Anyways, SG Fragmentation AU's decepticon combiners pre-fragmentation :D a lovely trio. they might not be as fierce as warriors in this universe but they more than make up for it with their other traits

SG Devastator: is still the oldest modern combiner, reforged from a crew of Decepticon medics who sacrificed their lives in a difficult battle. despite his name, devs was never quite one for destruction. while not incapable of combat, devastator much prefers fixing things up, whether they are buildings or other mechs. patient and steadfast, he is both an expert in construction and medicine. he very much considers himself the older brother to the other two combiners and checks up on them frequently, considering the fact that he's pretty much the only one can do that on a regular basis. compared to his more aloof baseline self he really cares about those two, to the point where he misses his own assignments in order to fix them up, and brings them along to help with some projects from time to time. however, his concern for others often leaves him distracted and vulnerable to attacks, usually resulting in quite a number of injuries that he needs help fixing.

SG Menasor: still created from earth vehicles, but is proud of his close association with the planet and is not afraid to admit it. really enjoys human culture and just being around others in general, with a special love for listening to the radio. quite the excitable, easygoing and extroverted mech, but has nerves of steel in an emergency situation. enjoys being on the road in decombined form and driving around earth, but is aware of his strength and the danger he poses to humans and their vehicles should he be reckless, so menas is quite aware of traffic laws in different places so he doesn't hurt humans. unfortunately, this level of cautiousness sometimes extends into the battlefield, where he would hold back his strength and speed by instinct, which often puts him on the defensive in a fight, especially against more aggressive opponents. he can hold his own, but his reluctance to unleash his full strength made him a target of mockery of the autobots and even irritates some decepticons, but he doesn't really care about what others think.

bonus fact: his level of cautiousness and unwillingness to crash into others got passed onto motormaster after fragmentation. just like Tinted Lenses sg motors not wanting to crash into others is an idea that got into my head one day and refused to leave.

SG Bruticus: the youngest of the trio (so far, again i may be bringing new teams to the AU) and very much looks up to the other two, which makes devastator and menasor quite protective of him. is really good at assessing a situation quickly and improvising on the go, and is surprisingly adept at managing logistics. is humble almost to the point of self deprecation, as bruticus feels like he can always do better and has lots to learn from others. socially awkward and speaks a lot less in public, often staying silent and clinging to either devs or menas, but is more comfortable with chatting with his brothers when it's just them in their own combiner base. not good at very complicated schemes and prefers more straightforward plans and actions. is also a very bad liar and easily folds under scrutiny, very vulnerable to pressure and taunts, often ends with bruticus distracted by the insults and requiring others, usually the other two, to assist him. is very self conscious about this fact and is trying to overcome this weakness.

Omw to make my own version of SG!Tarn.

Normal Tarn is: "Life has no meaning (devastated)", SG!Tarn is: "Life has no meaning (liberated)".

Technically he's a good guy (and a medic) but I need him to be visually intimidating and morally iffy. I want him to be mean and brash, and incredibly inelegant in the way he talks.

Hates fanatics, doesn't care about Megatron, dislikes paperwork/admin, listens to horrible music when he works (think Silent Hill metal drill type noise), but secretly dreams of being an opera singer...

hi! thanks for your lovely asks. cha eun woo looks like a soft dramatic to me! tall (6'0), but extra yin. much like bts' jin. chiseled bones, small waist, luscious face, T-silhouette: a narrow geometric structure as the base.

i can't see him as an FN or C as he is vertical-first like a Dramatic, not width-first or average height. the long monochrome D black look with sharp shoulders is right up his alley. in fact, anything else would be too short.

but imo he can do both, severe and dreamy aesthetic, unmoving vs flowing fabric. like christian bale, SD is a type walking between worlds, D and R, which is why they are often considered heartthrobs. but in an elegant, regal way, as they have long limbs and statue bodies.

i noticed that much like C men, SDs are often associated with romance cinema: they have soft faces that don't heavily contrast the usually (!) soft-subtyped or gamine female protagonist. SD can do glamor, sleek, decorum, something that's usually not associated with guys, but they pull it off.

the already fleeting veil between men's and women's fashion becomes thin with this image ID, which is why they fascinate as gnc icons. it's an especially celebrated type in SE Asian television, and historical film.

