something very unusual from my part once again. this time, it's...

an oc revamp!! meet canda the bitter!! loosely inspired by sherlock gnomes's moriarty and a fanchild of a very old svtfoe themed selfship universe.

haven't touched this oc in years (i've created her in 2019) and redesigning her allowed me to take a breath of fresh hair for once. i hope you enjoy!!

Once again realized I never posted it but uhm. yeah.

also featuring the headcanon i picked up about gnomes having plants growing on them. in juliet's case she's based on the concept art from gary dunn and her ponytail is actually a belladonna flower (thought to be the flower used to make the poison in the real romeo and juliet)

and gnomeo is a rose bc "a rose by any other name would smell as sweet" and he used to hide it bc it was red and he was blue duh.

they are a wizard that can sorta predict the future. they always get some small detail wrong, though. for example, they'll predict that you'll step in a puddle of water that night, and it'll happen 2 weeks later. im not good at describing this, oops.

edit i just realized my handwriting is incomprehensible. they're saying "oh shit, you're EARLY"

Lilwyn was born in the Outer City of Baldur's Gate in the year 1437 alongside her younger twin brother, Tavrell Whittlebee. Her family was poor, her father was a local butcher and her mother was a midwife. They were a close family, despite their poverty, and the twins were raised on tales of Baldurian heroes and dragons and magic.

When her father passed away in a work incident in the year 1453, their mother fell into a depression that meant Lily and Tavrell had to more or less fend for themselves. As teenagers they worked as couriers, before falling into their own professions as young adults. Lily worked as a tinker's apprentice, and her brother became an assistant to a local private detective.

They still supported each other, swapping stories and occasionally helping one another at work. Together, they made their careers while still keeping their ailing mother in bread and comfort. She would pass away from illness a little over ten years later, in 1465.

In the year 1477, Tavrell had recently started up his own office as a private detective, and began looking into a string of murders that had been happening across Baldur's Gate. Lilwyn told him that she had a bad feeling about it, but he went for it anyway—and not long after, the last surviving member of the Whittlebee family disappeared. Lilwyn spent almost a full year trying to find out what had happened, and trying to get the city watch to look into his disappearance, but to no avail.

Knowing surely that her brother must be among the victims of the mysterious killer, Lilwyn left her comfortable job as a tinkerer's assistant and took over her brother's old office, swearing that one day she'd find the bastard who murdered her brother and bring them to justice.

He is a polymer clay figurine that was a popular birthday mascot, back then before Moriarty became popular, he had his own show and a playplace! But then his popularity stopped because the business was bankrupt so he was left abandoned and forgotten.

Now this is a detective who'll be kind and respectful. He will also steal your pocket change tho so idk you win some you loose some.

Was mentioning how the one (1) thing BBC Sherlock was correct about was putting Watson in that sweater. It's also the main thing I remember from when I enjoyed it back in whenever it came out. And then @yamikakyuu suggested that I put Matthäus in the BBC Sherlock coat and well that was an absolute brilliant idea so I went to work. He has never looked more like three rats in a trench coat. I also added a Frederick in said sweater - left his trousers tho because I feel like they're such an important part of his character.

((It’s been a long while since I posted anything in regards to the Ornaments!AU/Sherlock Gnomes!AU on this blog, but since it’s the month of Halloween again, I figured that I would post this old-ish drawing that I did last year since I never did.  While I’m at it, Doll!Lee’s costume here is the same one I used as a reference for the redraw I did here--> (X)!  Meanwhile, Gnome!Kyung got a real intricate grim reaper costume that I might actually draw her in again this year in a different verse.))

So I've never explained my persona, you know with who and WHAT they are so I'll try that now. His name is Matcha Eclair Morning star he is an upper class imp descendant of paiman. Also being my persona he doesn't play as much of a role in hell now and spends most of his time in the overworld with Moriarty. Of course sherlock gnomes and other forms of media involving hell don't tie in with him or my current story. Moriarty is just a side thing I can do what I want with since my persona isn't in my already existing story with my ocs. I'll give more info on him and his relationship with Moriarty and the other sherlock gnomes characters as soon as I can. ❤
