If there’s a character you’d like me to do but they’re not on the list, assume I have no idea who they actually are.
Please keep asks civil and polite :)
Again I don’t do smut, please don’t send asks about that stuff.

Airworthy P-51 Mustangs, 2019, Part 2
Part 1

Tumblr media
Overall silver finish, blue nose, D-Day invasion stripes under fuselage and wings, black-and-white checkered rudder, PE-R fuselage code, Excalibur nose art on port side.  The aircraft has had an uneventful civilian life, only undergoing a single rebuild after a major crash in 1966.  It is currently based in the Czech Republic.
P-51D, Nooky Booky IV, 44-74427, JCB Aviation
Tumblr media
Overall silver finish, olive-drab upper nose, red-and-yellow checkered nose, extensive kill markings on port side, G4-C fuselage code.  The aircraft served with the RCAF until 1959 when it entered civilian hands; it suffered two major incidents while owned by North American Rockwell Corp. in the late 1960s, the latter caused by exploding oxygen bottles.  It was shipped to France in 1998 and passed through several owners there since.
P-51D, Moonbeam McSwine, 44-73656, Warbird Heritage Foundation
Tumblr media
Overall silver finish, blue nose and rudder, extensive kill markings on port side, HO-W fuselage code, Moonbeam McSwine nose art on port side.  The aircraft served with both the Colorado and Minnesota ANGs postwar before entering civilian hands and being rebuilt by Cavalier Aircraft for service with the Fuerza Aérea Salvadoreña in 1968.  By 1974 it had returned to the US and joined the air racing circuit; it flew in USAF Heritage Flights at airshows frequently through the 2000s, before being shipped to France in 2012 and returning stateside after a 2018 sale.
P-51D, See Me Later, 44-72773, Meier Motors
Tumblr media
Overall silver finish, red nose, white rudder, D-Day invasion stripes under fuselage and wings, Grim Reaper nose art on port side, WD-U fuselage code.  The aircraft served with the Texas ANG postwar until 1958 when it entered service with the Nicaraguan Air Force.   After passing through several civilian owners in the US it traveled to the UK where it remained until 2007; it then traveled to Germany under the livery of Lucky Lady VII.  The current livery was applied in 2016 after another German sale.

Tumblr media
Overall gray finish, black-and-yellow checkered nose, yellow rudder, D-Day invasion stripes under fuselage, LH-C fuselage code, Jay Hawk Jalopy nose art on port side.  The aircraft served briefly with the New Jersey ANG postwar before being purchased and used on a Hollywood film set; the wingless fuselage was discovered and restored in 1980 with parts from an ex-Israeli P-51.  It flew under the livery of Huntress III for eventually being sold overseas in 2007.
P-51D, Dream Girl, 44-73871, Max Alpha Aviation
Tumblr media
Overall silver finish, black upper nose, post-war national insignia, TF-871 fuselage code, Dream Girl nose art.  The aircraft originally served with the RCAF until 1956 before heading to Israel for several years; Cavalier Aircraft owned it for much of the 1970s.  It was fully restored as a TF-51D by Chino in 1991 and ownership has been passed every few years since then.  The current German owners acquired the aircraft in 2007.
P-51D, Shangri-La, 44-72934, Humberto Lobo
Tumblr media
Overall silver finish, red propeller spinner and rudder, red-and-white checkered nose, VF-T fuselage code, Shangri-La art on both sides of the nose.  There is very little information on the aircraft until 1991, when it was restored by Pioneer Aero Service; it passed through several owners in rapid succession before eventually being sold to the current owner in 1996.  It is rarely seen in the US.

Tumblr media
Overall silver finish, yellow propeller spinner and rudder, red-and-blue checkered nose, D-Day invasion stripes on fuselage and wings, OC-G fuselage code.  The aircraft served with the RCAF until 1958 before passing into civilian hands.  It changed owners every few years until 1994, when it traveled to the Netherlands and its current owner.

Tumblr media
Overall silver finish, yellow rudder, yellow-and-black checkered nose, LH-X fuselage code, late-war national insignia.  The aircraft served with the RAAF until 1948 and remained in Australia until 1982 when it returned to the US for restoration.  It passed through several owners before making its way to New Zealand in 2004; as of 2014 it had been listed for sale by Platinum Fighter Sales, but the new owner is not listed.
P-51D, Rudolph, 44-74829, Strikemaster Ltd
Tumblr media
Overall silver finish, black upper nose, red propeller spinner, RCAF roundel and fin flash, black-and-red checkered bars flanking roundel.  The aircraft served with the RCAF until 1959, when it entered the US civilian market.  It was used to rebuild another P-51 in 1979 and was finally restored to airworthiness in 1984 before being shipped to New Zealand where it has remained since.

