Every time I remember shifting it real, like actually, genuinely real I get scared.
I keep forgetting this isn’t some type of story or book I’m writing, I’ll actually be there.
And the the people there are going to be real.
every time I say to myself “why am I scared? It’s my reality. Nothing can go wrong. I decide what happens.” My Brain circles back to how I’ll ACTUALLY BE THERE.

being a shifter is so tough in the regards of personal questions.
“do you have any siblings?” hmm.
“are you dating anyone?” um
“….are you a virgin?” uh
“any pets?” erm
“who do you love the most?” leave me alone

(This has been sitting in my drafts since feb)
I just had the weirdest shifting (?) dream ever???
Warning: sorry if this is confusing I’m literally losing my mind trying to process this. It probably won’t convey as dire as I’m making it out to be but I’m very disoriented still
Basically the dream started out normal (which for me isn’t normal at all) I was in my living room with my family when all of a sudden my front door slammed open and in comes my older brother- my older brother who DIED SIX YEARS AGO. I did have it in mind to manifest him being alive again but I was gobsmacked. He comes in and everyone acts normal as if he’d never left and I audibly went “oh my god” in the most horrified voice ever and they all looked at me and I ran upstairs to my room (which also hasn’t been my room up there in years) and went to grab my phone which was still like modern to these times. My Lock Screen was different and stuff but like I could read everything on the screen. Which is weird cause in dreams you shouldn’t be able to do that. Everything was clear I read the date it said it was Wednesday, December 8. I fuckin lost it I was going insane. I was like crying cause I was overwhelmed and I went to google and I searched up what year it was (idk why I didn’t just go to calendar but I was distressed). It said it was 2016 which I thought was a bit weird cause I didn’t manifest I wanted to go back to 2016 I wanted to go back to 2021 when I was 15 but I didn’t complain cause my brother was back. (Woke up and checked if Dec 8 was on a Wednesday in 2016. It wasn’t but it was in 2021 😭😭)
So I went to snap chat and checked my friends list and there where tons of new people that I had sent pics too but I was looking for one in particular- the girl I script to be my bsf in every DR that I wanted to manifest was real here and lo and behold, there’s her name “Savanna 😊🙈” i was 🫨 so anyways the dream goes on and looking back at it, it didn’t make as much sense as I thought it did at the time but I was sort of confused then too cause things weren’t how I wanted only half like it. So I told someone (who I think was meant to be savanna but looked nothing like her) about what was going on and I told her “I haven’t always been here” and she went “yes you have 🤨” and I went “no like this current awareness, this consciousness hasn’t always been here” and she just looked at me blankly and went “ok” and kept walking while I was loosing my shit. I saw friends from my dr that I wanted to manifest into this reality and my bf from my better cr dr and he called me over to him and he literally just held me and looked at me with the biggest smile but then I realized he didn’t look like my boy. Like his hair was lighter and his eyes were brown not bluish green like usual so I like decided to go away and look for other people. I found Jules (Leblanc) and she’s my best friend in a ton of my drs and ran over to her like practically sobbing cause I was so confused cause everything seemed clear and yet not at the same time and it feel like my brain was exploding and she just hugged me and listened as I babbled on about how I just woke up in the wrong year and my dead brother was suddenly alive and nothing was exactly how I wanted it yet it was close???? I was just so confused and overwhelmed and everyone was really supportive and trying to comfort me as I was literally losing my mind but I could visibly see the confusion on their faces which made me more distressed cause I didn’t understand. And then after awhile the dream got. all weird again. If anyone and I mean ANYONE has any ideas of what the fuck this could’ve been I’d be open to theories cause a whole month later and I still got nothing 😊

My Reality Shifting Experience
Otherwise known as the post I meant to do after work one day and forgot.
Long post incoming. You've been warned lol
Word Count: 1,601
Please keep in mind that what works for me may not work for someone else. My spirituality, beliefs, and practices come solely from my experiences, and not what I've read on the internet. I did have to do some minor research for this post so that I could put commonly used names to what I do. I also only talk about the Star Wars galaxy as that is the only one I have actively shifted to. I know there are others, but I genuinely can't remember them.
