As a writer and also a Shawol, I will still write about Jonghyun. Not because I’m trying to be disrespectful or anything, but it’s because I want to. I’m doing it for the community of grieving Shawols that may need it for some closure and some comfort.

Boundaries are so much better than avoiding him all together, like deciding not to make smut fanfics of him since other types of stories can be made that includes him, but overall I feel like all resources like these should be provided for anyone that needs it.

Us Blingers already have to go through a lot. Having to see our bias get excluded from all SHINee activities and (some of us) getting harassed by people over his passing is already hard as it is. A story can go a long way for someone, and could even make them feel safe through reading. By including him, you’re giving your readers a space they never thought they had. A friend of mine found a writer that includes Jonghyun and it really helped him so much that it encouraged him to publish his own stories he has made of him. This was a smut story as well and it really made him feel less weird about having these thoughts even though he already passed.

So go ahead and be unapologetic about your Jonghyun stories. If anyone tries to harass you over it, just know that you’re not making those books for them, but you’re doing it just to help a community of people that needs it as well as yourself, and that, my friend, is the most beautiful thing a writer can ever do.

With all these years of being a Shawol and a Blinger, I had realised that you could summon other Blingers or 5hawols if you or that person comes out as such. All you have to do is mention Jonghyun’s tiddies and they should reply something like “Not gonna lie, he does have some nice tiddies.”

Congratulations. You had found a Blinger/5hawol in the wilderness. But let’s be real, we all knew that, right?