it bridges the gap and is more female gaze-heavy than casting an intimidating pure D or the obiquitous brawny, flexing, mud-covered FN as the lead. which, and that preceeds marvel, rather belongs to the action/superhero genre. to take an exaggerated example: basically, the N family on crack would be the expendables 😅

jokes aside: casting SD men as the lead still creates a height difference 9 times out of 10, though: they're not R types at a distance. SD is a tall sight. sharp yang is a towering, dignified 6'0+ figure (D always adds older age perception) — so, i would not entirely nominate them as the #1 pretty boys and luring heartthrobs. that would be, in my opinion:

soft gamine & theatrical romantic.

in our polarized world, i observe how they usually only show up when there's a yang counterpart involved. my theory is: you can find a Romantic type in the vicinity of any Natural, and if you want to find a Gamine, search for the Dramatic.

e.g. when the female movie protagonist is very yang like keira knightley or anne hathaway, the male is often more yin/gamin-ish: the gap is bridged, but still, they're two worlds. always contrasting essences in hollywood and beyond, rarely sameness. the bridgerton formula: total contrast. and nicola coughlan (pure R) is the heartthrob one here!

how female gaze male beauty is a balance act

in the long run however, female D types quizzically rule the romance genre. i guess it's because they break the often infantilizing "small, soft, R/G girl" uber-trope and covet the gentle yin and classic men, often far below 6'0, which are much more desirable than the "alpha v beta" status quo used or uses to admit. think 5'9 tom hardy's beautiful yin lips. who wouldn't want to kiss him? few would reject such a devastating smokeshow of a guy. he is gorgeous.

think D.O as an actor, he had people fawning. very yin 5'8 man. either soft gamine or pure romantic. silk and satin hanboks just look best on yin men.

james mcavoy is 5'7, for instance, and far from D and N, too. on eye level/small, hourglass + some extra sharpness. reddit consensus is, he's been typed into TR, SG, SC. in all cases, he is appealingly yin.

a complete turnaround of what our mainstream-influenced eyes expect. there is nothing yin about her, while he is both. subversion creates movies we can look at twice. it's no immediate clarity, no immediate stereotype that's quickly grasped. i think that's how the heartthrob factor is born: walking the tightrope of yin and yang. neither entirely different nor fully familiar.

TR is the true heartthrob archetype.

because he is both romantic and dramatic separately. not all mixed up (G) or blended (C). the dramatic current shows up in the face, making it 'feline'. that's how TR differs from gamine: G types have youthful, cuter/softer yin faces. a TR man is more mature. he is often portrayed as: "he tempts the same sex, and women celebrate his championing". another distinguishing factor: TR sometimes approaches average height due to a D undercurrent, or at least feels slightly taller (they never exceed 6'0). gamines are even shorter heartthrobs.

besides pure R, he's the only type of man that is almost fully yin unlike the androgynous gamine, and at the same time, carries the most yang undercurrent. i think that's the recipe for being a sex symbol: because you need tension for sex. TR is pure intrigue. his body invites. he's soft and beautiful, but never cross him.

i do think that much like male gamins, they are also stigmatized in almost all countries where strength and slenderness are socially glorified persona- and body-wise in men, still. R and TR men are often seen as stout, chubby and 'ugly', not masculine enough.

jimin dressed very casually/athletically after debut, like basketball player (= FN archetype). ultra tall, broad torso, radiates power and a sturdy physique... N is the opposite of R, twice the height and weight — R being small, rounded, curve-dominant. the jack and rose effect. even surgically, one could never be the other. it is day and night.

namjoon (FN) can't be the short and fatal TR scene stealer, while jimin would have a hard time becoming a huge 6'4 machine that's like a wall. and we wouldn't have it any other way to begin with. kibbe typing means crafting a personalized style with the 3D in front of our eyes, which is why this typology has helped a lot of people and remains timeless.

jimin's transformation visually — and his increase in popularity — is probably what kibbe meant by metamorphosis. coming into your own image by choosing an exterior that fits your body lines and communicates what your archetype represents, regardless of how 'masc' one is or what one does (e.g. jimin is a martial artist). it's more about immediate perception and harmonious dressing. TR just fits the "beautiful, proud, sexy prince" aesthetic the best.

just like namjoon was choosen to be the leader, not just because of his insane intellect but also/maybe because subconsciously, his FN image ID instills authority, respect, and robustness. our military-influenced global society equates height and muscle with hierarchy after all. kibbe picked up on those jungian body politics. doesn't mean being yang urges you to rule — what i convey here is just what is perceived based on cultural values.

