ok so I was rewatching ep 9 and I realized some things.

when they said that “oh Wolf gets too attached” etc, I thought “oh yeah, he cares a lot, and he’s super committed, etc” Tell me, TELL ME, why I didn’t realize until now what “super empathetic and attached” actually means for Wolf.

He actually feels for them, quite a lot actually. Like he does the “teary-eyed, kinda crying ish thing” with his eyeballs when he finds out Gabriel’s wife died in the crash. And he does it at some other points in the ep too. I mean this not in the Van MTS way, but you know what, I feel like Wolf totally deals with hyper empathy. I wouldn’t be surprised (I would be if they actually confirmed it though) if he was actually meant to be coded as autistic, rather than just the general assumption based on fan viewership. Also, is the face blindness considered neurodivergence? I’m not too educated on this topic, but when I’ve tried looking it up I came back with mixed answers.

Also, speaking about neurodivergence, I totally feel my girl Ericka is somewhere on the spectrum. She reminds me a lot of some of my neurodivergent friends, especially in her perfectionism and her overall interactions with the other characters. Maybe that’s what Ericka’s “neurology thing” is? Idk, just word dumping here.

anyway, yes go canon queer neurodivergent lead in a mainstream television show, we love seeing that representation here! 😌👏