Tumblr media
Overall silver finish, black upper nose, red propeller spinner, red-and-black lighting bolt design running length of fuselage, late-war national insignia, black 405 on tail, taller vertical stabilizer than usual.  The aircraft was a rebuild by Cavalier in the 1960s and served with the Salvadoran Air Force until 1974 when it returned to the US.  It was sold to a Swedish owner in 2006.  While it is listed as 44-10753 this is not the original serial number, which has been lost to rebuilds.
P-51D, Ferocious Frankie, 44-73149, MSO Air & Space Museum
Tumblr media
Overall silver finish, yellow nose, olive-drab upper fuselage, D-Day invasion stripes on wings and lower fuselage, B7-H fuselage code, kill markings on cockpit rim, Ferocious Frankie nose art on port side.  The aircraft served with the RCAF until 1957 and flew the racing circuit briefly postwar before being sent overseas to Duxford in 1980.  It was sold to a Turkish air museum in late 2017.
P-51D, Tall in the Saddle, 44-72035, Hangar 11 Collection
Tumblr media
Overall silver finish, red propeller spinner and tail, blue band around nose, late-war national insignia, A3-3 fuselage code.  The aircraft served briefly with the 364th Fighter Group in Italy before returning to the US and serving with the Oklahoma ANG until 1957.  It reappeared in Colombia in 1981 and in 1988 was restored as Jumpin Jacques by a French owner, the livery it flew in until 2016.
P-51D, Miss Helen, 44-72216, Robert Tyrrell
Tumblr media
Overall silver finish, blue nose and tail, late-war national insignia, HO-M fuselage code, kill markings on cockpit rim.  The aircraft served with the 352nd Fighter Group from Jan 1945 in the current livery; postwar it served with the Swedish Air Force from 1948-1953, when it was sold to the Israeli Air Force.  It was recovered from an Israeli playground in 1976 and slowly restored at Duxford through the 1980s.  It appeared in Memphis Belle as Miss L in an olive-drab paint scheme.
Two parts down, approximately nine more to go.

7 huge Emmerdale fan theories that will blow your mind
What's next for the villagers? The superfans have some ideas.
Emmerdale fan theories, Cain Dingle, Robert Sugden, Moira Dingle.
In recent months, Emmerdale has really gained momentum. With new arrivals, flashback surprises during the special Big Night Out episodes, heartbreaking and hard-hitting storylines for Victoria and Lisa and, of course, the gripping twists in abusive Maya's downfall – it's been exciting stuff.
We all know one sign of a great soap storyline is if it gets fans talking. Currently, Emmerdale has a wealth of fan theories about what might happen next. Social media has been rife with speculation and we've put together some of the best theories for you to ponder over. Do they sound probable or are they way off the mark?
1. Victoria will give her baby to Robron
Victoria Barton confides in Moira Dingle in Emmerdale
ITV
One of the biggest Emmerdale theories of the moment centres around the outcome of Victoria's pregnancy after her horrific rape. As this storyline has played out in parallel to Robert and Aaron's struggling surrogacy plans, fans have put two and two together and speculated that Vic will give her baby to Robron.
While we know Victoria is pregnant, not much has been said yet about whether she plans to go ahead and have the baby. With brother Robert desperate to have a child with his husband Aaron, could Victoria's tragedy have an unexpected outcome for all three of them?
In truth, we have our doubts on this one, as it wasn't so long ago that Victoria was desperate for a baby herself, so we'll just have to wait and see what she decides...
I'm wondering if Victoria will have her baby and give it to Robron #emmerdale

Robert and Aaron are going to bring up Victoria’s baby aren’t they #emmerdale

2. Maya has groomed other boys
Maya Stepney in the woods in Emmerdale
ITV
Ever since manipulative Maya began worming her way into Jacob's affections, viewers have wondered whether she has done this before. She might have protested her innocence to the police and Jacob's loved ones, but her efforts to groom him have shown a clever and vindictive woman at work. Could it be that there are other victims of Maya out there? Could they be the cause of her downfall?
Viewers were quick to pick up on ex-husband Liam Cavanagh's reaction to her arrest and after all, it was Leanna who tried to warn the villagers what Maya was like long before we saw her true colours. Will it emerge that Maya has done this before?
Now it's out in the open it wouldn't surprise me if it turns out that Maya has done this before. #Emmerdale
— Penn Wooding (@BrixhamUK) May 22, 2019
Going to guess that this grooming #Emmerdale storyline will finally end with the revelation that Maya has done this before and that Maya isn’t her name.
Yes, I watch Emmerdale. 🐏🐄🐓