but unlike D, the N family seems to be accessible, friendlier, and muscle-heavy masculinity, even in k-pop where gamines are the gold standard. shinee's leader onew, stray kids with chan, too. kang daniel back then as well. shownu, monsta X. all very blunt yang men of all subtypes. in kibbe, D is the most masculine, but in the world, N is.

that's why they are often presented as R's counterpart like beauty and the beast 😅 yin and soft yang are frequently paired, as they are similar in soft edges, but different in height and essence. FN sometimes comes with SG, but R hardly ever with D.

ironically, one usually dresses like the other. the rock FN is a yin dresser! he always has R, TR, and SD outfits on red carpets. he channels his opposite ID much like some Ds dress like a G would, and Gamines want to be Ds.

digressing again. so: some other kpop group leaders are gamines at best (GD, taeyong, s.coups). but its a consistent Natural type trend. the heartthrob is rarely the leader and often relegated to the dancer role (smaller height can facilitate movement, after all). and hell, they do it best. TR ten, best example.

since dance is closest to sex, i guess, and sex is ruled by yin according to the more outdated kibbe book. but i have to agree. nothing sexy about a spartan, dramatic structure. yin adds exciting curve that lets the eye trace. skz' dance line, for instance, are all yin subtypes. hyunjin: yin dramatic (tall height), lee know: yin classic (medium height), felix: yin gamin (small height). all with the super soft romantic undercurrent lips.

so, what a pattern! and TRs truly are the most provocative dancers of all, without even trying. think hwasa. gamines only break the rules, TR breaks AND heeds all the rules simultaneously, creating that whiplash.

imo that's why taemin's (TR) career took off when he adapted to that supposed N body benchmark and started bulking up his arms/shoulders to resemble an SN body more, eradicating all soft yin flesh with harsh exercise (though his face and waistline still gives it away just how R he is, and we know how yin his body gets when he doesn't work out).

it made him more yin AND soft natural yang rather than just mostly yin-leaning with a bit of D undercurrent; aka his narrow legs, sharp nose, prominent cheekbones. (k-)pop's reverence for gamines shows us that people crave more of that inherent contrast. many follow suit and re-shape their body in the gym. but TR is still a romantic first, which is why they are sadly more niche anyway. not to mention how fatphobic the whole gym/ozempic cultural shift has become once more. yin can't help being soft! doesn't make anyone less of a man.

the opposing tall, usually slender, shoulder-heavy FN image is the martial ideal worldwide, while TR is supposed to be the feminine, as per the kylie & kim body-mod influencing campaign. as soon as a guy enters that role: taboo homophobic red alert. but you can't fully change being born your own type. (whole family kardashian family is yang. kendall SD, khloe FN, kourtney FG...)

that all being said, that is how male SD, SC and SN become stand-ins for a more softened FN version as you mentioned, since they're yin subtypes and still perceived as taller, stronger, with less 'allowance/deviation' from the male ideal type. TR women are overly centered culturally and the sole surgical goal, TR men operate far outside the mainstream as the underdog (which creates their mystic sexual pull), much like the following ID, too:

where TR is the adult version (D undercurrent = looks over 20), SG is the more youthful variant (G + R = looks under 20), regardless of actual age. Gamin is always right on trend, or creating the next one, defiant, youth cultured, anti. ah yes, boy band culture. but elsewhere, SG men are niche or dismissed as quick fads, too, be it e-boys or fashion influencers, punks, rebels, rappers. yungblud is letting the SG flag fly!

SGs rose to more acclaim since you don't have to show your height on tiktok or youtube necessarily, avoiding the "no, girls must be the tiny ones" stigma, which only increases as our world becomes more right-wing and war-oriented recently. look at any propaganda poster of bygone times, the man of a regime is always towering. SG is the opposite: petite, compact, femme, pouty, and sweet as pie, even as they age.

like TRs, i feel SG men kind of become the butt of the joke often, as they are far below 5'10 and also commonly less slender due to yin's width/short bones — but they retaliate by never aging ever, and being able to charm people with their innocence. that whole "neotonous face" craze, it's all gamin characteristics. which is why they are the counterpart of the much more fear-inspiring, extremely tall Dramatics. SDs included!

so, funnily D and G almost always come as a combo. tall sharp and petite sharp. appears in pop culture over and over.

