Villain headcanons I may possibly share soon

So, while I’ve been doing other things and been to hyper fixated on Adam and my oc x canon ship…. And while I don’t really want to get into another fandom discourse, but my post somewhat kind of falls under it (I’m not gonna go depth)

Lately I keep seeing a discourse and war between Stella Stans and Valentino Stans that made me go 🙃🙃🙃

But you know what? Instead of getting into it, I do want to have my own thoughts on them as well as the villains of the Helluverse as a whole.

Please don’t hate me for this, but I actually like Stella and the Vees…. BUT I do have an issue with them coming off too cartoonishly evil. (The Vees I’ll cut slack since we are gonna get more of them in season 2)

I was a bit disappointed with how season 2 depicted Stella very one note since I like to see her side of the story of the arrangement. But I also don’t think she’s this OwO badly misunderstood softgirl baby like her Stans make her out to be. She’s still a classist snobby rich lady that oppressed people, even in season 1 with how she abused that imp and threw at Stolas.

This is also kind of how I feel about Valentino in a way too…. While I do think it’s hilarious he’s a piss baby, I worry about him and the Vees getting a similar treatment to Stella. Like yeah he’s a 🍇ist but people like that can still have depth… I mean look at Griffith from Berserk.

That being said, I actually got inspired by Tik Tok blog that did share so many interesting headcanons for Stella and the Vees. And horror movies like American Psycho was inspiring me ideas for headcanons.

I think a common writing flaw I noticed with both shows is they make abusers so cartoony but not showing the charisma to them. Though we sort of saw that with Mammon and it’s why he’s been a favorite villain of mine so far. Abusers can be charamistic and can be nice it victims, and I wish we saw that with Stella and Val.

Anyways, I had came up with headcanons and my own take on their backstories. (I know I have so much for Vox I wanna share)

But I want to ask… which villain study do you guys want to hear from me first? (btw I’m sorry I don’t have anything for Velvette yet, I promise I’ll get to her soon. I just need to brainstorm more for her )

So just a short recap of previous lore, not too in detail:

Zee is Sou's younger brother (in this rp, Sou is transfem btw!). He kinda idolized her growing up, even agreeing to work at Asu-Naro but in his late teens he kinda realized. How bad she was.

As soon as she turned 18 he dyed his hair black and moved out, trying his best to hide his identity but obv it got out lol.

More recent stuff:

Zee is Not Doing Well since his sister died (Shin ended up killing her, tbh i dont remember why ive slept since then DSLKJ). Right before, he graduated college to go from working as an assassin to a biomedical engineer at Asu-Naro. Once he learned that Shin was the one to kill her, he kinda. Attempted to kill him. He made a poisonous medicine. Shin lived. I think after that, Zee left the cult Veritas Aurora and completely devoted himself to Asu-Naro. He works with Kaiser @ ask-thealchemist i believe it is to prepare for the next death game.

But like Zee's mental state has been getting worse and worse. He was extremely unstable, he threatened to kill Shin at least one other time. But it got Bad and he ended up cutting his arm off (he has a doll replacement). He was having Shin get rid of the evidence bc he couldn't do it himself and I think thats when Shin kinda. Sibling adopted him? That was a little bit ago. But afterwards his mental health was starting to get better.

Then.. Misty (aka Mars, or Mist-Shift) died. She was someone Zee was close to, one of his adoptive siblings. So then his mental health tanked again. After learning this, he grabbed some stuff and ran away from his home.

If you want to see the most recent Lore Video i made, i believe its under the hashtag 'lore'? ive made 3 videos but the other two are a little older ehe, theyre around when Zee started making the medicine that he ended up using to poison Shin.

Anyways long story short he ended up cutting his leg off. Shin found him (Zee was Not There Mentally and gave the poor man a concussion SDLKJS), he and Keiji got him to the hospital. He's doing a little better, but he's still a little unstable.

His current situation is technically at the hospital rn I believe? Shin is also there, Keiji is in the lobby last I was told. He's planning on staying at Shin's place for awhile until his mental health is better.

His normal residence is an apartment, nothing fancy.

A few other Fun Facts owo bc this is my Main Oc rn so I wanna ramble since i have the opportunity.

