I think Prime should've ended the same way as Monsters INC.

You have Sonic get back to Green Hill, sees his friends again, Shadow yoinks the Prism, etc. just like in the actual show.

The last scene starts out the same. Sonic is out having fun with his friends on the beach. They chat a little. Maybe establish that Sonic's already told them what happened with the Shatterverse.

And then Shadow shows up. He's kinda hanging on the sidelines, but Sonic spots him and tells his friends he'll be back in a bit. He goes to talk to Shadow. Shadow has a surprise for him, but he's secretive about it. He takes Sonic a out a little bit away from everyone.

I don't know exactly how he does it. Maybe he uses Chaos Control, or maybe he's able to use just a bit of the Prism's energy without destroying anything. But Shadow's figured it out. He grabs Sonic arm and teleports them into the Void between the Shatterspaces.

You can see it on Sonic's face. He's about to cry. He thought... he thought he'd lost everyone. That he'd never had a chance to see them again. He hugs Shadow. Then he runs off across the Void. The screen goes dark.

Then, you hear Nine's voice.

"Sonic?"

Sonic laughs. "Missed you, bud."

And the credits roll.

people saying that it's ridiculous for sonadow fans to be "eating good" from the sonic prime ep bc most of the ep was them beating up e/o just don't get it. where do you think the appeal is coming from ?

everyone is always making sonic a pegasus or a unicorn in their sonic characters as mlp characters art. but im an earth pony sonic believer forever i don't care what anyone says

#its because sonic is just some guy. whos super powerful for seemingly no reason #so i think its fitting that hes the most ''basic'' species #id argue that hedgehogs are the most basic species in sonic too #like yeah most of the hedgehogs we see are like ridiculously powerful or are special for some reason #but . theyre just such a common species across the cast #not saying every hedgehog character would be an earth pony though. i think sonic and amy make sense as earth ponies #but silver would be a unicorn for sure #and shadow i think should probably be an alicorn since hes the ultimate lifeform and all #maybe in mlp universe he can still be artificially created #like isnt the way it works that youre either born an alicorn because one of your parents is one (like flurry heart)#or one of the existing alicorns decided that you deserve to be made into one or whatever (like twilight and cadance)#maybe some people decided they wanted to figure out how to make alicorns on their own #and thats how shadow was created #idk. im just throwing ideas around

thinking about the sonic 2 premiere i went to alone, at like 3pm (it was def early afternoon but not sure when) with just like 5 other people in the room (moms with kids) and how everyone left before the credits ended and i was sitting there Gripping the fuck out of the seat in front of me after the whole movie and then seeing post creds shadow i yelled (quietly) (sorry to the staff guy coming in to clean) it was the best movie experience ive ever had cant believe its been almost 2 years now

also the very next day i went to see it again with a friend to show him what the fuck i just saw and also make sure what i saw was actually real and not a daydream

#what i wish fnaf was like #rewatched the movie so many times most of it doesnt feel good anymore and i cringe hard at some spots #but it has amazing scenes still. ofc all the stob ones (which killed me in the cinema) but also the super sonic ending ate #the tails scenes were kinda ass and the humans are so so #i liked the wedding scene when i first saw it but i do agree it was too long. it should be about furry aliens and not random ppl #unless its stone #also toms actor i forgot your name but youre not all that im sorry. the gag reel of him dancing i could do without it thx #i hope jim comes back one last time and they work with shadow somehow but there should also be a big threat #thinking about chaos would be cool. im also expecting chaos emeralds collecting #if its meant to be a trilogy and then a wrap up they need to go out with a bang #buut i feel like they could do more mini series after like knuckles (if it ever sees the light of day) or make spinoffs #a shadow spinoff of him looking for his past would literally write itself honestly #they could do less of the humans and not focus on robotnik and stuff maybe even do some portal traveling off earth

So yesterday i randomly remembered this one day where my dad was flipping channels and i overheard a comedy bit that went something like "spanish is such a sexy language. sonic IDW 61 spoilers in the tags

#gotta agree with the general opinion ive been seeing that this past arc was quite disappointing #there were too many ideas being tossed around that couldnt fit into the pacing #the premise could have easily been as dire as say the stakes in frontiers for example #but the dire problems that arose were solved with 1-2 panels and made it seem like “oh jk we're good now”#ie. sonic got trapped in that warp trap but was freed like literally a page later i think #ive seen others point out the discontinuity of shadow using chaos control after getting overworked by the fake gems #he really pulled the I AM THE ULTIMATE PROTAGONIST buff to make it work huh #i think this arc should have been as long as the metal virus arc to really capture everything they wanted to do with it #instead we got unfinished/half-baked character “growth” from everyone #i wonder if they originally planned much more for this arc but had to cut it for some reason #it feels choppy in the way that the ending of frontiers was choppy like things were obviously removed last-minute #ranting in tags bc my thoughts are not organized enough to write a proper post lol #im glad this arc is over tho cus tbh i think IDW comics should focus on plotlines that dont “feel” like they belong in the mainline games #this arc was ambitious and suffered bc of lack of audience interaction which could be filled in by gameplay #the comics get their audience interaction from exploring character strengths and weaknesses #anyway yeah. glad this arc is over. looking forward to the new arcs #mandokusai
