, seiichiro had finally decided on what he was going to do.

“i guess it’s time for me to go,” y/n muttered, standing in line for the security check. although it was around five at this point, there was frankly too many people in the airport. the duo had already said their goodbyes by this point. seiichiro, the one who was confident and about to confess just a few sentences ago, had suddenly lost any and all courage, although the crowd might’ve been a factor. also, he had concluded that maybe the airport wasn’t the best time to confess. but he also didn’t just want to leave her like that.

“y/n,” he mumbled, just loud enough for her to hear. seiichiro was, needless to say, a bit nervous right now. he wasn’t going to confess, but he did want to say something heartfelt, something that indicated his feelings for her. he began breaking out into a sweat and rubbed the back of neck, a sign of nervousness. gosh, why was stuff like this so hard? it’d be better to get it over with though. “um, do you want to, you know…” seiichiro trailed off, having lost his train of thought and composure which was quite abnormal for him to say the least. “do you want to go out sometime when you come back?”

well, that didn’t come out sounding right at all. rather, that sounded like he was indeed asking her out. although seiichiro seemed to be rather calm on the outside, he was panicking quite a bit. i mean, he kinda did just ask out his crush/best friend even when that wasn’t his intention whatsoever. thankfully, however, y/n didn’t mind the strange wording at all and in fact, smiled? that certainly wasn’t the reaction he was expecting, but he’ll take it.

“i’d love to.” it was her last sentence y/n directed towards him before going through the security check, being the last time he’d see her until the next month when he’d pick her up. looking back, y/n gave a quick smile before finally heading off. although seiichiro did start to miss her, he did feel a bit relieved having finally asked her out. when she came back, he was sure to take her out on their first official date, or at least that’s what he liked to call it. for now, however, he’d wait for her to return.
