Transmigrator Kaito AU
part 2:
(lol i haven't written any resembling a fic for this au yet but feel free to ask questions)
Kaito's favourite manga is Detective Conan. Instead of crossing over with Magic Kaito, it crosses over with Yaiba.
The Yaiba content annoys Kaito to no end because he's jealous~ He's like "Ugh, crossing Conan over with say like, a Phantom Thief would be perfect! Not Yaiba! >:("
He's definitely read and written Kaitou KID / Detective Conan crossovers HAHAHA
(I still need to do more research about Yaiba but I know there's Yaiba characters in dc so that's why I chose this. Sorry I don't know much about Yaiba but I thought it would be a fun idea)
Kaito picked it up when his dad died and still reads it to this day. Yes, it's long running series too :)) He reads it in his downtime, including before and after heists. He's basically memorised every detail.
Out of all the characters, Conan/Shinichi is Kaito's favourite character. When Kaito got frustrated, he always came back for him. And he's a huuuuge fanboy as well! He knows all the little details >v0 and admires Shin-chan a lot.
I'm still deciding on making this romantic ShinKai or queerplatonic (like some third thing other than platonic and romantic) but eh it's still in the air ig. Kaito adores Shin a lot either way.
Kaito doesn't know that in the final chapter of Conan, it was revealed Shin and Ran decided they had a sibling relationship. Kaito keeps trying to wingman them in increasingly absurd ways that makes Shin think he's actually trying to serenade Ran.
When the final chapter is going to come out, Kaito goes on a heist but everything goes wrong. He ends up finding Pandora, but Snake finds him first and manages to mortally wound him. As he bleeds out on the rooftop, Pandora drenched in blood and lying in his limp hands, Kaito's last regret is how he never got to read the final chapter of Conan.
More details below cut:
~
Suddenly, Kaito wakes up to a vicious pinch in his cheek.
"Ba-kai-to! Wake up! I've been calling you for the last 5 minutes!"
"Ow! A-Aoko?? Wha-"
Kaito raises his head and sees... his normal classroom? Huh? Was everything just a dream? That final heist?
Kaito quickly pats down his chest. Nothing hurts... except for his sore throbbing cheek, and he's clothed in his normal school uniform, not the KID suit.
He keeps glancing around, trying to find any differences. Aoko's still standing in front of his desk, hands on her hips and a concerned look on her face. The classroom hasn't been filled up yet and the board is still freshly cleaned from yesterday, meaning it's the morning and class hasn't started yet. Akako hasn't arrived either. And Hakuba's reading a newspaper about Kudo Shinichi...
Huh?
Kudo Shinichi???
Kaito lunges over his desk. "Hey! Give me that!"
Hakuba is too stunned at the sudden attack.
Kaito rapidly skims through the article .The paper crinkles in his trembling grip.
"Kudo Shinichi, the Heisei Holmes has done it again! He solved another case flawlessly last Monday..."
Hakuba adds hesitantly, "Yes? Kudo Shinichi. He's been making a name for himself recently. It would be a pleasure as a fellow detective to work alongside him one day."
Hakuba says this all naturally, like Shinchi's been real this entire time. Like he wasn't just a manga character yesterday.
Kaito gulps ...There's no mistake. The impossible has happened, and Detective Conan is somehow real.
~ Kaito in this AU is just... a Kudo Shinichi fanboy. He's absolutely ecstatic to challenge Kudo Shinichi. He's even more excited to amaze his critic, and every time they meet, Kaito's pokerface works overtime to hide his delighted blush and adoring grin on his face. Jii is so confused but also very supportive.
... Kaito really wants to squish Shin-chan's cheeks and tease him until his entire face turns a pretty pink, dangers be damned.
Meanwhile Shinichi keeps getting annoyed by this clingy thief who keeps coming back for more. What's so interesting about him anyways??? Why does he keep teasing him???
(This au also includes pre-conan and during conan. Kaito is extremely charmed by Conan and his pokerface works extra-overtime than when he met Shinichi. If that is even possible. After every heist he screams in his pillow and recalls every moment)
Extras:
Kaito takes a solid week to slide himself into the Kudo Shinichi fan-server and cement himself as the Shinichi Expert. After a month he actually gets elected as co-president. Yes he's absolutely insane.