So when he worked as an assassin he actually would. Dress feminine to lure targets in. It was originally a little joke but fuck it, its canon now. People with a gaydar would often call him a lesbian. No honey, you got the gay in the wrong direction SDLKJD.

He has a tad bit obsessive boyfriend. Just a smidge obsessive. Yup. Nothing more. But its not Toxic, more just Clingy.

I absolutely fucking LOVE the symbolism im trying to make between Zee and Sou and im very happy its kinda working out

idk if ive said this but. zee doesnt honestly HATE Sou. most of it is surface level. like yes sou did some Bad Shit, but shes still his sister. he's angry he never got to reconcile with her.

last thing i think: theres this niftly little guy, the Zee AI back from when he was 12. He's currently with Shin right now, and he's besties with the Riley AI. his at is zee-ai I believe?

Hey! I don’t think I’ve ever posted my OCs for @shima-draws ’s Among the Stars... :0c

Well, it’s been a while since I last drew her, and she desperately needed an upgrade, so here’s Diana, the icy assassin of the Saphir Guild!

Her info’s under the cut if you wanna read!

Okay! In the world of AtS, Diana is a water elemental who specializes in ice! She  is the oldest of two sisters, her younger sister being Luna (who also needs a redesign), a darkness elemental. Together, they’re part of an evil guild that I have yet to name!

One day, Diana and Luna are assigned to wreak havoc at a conference. Buuut the plan goes horribly wrong, and when the building is finally bombed, Diana gets left behind. A nearby guild, the Saphir Guild, investigates and finds Diana in the rubble. They take her in, and once they find out she’s a water elemental, they ask her to join! Diana’s not planning on joining them, but as soon as she finds out that they’re after her evil guild, she decides to stick around, at least until she can run back to her own guild.

Well, uh, those plans fall through because the Guildmaster’s daughter, a psychic named Raisa (who ALSO needs a redesign), finds out that Diana was behind the bombing from before (and a lot of other crimes) and threatens to turn her in if she betrays the Saphir Guild. Diana begrudgingly agrees to stay.

The Diana you see now is after she’s been with the Saphir Guild for a few months! She’s grown to like the friendly, homey atmosphere here, though she doesn’t show it. The ribbon she’s wearing is actually a gift from Raisa! And so are the sapphire earrings, typically worn by members of the Saphir Guild, especially those who are proud to be part of the guild owo

Personality-wise, she’s the kind of person who doesn’t tolerate screwing around and gets the job done. She takes things way too seriously and can’t seem to relax for the life of her, and she usually hangs out in her little corner. Figuratively speaking, it’ll take a while to thaw her out, but once she’s melted, she’ll happily accept invitations to things. And sometimes she can give you advice when you ask for it :)

There are others besides Diana, but... I’ll save them for another time ;)

SO! A little follow up of that post I made with now Siricia! She's based on a python skull and this time it was the complete contrary of the cheetah skull one. Basically I just tried to expand the brain cavity and changed the eye sockets shape and size but that's it, the rest is more or less the same as a classic python since Siricia's design looks really similar to the animal.

Not sure I did the skull shape and détails correctly because honestly snakes skulls are so intricately detailed and hard to understand but either way it helped a bit to see how she would function and live.

Yeah I wanna do the same with all my other OC and not just the furry ones OwO✨🔥

"And this?" Yazakh ran a finger over Balam's thumb, gently tracing the still-white scar running over it. It was light, shallow and small enough to suggest only a minor injury.

Unlike their own battle scars, weathered and calloused and deep from many, many years on the field, the small nicks and lines on Balam's dark brown skin told different stories- pleasant ones- of her passion, of her mischief, of her lively, impulsive recklessness, of her wit and curiosity and her love for adventure, all of which Yazakh never failed to find disarmingly attractive.

By now, they knew most of them by heart. The one on the side of her stomach, from a bar brawl in Macawi, the one above the Naaley tattooed on to her ankle, a bite from an elusive sea monster from when she'd gone diving for pearls on her sister’s birthday. The one just over her left shoulder was an unfortunate encounter involving Asra and a horde of land sharks, the one a few inches below her tattooed forearm, a souvenir from carrying out a swordfight with table knives over a bet.

