Intrigued by Mairon, who is a Maia instead of an Elf like her, she keeps coming by to visit him throughout the years, and he visits her family, too. They develop a fast friendship, but the older Artanis becomes, the harder it is to remain just friends.

Sam/Cam? i dont ship them but would love to hear your thoughts. also Tod/John? i ship them :)

until recently i never even considered Sam/Cam in a romantic relationship, which is mostly because I hadn't watched S9 and S10 of SG-1 in a while (rn i'm on season 9) and Cam wasn't a character that had really stood out to me.

Upon rewatching SG-1's later seasons I realized that the reason why I didn't really have a lot of strong feelings towards him was because I was still sad that Jack left and I felt like Cam was trying to fill his spot as in copying him, ya know? Which, he doesn't. I think they did a good job creating a new character who, yes, followed Jack's position, but who was his own character with his own leadership (hehe) and his own dynamic with the team.

I was peeved by the fact that he was so close with SG-1 so quickly, while the OG team had years and years to get to know each other and to get attached to each other.

As a hardcore Sam/Jack shipper I was also peeved that we got hugs and even a Sam/Cam kiss in "Unending" even if it's (imo) a platonic kiss, while us Sam/Jack shippers... nope, i won't go down this road now.

Tbh, I don't really see it. I like their friendship, I like how they co-lead SG-1 (yes they do), and how that they are equals. We don't see a lot of friendships/relationships between military personnel of the same rank, right? so that's new, and it's kinda refeshing.

Todd/John is a big nope for me, sorry. Mostly because I can't really get past the "wraith eat humans" thing and i can't really see how a relationship would work out when one partner constantly wants to eat the other. as in... actually feeding from them.
