Therapy call 24/6/21

It started out weird. The appointment was at 1 pm. I waited on my couch at 12:55 like i always do. The clock rolled 1, then 1:05, 1:10.. i wasnt fazed - she has been late before. At 1:20 i started getting worried. Did i get the time wrong? Was it 3 pm and not 1 pm? I have a history of doubting myself and that makes it hard to check up on the timing. Yet, i managed to send a text - i asked, what time our appointment was. No answer. At this point i was sure i got the timing wrong and she was with a patient, thus not answering. Boy was i wrong. 15 minutes later she called. She had forgotten, sort of, being immersed in paperwork.

Thank the heavens i was in a good mood so this didnt affect me much. It threw me off just a littlebit durin the phone call - but it faded away eventually.

So what did we talk about? I had read on a chat about someone, who posted how they were suffering during their therapists holiday. Someone else had answered them saying theirtherapy was going wrong if they were so dependent on their therapist. They were very mean avout it too. Its hard to disclose wha happened in english, so i wontgo into more detail. The point is thisreaöly annoyed me, being someone who is also dependent on tjeir therapidt and suffering during a break.

I felt like I was in the wrong somehow,even if i knew i was right. We talked about that in detail with my therapist. Thankfully she agreed with me and didnt think my dependence was sickly somehow, or not to be encouraged. We spent at leadt 15 minutes on this topic!

Thats really all i remember talking anout - i didnt dissociate, but i really had not much to talk about either. There was some chitchat aboyt my car troubles.

We also spent some time refining in which situations it would be oksy for me to sendher a text. Its so hard for me to sccept im allowed to do that. The self critic thinks i have to suffer alone. My T said the text could be centered on what I need - if im having trouvle eating, id ask ”can i eat”. If im feeling like im too much, ill askjust that. And apparently its okay to send a text in a positive situstion too - something that does feel a bit weird, cause im not used to bringing the therapy relationship to my ”real” life.

This is very long and not that much centered on tje phone call. Sorry for that.

Posy always thought she was just a normal kid, her mom and brothers always said that she was. Sure she guessed what might happen to her family like, 'Gale, do not forget that you have a random pop quiz today.' or 'Rory, don't even think about taking my stuffed bunny and hiding her in the backyard.' But they always just went with it and said Posy was just good at guessing things and she would just grow out of it. As she grew up Posy never grew out of it, in fact she started doing it more. She would always say random things to her family and friends, warning them what would happen if they did this or went a certain way to get some where and honestly it started to worry them a lot. One day her mom said that she was taking Posy to the mall to get some shoes but Posy refused to go and she even begged her mom not to go when she said she would just go without her. Hazelle demanded Posy tell her what was going on and Posy started crying and told her that someone put a bomb in the mall and they would both die if they went there. Hazelle grabbed Posy and asked her how she knew that, thinking maybe she heard someone at school talking about doing that but Posy looked her in the eyes and said, ' I saw it all in my head mom...I saw us and all these people die.' Posys mom just told her nothing was going to happen and was trying to calm her down when her brother Vick ran into the room and told them that a bomb went off in the mall they were planning to go to. That's when Posys mom decided to sendher away, she heard about this hospital that took teenagers like Posy and 'fixed' them and thought that it was the best solution for her daughter. But she was very very wrong.