The one on her thumb was no different- and when she wasn't wearing her bronze ring over it, she made no move to cover it up, either.

And so when Yazakh asked, they did not see a reason that it would be any kind of tale other than the kind that they'd sometimes ask her to tell just so they could listen to her narration dissolve into fits of her delighted laughter.

But this time, instead of brightening, Balam fell silent, and her smile instead of widening, faded. 

“Balei?” They called, gently. “You do not have to-“

“No, I will.” Balam tried to smile, again. “I um-“ She sat up then, her head against their chest. “It’s not like it’s a secret, but-“ She shrugged, turning back to glance at the silent understanding in their warm amber eyes. “It’s just not fun. But I’ll tell you, Yazakh. I want to.”

Yazakh stroked over that small scar, their callouses more familiar to her than the lines on her own palm.

“I wish I could say I was a kid,” Balam began, “But I wasn’t. It was the first time I went back home after I came to Vesuvia- I was happy, you know, excited, even. My parents loved that I was learning magic- and I thought they were happy, too. But as it turned out,”She sighed, worrying the tassels on her shawl with her fingers. “They weren’t.”

There was a short silence, as Balam watched Aaromal curl into a pile of coils by the window. Yazakh wrapped their other arm around her, tracing over the tattoo just beneath her ribs and the hem of her blouse- inked in fiery gold- Lionheart.

Balam smiled softly, nuzzling into their touch, and went on. “I wasn’t making progress fast enough for them. I’ve told you how they were- I was still learning magic but they- you know, wanted more. Always. They always wanted more.”

Yazakh nodded, with a sigh that spoke more than words could, and Balam drew her knees to her chest. Picking up a small gulmohar flower that had floated through the window to land at Balam’s feet, they tucked it into her fluffy black hair.

“I could tell, straight away, that they were upset with me.” She continued. “From the moment they received me at the door, I could tell. They always keep things quiet for the first couple days, but I have these instincts- and I was just waiting for it to blow up. And- ” Unconsciously, as though seeing something else, she looked down at that seemingly innocuous scar. “We had a fight, a couple days in. My mother was giving me the usual laundry list of everything wrong with me, telling me I was slacking off because I found friends, lovers- I was sleeping too much- you know, nothing out of the ordinary.” She bit her lip, frowning. “I guess I made the mistake of standing up for myself instead of lying my way out of it- anyway-“ She rolled her eyes. “She started crying.”

Yazakh laid their hands on her shoulders. “Was it she who-“

“No,” Balam’s voice cracked, but she steadied herself easily enough. “It was Baba.”

Oh.

That was worse.

“You know those um-“ She shuddered, and they laced their fingers through hers. “The big old wrenches they use back home to snap off lobster claws?” She didn’t wait for them to respond, but squeezed their hands, steeling herself. “Baba held my thumb in one of those, and said he was going to um-“ She shut her eyes, took a deep breath, and opened them again. “To snap all my fingers off- one by one. Said the gods needn’t have bothered giving me hands if I don’t intend to work with them.”

Yazakh closed both their hands around her scarred one, as though shielding it from the weight of the years between then and now. As though if they could, they would have reached out beyond then to take her hands just so, shield it, and her, from harm. They dropped their head, kissed her cheek. “Balei,” they breathed, and nothing more.

“Fuck, I really thought he was going to do it.” Balam muttered. “Baba doesn’t fuck around. Especially if my mother’s involved.” Narrowing her eyes, she glowered at the curtains. “I should’ve punched him, fought something back, but-“ She let out a breath, wilting. “But it hurt so much that I just broke down and begged. I said “Baba, please stop, it’s me, Thejas.”

She blinked away the tears that threatened to escape the corners of her eyes, and swallowed hard. “Anyway. He held it there until I bled, and then- maybe he reconsidered, maybe he wasn’t going to do it at all in the first place, but-“ She sniffled. “But that was the last time I ever called myself that name.”  She swept a curl away from her shining eyes. “I changed it right after. Didn’t feel safe in it anymore.”

