I don't have much fun when I'm drunk cause I end up crying 90% of the time lol but one time I was at a party and started doing tarot readings for some reason. A group of people gathered around me, we were sitting down in a circle and I felt like I was jesus giving lessons to the kids. One dude freaked out because it was super accurate (lol) and threw up on himself (he was obviously super drunk)

I'm good at cooking and I guess drawing lol (I'm a professional artist)

It's my current one, 4.5 years

Benzaiten (弁財天): the Japanese form of Saraswati, auspicious goddess of everything that “flows” (water, music, speech, knowledge etc) often shown holding a biwa lute

Yahata no megami (八幡女神): one of the mythical “mothers” of emperor Ojin (the other one being famous empress Jingu), considered as an incarnation of the god of war Hachiman who tamed demons

Okamuzumi no megami (大神実女神): a goddess embodying proto-Japan’s take on China’s peach of eternity, used in some myths by Izanagi to ward off demons

Oto Tachibana hime (乙橘姫): wife of the mythical prince Yamato Takeru, who threw herself into raging waves to appease Watatsumi the god of the sea and save her people

Shinatsu hime (志那都姫): a goddess of wind born after Izanagi and Izanami created the eight islands of Japan. Those primordial winds, sometimes female sometimes male, are also given other names depending on the text

Himiko (卑弥呼): legendary priestress queen said to have ruled during Yayoi period. Here she is depicted wearing a necklace of magatama beads - amulets powerful enough to be part of Japan’s imperial treasures

i’m very bad with horror movies and jump scares but i love them anyway so everyone always says it’s a pain to watch a movie with me bc i’ll keep getting spooked even if nothing scary is actually happening atm but i’m just so skittish

La Dolce Vita- What’s a talent of yours that you try to keep hidden from other people?

i don’t think there’s any talent i try to hide...although something i rarely mention these days would be that i’m a pretty good writer and i used to really enjoy writing both fanfiction and original works! then things happened and it’s been quite a while since i last actually wrote something, it would be nice to start it again someday.

recommend me some finished novels pleaaaase

oh dear, i wish i could be of more help than i am now! because i dived into novels pretty recently and most of those i picked up are far from being translated (though they all have status completed in original, which makes me hopeful to see those some day)

but what really got me into the whole chinese novels and why i prefer historical/cultivation worlds was ‘mo dao zu shi’, widely known as grandmaster of demonic cultivation. it’s one of a kind really, the author doesn’t spare time creating a wonderful world and amazing story, that is filled with many tragic events, but is still an amazing adventure.

which made me pick up latest work by the same author - heaven official’s blessing - and i say this is a must read, it’s so charming, characters are amazing, the story is wonderful. i know it’s not finished yet, but i know the place where this novel is updated almost daily and progressed farther than anywhere.

other one i’m currently involved in is also unfinished, but is a story-driven, the kind i like - sha po lang - like a cross-over with ancient china and steampunk. it’s really unusual for me, but is quite epic tbh.

just like today finished - quickly wear the face of the devil - which came to me as a pretty interesting one, because i tried few others in-between, which had same themes but i dropped them due to them being kinda stupid, but i finished this one without stops and some parts of it were really good, like really good.

in case i come across something interesting i always try to share it. so with my further exploration i hope to discover more gems i can share.