Tumblr media
What is "reality shifting"? Reality shifting, as a definition, is the practice of transferring or moving your consciousness to another world/universe/dimension/whatever you wish to call it. It can be fictional or not. This destination is usually referred to as your "desired reality", or DR for short. Your current reality or original reality (CR or OR, respectively) is the one you're probably reading this post from.
Here's where things start to get a little messy, at least for me. I personally put reality shifting under the same umbrella as astral projection and anything similar, as these various methods are just that to me. Different methods and names for the same exact thing: A way to interact with the areas that our universe has allowed us to have. To keep everything simple, I'll refer to these methods as reality shifting.
I've been shifting to the wondrous galaxy found in the Star Wars franchise since I was just eight years old. I first encountered Obi-Wan Kenobi and Mace Windu on the street here on our very own planet mere days after first discovering the franchise. I had only seen one episode, and had only been introduced to Obi-Wan, Anakin Skywalker, and a few other characters. Yet here was a Jedi Master introducing himself as Mace Windu before I had ever even heard of the character. That single episode was my first exposure to the franchise. I didn't even know about Master Yoda yet.
When I first started shifting, I had no control over it. Sometimes I still don't. I genuinely don't know how I do it, as I don't really use any well known methods in order to do it. The first time I ever encountered anything to do with reality shifting was completely by accident, as they found me. But the stronger my connection to the people in that galaxy became, the easier it was to make the connection and shift.
Realities overlapping is quite commonplace. There have been times where the image of Obi-Wan or someone else has quite literally flickered into existence, even including the area just round them, allowing me a glimpse of where they currently are. I've been told the same has also occurred on their end. There were even some times where It wasn't just an image, but the realities literally colliding, allowing us to actually converse as if we weren't in galaxies several parsecs away, but instead standing right next to each other in one galaxy or the other.
Some of the physical interactions I've had:
The very first meeting with Master Windu and Obi-Wan.
Someone who looked exactly like a clone trooper (height, looks, everything) once entered my history classroom in third grade to speak with my teacher. Being a child, I asked him outright if he was a clone, and he responded by saying no while laughing after looking at me scared. His expression is one of the few I will never forget.
A Patrolian in the park in my town.
A metal statue cut clean through in another park in my town. Parts of it were melted along the cut. The cut was also too straight for anything we could possibly use. It was cut in one fluid motion.
Hearing the rattle of clone armor by the lake near my apartment. My roommate heard it as well. We were the only ones around and it was the middle of the night.
Almost every physical interaction I've had has had someone else confirm that they were indeed physically there (I was the only one who saw the Patrolian).
One of the most interesting things about this experience as a whole is how much actually carries over to here. Mannerisms, beliefs, even abilities have transferred to this galaxy.
For example, with the Force, you're able to sense another being's presence, even distinguish exactly who it is. Every living thing, from the largest sentient being to the smallest organism, has their own unique presence in the Force. One thing that has carried over for me is a very diluted version (best way I can describe it) of being able to sense a presence.
Things I've learned about the SW galaxy through shifting:
They actually have a name for their galaxy. It's called the "Virdon Galaxy".
They know of other galaxies and have named them as well, regardless if the occupants of said galaxy call it that or not. They call the Milky Way galaxy (our galaxy) the "Retuura Galaxy". They also call Earth "Areen", Mercury "Bentuu", and Pluto "Virk". The other planets never came up in any conversations.
Our entire planetary system was never charted on any official star maps prior to Master Windu and Obi-Wan's visit. I was never told why.
They consider us a backwater planet and very primitive. Don't be offended. A lot of backwater planets get overlooked, and during the Clone War, that can be a really good thing sometimes.
The clones are some of the greatest people you'll ever meet. It's like having a giant family of protective brothers you didn't know you wanted. That being said, they're still soldiers, and men. They talk very coarsely. A lot. Especially when they think younglings can't hear them. Those men have absolutely no filter when they think they're just with their brothers.
The timeline we know to be canon within the franchise is not the actual timeline there. The franchise has been made for entertainment, rather than accuracy. I first met Obi-Wan while the Clone War was ravaging the galaxy. I've also met Qui-Gon Jinn, who unfortunately did perish later on in the Clone War during a mission. In the franchise, he perishes on Naboo.
