Son of the Demon
Batman: Son of the Demon
Below-average story, which - annoyingly - is apparently out of continuity.
Dreary 78-page adventure which has the first post-Crisis appearances of Ra's Al Ghul and Talia. Maybe. Batman fights terrorists at a chemical plant, fails to prevent a scientist’s murder, and ends up working with a former enemy to stop someone even worst from controlling the weather. He also gets married and fathers a child! Maybe.
There are no surprises. Batman becomes less effective as a hero when he has a wife and child to worry about. That’s it. That’s the big point of the novel. The main villain is bland and forgettable. His plan is boring. Batman’s new ally keeps calling him “Detective” over and over and over. It grows very tedious long before the page 78 is reached.
A quick look at the DC Comics Database reveals that this tale has “a strange place in continuity.” I’ve only been reading DC Comics for 18 months but this is something I sinerely hate about them: their messy continuity. The BATMAN stories seem to be the worst for it. Different writers seem to have different ideas as to whether this story - and elements of it - actually happened or not. All this nonsense is a real chore for a new reader to deal with.

do you guys know that every light novel volume has some information about tappei on a cover and from volume 2 to volume 7 he mentions one more time he got into a car accident. six times in a row i opened a new volume and i was like "surely he isn't gonna say about another accident" and every time he did. i actually think this is a funniest thing he has ever done.

So far of this week’s spotlight showcase were April O’ Neil and Donatello from the original TMNT animated series. If only they would bring back the two missing turtles from the first game and Shredder. That is if the devs will have time to bringing back on further updates in line.
Also, I’m hesitate when the game released in Fall this year. There other games will soon be released as well from the like of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 and Super Mario Bros. Wonder in October.
Its gonna be a problem unless they’ll saving it for November release date instead. I’m hoping that’s the case.
BTW, how unexpected to see April’s super attack being taking page of DBZ? Sure know how to make her anime impression.

Sylvester McCoy's first episode as the Doctor first aired on September 7, 1987. Arrangments couldn't be agreed on with Colin Baker after his firing during the hiatus, so the plans of his farewell episode and regeneration had to be scrapped. Instead his regeneration took place at the beginning of the episode with Sylvester standing in for him wearing a Colin Baker wig. ("Time and the Rani pt 1" Doctor Who vlm 1, TV event)