For a beat, nothing happened, while Yazakh waited for her to go on if she had to. And then, they turned her around and pulled her to their chest, one arm secure around her waist, drawing her impossibly close, impossibly safe, and the other hand still clinging to hers, gently, gently still stroking over the scar.

They were silent still, but their heart, picking up pace and hammering beneath Balam’s ear pressed to their chest, betrayed their agitation. As though this tiny mark on her skin, this little souvenir of the litany of needling humiliations and petty cruelties she’d sustained, they wore heavier than the story they’d told her of themself, recounting loss and war and displacement without so much as a waver in their voice.

As though the thought of her pain was pain itself to them.

Balam sighed into their shirt, lifted her free hand to gently touch their cheek. “Yaz,” she pressed a kiss to the hand still holding hers. “I’m okay. Really.”

They said nothing, but drew the rest of her on to their lap, their heart still racing.

“It’s just a scar,” Balam told them. “It healed. It’s over. You know how it goes.”

They shook their head, and repeated her name again, like they were holding its very syllables close to them too, where noone could hurt it. “Balei.”

Balam smiled, softly. “I’m okay, kanmani.” She repeated. “They can’t get to me anymore. I’m safe.”

“You are.” They said, finally, their voice wrapping over her like a weighted blanket. “I will keep you safe. I must. I-”

“Okay,” Balam whispered, curling into them as a weight lifted off her shoulders. Being protected was something she was still getting accustomed to, and on occasion, it still caught her off guard. “We can just lie down and be mad at my family.” She mumbled into their chest, the corners of her lips twitching up into that familiar smile, fond and playful.“I do that all the time.”

TOMIOKA GIYUU: Water Hashira. Lost his parents, older sister and best friend to demons. Depression given human form, cursed with a resting b*tch face, completely lacking in self-awareness and has no idea how to interact with people ( often resulting in him unintentionally insulting them? whoops ). He hates speaking unless he absolutely has no other choice, would literally give his life to protect the Kamado siblings ( don’t test him!!! ). Created his own unique style, “Lull”. Surprisingly kind and lowkey empathetic deep beneath his blank exterior. Has a soft spot for siblings, especially sisters, mildly projecting his own feelings onto them. Values the lives of others well above his own. Views himself as an eyesore, unworthy of his status despite his strength. Keeps others at arm’s length because of this. Quietly sentimental, his haori acting as a physical reminder of the loved ones he lost. Likes animals, but they don’t like him. Basically, he needs more friends, please help him he’s so lonely???

KAMADO TANJIRO: Demon Slayer, Dance of the Fire God breath user, full-time older brother and firstborn son with an amazing sense of smell that defies all logic. The personification of compassion and empathy. Has likely known you for 0.5 seconds and will now die for you. On the flip side, if you threaten or hurt anyone he loves, he will absolutely decimate you, don’t even try it. Adores his sister and close friends more than life itself and doesn’t even stop to think if they’re ever in any danger. Driven, dedicated, has made it his mission to befriend as many people as humanly possible no matter their backgrounds or lifestyles. Won’t tolerate mistreatment of others and will stand up to anyone he views as wrong/a bully regardless of someone’s status. Has a strong moral compass and won’t hesitate to kill demons who excessively harm innocents, but expresses empathy towards his fallen opponents in their final moments. Can talk to and understand birds ( and likely other animals ). He’s basically a Disney Princess. A tone-deaf one.

SABITO: Dead, but I do what I want, so he has an alternate verse. Technically a Demon Slayer ( takes on missions from time to time ) but acts as a Swordsmen Cultivator alongside Urokodaki due to an injury in his Final Selection which has affected his abilities to fight for extended periods of time. Water breath user. Rough around the edges, quick temper, does not tolerate any whining or complaining. Typically keeps his true emotions close to his chest, but in moments of extreme stress, they come rising to the surface, especially when someone he cares about is hurt/in danger. A harsh trainer, an advocate of tough love. Under the guise of an abrasive attitude and a slew of insults, he’s encouraging and motivational. Confident, precise, dedicated, efficient. Wastes no time putting himself in harm’s way to protect others, even strangers. Refuses to let anyone give up or waste their life while there’s still so much they can do with it. Will Not Hesitate To Kick Your Ass. Dogs love him and he loves them. 