3. Laurel and Jai set to be Emmerdale's next big romance
Charlotte Bellamy as Laurel Thomas in Emmerdale
ITV
Forget Robron, Coira or Vanity – could Emmerdale's next biggest ship be Jaurel? After Laurel's disastrous affair with Bob, are producers lining up her next romance with another unlikely admirer? Fans think they've spotted sparks in the Sharma sweet factory between Jai and Laurel, and they've certainly been spending more time together in recent months.
Since Jai's last relationship with con artist Nell ended badly, he's been on his own and even actor Chris Bisson expressed interest in Jai having a bit of happiness. What do you reckon, could that be with Laurel?
Anyone else getting the feeling that Laurel and Jai are going to end up together? #Emmerdale
— Anzi (@Monkey_Moom) April 10, 2019
Is it me or are we getting Jai & Laurel vibe? 😊 #Emmerdale
— Sulagna (@maitra_sulagna) April 10, 2019
Think there's going to be a Jai and Laurel romance.. #Emmerdale @ITV
— Eleri (@EleriEdwards) March 21, 2019
4. Moira or Cain will cheat
Moira Dingle in Emmerdale
It hasn't gone unnoticed that things have been strained between Cain and Moira of late. With Cain spending more time with ex-flame Harriet, and Moira left to confide in new farmhand Nate, even the couple themselves seem to be aware they've hit a rough patch. With frostiness at Butler's and each of them spending more alone time with others, could this be a sign that Coira are doomed to split?
Theories circulating have predicted Cain might return to the arms of Harriet again or Nate's attraction to an older woman might mean he'll bunk up with Moira.
But Coira fans might not need to worry too much yet as actor Jeff Hordley's recent interview on This Morning suggested Cain and Moira are solid. Unless this was just to throw us off the scent...
I really don't understand where emmerdale going with the Cain/Harriet and Moira/Nate. I just know they love messing the Cain and Moria fans around. I just want them to have a decent storyline. Not in involving exs. I'm not worried about Coria they love each other ☺☺☺#Emmerdale
— Royal Princess Alice Rinderette 😘😘😘😘😊😊 (@WoodhouseAlice) May 16, 2019
Still can't help but feel the writers of emmerdale are going to split Coira up .Cain getting close to Harriet and then Moira cosies up to Nate not feeling positive but normally turns out ok

5. Is Mandy Dingle dying?
Chas Dingle attacks Mandy Dingle in Emmerdale
ITV
You might think the Dingles have had enough tragedy in recent times, but that doesn't stop fans speculating that there's more on the way. When Mandy Dingle returned earlier this year, she hinted that she hadn't revealed her biggest secret, and left without another word. While some fans predicted that her son Vinny could be Paddy's, others had more heartbreaking ideas.
Could Mandy's real secret be a terminal illness? Was her brief visit to Emmerdale to set up a later story where she makes peace with her family and comes home to die? Whatever Mandy's secret, we'd love to see Lisa Riley back in the village – her fun return was all too brief.
Is Mandy ill?? #Emmerdale

6. Jamie's mystery caller is Joe Tate
Alexander Lincoln as Jamie Tate in Emmerdale
ITV
There's no better way to get soap fans speculating than by throwing in a mystery phone call. Newcomer Jamie Tate has so far seemed nice as pie compared to his mother Kim, despite being embroiled in a car accident in his first week. Nevertheless, Jamie seemed clean cut until we saw he was hiding a secret – twelve missed calls.
Fans' thoughts immediately turned to Joe, once presumed dead and now AWOL somewhere in the world. Could it be him who's trying to get in touch with his estranged uncle? Or is there someone else desperate to get in touch with Jamie?
I bet you that’s joe ringing jamie #emmerdale
— 🌚 (@nottjayy) May 16, 2019
Did anyone else notice Jamie having missed calls from an unknown number? It's Joe Tate!!! He's coming home! 😀
— Dan (@DanONeil95) May 16, 2019
7. Adam Barton will make a return to the village
Victoria and Adam Barton fear Pete has threatened their adoption chances in Emmerdale
After Victoria's rape ordeal, we've only just begun to watch her heartbreaking story. But some viewers are already predicting there will be light at the end of the tunnel. Could a return of Victoria's ex-husband Adam Barton give her back some happiness?
We've seen how much Victoria misses him and with actor Adam Thomas reportedly keen to return, we wouldn't rule it out. But just what would this mean for Moira and her killer secret?
@emmerdale I think Victoria will keep the baby and Adam returns #Emmerdale
— Tam LizAnn ODriscoll (@tamlizann) May 9, 2019
Victoria will give the baby to Robert and Aaron and go in search of Adam her true love