Time doesn't move the same for each of our galaxies. There have been times where a month has passed here, and only a week has passed there, as well as vice versa. Time is genuinely an illusion with our galaxies.
Force abilities, whether from a natural born being of this galaxy or a Jedi from Coruscant, are weaker in our system than any other known location. Obi-Wan had once mentioned to me that being in this system dulled his senses, as if the system was almost non-existent in the Force. The Council tried to look into it, but not a single member could figure why.
These are all things I learned before I even turned ten. Yes, children have very active imaginations, but there are certain things that not even a child should be able to come up with. I was a very sheltered child, being raised in the church (I won't say what one) by my grandmother. There were certain things I never knew about, let alone even think to research. Anything related to astral projection, reality shifting, or other things considered more spiritual were never exposed to me until I was almost eighteen. So how would an eight year old youngling come up with the idea of practically being an experiment of the Jedi Order? Especially when there were physical interactions. (I say experiment because that's essentially what my training started out being. The Council wanted to see if someone from this Force-starved system could even be trained in the Force. So, quite literally an experiment.)
As for methods? That is unfortunately where my knowledge on the subject ends. Some people write out, or script, where they want to go, what will happen, everything about their desired reality. Some people prefer to meditate before attempting to shift, while others simply jump into it. What's important is that you find what works best for you. Not what works for your parent or your best friend, but for you. Trust your feelings, but do your research. If something feels right or wrong, then it probably is. There's no "one method fits all".
Don't be discouraged if you don't shift on your first try. Some people are more naturally inclined to shifting than others. It's not uncommon for someone to not shift on their first try. It takes practice. Even I still have to practice and I've been doing it for years.
I know this post is slightly all over the place, so if you need clarification on anything or have any questions, please don't hesitate to send me an ask. Please know that any asks I receive (if any) will be posted to benefit anyone else who may have a similar, if not the same, question as long as they are reasonable. Feel free to use the anon option if you don't want your blog name to be shown.
Whether you believe something like this is possible or not, please be respectful to those who believe and have experienced things themselves. Just because someone else was not around for something that someone experiences doesn't mean that it isn't real. We don't truly know what all could be out there. We can barely make it to other planets of our system with robots, let alone vessels that can transport living beings. Things such as reality shifting may seem insane to some, but they are very real to others.

My mini-shift
This happened about a year ago, when I had been trying to shift for (almost exactly) a year. I think I shifted to Boku no Hero Academia for like one minute, but it was a very intense minute, and it was... weird. It's my only success story so far, and it was completely accidental. I wasn't trying to shift or doing a method or anything
Just like my waiting room experience, I woke up very early in the morning and was trying to fall asleep again.. I just was in that half-asleep, half-awake state.
Suddenly, I heard my mom's voice calling me, very clearly, like she was in my room. I opened my eyes, but there was no one there, and it seemed like everyone was asleep. I closed my eyes again and rolled over.
Then I started hearing a different voice, a male voice, calling my DR name repeatedly.
I opened my eyes again... and I saw the sky, I found myself laying on my back on the ground (probably a training field at UA) and saw Iida, in his hero costume minus the helmet, calling my name again and again. I assume I had hurt myself and fallen unconscious during an intense training session, but... at that time, I couldn't think or process anything, because I was probably seriously hurt. My whole body was numb, I couldn't move, and all I could feel was an intense headache.
When Iida noticed I was awake, he said: "Are you alright? Can you move?" I couldn't move AT ALL, I couldn't even shake my head because it hurt terribly. I struggled to speak. Now, trying to speak or scream and being unable to find my voice is something that happens often in my dreams, so for a moment I thought it was probably a dream, BUT I finally managed to say: "My head hurts..." "Don't move! Recovery Girl is on her way!"
Then I heard another voice calling me (not my name, but a nickname), and Kirishima, also in his hero costume, knelt beside me on my other side. "Are you okay? Don't worry! I'll take you to Recovery Girl!!" "No!" -Iida interrupted him- "Don't move her! If she has some broken bones, it's better not to move her!" "Oh... yeah, you're right. Hang on!"
And then I lost consciousness, or more exactly, I felt like my consciousness was pulling me back to my CR (it's hard to explain but it felt exactly like that, like something pulling my brain so strong I couldn't fight back to stay there). I fainted in my DR and woke up in my CR.
