Thanks @taralaurel, @theghostofashton & @iboatedhere. Bouncer Carlos refuses to write itself while I adult, but I'm making a bit of progress -

Carlos raises his glass, holding it out in a toast. “Well then,” he starts, waiting for TK to join him. “To new friends,” he says as they carefully touch glasses. TK watches Carlos chase the straw with his tongue for a moment before moving it aside with his nose and drinking straight from the rim. He continues watching as Carlos swallows, his Adam’s apple bouncing in the silhouette of his thick neck. He is so fucked. TK squeezes his eyes shut and drinks from his own straw, catching it on the first try. What can he say, he’s fantastic with his tongue.  Carlos clears his throat. “So,” he begins, setting his drink back on the coaster but holding on, rubbing at the condensation with his thumbs. “So,” TK parrots with a laugh, “what’s it like being the bouncer here?” If he’s going to be nice without sucking the guy’s dick then he’s going to have to make small talk. Carlos looks at him for a moment before answering. “It’s fine. Mostly easy. I do two hours on the floor and then two at the door three times a week. Everyone here is nice.”  TK hums, wondering what the hell he’s supposed to ask next. This is torture. “It’s nice you get a break in between,” he tries, hoping Carlos will elaborate or something. What do people talk about when they’re not at work or asking for sex? 

It may not be the weekend now or much longer, but might @hoko-onchi-writes @kiloskywalker or @goodways want to share anyway?

At the heart of it, Heejin needs more time and more therapy than Jungkook. Jungkooks wife Sooah was his therapy. She helped break that friendship between him and Yugyeom, she was actually the one who wanted him to sell the company when they were about to go bankrupt, she has been a wonderful influence on Jungkook who has grown up with overbearing parents who care alot about money and appearances.

Which is kind of why Jungkook responds so quick and so well with therapy. Sevenplus years with Sooah has made him open to unlearning and rewiring himself into a better person.

Heejin suffice to say is nothing like that.

She has a long long long way to go.