Imagine JARVIS never stops hacking into SHIELD files after Avengers first movie (Obie taught him a lesson and he wanted to protect Sir after the nuke was sent out) and of course after a while discovers Hydra, the files of the Winter Soldier and of course the mission report of December 16, 1991. Tony has time to come to terms with the fact, therefore searches for Bucky, destroying Hydra on the way, gets rid of the mind control (BARF) and later they fall in love.
prompts, winteriron, tony stark, bucky barnes, tony x bucky,February,2014
“Wakeup, Daddy’s home.” The lights in the workshop flickered to life, but it seemed empty without DUM-E and U coming to greet him.
“Goodevening, sir,” JARVIS said. “And may I say what a relief it is tohave you home. Again.”
“Thanks,Jay,” Tony said. He dropped into the workstation chair and rubbedabsently at his chest. It was strange, not to have the arc reactoranymore. Helen -- you could call your doctor by their given name oncethey’d literallyhadyour heart in their hands, right? -- Helen had done an amazing jobwith the reconstructive surgery.
“ShallI contact the usual suppliers to see about having the Malibu houserebuilt?” JARVIS asked.
Tonyconsidered it. It would take months to rebuild the place, while therepairs and upgrades to Stark Tower had been completed months ago.Bruce was already here; Tony might as well just move back to NewYork, finally get around to issuing invitations to the rest of theAvengers. “Not yet,” he said. “Arrange to have the bratsrecovered and I’ll drive out and bring ‘em back here.”
“Verygood, sir,” JARVIS said. “If you have no urgent business, I’veuncovered some information that you might wish to review.” Adisplay screen came to life and began spitting up windows ofinformation.
Tonyfrowned. “What am I looking at?”
“Whileyou were in recovery, sir, I took it upon myself to do some digging.Surmising that you would wish to know why SHIELD was not already incontrol of the Mandarin situation, I re-activated the backdoor codewe inserted into their mainframes.”
“Thesefiles are way older than that,” Tony said, flicking through them.“These go back decades.”
“Yes,sir,” JARVIS said delicately. “It appears that SHIELD may becompromised. I do urge you to particularly review the files that I’veflagged for your attention. And, sir... I’m sorry.”
[mobile readers, ‘ware the read-more!]
March,2014
“Whatthe hell, Rogers,” Tony demanded, before he’d even pushed all theway through the hospital room door. Steve’s new guy, Wilson, boltedupright in the terrible visitor’s chair. Good reflexes. The instantWilson realized who Tony was, his eyes went big and round. Fast onthe uptake, too.
“You,I like you,” Tony said, clapping Wilson on the shoulder. “Come toNew York soon, we’ll get you some new wings.” He turned back tothe bed. Christ, but Cap was a mess. “I repeat, Rogers: what. Theactual. Hell.”
Stevecracked an eyelid -- the one that wasn’t surrounded by a mass ofbruises and stitched shut around the occipital bone. “Nice to seeyou too, Tony.”
“Youdon’t call, you don’t write,” Tony complained. “Bruce and I,we’re hurt, you didn’t invite us to the party.”
Stevetried to laugh and it turned into a weak cough. “C’mon, Tony, youknow I’m not gonna call the heavy hitters for the little stuff.”
“Thelittle stuff, like our purported leadership being riddled withHydra?” Tony challenged. “Or stuff like their number one assassinbeing your old right hand man?”
Thehumor fell off Steve’s face in a hurry. “You knew?”
“Onlyfor a couple of weeks,” Tony said. “JARVIS was vacationing inSHIELD’s systems and stumbled across some red flags. I tipped Furyoff that something was rotten and he asked me to keep it under my hatwhile he set up a sting. That bastard plays things so close to thechest that his own ribs can’t see the cards.”
“Youknew about Bucky,” Steve said, sounding even more breathless.
“Yeah, well, it took me a while to figure out what to do about that, soyou’ll have to excuse me for not texting you right away with myreview of the videofootage of him murdering my parents,”Tony snapped.
Stevewent even paler than he already was. “He-- Shit, Tony, I’m sorry.Zola told me Hydra had them killed, but I didn’t realize they’dused Bucky to do it.”
“Soit looks like we’re both guilty of holding back information,”Tony said. “Were you going to tell me?”
Steve’smouth tightened. “I’ve been a little busy, the last few days,”he said. “Hadn’t quite worked it all through yet.”
“Well, you’re you,”Tony said, more lightly than he felt. “I’m sure you’d havedecided to do what was right.” He glanced at Wilson, then lookedback at Steve. “Romanov says you’re planning to go after him.”
“Ofcourse I am,” Steve said, because of course he was. “Tony, it...it wasn’t him.You know that, right?”
Tonyhad to close his eyes. “Yeah,” he sighed. “If I’d had him infront of me right after I found out, I don’t know what I would’vedone, but... Once I calmed down and thought it through, I knew. Dadrecognizedhim, and he didn’t even--” Tony had to stop, to swallow around a tightthroat.
Stevelooked grim. “I’m sorry, Tony. I am.”
“Yeah,”Tony managed. “We’re going to make those assholes pay, though.”
“Damnright we will,” Steve agreed. “For your parents andforBucky. And undo whatever they put in his head.”
“Well,I’ve got some thoughts about that,” Tony said. “A littlesomething Bruce and I were working on together. You work on findingyour boy, and I’ll see what we can do about bringing him back.”
July 2015
“It’scalled Binarily Augmented Retrofitted Framing,” Tony said. “BARFfor short, and don’t say it -- we’re working on a new acronym.”
