I received around two ASKs last month about the sketches of my latests pieces so i thought might as well do a post about it and answer both.

lately i've been trying to get better at art, even if slowly considering college and life in general, so i'm taking more of my sweet time with the sketches.

and by that i mean taking more time picking the colors, imagining the scenarios and the framing of the picture along with the pose. sometimes there are a few last minute changes but overall the main idea remains.

i wanted to learn how to draw and paint things like water, sky, clouds and sand, so i thought i could make it into something fun instead of just studying, so i began drawing things with a beach thematic to force myself to do the studies right in a sense.

i will eventually branch out the themes — i've been especially been wanting to draw cat cafe themed things for a while now — and draw more characters and such, especially ones i haven't yet.

the summer hikaru died vol 1 cover but it's kirino and shindou.

once i got the idea in my head i just had to draw it. genuinely, i had so much fun doing this its unreal. as always, the og lineart always comes out the best but im pretty satisfied with this one too ^_^

for the record i only read the first volume so far but i wanna read more! put tragic best friends in my hands and im SOLD