Kaito regularly sends fan letters to Shinichi, even after his 'disappearance'. They always wish Shinichi the best and includes random funny snippets of Kaito's day. They're addressed as "Kai-san" and are pretty polite. They always come with Kaito's genetically engineered blue and red roses that he grows in his garden. He doesn't gift the blue roses to anyone but Shinichi haha
Akako does exist in this universe. It's just that she sensed such a major disturbance that she stayed at home and researched it vigorously to make sure the fabric of space-time wasn't unravelling.
Kaito is like a proud peacock whenever Shin/Cone shows up. He literally pulls out all the stops and Jii is confused, yet very supportive. Agasa who provides the gadget just sighs at the huge and absurd list. It doesn't escape his mind that it happens whenever Conan/Shin attends a KID heist.
OVA 1 is really fun so I thought it would be extra funny for it to be somewhat plausible in this au. Not sure if Yaiba would be turned into a manga series when Magic Kaito becomes the main crossover (if that makes sense). When Kaito robs the sword, he would use his knowledge to cause the most chaos. Yes Kaito read Yaiba out of spite, and also 'know thy enemy, know thyself'

Let’s do Chojiro, and Shinji.
Chojiro Tokumatsu’s name is 徳松 長次郎, Tokumatsu Choujirou.
徳, toku, means benevolence, or virtue.
松, matsu means pine tree, but can also mean highest rank in shouchikubai, as we discussed in Bandit School kids’ names.
長, chou, means great, but in this context it means senior.
For more meanings:
https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/%E9%95%B7
(This is generally translated to mean Super, as in Superheavy Samurai.)
次, ji can mean multiple things, but in this context it means sequence, or numeric order.
https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/%E6%AC%A1
For more meanings. This is also similar to jii-chan (ie. “my grandfather”).
郎, rou, is a suffix meaning son.
*****
**Choujirou is similar to choujiru, which means to grow into adulthood:
https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/%E3%81%A1%E3%82%87%E3%81%86%E3%81%98%E3%82%8B#Japanese
***Literal translation of his name would be Virtuous Pine Son of Next Great/Senior One, I guess.
**Matsu, pine, Kanji alludes to pine cards in hanafuda:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hanafuda
This is the basis of Flower Cardians.
**Rou has the ou (King) sound.
*****
Shinji Weber’s name is シンジ・ウェーバー, is all Katakana.
His surname Weber is likely an allusion to Max Weber, considering his communist political beliefs. But it might be a reference to any group of scientists with the surname.
Other possible meanings of weber:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Weber%E2%80%93Fechner_law
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Weber_test
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Weber_(unit)
Surname itself is the old German word meaning weaver, which is sometimes used as webber, tying into the Insect theme.
https://japanese-names.info/first-name/shinji/
Of these 蒔, ji means to sow plants. Shin in this context might means either faith/trust, or truth.
Literally, it can also mean fourth child, or fourth prince.
****
**The ji sound in Shinji is similar to Choujirou’s name, and has the sequence meaning. This might mean materialistic progress of history in Marxism, or the battalion formation of Battlewasps.
**Much like Shinji in Pokémon Diamond & Pearl animé, Shinji’s name might allude to shinju, pearl. In this case, it can allude to sarira: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%C5%9Aar%C4%ABra
***For other pearl meanings in Buddhism:
http://www.buddhistsymbols.org/preciousjewels.html
**In the context of Yu-Gi-Oh!, shinji is used in Pikeru’s Second Sight (Pikeru no Dokushinjiyutsu), or Eye of Truth (Shinjitsu no me). Shinjiyutsu is meant to be spelled as Shinjutsu though. Outside of this, it is used in shinju (written in hiragana as shinjiyuu), divine beast. So truth sowing meaning is likely the intended meaning.
**His name is written in Katakana, because Jack, and Crow have foreign names. So this matches that.

Life for the dead
Sleep didn't come easily to Hashirama when things were getting complicated and he was tangled in them just like a fly in a spiderweb. Konoha was in trouble after the Fourth War that took the lives of many, the funeral services felt like another reminder of what had happened.
And reminder of him still being here, haunting these streets although he wasn't supposed to do it. He was supposed to be long dead, where his ceiling would be people's ground. He didn't deserve to see any more sunsets or sunrises, it was just as unfair as it was comical. So he was just walking down the park, along the small lake with koi fish, just before the sun came up, wondering if he should at least be useful and take up some missions - or teach a team or two a few tricks he was saving for tough times.
At least he had time to spend with Tsunade although she felt more distant than when she was five years old, but it was probably normal. He still felt like she was this little girl with twin pigtails, laughing like a clown. And she still loved the taste and smell of saké. Saké was actually the only thing Hashirama could lean to last few days. It was a way he was able to bond over a few drinks and card games, although people still looked at him weird. But it was.. manageable.