To this day, I'm not 100% sure it wasn't a dream, but... it was different from my usual dreams, but also different from my daydreams (I couldn't control it). I definitely couldn't do a reality check because I couldn't move, I can't even tell if everything felt completely real because my body and mind were numb from the pain. I usually don't feel pain in my dreams, that's why pinching yourself is a common reality check. But the voices I heard previously felt very real. Also, when I wake up from a dream, I usually can tell it was a dream right away, but this time I woke up feeling like "WTH did just happen?", if felt different, like it had happened a moment ago.
The weirdest thing, maybe, is that it didn't follow my script, because I had scripted I'd wake up quietly in my room the first day of school, so why did "it" (my subconscious, the universe, whatever "it" is) decide to take me to a random moment in the middle of training? I can only imagine it was a warning of what's waiting for me if I shift there. I don't know. But hey. I got to see two of my favorite boys, and they were worried about me, so I'll take that.

Lark's Shifting Experience 6/14/22
Hello shifting friends!!!
So.... I successfully shifted last night.
It was crazy!!! Here is the short version of my experience: (Under Keep Reading I'll be more detailed!!)
Which method?: Lucid Dreaming Method (you get into a lucid dream and create a portal into your DR)
How did you fall asleep? Did you meditate beforehand? See angel numbers? Drink a lot of water? : No!! I didn't do any of that!! I didn't have a huge sign or experience anything unique beforehand. The only thing was when I laid down I said to myself, "I'm gonna shift tonight." and laid in a somewhat starfish position. But I fell asleep so fast I didn't have time to meditate or do affirmations. And then it just happened!!
Which DR did you go to?: I went to my One Piece DR as Lark Normandy!!
How long were you there?: I was only in my DR for what felt like 10 mins and then I woke up.
What happened in your DR?: I was in a dream and realized I was dreaming so I quickly made a portal and jumped through it into my One Piece DR. I opened my eyes and was on a ship with my captain and crewmates and we landed and explored an island.
What happened when you woke up?: I felt totally normal. I didn't think much of my dream until a few moments after I fully woke up I was like "Holy shit. I shifted." Almost didn't believe it and it took me a bit to process!!! (I'm still processing)
Overall: it was a very short experience, but it was incredible!!!!!
Okay so much to tell ahhhh.... I guess I'll start from the beginning!
For starters, I do not actively practice shifting anymore!! I haven't tried to shift for like a month now. I still believe in it and everything it just hasn't been my focus for awhile. (which is totally okay, take shifting breaks, it's good for you /gen) I of course still stay hydrated, I sometimes still meditate to relax myself, and every now and then I see angel numbers, but I haven't been actively trying to shift or anything.
So yesterday (6/13) I binged watched One Piece episodes with my husband and we were talking about it all day and I was watching meme videos about the anime and overall, just did a lot of One Piece related things the whole day. (Ya'll obvi know by now how that anime has me in a fucking chokehold and I'm not even sorry lmao)
Then it was time to go to bed. I was a little high and super relaxed and in a good mood, so when I laid down I randomly had the thought of, "I'm going to shift to One Piece tonight." I laid in a loose/relaxed starfish position but before I could even do any affirmations I passed the fuck out lol
I start dreaming and it's pretty normal, until someone mentions my grandma and I stopped and was like "My grandma is dead. She passed away years ago. Why is she alive now?" And that's when I realized, "Holy shit this is a dream!!!" Without missing a beat, I snapped my fingers and made this glowing white and purple portal. I said, "Here we go!" And YEETED myself through the portal. (I've never jumped so quickly headfirst into something)
When I opened my eyes I was in a row boat with my captain, Luffy, and a few crewmates, Nami and Zoro.
{ I gotta take a pause and say..... ZO R O. Being able to see him. To hear him. To be next to him. I was there. I was RIGHT there. The love of my life was just as handsome in person as he is in the show. Just being next to him was incredible. }
We were sitting in this small row boat and the waves were rough and choppy. Luffy was telling us to hold on as we were heading straight for an island up ahead.