Atthe other end of the table, flanked by Steve and Sam, Bucky Barnesstared at his hands where they were clasped in front of him. “Hydrahad a device, too,” he said, almost too quiet for Tony to hear. Heswallowed, licked his lips, swallowed again. “It... hurt.”
“Yeah,I’ve seen the specs,” Tony said. “They were literally burningout chunks of your brain. The initial concept for BARF was traumarecovery -- specifically, I was going to use it on myself, and I am very attached to alltheparts of my brain, so while it’s not exactly a skip through thepark, it’s not going to cause any physicaldamage. The way this works...” Tony considered ways to explain how thememory retrofit worked. None of the men at the other end of the tablewere lacking in intelligence, but they weren’t geniuses, either.“You ever been in an argument, and then hours later, thought of theperfect thing to say, too late to actually say it? And you keepreplaying that conversation over and over in your head, wishing you’dthought of it at the right moment, to the point where sometimes thatreplay is a stronger memory than the actual event? This is like that, but a hundred times stronger and faster. It can’t change what’shappened, obviously, but it can adjust your responsetoit, let you rebuild the lesson that you took away from it.”
“Andit will fix me?” Barnes said, intent. “It will take theselandmines out of my head?”
“Ibelieve so,” Tony said. “You’re a special case, so we won’tknow for certain until we give it a shot, but I feel pretty confidentabout it.”
Barnesworried at his lip with his teeth.
“Youdon’t have to do this,” Steve said, earnest and sorrowful.“You’ll have to witness the worst of the things they did to you.I can’t imagine how unpleasant that would be. We can find anotherway.”
“WhileI just while away my days in the Hulk Room?” Barnes said, not quitesharp. “Maybe it shouldbeunpleasant. Maybe that would be the smallest amount of justice forthe lives I took.”
“Buck,”Steve said. Tony could hear the crack in his voice from across theroom. “That wasn’t you. I keep telling you--”
“Itwas my hands,” Barnes said. He turned his hands over, as ifsearching for evidence of the blood they’d spilled. “I did it.Maybe I didn’t make that choice. But I did it anyway.” He lookedup at Tony, and it wasn’t until that moment Tony realized, with astart, that it was the first time Barnes had met Tony’s eyes sinceSteve had brought him to the Tower.
Barneshad pale blue eyes, almost the color of silver, and that gaze wassteady. “I’ll do it. Set it up.”
Theyset it up in the Hulk Room, in case Barnes was triggered. No one elsewould be able to see what he saw, Tony promised. Tony had done aprojection for the presentation at MIT, but that wasn’t a necessarycomponent of the system. And Tony figured, some things a man wantedto keep private.
Onthe other side of the glass, all Tony would be able to see werevitals and brainwave patterns, adrenaline levels and involuntarymuscle responses. Because Steve was hovering like a nervous newparent, Tony went through a session himself to show them what itlooked like from the outside, with Bruce at the monitoring station.
Hetook himself through the wormhole again, made himself stare up intothe black space and count the alien ships in their thousands. Iwill survive this,he told them, andwe willdefeatyou.
Tonylasted about five minutes in that memory, and came back to himselfpanting and dizzy, and outside the heavy glass of the Hulk Room,Bruce looked resigned and Sam looked worried and Steve looked grave. And Barnes...
Barneswas pale as a sheet, but his jaw was set and his eyes were locked onTony’s face. When their eyes met, he nodded, once grim.
Barneswas in the first memory for all of about ninety seconds when heripped off the goggles and fell to his knees, retching.
“Bucky!”Steve yelled, banging on the glass. “Bucky, what happened? Are youokay?”
“Ohgod,” Barnes gasped. “It’s so fuckin’ real...”He rocked back onto his heels and flapped a hand at Steve. “Stopthat, Rogers, you’re makin’ it worse.” He took a few deepbreaths, then looked straight at Tony, ignoring the way Steve waspractically pressed against the wall. “Let’s get this cleaned up,and get me a bucket or something for the next run.”
March 2016
Buckywas waiting for Tony outside the Hulk Room, just like always, leaningagainst the wall with his hands stuffed in his pockets. “Mornin’dollface,” he said without looking up. “Ready to dance?”
Theflirting had started a couple of months ago. Progress was slow, withfrequent setbacks, and the situation needed a little humor from timeto time. Tony could only helplessly admire his determination anddrive.
“WhySergeant Barnes,” Tony gasped, firing up the monitoring equipmentone-handed, “are you getting fresh with me?”
Buckygave him a wide-eyed look. “I wouldn’t dare try it, not with youbein’ so far outta my league,” he said. “All I want’s a danceor two.”
“Yousay that now,” Tony said. “But I know what you’re reallyafter.” He tapped the last code in and the pneumatic seal on theHulk Room’s door released with a hiss.
Buckyflinched -- his work with the BARF hadn’t stopped him fromdeveloping new pavlovian responses, and that sound was guaranteed tomake him pale and queasy. It didn’t stop him, though. He scooped upthe goggles and headpiece and stepped through the door without anyhesitation.
Asthe door swung slowly shut, Bucky slipped on the headpiece, adjustingits position with the ease of long practice, and covered his prettyeyes with the VR goggles. “Maybe this time,” he said, so quietlythat Tony wasn’t sure he was hearing it right, “I’ll make youproud enough to say yes.”