My biggest fear as a lightcannon shipper is riot throwing away Jinx's: is evident that I'm love with my best friend and I'm a queer mess out of the window because of how popular tb has become and SG skins selling like crazy or taking the: you are my most important person in the world and I can't do this without you Jinx from Lux because of riot's weird obsession with the blonde x blonde look alike ship ...like I'll be devastated 😞

To be honest, I didn't expect this drabble to end up have so many parts. But, oh well it's fun thing to make. [Part 1] [Part 2] [Part 3]

So, the scene where they escaping sub 50 wouldn't changed too much in SG. Except that the train where replaced with elevator to reach underworld city instead the surface (In this world the Iacon are in the surface) Elita still chase the trio, and end up dragged into their adventure.

The underworld city is more or less looks like this;

In their way, the convoy were facing with booby traps but succed on passing it nonetheless, Dee was wondering what kind of people installing these clever traps, but Elita answered that it doesn't make sense since there is no people living here.

Finally they reach the floor where there is something devastating under there.

Okay before we continue, I want to cross reference it with other series first so we can understanding the lore better.

Have you ever wonder why Megatron in TFP has his bucket head shape? Do you realise who else has that shapes of Buckethead?

The answers is the Vehicons! Yep, TFP Megatron was a Mining Vehicon under serial D-16 before he enter the Arena. That is why he called by his serial number in the book before he earn the name Megatronous.

And there is another fun fact, in G1 cartoon Sentinel is refered as the prime before Optimus AND the Guardian Robots equal in strength with Omega Supreme, even one of the toys of Sentinel Prime IS a repaint of Omega Supreme.

So crossing that reference, instead of a Prime, Sentinel in SG would be one of the Sentinel Robots. So we are going to use that.

Alright, lets get back to the track. So what the convoys found down there is a battleground with a lot of dead bodies, not sentient bodies, but insecticons (animals), sentinels (robots), and vehicons (drones).

Elita get devastated after passing one of the Arachnicon getting stabbed in it- "her" root mode. Also the scene where Dee found Megatronous head will be replaced by this one.

They didn't find the Matrix, but find something else; a still online Sentinel.

very rusty doodle, but wanted to try some shattered glass orion :3 i think orion would be falsely-noble and righeous, almost akin to sentinel, and primus (evil) would treat him as such with gifting him the matrix and giving him the constant jesus spotlight.

alright cool where do we start (pulls off my huge conspiracy board wall)

i wanna imagine that most events stayed the same. d16 and orion were good friends, orion was adventurous and d was sternly worried, but it starts getting strained as they go on their journey for the matrix. meet b127, join elita, then learn about the truth of iacon via sentinel prime (replacing trion) on how alpha trion is a false prophet.

instead of orion + gang crashing out right here, orion realizes that. huh. sure, trion kinda bad for caging them all up and forcing them to do this dirty work, but this leadership kept them afloat and all that power completely intoxicates orion for a minute. d16, very obviously, kinda hates that. why are we being put to work for trion's misdeeds? this is horrible, guys!! and orion only seems to yearn for that complete autocracy trion has and he wants for himself. after all, all those rebellious moves was him wanting to give himself more autonomy, more power, and here was a method that works.

they met the high guard, led by starscream who wants to put a stop to trion's tyranny, and d16's the only ones whos like "oh hell yeah im on board brother". maybe theres some sort of orion vs starscream fight here? but its more fuel to the fire for their relationship. something something this post on how d16 thinks hes the crazy one, something something.

jump cut to d16 fighting trion. hes rightfully furious at this all and wants him dead, and is even willing to kill him infront of all of iacon. orion stops him, saying how they can let him live, let him do the dirty work, but d16's now properly scared of his best friend. he cant let orion do this, he needs to make sure this all ends. it turns into a dpax fight, and when theyre not looking, d16 manages to kill trion, a strike from his canon. this completely infuriates orion, and he pulls out his axe to kill d16, but starscream (whos been assisting d16 the whole time) jumps out infront and takes the blow. d16's devastated and jumps after starscream's body that nearly falls into cybertron. holding his wrist, still seeing that hes holding on, d16 tries to pull him up when, in his moment of vulnerability, he's kicked. orion pax, his best friend, kicks him and starscream into the inner gore of their planet, plummeting towards the unforgiving primus.