1, 4, 12, 13 ❤
Hiiii hellooo 😊
1. How old were you when you first starting writing fanfiction?
Goshhhh I feel old haha I started writing when I was like 12-13, but I didn’t start posting until I was 14. My first posted fanfics on Tumblr were for the PJO fandom, and now that I’m re reading them, they´re not thaaat bad. If you wanna laugh a lil at 14 y/o me you can read THIS, THIS and THIS.
4. What is your favourite genre to write for?
ANGSTYYY ROMANCE (if you all have read my fics it’s like 90% that)
12. Who is your favourite character to write for? Why?
OHHH this may cause some people to hate me, but my favorite character to write is Sasuke. I have a love-hate relationship with him. Like I hate him, I hated for for most of shippuden bc I detest his attitude, but I also understand/adore/worship him and I find him a very interesting character. I love how complex he is, and I usually think my Sasuke fics are very accurate to his personality.
13) Who is your least favourite character to write for? Why?
HUMM this is a hard one. I love all the characters I’ve written for, but I think the most challenging has been Neji or Gaara (tho I would die for either of them and will continue to write for both of them forever and always), bc I struggle a little while keeping them on character. I sometimes worry that what I write for them will be ooc, but I think I’m getting better with them now.
Thank you for asking beautiful! you’re always welcome here 💕💖💕💖
Come ask me stuff from THIS game :D

✨Stars: tell me about things that inspire you (for art, music, writing, general life, etc).
*Hi loveee❤ I missed you!^^
I miss you too! <333
Hmm, inspiration...
Okay so for art and writing, I’d say the biggest inspiration is music. If I want an idea, I’ll just put my headphones on and start typing what I see in my head. Keywords, a feeling, a character that comes to mind... This really helps with both, to be honest.
General life? I’d say reading. Reading is the biggest source of inspiration for me in that sense <3

Kaito as the detective and shin as the Kid (shrinking optional)
(Send me an AU and I’ll tell you five headcanons about it)
Robin, you‘ve talked about how the Phandom makes you write like you‘re possessed, and I‘m starting to get what you mean. Literally nothing in DCMK comes to me without it turning into A Monster. Anyways, roleswap Kaito and Shinichi!
Ok so the thing is this could actually work with canon backstories. Kaito’s whole thing is about honoring his dad and catching the guys who killed him, which translates fairly easily into detective work—particularly if he doesn’t know about the Kaitou Kid bit right away. Shinichi is……a bit harder, but he canonically rolls with the weirdest stuff. If you get the right setup, him being Kaitou KID isn’t that much of a stretch.
I know it’s headcanon time but shhhh this is an interesting premise and I have to figure out how we got here.
Ok, so Kaito doesn’t always pick up nuanced crime scene clues, but he reads people really really well. So when he accidentally runs into Jii, and the mention of his father comes up, Jii winces, pained, and Kaito goes “what do you know you absolutely know something and I won’t drop this” and doesn’t let Jii rest until Jii admits that Kuroba Toichi was murdered. Boom, off we go. Nakamori Ginzo half-raised him ever since Toichi died, so it’s a reasonable jump to go straight into detective work. Kaito can’t always read a crime scene, and frankly, the bodies are unsettling to the point of nausea, but he sure can read everyone’s reactions to the body, and, well, some people are only pretending to grieve. What does this madlad do? Does he teach himself to carefully examine all evidence for clues? Well, yes, but that comes later. Right now, he jumps straight into impersonating the deceased’s voice and mannerisms and accusing everyone and, well, people do tend to have nervous breakdowns and confessions when suddenly confronted with their victim’s ghost. Good, Kaito thinks, remembering how much he’s mourned his father. They deserve it.
Off he goes. He’ll get more and more relevant information over time, but that’s about as slow-burn as canon. Meanwhile, he’s making a name for himself as a medium for the dead.
Meanwhile Shinichi’s come across the reports of Kuroba Toichi’s death, and, well, this is definitely a cover up. A few too-close runs later, he realizes it was a cover up from inside the legal system, and that those people are still very much in power. He has a crisis for all of like two days before realizing that Sherlock Holmes took a legally “flexible” approach to confronting in-house corruption, and, well, if Sherlock Holmes can do it then he can too. Sufficient off-the-record digging, plus talking with his dad (who is also, ah, legally flexible), brings up the whole Kaitou Kid thing and look, playing Kaitou Kid was supposed to be a one-time thing to bait people out of the woodwork, but one thing led to another, and here Shinichi is, moonlighting as a dead thief.
