Because they could've taken the easy way out and... Anyways, funny thing is… LCD F!Leo was a good parent. He was a good person. That’s why it was so hard for Casey Jr to let go of F!Leo, and why it was so hard for Casey Jr to understand F!Leo’s actions. A long time ago, F!Leo was good. But as time went on the apocalypse, as not only the resistance died but his family, he lost that more and more parts of the good in him. What software do you use for your Mmd? Are you using just Miku miku Dance? Because Your mmd 3d model and shading is SOO GOOD.

TLDR: Models from Mihoyo, Shading from Manashiku Shader for MMEffect.

Long Answer: It's just MMD with MMEffect for the models.

For the shading, it's from Manashiku Shader, and that's the reason why the Genshin Models look as good as they do, since it's specifically designed for Genshin Models to look like their ingame selves!

It takes a LOT of setup since you have to edit the model yourself and replace textures with lightmaps, find out if anything's glitching, then pray to god that it's 1 to 1 without worrying about what specifically is going wrong.

It's also touched up with some photoshop for the text, effects like outline or fading, and the backgrounds themselves are pulled from Genshin ingame.

I.E: The Blog's Header image

The models are from Mihoyo themselves, shading is the Manashiku, background is from an ingame area, the text is Genshin's official font downloaded into my computer, and an assload of photoshop editing effects like Smoke, shadows, lens flares, vignette, etc.

For each character, they're a separate layer so I can edit them individually to make them look better, adjust certain poses if something's off, play with perspective, and a lot of other boring stuff.

Plus if we're simping for the pretty ladies, I gotta make them look pretty, and sometimes MMD and the shaders fight me on that where a texture starts glitching.

If some of y'all wonder why some posts have 3D renders and some don't this is primarily why: it takes a WHILE.