the bystanders of iacon doesnt see this. they can only see so much from their angle, and when orion steps back, all they see is a bot, energon-splattered and shaken from the attempt on his life. so, what does he do? he paints on the most pathetic, worry-stricken face when he turns to his people, voice wracked with grief when he woes on the horror that unfolded before him. when d16 falls through cybertron, holding onto starscream and trying to find leverage on the edges of iacon's structure, orion rises, taking trion's matrix from his chest and tells the people of iacon that he will make sure he leads everyone into a brighter future, one rid of these animalistic lowly bots. and when he replaces his cog, speaks to his people, and sings of his future, primus makes sure to cast a brilliant spotlight on him, as if a new savior truly has arrived.

just before he can completely level all of iacon, megatron rises from the pits, armed with ratbat, and sets to finally take down optimus prime and stop this. unfortunately, optimus is simply too strong with the matrix, and hes forced to retreat with whats left of starscream, and the high guard. aaaaannnnnddd now SG TFO is just optimus leading millions of autobots under his leadership, unknowing of his betrayal, and a new group of decepticons trying to stop them once and for all.

The ideas were so original and they paid attention to every little detail, the zombies looked cool and terrifying and Gong Yoo absolutely slayed his role as Seok-woo, a (recently) single father who's just trying to survive on a train, surrounded by fucking ZOMBIES, while taking his DAUGHTER to Busan via train to meet with his ex-wife and hoping they'd survive and AAAAAAAAH this movie killed me. That was the first night I used my Beauty of Joseon Eye Revival Cream and I BAWLED MY FUCKING EYES OUT BECAUSE OF THIS MAN. It was so fucking unfair. I'll never recover from it. I am still absolutely devastated.

But at the same time, I'm only singing praises. He was amazing!

Now I'm watching a show called Tokkebi: The Lonely and Great God. Each episode is longer than an hour and his character is this immortal being who can only be freed by the "Goblin's bride". I love this show. Only three episodes in, but I'm pretty sure it's going to break my heart again, but because of some very funny circumstances, he has to tolerate a Grim Reaper in his home and THEY'RE SO FUCKING COOL YOUR HONOUR!!!!!!!! There was one scene in which they both set out to save somebody and. Just. A Goblin has basically godlike powers. And at some point he's teaming up with that Grim Reaper. Just. The ideas. I love that. I dig it so much. 😭 (His character is often a little shit and the Grim Reaper is absolutely exhausted 99% of the time, the dynamics are so great and and funny and it's really entertaining to watch!)

i just took my final ancient greek exam of the semester yesterday and have been avoiding studying for my microbiology exam all day. so let's talk about these three devastating lines from anne carson's translation of herakles

and by talk about i mostly mean here's a bunch of different translations

Theseus Stop! Give [your] hand [to me], [your] servant [and] friend. 

*more literally: Stop! Give [your] hand to a servant/helper [and] friend.

* Ancient Greek uses different punctuation, though the : symbol is used roughly the same way as it is in English and exclamation points are not used, verb conjugation in English does not differentiate the imperative mood, which παῦσαι (sg.2.aor.imperat.med-pass) is in, and often the way we show imperative mood in written English is with an exclamation point. 

-The word δίδου (sg.2.praes.imperat.act.) is also imperative. 

-παῦσαι is said in reference to Herakles’ earlier lines, lamenting his - well, the plot of Herakles.

* The particle δὲ has been omitted from the translation. It’s usually translated as but, and, or then. 

* The possessive pronoun your - σός - does not appear but is implied.

* χεῖρ᾽ is the short version of χειρός - hand

* ὑπηρέτῃ φίλῳ are both nouns in dative, here answering the question to whom? The word and - καί - does not appear between the two, likely because poetic language. The word ὑπηρέτῃ can also mean rower, an underling, servant, attendant, assistant, and is often translated here as helper. The word φίλῳ is a form of φίλος - friend, loved, beloved, dear

Herakles No, lest I wipe off blood on your garments.

* Word order changed slightly. The first word is ἀλλ᾽ - poetically shortened version of ἀλλά - usually translated as but, however, here: lest.

* ἐξομόρξωμαι (sg.1.aor.med-pass.) means wipe off or wipe away, but stain is, in my opinion, not an inaccurate translation in regards to the meaning conveyed.

* πέπλοις means any woven cloth, here usually translated as garments, robes or clothes. 

* αἷμα means blood and is grammatically either nominative or accusative, probably accusative, μὴ means not and σοῖς is a second person possessive pronoun in plural dative.