Shinichi isn’t more than competent at magic tricks, but he has a few things in his favor here. 1) both Agasa and Jii are helping him, and their team up is a force to behold. Jii keeps the ideas practical, and Agasa makes the ideas work. 2) Shinichi’s dad absolutely knew the last Kaitou Kid inside out, and he’s giving Shinichi helpful pointers. 3) Shinichi may not be good at doing magic, but he’s absolutely incredible at reading and anticipating the police, having a flawless alibi, and leaving no evidence on-scene. Plus, he’s still working his “day job” as a detective, so he also gets stupidly easy access to department gossip, security layouts, and other classified information.
Headcanon time!
Kaito has his beginning of canon meltdown of “EXCUSE ME, this thief is claiming to be the best magician around and he’s WRONG because my DAD was the best.” This is even more vehement because his dad is a more painful topic overall, given that he was murdered. That said, he’s not going to give this thief the time of day because he’s got more important things to do, like catch the murderers. However, Shinichi-in-disguise is casing a building when someone gets murdered there, and Kaito’s like “what is up with this guy.” Shinichi does pause and lend a hand when Kaito gets stuck, because murder is murder no matter what face he’s wearing. After the case is solved, Kaito’s trying to figure out who on earth this is when he realizes it’s Kaitou Kid. But the guy did just help solve a murder. And when he snarls that his father was the better magician, Kaitou Kid just bows his head and agrees. So Kaito has no idea what to make of this dude. Meanwhile Shinichi’s inner dialogue is just “it’s Toichi’s kid, does he know—NOPE HE SURE DOESN’T, UH, WHAT DO I DO??!”
Kaitou Kid respecting Toichi and admiring Kaito’s magic is a recurring thing, much to Kaito’s bemusement. Like. He can tell that it’s genuine, not a way to throw him off guard, although it’s sure doing that, too. One time Kaitou Kid pauses a heist to help with a case, which leads to Kid almost getting caught. Kaito’s still got a lot of complicated feelings around Kid, but it’s not fair that Kid’s getting arrested just because he had the decency to help stop a murderer. So Kaito covers for Kid with a rather good magic trick that “Kid” performs. Kid escapes, but not before giving Kaito the strangest layered look Kaito’s ever seen. He doesn’t even know what was in all those layers, just that there was a lot of grief and that there were upwards of ten layers in there.
Kaito and Shinichi catch onto each other faster than in canon. This is mainly because their weak spots are more obvious to an expert—Kaito’s definitely not talking to ghosts to solve cases, thinks Shinichi the Savior of the Police Force, and Kid’s definitely got a hidden agenda that’s only almost perfectly covered up, thinks Kaito the Undisputed Expert of Poker Face. Kaito has a very rough go of things when he finds out in rapid succession that 1) Kid’s trying to hunt down murderers via a system that might actually be stranger than talking to “ghosts,” 2) Kid’s looking for who killed Kuroba Toichi specifically, and 3) Kuroba Toichi was actually the original Kid. After that, Kid being a teenage detective is just—whatever. Sure. Why not.
There’s a huge police betting pool on what will happen when Kudou “everything has a rational explanation” Shinichi, and Kuroba “I literally talk to ghosts” Kaito meet. Everyone’s sure there will be conflict—people are just trying to work out how it will go down. Turns out that they get on like a house on fire, but to everyone’s great surprise, the houses they set on fire are all criminals, and they don’t try to set each other’s houses on fire at all. Except for Megure. Megure makes bank.
Turns out that when you have two detectives and two phantom thieves on hand, things get done with furious efficiency. Kaito and Shinichi take turns being Kaitou Kid, depending on whose skill set is most useful. Kaito’s better at dodging bullets and at doing insane magic. Shinichi’s better at forcing the snipers to reveal themselves and at getting the police to notice exactly the right things about the snipers. On a detective front, half the Organization’s convinced that 1) their dead victims are actively sabotaging them and 2) if their victims don’t get them, Kudou Shinichi certainly will.
Honestly, from an outside POV, the back third of this series would just be “there are GHOSTS and we are going to DIE and also reality is bending anytime Kaitou Kid shows up—“
RIP to all the undercover agents in the Organization. They’re about to have a Ride.