May 2017
Buckyhad gone pale when they’d walked into the room with the scanner, somuch blood draining away from his face that his lips had taken on ablueish tint, and his hand had trembled in Tony’s grip. But hedidn’t hesitate, even for an instant. He climbed into the chair andvery deliberately curled his hands over the ends of the armrests, hiseyes locked on Tony as he licked his lips.
“Areyou certain you wish to remain?” T’challa asked. “If he is notfully recovered, you will be in great danger.”
Tonylooked away from Bucky only for an instant, to let T’challa see thedetermination in his eyes, and then shifted his gaze back to Bucky.“I’ve been putting my life in the hands of my tech for more thana decade,” he said firmly. “He’s clean. This is only aformality.”
T’challawanted to argue; Tony could feel it hanging in the air. Tony wasready to tell him where to stick it -- Steve hadn’t been permittedto attend this review, and it was only after some rather franticnegotiation that the U.N. had agreed to let Tony come along forBucky’s moral support.
Finally,T’challa bowed his head, accepting. “Very well,” he agreed, andturned to the Wakandan neuroscientist and the team of expertsassigned by the U.N. who would be verifying Bucky’s mental state.“You may begin.”
Acomputer technician approached and Bucky closed his eyes tightly.“Try to relax,” the neuroscientist said, a heavy Wakandan accentlending music to the syllables. “The process should be painless, but a thorough mapping will take some time.” She used a vividlyblue gel to attach several electrodes to Bucky’s face and neck, andspoke to the technician in Wakandan, which Tony didn’t speak, butbased on the way the screens on the computer bank flickered to lifeand began displaying graphs and numbers, they were going through astartup sequence.
“Mr.Barnes,” she said after a moment, “we will present a number ofimages to you, some still, some short scenes. The complete collectionof possible images is quite large; no one will know precisely whichimages you see, though there is an algorithm that ensures certaincategories are among those chosen. I -- and the analysts -- will seeonly your measured responses, as compared to the range of responsesfor that image already acquired. You need do nothing but allow theimages to appear; your subconscious response will be measured almostinstantaneously. Do you understand the procedure, Mr. Barnes?”
Buckynodded without opening his eyes.
“Doyou consent to the procedure?” she asked.
“It’swhy we came all this way,” he said, voice husky. “Might ‘swell.”
Thescientist looked tolerably amused, but pressed, “I must have aclear affirmative before we begin, Mr. Barnes.”
Buckyhuffed. “Yes,” he said. “I consent.”
“Thankyou.” She nodded at them both. “I will be watching from theobservation room,” she told them. “If you need to call a halt, you need only say so.” She left the room, very carefully closingthe door behind her.
Whenthe heavy bolts shot home, sealing them in, Bucky’s eyes flew open.“They didn’t strap me down,” he said.
“Noneed,” Tony said lightly. “You’re going to be fine.”
“I’mscared,” Bucky admitted in a whisper.
Tonytook Bucky’s hand in his own. “I’ll be right here the wholetime,” he promised.
Buckystarted to answer, but then frowned slightly, his eyes goingunfocused. It had begun.
Unableto see the images that Bucky was getting, his outward responses weresomewhat mystifying to Tony. His breathing and heart rate sped andslowed, his pupils dilated and contracted, muscles all over his bodytwitched. He smiled, he frowned, he grimaced. His skin flushed andthen faded. Once he choked out, “No!” Some time later, hewhispered, “Please,” but he sounded... happy?
“Arethey showing you porn in there?” Tony teased.
Buckycocked his head, eyes flicking around in sightless confusion. Itfaded again after a moment, and Tony kept his mouth shut after that.
Thecomplete process took hours, but Bucky never asked for a break, and perforce, neither did Tony. Bythe time it was done, Bucky was soaked with sweat and shaking like aleaf. The scanning equipment powered down, and Bucky’s eyes slowlyfocused on Tony. “They done?” he asked, his voice a hoarse rasp.
“Thinkso,” Tony said. “You okay?”
“Hell,no,” Bucky said. “That was... that was rough.”
“Yeah,”Tony agreed. “But you did great.”
“We’llsee, I guess.” Bucky didn’t look too confident.
Tonyglanced toward the door -- it would be just like those petty U.N.officials to draw out their deliberation just because they could, making Bucky sweat out of a sense of power. “Hey, after they cut usloose,” Tony said, trying for distraction, “how about dinner?Wakandan cuisine is really something, and it’s hard to come by ifyou’re not actually in Wakanda.”
“Youaskin’ for a date, gorgeous?” Bucky managed a wan smile.
“Well,if you don’t have a more pressing engagement,” Tony said, liftinghis eyebrows, “yes.”
Bucky’seyes went round. “Wait, really?”
Tonyheld out his hand, palm up, offering. Slowly, Bucky took it, and Tonyclosed his fingers around Bucky’s, smiling. “For the record, because I didn’t think you’d believe me until this was allsettled, I’ve been proud of you since the first time you said you’dtry it. And I’ve wanted to take you out for months.”
Thelight and wonder in Bucky’s eyes was worth all the heartache andwork it had taken to get to this moment, Tony thought. “I neverthought,” Bucky whispered, “never thought I’d--”
Thedoor opened to reveal T’challa, the doctor and the U.N. committeehead behind him. He met Tony’s eyes, then Bucky’s. Slow, like asleepy cat, he smiled.