Theseus Wipe it off, spare naught: I [do] not refuse [you].

* ἔκμασσε (sg.2.praes.imperat.act.) - wipe it off - is imperative again, so is φείδου (sg.2.praes.imperat.med-pass.) - spare.

* μηδέν I translated as naught as in nothing, οὐκ means not

* ἀναίνομαι is in sg.1.praes.ind. - so present tense would be the most literal translation, ie. I do not refuse you, but the meaning might best be conveyed in English with the use of future tense, ie. I will not refuse you. The word can also mean reject, deny, renounce and disown, or be ashamed. Possible other translations: I don’t deny you; I won’t reject you; I am not ashamed; I won’t renounce you.)

That's all on Herakles, the rest is me rambling about Ancient Greek grammar for interested parties (mostly myself). If I could put a second cut here, I would.

Some further notes on the grammatical cases and verb conjugation. You'll have noticed that I've followed verbs with parentheses with some abbreviations. I'll break those down a little for those not in the know: unlike English, Ancient Greek has different endings to denote the person in verb conjugation - 1.sg being first person singular as in I, and so on with 2.sg - you, 3.sg he/she/singular they, 1.pl - we, 2.pl - plural you, 3.pl - plural they. There's also technically an extant dual form in some texts (when speaking of a pair of two) but it's rare. Ancient Greek conjugation also varies a lot by the temporal tense, the ancient greek times are present (praesens - praes.), future (futurum and futurum III), imperfect (imperfectum), strong and weak aorist (aor. - this one doesn't exist in any modern languages and is a bit of a jeremy bearimy but is usually translated as either present or past, depending on the context), perfect (perfectum), and pluperfect (pluscuamperfectum) - all of these except imperfect and pluperfect (which only have indicative forms) then have various forms - indicative (ind.), infinitive (inf.), imperative (imperat.), optative (opt.) and conjunctive (coni.). Verbs also have an active (act.) and middle and passive or active and mediopassive (med-pass.) form, except some verbs only have mediopassive versions and are thus translated as either active or mediopassive depending on the context. This is as complicated (and fun!) as it sounds. (editors note: the fun! was not sarcastic - i am a medstudent who hasn't had to take two semesters worth of classes on this, nor do i have to keep taking ancient greek next semester but i'm going to)

Nouns in Ancient Greek also have grammatical cases, nominative, genitive, dative, accusative and vocative, as do adjectives. They also have genders, and adjectives of course have positive, comparative and superlative (good, better, best) forms.

Ancient Greek also uses a lot of participles, which is like a noun-ified verb. Participles are also a concept in English, just - a lot simpler in English, and also I think in English a participle is a verb that has some characteristics of an adjective or noun, whereas in Ancient Greek participles and verbal adjectives are separate concepts. Participles are derived from verbs and have the same grammatical cases as nouns, nominative, genitive, dative, accusative and vocative, and singular and plural versions, and have three genders, masc., fem. and neut. - they also have active and mediopassive forms, and differ based on the temporal conjugation of the verb, retaining its augment, reduplication, characteristic added letters (for example σ in the future tense, and θη + σ in the passive future) or lack thereof, also they can have different endings or roots based on the tense. So, yeah, "conjugate and translate this verb in part.fut.pass.sg.masc.gen. and II aor.part.act.sg.acc.fem." is what a test question might look like at my level of studying ancient greek.

Sentence constructions also differ from English, some of the most common ones are AcI, NcI, genitivus absolutus. accusativus duplex and nominativus duplex. They also will often skip words (particularly the verb to be they often deemed unnecessary) and poetic language is its own can of worms with its own theoretical dialects and prosody.

All of this is like, barely scratching the surface, there's also a bunch of different dialects, stuff varies by era, all of the noun cases have like, a Bunch of different uses, and it's all terribly interesting.

combiners/gestalts (term used interchangeably) start off as one consciousness that can both function as an independent (albeit really big) transformer and coordinate its separate components in some sort of hivemind

HOWEVER overtime the components start developing their consciousness and personalities. Neither gestalts in either faction are aware of this potential development and they are freaking out their body parts attempting to communicate. Chaos ensues.

there is a lot more to this AU like the fact that Devastator was essentially created from the Constructicons' corpses but like. that's the core concept.

oh yeah and i made an SG version as well running on the same lore but with sg characterizations for characters involved. because a good section of my brain permanently houses plot bunnies and i had a vision of sg defensor being creepy.
