sorry for the lack of tf art, I’m busy with a bunch of stuff. But anyways here is the stuntecons! So basically they’re a very messy family as motormaster is their dad, he split his spark and those shards became his kids. He did it to become more powerful but he didn’t realise that he also had to take care of them.
Stunticons and Menasor (2022)
The other combiner team redesign i did. I actually finished the combined mode for Menasor. Menasor's design is inspired by the IDW 1 run, For All Mankind era
Story - Josh van Reyk
Art - Sterling Gee
Letters - HdE
wada sez: At last, the big reveal! The Stunticons are trapped in their own minds, thanks to the inhibitor programs installed by the Contructicons. With the force of will needed to dominate, Motormaster has ended up commanding the gestalt, overcoming the usual self-doubt that cripples combiners. The Autobots fighting Drag Strip are revealed to be some aspect of the minds of his teammates, with the specific identities matching up with the cartoon episode “Masquerade”, where the Autobots posed as the Stunticons. The voice heard by Breakdown is revealed to be that of the Constructicons, discussing the experiment from the outside. Evidently, Sterling Gee did not get the memo that Marshall was using the Generation 2 color scheme for Sideswipe. Note that in the second part HdE has rendered Menasor’s dialogue boxes using little squares with the team members’ colors, in contrast to Motormaster’s normal speech boxes; I wonder if this is meant to imply that the other team members have influenced the combiner after all? I also wonder if the idea is that the name “Menasor” is a portmanteau of the insults “Menace” and “Monster” heard by Motormaster in his pages.
Existing characters who have the potential to be Terrans headcanon:
The Protectobots - adopted/mentored by existing doctor character(s) ex. June Darby.
The Stunticons - RiD2015 version likely since Earthspark already has Breakdown.
The Aerialbots - mentored by pilots/soldiers ex. Agent Fowler, Agent Burns & Marissa Fraireborn.
Sunstorm - Born in a radioactive place on Earth that causes he himself to be radioactive.
Nightbird - taken in by a scientist who never sees Transformers as sentient beings, thus she lacks emotion because she gets zero empathy from her caretaker.
Well it’s April and Stunticon week 2024 is June 16th- 22nd, I adding firey am letting you vote on the theme since it worked so well for Constructicon week!
Y’all pick the theme I pick the 6 words (there will be a free space). Final words will be posted about May 12th ish
I’m giving Knockout his own day as well if that has any bearing on your choice but it’s most the the Menasor combiner Stunticons otherwise
He'd absolutely hate it if you liked this pic... cause that would mean you've been watching him... and he's been right this entire time! It's not paranoia if they really ARE out to get you!
Dear Vector Prime, Have you ever been to the DW Universe? If yes, may I ask if you’ve know about or encounter with Stunticons and Aerialbots when they’re young? I’m just wondering where they came from and what they were doing before the war. Because they’ve been existed for a long time compared to G1 cartoon and G1 Marvel Universe. Thank you for your answer!
Dear Curtailed Combiner,
After the Crisis Intervention Accords were ratified by all major factions on Cybertron, all Special Teams were forbidden to combine, lest the planet be destroyed in the ensuing carnage. This caused a rift among the Aerialbots; Air Raid, Fireflight, and Slingshot felt they had a right to combine. Silverbolt expressly disagreed with this, and so the other three called him a coward who was afraid of his own power, even his own ability to fly! They abandoned Silverbolt, and Skydive sadly joined them at Silverbolt's urging to serve as a voice of reason.
The Stunticons instead sought to sell Menasor at a premium—violating the Crisis Intervention Accords was a challenge for them, not a deterrent. Claiming they were on Starscream's Predacon faction, they combined into Menasor and overwhelmed Grimlock's Lightning Strike Coalition. As things became dire for Grimlock's team, their savior arrived—Superion!
Their battle was brief, but cataclysmic, and although they emerged victorious, the other Aerialbots realized Silverbolt’s hesitation was not cowardice, but wisdom.
After Menasor was defeated, Motormaster and Dead End escaped—formally joining Starscream’s team for protection against the other factions—while the other three Stunticons were captured and imprisoned. Silverbolt knew that he had performed an illegal combination, but for the right reasons, and despite the thanks from the Autobots and the L.S.C., the Aerialbots exiled themselves from Cybertron as per the Accords.
Much later, when Optimus Prime prepared to flee Cybertron with a group of Autobots, he granted a reprieve to the Aerialbots, who joined him and eventually ended up on Earth.