— Coirafanatic (@Lunascatcat) May 19, 2019

Emmerdale airs weeknights on ITV.

What are your favorite ships? c: (OC ships of course)
YO (it’s gonna be long, I’m sorry)
Gotta say it - Scott x Helen is my absolute fave, it’s so obvious jdbfksb
I’m very emotional about Steven x Phil, Charlie x Rachel, Chuck x Melanie, Scott x Emily, Sarah x Elisabeth, Elisabeth x Vinnie, Vinnie x Luca, Jenny x Severin, Glen x Sally, a few of my OCs shipped with Ędi’s, a few I can’t talk about yet…
There are also my guilty pleasures (more or less) like Johnny x Joanne, Mason x Kevin and also Jay Kay x Scarlet who are like created for a story that I might one day do as a webcomic but I promise nothing, it just happened when I felt lonely and very gay jdbfksbdf
But I can’t forget about crack ships! Helen x Vasilisia, Melanie x Jenny, Scott x Jack (…..very lowkey and also now it’s far less because it was for my autotherapy and the whole problem is finally gone, hooray), Mason x Russel, Phil x Scott, Ryan x Nishant, Mark x Steven… we also have this AU with Ędi where Scott, Mark, Helen and Heather are the same age, and boys are together&girls are together because it came out of the realisation that they are each other’s “types” but it’s just a silly AU (but I really like this one jsdbfksbkf) ;;;;;
Welp, I have much more ships but there are those that I don’t even talk about because the characters are underdevelopped/come from a story that needs to be build up more/are a bit spoilerish so ;;;
Thank you a lot!! :’DD