RENGOKU KYOJURO: Also dead, but I still do what I want, so he has an alternate verse as well. Flame Hashira ( recovering / retired ), focused on training a Tsuguko to take his place and bolster the Demon Slayer ranks. Loud. Rambunctious. Enthusiastic. Passionate. The type to wear a smile to bring comfort to those he aims to protect. Follows his strict moral principles to a T, will not falter or compromise for anyone or anything. Cares immensely for his younger brother and father, wants nothing more than to make his deceased mother proud. Keeps his negative emotions to himself, rarely opens up to those around him, but his friendly attitude attracts people to him regardless. The type to take kids in need of a role model under his wing and will protect them fiercely as he views it as his duty to do so. Animal lover.

POINTS OF INTEREST.

GIYUU is instantly recognisable by his haori. The maroon half once belonged to his deceased sister, the cube patterned half belonged to Sabito, his best and only friend. Other than that, he purposefully does as little as possible so as not to stand out. He prefers to go unnoticed and will rarely approach/speak to strangers unless given a proper reason to.

TANJIRO stands out from the crowd for a multitude of reasons: he wears hanafuda earrings that carry a certain weight amongst demons ( or, rather, Muzan himself ), he bears a scar-like birthmark on his forehead, he wears a bright green and black checkered haori over top of his uniform and, last but not least, he is often seen carrying a large wooden box, where his younger sister sleeps during their travels. His bright smile and friendly personality will undoubtedly draw you in from the get-go — he thrives on interactions with other people and willingly seeks them out.

SABITO is instantly recognisable by the peculiar fox mask with a scar by the right side of its mouth that he is often seen wearing, paired with peach coloured hair that reaches past his shoulders. Beneath his mask, there’s an identical scar by the right side of his mouth, but it is rare for him to take off his mask by choice. He holds little regard for social status ( he’ll only ever express respect for Urokodaki or those who have beaten him in combat ) and can be quite abrupt, regardless of someone’s rank or standing, doubly so if he feels someone is needlessly complaining.

KYOJURO is a man who stands out, whether intentionally or not. Loud ( seriously, his volume is permanently cranked to the max ), rambunctious, wearing brightly coloured clothes and possessing even brighter hair, he is the epitome of ‘out there’. It is hard not to notice him.

WHAT THEY’VE BEEN UP TO.

GIYUU is embarking on missions issued to him by his Kasugaigarasu or attending meetings alongside his fellow Hashira. In his downtime, he keeps mostly to himself, either by training or meditating. His main motivation is to prevent innocent people from suffering at the hands of demons.

TANJIRO’S arc depends entirely on what point in the series I’m writing something for. His main motivation is to focus on finding a way to make his sister human again, defeating Kibutsuji Muzan and fulfilling his role as a Demon Slayer.

SABITO is either embarking on missions issued to him by his Kasugaigarasu, spending time with Makomo or working alongside Urokodaki as a Swordsmen Cultivator. His main motivation is to focus on keeping himself fit and healthy, coping with the lingering effects of his injury and fulfilling any missions given to him.

KYOJURO is focusing on his recovery and is eager to return to his status as Hashira ( or he’s in retirement, dependent on the partner ). His main motivation is to find and train a Tsuguko to take over from him in his retirement, preparing them for the duties and hardships a Hashira must face.

WHERE TO FIND THEM.

In between missions ( which is a very infrequent occurrence ), GIYUU can be found at his “estate” — a modest house by a pond at the edge of a forest that lacks any furnishing or personal touches. He views it as more of a place of rest between missions rather than an actual home and thus sees no need to decorate it. Typically, Giyuu is hard to pin down. He throws himself from one mission to the next, forcing himself to stay on the move. A lot of this is to help as many people as possible and fulfil his duty as a Demon Slayer, however, it’s also a form of self-punishment/self-harm. TW SUICIDAL TENDENCIES. By refusing himself proper rest, he can punish himself for his perceived failings, which is the least of what he believes he deserves. He wholly expects ( and, one some level, wants ) to die on his missions and fully believes it’s the best thing for him.

