'The Storm'
Shianna is one of my oldest World of Warcraft characters, and it's been too long since I last drew her. Wind and rain for her go hand in hand, and with the storm, comes the lightning.

The Urn of Sacred Ashes
Oh, by the way, when we were in the creepy village, after Sten tried to commandeer the party, Morrigan got a bit awkward. She had this locating ring for Darrian, something about being able to find him in case something happens not that it means anything baka. A couple of minutes later, both went to "investigate" [each other's faces] behind a murder-house.
Darrian steps into the temple, Morrigan, Sten and Zevran at his side. He's a bit nervous about this. Is the Urn actually in there ? He's not crazy religious, but, like everyone else, he's grown up hearing about Andraste and the Maker. They aren't light stories, these are events that pretty much made the current world what it is. Hah, the chantry'd probably be eating their hats if they knew an elf was the one to find the urn first after all that time. And elf, with a Qunari and a hedge maze. Okay, and Alistair. Hm, they'll probably just say Alistair found it, won't they ?
Oh, there's a guy, in there ! Is he a ghost ? Oh, he knows stuff about us. Fiiine, let's get done with it. Yes, Darrian regrets not being able to rescue Shianni, duh. Not that he knows what he could have done, except kill the guards faster, but well. Alistair's Daddy Duncan issues are laid out again, thanks guardian. Sten's not shaken one bit, the guardian's not teaching him anything he doesn't know. Morrigan just blows the ghost off, oh, you can just do that, huh. Further up, other ghosts, actors of Andraste's march. Oh, there's an elf, knew it. Pretty interesting stuff, overall. Next is... Oh wow, the guardian, or whatever's doing this thing just conjured a Shianna-shaped illusion, that is fucked up. Yeah, Morrigan's dismissal of the guilt tripping was probably smart, all things considered.
Finally, we get to the Urn. It really is it, huh. Pretty fancy. Alistair's awestruck, Morrigan wants us to know she's unimpressed, and Sten calls it a dustbin, and look, mister guardian, if that truly is your name, Darrian just came here to have a good time and he doesn't know who these people are, so we'll take the pinch and leave you be, okay ?
So. Andraste's ashes. They sure are real, and they like to make people really uncomfortable. Oh, fuck Kolgrim's just out there, waiting. Yeah, we did the thing with the... thing, no really. He doesn't believe us, so we have to kill him. Hm, funny horn he has there, wonder what that sounds like- Aaah dragon !!! Phew let's hope that wasn't actually Andraste. It probably wasn't, but, would it be weirder than whatever was happening in the Brecilian Forest ?
Genitivi's still at the entrance. He's thrilled that we found the ashes, and now wants to tell all of Ferelden. Yeah, sure, knock yourself out, man. Alright, time to go, let's hope Eamon hasn't died while we were out here.

Elio Tabris never wanted to become a Grey Warden.
He'd been content enough with how his life had been. He was reasonably liked within the alienage, had close friends, close family- blood or not. He was close to his father, his cousins Shianni and Soris were more siblings than cousins to him, and he often joined the children in their games, playing the monster for them to battle, or making up stories of elven heroes so they had someone to look up to.
Even his marriage, though not by his own will, wasn't something he was against. Nesiara had been a sweet girl, someone that he wouldn't have minded settling down with. Even though it had only been a short period, they had hit it off from the start. Both nervous, but eager to see where their lives together would take them.
But then Vaughan happened.
Abuse from the humans was hardly new. Old Geryn, now a beggar with a lame leg, was testament to that. But this? This was too far.
Lordling or not, a line had been crossed.
It surprised him how... unbothered... he was by the bloodshed. Slitting the sleeping guards throat, poisoning the drunkards while they played wicked grace, cutting down every guard that got in his and Soris way.
Violence was the only option they had, he had reasoned. They needed to rescue the women Vaughan had kidnapped. But then they found Nola. She'd always been kind. They had grown up together, their fathers friends, their families had dinner together once every other week. Her body was still warm, the blood still wet and fresh, if they'd just been faster!
Elio felt no guilt killing the three blighted bastards. It was the only justice he could give her.
And yet... whatever anger he had felt at seeing Nola's dead body had been nothing compared to the storm that was born when he found Shianna.
She had been on the floor, shaking and sobbing, begging to go home, her clothing torn, her face bruised. The thick musk in the air was just as much confirmation as her appearance.
He saw red. Bargains and talks fell on deaf ears.
The rage, the bloodlust had been alien to him, but it was still all his, and Elio took pleasure in watching Vaughan choke to death on his own blood.
Elio never wanted to be a Grey Warden, never cared to be more than what he already was. But he was a Grey Warden because he stood up to the lordling bastard, because he killed the monsters who hurt his family.
Nothing would ever make him regret that choice.

I just want to make a difference in the world
First try at aesthetics, it’s about my D&D character Shianna, an arcane trickster rogue-wizard air genasi, who’s very curious, has strong morals and not much patience.