Hi! @meltedmush I was your secret santa for @dcmksecretsanta this year! I hope you enjoy this fic I wrote :) Merry Christmas!
By Each Other’s Side
TW: historical inaccuracies, stealing, stabbing, swords, overview fic, brief gore, blood, brief mention of marriage WC: 1.6k
I won’t include a synopsis mainly ‘cause I’m bad at those but also just wanna note a change I made which is that Shin and Kaito are older here (20+) and Toichi’s death isn’t way back in the past. Oh and they might be a bit ooc...I haven’t seen dcmk in a while
(And no its not a cheesy romance fic...i just couldn’t come up with a better title)
There were once two counties who lived side by side. They openly traded with each other and didn’t compete for territory. All was peaceful until the sudden death of Emperor Toichi. Outside forces pressured their country, forcefully taking land and harming civilians. The newly crowned emperor, Kaito, was known by the masses as a puppet — unable to make his own decisions and unworthy of the throne. In the public eye, all the power belonged to Empress Dowager Chikage and perhaps in a sense, they were right.
However, unbeknownst to those mocking him, Emperor Kaito was busy resolving the issues of his citizens who lived at the borders. He wore the clothes of the common people and investigated those areas in secret, finding many corrupt officials who have risen to power without his knowledge. They stole from the rations given by the court and took many of the harvests of the local areas for themselves — barely leaving anything for the farmers and craftsmen who lived there.
How dare they.
One night, against the advice of his personal assistant, Kaito donned a mask and snuck into the homes of the officials. It was past midnight. Many of the village’s people have fallen asleep. At most, a candle was still lit but that was nothing to Kaito as he snuck past guards who were on the verge of sleep. “This is nothing.” He thought with a hint of mischief that would’ve been scoffed at in court. He found his way to the office and unlocked a vault hidden behind a bookshelf.
Inside were many piles of gold and silver taels. Several books worth double or triple the salaries of the official were also inside. Kaito let out a low whistle as he inspected the vault. He produced a small leather bag from his robes and scooped up a handful of gold. “These should go back to where they came from.” He whispered as he took one last lookover the vault before silently closing it and leaving.
His assistant, Jii, looked like he was going to explode with worry when Kaito got back. Babbling over and over again about how it was inappropriate for an emperor to steal from his own citizens. Well. That scolding all went in one ear and out the other.
Before the sun rose, Kaito left five taels of gold in front of each of the households. “It should be enough to last them a while.” He told Jii as they left for the capital. Unbeknownst to Kaito, that act of his would later encourage many others to don the mask of ‘Kid’ — an elusive thief who steals from corrupt officials and gives the wealth to the needy.
Kaito reported everything he found to his Empress Mother and went to court the next day. As per usual, the officials had nothing new to say. One brings up the idea of sending an envoy to their ally country to ask for assistance. Kaito considered it for a moment before agreeing. “This one will go.” He declared right there and then.
A couple days later, he was back on the road with Jii at his side along with a carriage of offerings. “Your majesty, was it necessary for you to make this trip yourself?”
“Not really but I’d rather go out than debate with those old men.” Kaito yawned as he loosened his posture on the horse.
They arrived in the neighboring country with little fanfare yet much to Kaito’s surprise he would see a familiar face at the gate. “Prince Shinichi.” He bowed after getting off the horse.
“No need for the formalities.” Shinichi waved him off. “I hope you had a good trip.” He smiled as he clasped his hands behind his back. “Let’s head to the palace before we talk more.”
The corner of Kaito’s lip twitched before he really ignored all formalities and wrapped an arm around Shinichi’s shoulders. “I haven’t seen you in over five years and this is how you treat me?”
Shinichi cleared his throat, covering his mouth with a hand. “We’re in public.” He snapped before walking off without waiting for Kaito.
“Hey! Come on. You’re so cold.” He shouted as he quickly handed Jii the reins to his horse and chased after Shinichi.
~
Kaito met with the emperor and empress. He asked for assistance in defending his territories while he was still establishing his reign. However, much to his surprise, they refused, stating that since Kaito’s country was under siege it was only a matter of time before it reached the borders of their own country. Kaito understood and thanked them regardless. He left the gifts he prepared for them and left the country that very same night.
Shinichi’s heart flared with worry. Kaito never left before teasing him a good amount. He could only take a deep breath in and hope that nuisance was okay.
Barely a month passed before the news of the fall of Kaito’s country made its way to court. Shinichi almost lost his footing after hearing it. He couldn’t help but ask if there was any news of the emperor. The informer could only nervously shake his head in refusal, probably afraid of what Shinichi might do to him if he spoke out of turn.