TANJIRO can be found all over the place, as he rarely stays still in one place for very long. He’s become a frequent visitor at the Butterfly Estate due to the injuries he often receives on his missions, but aside from that, he no longer has a place he truly calls home. He’s often on the move, his missions and duties as a Demon Slayer keeping him busy. Until he can help his sister become human again and defeat Kibutsuji Muzan once and for all, he’ll continue to fight for as long as it takes.

SABITO’S sole permanent residence is with Urokodaki at the foot of Sagiri Mountain, where he spends most of his time as he helps train budding swordsmen. However, when he’s called upon, Sabito will take to the road to fulfil his duties as a Demon Slayer.

KYOJURO frequently visits his estate to check in on his younger brother and ensure his father is doing well. Otherwise, he can be found all over the place, visiting his fellow Hashira, or any wounded swordsmen at the Butterfly Estate. When he’s called upon, he, like everyone else, will take to the road to fulfil his duties as a Demon Slayer.

CURRENT PLANS.

GIYUU recognising that his lack of self-worth is harmful and trying to change the way he thinks about himself/interacts with those around him. Giyuu struggling with his attempts to change, frequently slipping back into old habits and slowly finding his footing again.

TANJIRO learning how to further utilise his Dance of the Fire God breath. Facing his feelings regarding everything he’s been through so far, as he’s never had the chance to truly acknowledge it all. 

SABITO continuing to work at his strength, despite many years having passed since his injury. Connecting with people rather than continuing to isolate himself due to his continuous struggle with depression. Helping to train other budding swordsmen or helping to polish the skills of already well-established Slayers.

KYOJURO building himself back up to his full strength. Depending on the partner, either returning to duty and training his Tsuguko or retiring from being a Hashira and focusing on bolstering the strength of any newbies to the Demon Slaying Corps while training his Tsuguko.

DESIRED INTERACTIONS.

GIYUU: I’d like to explore him attempting to connect with his fellow Hashira ( OC or canon ) following his chat with Tanjiro, overcoming his feelings of worthlessness and learning how to cope with his depression, or even forming an older brother/younger sibling dynamic with any of the kids ( OC or canon ). Experiencing symptoms of his PTSD. Any interactions ranging from emotional to lighthearted and fun would be great!

TANJIRO: I’d like to explore Tanjiro having a moment to properly grieve the death of his family and being forced to face the full weight of his feelings, especially around the anniversary of their deaths or any birthdays, particularly with a Nezuko, or anyone who may be interested! Tanjiro experiencing symptoms of his PTSD. Shenanigans at the Butterfly Estate/a house with a Wisteria Crest. Going on missions together. Having some downtime in a village/town. Someone educating Tanjiro on the more modern goings-on ( think his reaction to the train ).

SABITO: Having him meet other members of the KNY cast ( OC or canon ), whether helping them on a mission or offering extra training during the Hashira training arc. Sabito expressing vulnerability with someone, being able to smile and laugh with them etc. INTERACTIONS WITH A GIYUU!!! Sabito showing signs of struggling with the lasting effects of his injury. Experiencing symptoms of his PTSD.

KYOJURO: Expressing difficulty in recovering from his injuries after his fight with Akaza, verbally or otherwise. Struggling with his newly altered depth of field, expressing rare and mild frustration over it. Spending time with his fellow Hashira. Choosing a Tsuguko ( typically defaulting to Tanjiro, if fellow Tanjiros are okay with it, but this is open to other characters who would like to explore this!! ). Forming an older brother/younger sibling dynamic with any of the kids ( OC or canon ). Experiencing symptoms of his PTSD.

OFFERED INTERACTIONS.

AKA things my muses can offer to yours.

GIYUU: Extremely awkward, stunted, one-sided conversations! Yay! Hesitant attempts at friendship ( specifically for Hashira muses ), impassiveness, extremely mild contentedness around Tanjiro and Nezuko in particular. Sadly, without a solid plot/idea in place, Giyuu is pretty flat when it comes to interactions due to his personality. 

