Yeah I’m seeing other people’s blogs getting it too, it’s weird. All I know is online it’s just people who are so insecure about themselves that someone who is happy and confident in themselves makes them froth at the mouth. Hi! @afiananvandot So it is clear to me that you have never heard of a headcanon before. Gonna put this definition here for you just so you won't be shocked whenever you consume any media on the internet ever.

Headcanon refers to something that a fan imagines to be true about a character even though no information supporting that belief is spelled out in the text.

Funnily enough, there is some evidence in the original media that could support the headcanon, but I'll save that for a different post. Some other day. <3

I'd also like to add that Owen Dennis believes in Death of the Author.

He has also implied that he was turned down from adding queer characters, and he (for obvious reasons) couldn't just state who.

Also, to be clear, not every nonbinary person magically knows they're nonbinary at 13. I can assure you I didn't figure out my gender until I was at least 20. It's a fair assumption that Lake- a character who has had little chance to experience life and be theirself- might not figure that out during the duration of the show.

Anyways, let trans people have headcanons.