Hi! Firstly your ocs are so cool i know nothing about them but i already love them. Can you tell more about Steven please? I feel like there is a lot of lore inside their bags under the eyes /hj /lh
Awww thank you!
And tbh, there is a reason of his eye bags so :)
Tumblr media
Steven is Sean’s brother, and he is the second oldest in the group (the oldest one being shianna)
He’s not that talkative or social but he can read people easily (basically he has a good perception skills) (when I say he’s good, I mean he basically can see even the slightest change around him)
Anyway we’re here to talk about the reason for his eye bags.
Short answer: he’s basically the result of being a lab rat for too long and trying to find a cure for it
Long answer:
Steven and Sean was used as a living experiment back when they were younger, Steven from his childhood until teens (maybe around 14-ish) and Sean maybe when he was 7-8 ish, basically still a child
Since Steven was longer to kept in isolation, he received a lot more fucked up stuff from there. That is also the reason of how he was anti-social and not talkative, because if he just even croak a sound at the wrong moment, he got punished by it
Until one point, the group that used them did something extreme and Steven was left basically unstable at that point. Something else happened that triggered this and then everything went chaotic quickly
He basically turned into a monster like creature, screaming and destroying the place. He kills anybody in his way with no mercy. While in this form, he’s unconscious, so he had no idea about his actions and had no control of it. Eventually when he saw Sean cowering in the corner, his mind sort of clicked and recognized that he need to protect him at all cost, that’s when he turned back to normal.
The transformation is one hell of a hurtful process, and even after that his body is still in pain. But realizing what he had done, he told Sean to run away. But Sean insisted to go with him, so they both ran away from the place
Cut to the present time, the “curse” / monster transformation is still there, but it will only get triggered if he experiences extreme emotion, mostly anything negative. And sometimes it can also get triggered randomly, usually at night, so sometimes he can’t even sleep. (The reason about his eye bags mostly)
He now works as a lab scientist or something along those lines because he wanted to find a cure, or just something to reduce the pain and try to control his monster form. Nobody knows about this form except for Sean of course, since he’s the one who can calm him down…
And Shianna :)

Talk
A drabble of conversation between Duncan and his new recruit. TW for discussion of violence, death, and sexual assault mentions. About 575 words.
“Would you like to talk about it?
Zisel looked up with a start. The Grey Warden was looking at her from the other side of the campfire with an odd expression on his worn face. Odd, because she thought it might be genuine concern. She’d never seen such an expression on a shemlen’s face.
“What is there to talk about?” she asked. She went back to picking at her supper. Trail rations. Hard cheese, smoked sausage, boiled water with bitter leaves that passed for tea. She didn’t have the stomach for any of it. “A noble kidnapped me and raped my cousin, his guards killed my fiance, I killed him. Simple enough.”
The Warden didn’t reply right away. Zisel was beginning to hope he wouldn’t say anything at all when he said, “You’re wearing his ring.”
Zisel instinctively shifted her hand out of the firelight. “What about it?”
“I suppose you cared for Nelaros quite a bit.”
“I barely even knew him.”
She picked up a stick and prodded at the fire. In the sparks that burst from it, she saw surprise on the Warden’s face.
“He was from the Highever alienage. My father arranged the marriage. I only met him today.”
The log she’d poked finally caught. She put the stick down.
“I didn’t expect anyone to come after us,” she said. “But I can understand Soris doing it. All of us except Valora he’s known his whole life. Shianna and I are his cousins. Nelaros didn’t. He ran in to save people he didn’t even know and he died for it.”
The scene was as clear in her mind as her mother’s death years before. The two of them running in as Soris slid her a sword - the one still strapped to her back - a moment of relief at knowing she wouldn’t have to try to fight her way through the estate alone and unarmed, and then a thump. Watching Nelaros stiffen, put a hand to his back, and a brief convulsion of confusion and pain cross his face before he crumpled to his knees and collapsed. His ring had still been on his finger. Once she and Soris killed the guard responsible, she’d gone back. Knelt beside him. Her dress was already bloody; there was no point being careful not to kneel in the pool of it spreading around his body. She’d looked at him for a long time, this elf she did not know, and felt a strange emptiness. She hadn’t particularly wanted to share a life with him. But having an inevitable fate ripped away so suddenly left her lost.
When Soris said they needed to hurry, she’d nodded. She hadn’t even fully realized what she was doing as she slipped the ring off his finger and onto her own. It had to go on her middle finger. Nelaros’s hands were bigger than hers.
“This is what I wanted,” Zisel said finally. “But I didn’t want it like this.”
“Such is the fate of many of our order,” the Warden - Duncan - said. “I am truly sorry for your loss. To lose future, family, and home in a single moment is not easy. But I think you will find you are not alone among the Wardens.” He smiled at her gently. It was a kind smile, for a shemlen. And a sad one. “It is my hope that I am bringing you home.“