TANJIRO: Unconditional love and affection from the second your muse meets him for the first time ( and also if your muse already knows them, that much is a given ). Moments of reckless selflessness in which he tries to protect your muse, homemade food ( he’s really good at cooking ), endless and undying support, a friend who will stick by your side through thick and thin. He’ll stand up to your muse if they’re being an ass and tell them how it is while somehow being incredibly patient, earnest and kind about it ( well, mostly ).

SABITO: Training. As a Swordsmen Cultivator, Sabito is good at drilling in techniques to his unfortunate pupils. Backhanded encouragement disguised beneath insults and Sabito quite literally beating the stuffing out of your muse ( if talked over first, of course ). A friend who will aggressively support your muse, aggressively hype them up and remind them how worthy they are.

KYOJURO: AN OLDER BROTHER FIGURE FOR THAT MUSE! AN OLDER BROTHER FIGURE FOR THIS MUSE! EVERYONE GETS AN OLDER BROTHER KYOJURO!! He will take on anyone and everyone as his Tsuguko and offer to train them up. He’ll support your muse’s every endeavour, offer constructive criticism on how they can improve, make them hearty meals ( he’s an amazing cook ), a guiding hand against their back.

ANYTHING ELSE?

This blog is set to low activity! I’m a slow writer with extremely erratic bursts of inspiration because work kicks my ass and depression is a little b*tch. Some days I’ll write a lot, other days I won’t write anything at all. There’s rarely any in-between, but I’m working on trying to change that. I operate best with plenty of plotting and regular chats ( whether in the IMs/Discord/in the tags of threads ), as I find it extremely motivational to get to know the mun I’m writing with and maybe even plot out a relationship as we go!

I don’t mind if you favour a single muse over the others! I don’t mind if you want to write with every single one of them! I don’t mind threads with duplicates of my muses! I don’t mind multiple threads, even if we don’t always finish all of them and get hit with a new idea! I’m more than happy to go with the flow — so long as we’re having fun that’s all that matters.

My portrayals often involve the heavy use of headcanons, some of which haven’t been officially posted yet! Everything you see on this blog is likely a continuous work in progress, as my muses and ideas for them are always developing and growing.

Mason and Sookie Cantrell + random information

Sookie’s brother Mason works for SHIELD (secretly at first) He told her that he would work for a technology company, so she wouldn’t ask questions when he works on strange electronic devices in his apartment. He’s also the reason why she got her powers. One of his projects went wrong when she was around and gave her the ability to project force-fields. Of course SHIELD took notice of that after an incident where Agent Cantrells sister accidentally created a whole force-field-bubble at a train station (probably just to save a pigeon or cat  or something) Anyway, Mason constructed her gloves, which should help to stabilize her powers. And SHIELD decided that she could be a potential new member for the Avengers. Yeeh.

more specifically, ocs. these two come in a pair and should not be separated.

Dawson and Cyra. I've mentioned them before, actually, they're the pairing named "underground constellation" and I love them,,,,, So Much

warning for some mentions of their trauma. it will be tagged on this post as well

so, Dawson and Cyra come from a planet of catpeople (yes, I said what I said) which actually no longer exists. Dawson has two older brothers, Niserum and Ares. (which btw, Ares is an oc who belongs to the other mod of this blog :3 ) they're twins, so to make it easier, I'll refer to Niserum and Ares mostly as "the twins"

so, the twins are on this mission to rid the entire universe of all magic and superpowers. they are strongly against the existence of those things. long time ago, on their home planet, Ares came into contact with an artifact that could grant whatever wish you wanted, no matter what, which meant it was super powerful and valuable. the artifact went missing, and after some other events happened, the twins decided to go after the artifact with the intention of wishing for a universe without magic/superpowers.

but enough about the twins. let's talk about Dawson and Cyra

Dawson and Cyra met one night when Cyra was being attacked by some people. Dawson stepped in to protect her, and because Cyra was homeless, he brought her back to stay at his home with him. at the time, the twins told Dawson they had plans to destroy their planet because the use of superpowers was out of control there, and they offered to spare Dawson if he worked for them. Dawson said he would if they let Cyra come with them, and the twins begrudgingly agreed

