Ranchers as Grant Wood’s American Gothic was supposed to be sillay and goofy but then I set the ranch on fire and one thing led to another and now it’s. sad DFBJDFGB I’m really happy with how this came out though, so!! Here’s my week 3 piece for the Hermitcraft Design Challenge thingie :]

New life smp x starwing/starfox just your pilot shoot'em up, but not in space but on the new life server (sausage and joel gave us a prime example how this would would like already hahaha) could have drawn cpk but i am not good at drawing animal faces

This weeks theme of @shepscapades designchallenge was "what if the hermits where in a different video game". Took me a while to came up with something but when i was watching scars new episode, I knew which game to pick and i have to say i am very proud of it! So i decided to redraw the box-art of the starwing game i own! also gave me an opportunity to draw the airplanes. It also doubles as my first new life fanart. ancient copy of starwing i own

Zedaph: Battle Smith Artificer Satyr

Cleo's a Half-orc cos green.... I'm very creative I know.. I had the classes in mind for the other 3 already and I figured the party kinda needs someone who can fight head on, so she's a fighter...and def not cos I wanted to draw her beefy. Mumbo's kinda there but he has a thing

He's a support paladin lmao. He just whacks them really hard with the blunt end until theyre low hp (the others finish them off so teeeeechnically he doesnt kill)

Bees !

Both allays belong to Zedaph but one is just attached to Cleo for some reason . Zed constantly looks like he came from an explosion . His clothes just has permanent splats on it.

And cos theyre all gamers they all have diamond tools/weapons!

for this week I chose to design my special boy bdubs as a druid for the dnd class challenge. what can i say, this man loves greenery, finding beauty in the world, horses, and i think if he had the option to blow people up with nature magic he would love that.

MONK ETHO for @shepscapades​ ‘ Week 1 of the Hermitcraft Character Design Event! 

Every week, both the hermit/traffic member AND prompt are randomised. I have  three wheel spins and whichever is the final choice I  have to complete. This week was:

1. GRIAN + PALADIN 2. JOEL + RANGER 3. ETHO + MONK

When putting this design together it’s heavily inspired (identical aside from few colour changes) by what is worn by Japanese monks during the Sengoku Period

neither dnd or Japanese fashion history are things im that familiar with, both were fascinating to research i hope i did alright

ye so the horror/villain prompt kind of falls into how I usually draw so I felt like doing something different. problem is I'm in like no other mcyt fandom outside of traffic smp (I watch hermitcraft as my filler inbetween seasons very very casually and watched a teeny tiny bit of empires)

SO have some double life outfit swaps from their respective series!! I tried to keep it to pairings that came from different series and as much as I wanted to draw scott in jorts pearl's cleaning lady outfit is too iconic not to include.

there's a third one still in the works that I may have accidentally made a bit more shippy than intended so uh that'll be arriving in its own post lmao

Ouugughh I was not expecting the brainrot to be this bad, but this week's prompts of the Hermitcraft Character Design Event inspired me to take a look at my old Yogscast botw au, back when the common hc for yogs c!martyn was so different! Seeing my old designs for everyone in the au made me want to redesign them, and I had so much fun updating both martyn, who’s basically a human-shaped korok, and Toby (SoTotallyToby), who Martyn befriended and knighted as the defender of the Great Hyrule forest, that iiiiii kinda started entertaining the idea of throwing some hermits into the au, too.

Amused thoughts about Ren being Littlewood’s new guard dog and the subsequent thought that Toby and Ren would probably end up fighting over the Korok Prince has led to more brainrot than I’d like to admit, honestly. So… yeah. Botwcast, featuring Korok Prince Martyn, Defender of the Lost Woods Toby, and Blood Moon werewolf Ren!