“I thought so.” Were the only words Shinichi could say. His eyes were downcast and his tone was that of disappointment.
The topic was quickly changed and they began discussing what to do with the refugees who have crossed the border. Shinichi tried to listen, knowing it was important for him to know something like this for when he eventually would become the emperor. However, the only thing he could hear was buzzing. It was like his brain was shutting down at the news that Kaito might’ve died.
This thought of his was refuted long after it was made.
Several years passed without a word about Kaito when on that fateful day, an army charged through the capital city with Kaito as their general. The useless emperor shed his mask and became the leader of an army with no losses. He stood at the gate of the palace and demanded that the royal couple come out and surrender.
Shinichi prohibited his parents from leaving the palace and instead, went out himself. The corners of his eyes felt a little wet as he saw Kaito again in front of him, even if that said person held a sword to his throat. “You’re alive.” He said beneath his breath while a small smile came over his usually calm face. Shinichi schooled his expression back to how it normally is and fell to his knees. “We surrender. I am willing to do as you wish, just don’t harm the common folk.” He pressed his forehead to the ground. “And my parents.”
“Take him back with us.” Kaito commanded, not sparing Shinichi another glance. Shinichi was roughly brought onto his feet. Soldiers stood to his left and right, dragging him towards a carriage and throwing him inside. After a while, the carriage began to move and the sights of the capital left his sights. He closed his eyes and took a nap.
When he awoke, he was in front of court. His hair was taken out of its crown and was left loose. A guard to either side of him pushed him onto his knees. His gaze didn’t waver above the floor. Shinichi knew that if he looked up he wouldn’t be able to stop.
“Your majesty, I propose we kill him.”
“Your majesty, I propose we make him a prince.”
Proposal, after proposal, they all flew over Shinichi’s head. He couldn’t be bothered to listen to their chatter. The officials argued amongst themselves for a while before they were silenced.
“Give me your sword.” Kaito gestured an open hand to a guard at his side. They handed him the sword with no hesitation. He calmly walked towards Shinichi and grabbed his chin, forcing him to look up.
Shinichi’s eyes were cold yet red in the corners. He didn’t resist when Kaito forced his head up. “Do your worst.” He whispered between gritted teeth.
“This is going to hurt.” Kaito inhaled as he unsheathed the sword. In one swift move, he stabbed Shinichi through his midsection. “Sorry.” He whispered the moment he got close.
Shinichi’s face paled. A pool of blood started to form around his knees. Kaito swiftly pulled out the sword and dismissed everyone with a wave. Within seconds they all left, cautious not to invoke the emperor’s rage.
The moment the last person left, Kaito rushed to Shinichi’s side. “Are you okay?”
“What do you think?” Shinichi scoffed, leaning his head against Kaito’s arm.
“I’ll call the imperial doctor.” Kaito tried to stand up before being pulled back down by Shinichi. “But.”
“I’m going to be fine.” Shinichi took a deep breath and closed his eyes. “Just take me to a room far away from people.” Later that day, Kaito told the court to announce the death of Prince Shinichi.
A month or two later, it was announced that Kaito would marry an empress. At the same time, chaos was bubbling in court as Kaito wanted to let the Emperor and Empress from Shinichi’s former country to serve under him. He fought hard and didn’t allow anyone to decline him.
The marriage surprised the entire country. Everyone thought Kaito would be marrying a lady from a respectable family. However, on the day itself, the person at Kaito’s side was a man. They couldn’t see his face but the figure was definitely one of a man. Kaito announced that day that his bride was named ‘Edogawa Conan.’

Ahh... Also 15 hehe I'm curious :"
15) If you write OC’s, how do you decide on their names?
This is an interesting one and it has a long answer, because I also write original fiction aside from fanfic!
Usually I try to think first what vibes the character gives me. Then I kinda just start saying syllables at random out loud (yes I look ridiculous when I do that), until I like the sound of something. Then I do my research on google, to see what real names look like with those sounds, and then I look a lil bit onto the meaning and those things.
Other times, the names just appear in my brain at random yaknow? like i’ll know the character’s name before knowing anything else about them.
Also for the a well loved copy fic, I wrote it while I was reading Before the Coffee Gets Cold, and I really liked the names in the book so I used some names from it, and Yume’s name was suggested by @seventh-line.
Thank you for asking!!
Come ask me stuff from THIS game, it’s so fun