This moment is when it felt so real I can't even properly explain: As the ship was rocking and thunder was roaring, a wave came up and splashed me in the face. It splashed me. And I FELT it. It was real. I was real. The water was real. I remember vividly wiping the water from my face and I felt how cold and wet it was. I can't stress enough how real it was. If you took a glass of water right now and splashed it onto your face, that's what it felt like in that moment. That was when I knew I had successfully shifted. I knew it wasn't just a crazy dream... It. Was. Real.
Afterwards, we finally landed on the island. Zoro and I went to explore through a few caves and were hiding from some monsters/bad guys. It gets a little fuzzy because shortly after I woke up! Like I said, it was a pretty short experience but none-the-less so amazing.
One moment I was Lark exploring an island, and then I blinked and I was back in my normal bed with my cats and husband next to me. It didn't hit me all at once what actually happened. My brain was still processing and questioning it. Was that an actual shift? Was it just a super lucid dream? Did I just make the whole thing up? All these doubts swam through my mind but after about an hour of being awake I stopped and said "Holy shit. I shifted. I actually shifted."
That's really all there is to tell!!! I told Lily about it immediately and then came on here to share with y'all!! I'm definitely gonna be shifting more and practicing different methods again. I have SOO much motivation now it's insane, so I'll keep y'all updated with my journey and whenever I shift again, you'll be the first to know!
Thanks for reading and anyone who hasn't shifted yet, DO NOT GIVE UP!! I started shifting November 2020 and it took me until June 2022 to fully shift. Shifting is real!! It WILL happen to you!! I can't promise when, but it WILL. Don't lose hope!!
All the love ~Lark

ANOTHER close shifting experience.
• so i was basically going to sleep on my side right and i was doing an alunir meditation, but my dad came in and i had to pause it.
• then once he left i went back to bed, still on my side, and just decided to sleep and not continue with the meditation since i was interrupted.
• then like out of nowhere, i think i was maybe just about to fall asleep, i felt the tingling sensations and symptoms and i was affirming that i was going to shift and all that?? im pretty sure i heard my own muffled voice saying the affs but im not sure if it was in this reality or my dr 😭
• as i was lying there i was trying to put myself in my dr bedroom and trying to feel the surroundings around me and, yk when you can feel if you have a wall around you kinda? i remember literally sensing the little rail on the side of my bed?? (i have one of those beds with a barrier) and the wall behind me even though i didn’t have a wall behind me in my cr bedroom.
• when i started to realise what was happening, i was just saying affs so quickly and kinda panicking, which i need to stop doing. like why tf am i so excited im gonna wake up in my dr and probably make a cup of tea and do everything i’d do in my cr, so why tf am i stressing??
• i know i need to fix the panic i experience each time i try to shift, but i have no idea how to fix it! i lose the zone im in once i kinda gain consciousness before i’ve fully shifted, and then feel myself slipping back, like getting just to the top of a hill and then losing momentum and falling back down yk??
• new year’s resolution stop being such a stupid idiot and forgetting to actually put effort once you feel yourself half-shifting ❌❌❌

haii! my name’s em and i wanted to talk about my 2 shifting(?) experiences i had recently (mooties pls ignore this love u🫶)
ive been trying to shift for around 1-2 months now, and ive had 2 experiences with it
1. this one was a few weeks ago. i took a nap and had a very vivid dream. (i think i somewhat aware i was in a dream, not enough to control myself or anything) towards the “end” of the dream (around when i was Waking up) i ended up realizing i was in a dream. i tried to make a portal to my dr (didn’t work lol) and i got freaked out and woke up. i very felt lightheaded afterwards.
2. My second time was just last night. i used a combination of shifting guides on yt but it was mainly the 5 senses method that helped. (i actually think i mini-shifted) i was able to get up from my bed and run my hands along the walls and it actually making a noise, and i was able to press my hand against the window and feel it be extremely cold. i got thrown off bcus i forgot to visualize what the outside of my room looked like LOL, but i was still there. i walked outside and it was very cold. i could see the road and the sidewalk and the streetlights extremely clearly. i found my comfort character and i hugged him and felt an overwhelming sense of relief and love. i actually cried when i “woke up” bcus the feeling was so overwhelming. i felt like i was actually there, but like something was holding me in my cr.
do y’all have any tips on how to fully shift?