Dawson spent the next several years working for the twins. they visited different planets, and Dawson had to do various jobs including stealing/destroying magic items, and killing individuals with superpowers or magic. as this was going on, and during travel time, Niserum also used Dawson as a test subject for his experiments (Niserum also did this to Dawson when he was a kid, forgot to mention that)

- some notable things about Dawson and Cyra's travels that I wanna talk about :3c -

very early on, Cyra convinced Dawson they should run away on one of the planets they were stopped on, and Dawson eventually agreed. they were gone for all of a few hours before the twins sent someone to bring Cyra back by force, knowing Dawson would come back willingly when he realized Cyra was gone.

when Dawson returned to the ship, the twins introduced a poison bracelet they put on Cyra which couldn't be removed. they told Dawson the next time either of them tried to escape, they would activate the bracelet and kill her. they also tortured Cyra while Dawson was forced to watch as a punishment for the escape attempt

during one of Dawson's jobs, he was kidnapped and tortured for several days until he was saved by someone else who was working for the twins at the time. when he got back to the ship, and when he saw Cyra again, he kissed her. he began to ramble nervously until Cyra took his hand and simply said "we're in love"

Cyra likes to make tea for her and Dawson, and share it with him. also, they love to watch the stars together... no matter what planet they're on, it's always their favorite thing to do together

Dawson is full of bastard energy. he bites people for fun and to show his affection, and he tends to do dumb shit on impulse. he's rarely serious to hide all the trauma that affects him everyday, and to avoid Cyra being concerned about him. also, he is VERY protective over Cyra

Cyra is soft girl. she has become very agreeable because of the situation she's been put into, and finds it hard to ever speak her mind because of it. she worries about Dawson a lot, but doesn't know how to help him considering there's no way out of their situation

oh, also, fun fact! Dawson has a superpower of his own ewe shadow manipulation - he can control shadows and use them as a solid form to interact with the world around him.

dude. i just finished bad habit and wow??? i went through so many feelings throughout the installment and the rollercoaster almost threw me off this world. ok first of all, i’m in love with your writing so that’s not new, but this part in particular got to me because it was so introspective, especially into jungkook’s character. i said this before but i’ll say it again: i started reading bic bc of the smut, but really stayed for the character psychoanalysis LMAO

to be honest, when i first saw the spoiler texts prior to bad habit release and the smut spoiler (jk being mean and the sp*t kink) i thought it would just be another typical jealous jk at the party situation, kinda like jimin situation, which is very common in fics (which is more than fine btw, i live for that shit) but WRONG. i love that it was much more complicated than that. jk being angry and mean during the smut was a mixture of a lot of complex feelings (insecurities, hopefulness, fondness, all masked under jealousy and pettiness), not just external factors, which i think is very real and very valid. on one hand, it seems like he’s stupid that he’s unable to communicate these feelings (bc again i guess he’s insecure); on the other he seems to be very conscious of what’s going on, but still is fighting with the emotional turmoil himself- like he’s compartmentalizing things, but not accepting and embracing the emotions yet. i just... wanna give this character a big hug and say it’s ok to feel this way but also SPEAK TF UP.

we don’t get a lot of insight into oc’s perspectives in this, and while i can say she finds comfort in jk’s presence and reflects a lot on how she knows him on a deeper level, i wish i could say she’s as whipped as jk (bc i know she is!!!) but sadly, she doesn’t show it much (safe for maybe when she pinched his cheek owo. i can imagine jk go all like🥺😶🥺😳 at that)

all in all though, their characters’ fondness of each other SHOWS when they’re alone. their playful banter during sex is so representative of their dynamic and i couldn’t stop smiling reading it. also, the aftercare and the horizontal kissing after sex (yk when jk lies down while still kissing her.... yeah very minor but that’s love language for me right there) is just......agsgshjsf just say ily already. they’d be blind to not see that, bc even taehyung kept saying DUDE YOU’RE WHIPPED AND DOWN BAD and he’s spitting faCTS. let’s just pray they realize it soon, without too much pain🥲

Both jk and the oc are going through a lot of projection and rationalization, trying to find every possible excuse under the sun to avoid taking the next step. Luckily, though, they’re getting there.