jay & sunshine for the kid meme ? OR ... helen & sunshine :3?
Yasssss. The AU babies.
[ Jay & Sunshine ]
Name: Andrew ‘Drew’ David Daniels
Gender: Boy
General Appearance: Blonde unkempt hair like his father with brown eyes like his mama. The boy is tall as hell (his parents don’t know where he got his height from because they are both relatively short). Drew also has a stupid athletic build and is an avid gym goer (which also makes no sense to his parents because they are not the athletic type).
Personality: Quiet, reflective, and idealistic. Like his father, he tends to be a loner. He often feels uncomfortable around others and does not like crowds. Even though he’s not too fond of people, he’s an observer who is Interested in understanding and helping people.
Special Talents: Growing up with two skilled snipers for parents, Drew is a pretty good shot. He has always had a natural aim, but didn’t start learning how to shoot until he was in his 20s.
Who they like better: It depends on the day. He loves both of his parents with all his heart, but they both have their days (they fought a lot). Most of the time he loved hanging out with his Uncle Frankie as a kid.
Who they take after more: Jay. The boy is cynical as hell (even though both of his parents are cynical, Jay is the most cynical). He’s also not too big on physical affection like his dad.
Personal Headcanon: He’s bitter about the interactions between his parents. Jay has always had a difficult time expressing his feelings, so that really affects Sunshine and Drew. Towards the end of of their relationship, Sunshine and Jay just stopped communicating all together, so it ended sloppy. Though Drew doesn’t resent his father for the way he acted in the end, he has always been pissed about how he treated his mother. (Jay sabotaged the relationship. He wasn’t abusive, but he was a sad boy and didn’t want to bring Sunshine down with him… but in the end that’s what he ultimately did).
Bonus Headcanon: His parents nicknamed him ADD (Andrew David Daniels) because that boy could not focus on a single thing.

[ Helen & Sunshine ]
Name: Sidney ‘Sid’ [ aka Project Kratos ]
Gender: Girl
General Appearance: Shoulder length blonde hair (that has a habit of getting in her face) like Helen and brown eyes like Sunshine. She’s very poised and proper, always has her shoulders back and head up. She also doesn’t look like she can deadlift a semi truck, but she totally could.
Personality: Even after her release from The Institute, Sid is a quiet and reserved woman. She finds it very hard to trust others, but when she does she is fiercely loyal. She’s an extremely reserved person and never talks about her feelings. Once she has her mind set on something, it’s hard for her to change it. But behind that cold outer exterior she’s sassy and witty. Once she figures out that it’s okay laugh at jokes, she does and she loves making other people laugh.
Special Talents: On top of Helen immortality/ability to heal and Sunshine’s ‘special ability’ to make allies for centuries, Sid has superhuman strength and killer accuracy.
Who they like better: She honestly couldn’t tell say. She was born and raised in a research facility with little to no ‘family’. She never knew either of the girls. Once Sid snaps out of her brainwashed state she learns to love both of them.
Who they take after more: She’s an equal mix of both Helen and Sunshine. She is all of their strengths and none of their weaknesses (or so they think).
Personal Headcanon: Side was meant to be the redemption of The Institute after its collapse after WW2. Her particular experiment/project was known as ‘Project Kratos’ (or they just called her Kratos) after the divine personification of strength in Greek mythology. She was raised to be like Helen and Maggie (Sunshine’s past life) but better. The Institute ended up putting her on ice Captain America/Winter Soldier style until she was needed again. When Logan Holloway (Sunshine’s evil ex) decided it was time to use ‘Kratos’ to his own personal advantage, he unthawed her.
Bonus Headcanon: After they learned about ‘Kratos’, Sunshine and Helen made it their mission to snap her out of the hold The Institute had on her. It took some long nights and convincing (and a few scratches and bruises), but they eventually got her to trust them. Helen and Sunshine hated the name that The Institute gave her, so they ended up sitting down with a baby naming website and let Kratos Sidney pick a name she liked.
