sylus is rich. really rich. you could steal his card for a week, use that whole seven days to try to make him go broke, and come back to see his sly smirk, because you failed to bring even 1% of his money down.

in your whole relationship with him, you've never paid. dates? he got ‘em covered. going shopping? he's handing the card already. his birthday? he hid the receipt before you could see. at this point you even forgot you have a card or wallet. the only time you're paying in your life was when you go out with tara and spend a few bucks here and there.

but even sometimes he doesn't let it go, he gives you his black card to spend, but when he finds out you used yours instead of his? he's sending you thrice as much money as you spent.

as much as sylus is insanely rich, he doesn't let his money define the value of your relationship. you're upset? he's putting you on his lap as he soothes your back, pressing kisses on your cheek and forehead as you rant to him. you're mad? at him or something else? he's giving you time to cool your head, then when you do, he's hugging you gently. whispering sweet apologies. you're hungry? he'll cook your favorites, he even learned how to bake your favorite desserts just because he knows you like it handmade than ordered. you're lonely? he sends luke and kieran to take care of his business instead of him. just so he could spend the whole day with you by his side.

so yes, he's filthy rich. but you're also rich because you have someone like him by your side. something that could never be bought even with millions. and hey, maybe you could win the lottery sometime? oh wait, you already did.

sylus is a loser!

when everyone (and when everyone you mean luke and kieran) complaining about how their big boss man won’t budge and tell them his birthday— you decided to give him a try. oh and you feel bad for the twins celebrating it everyday since the first of april.

sylus finished his side quests in the n109 zone. now perched in his leather red couch, his black suit still fit on him. you decided to be coy, putting up your best red lipstick, even going all the way to styling your hair.

then, it was go time.

you slowly walked towards him with a cheeky grin. “sy?” I walked slowly towards him, he didn’t lift up his face from his book, the glasses sitting gently on the bridge of his nose. “yes, sweetie?”

“y’know.. I’ve been wondering these days.” the way you talked was filled with curiosity, but it was coated with sweetness. you slowly sat on his lap sideways, thighs placed softly on his lap while it spreads on the couch, head nestled on his shoulder while you look at him reading. right hand creeping up his chest.

“when’s your birthd—” before you could finish your sentence, sylus sets his book down. his hand supporting your back as he says, “april 18th.”

your were wide-eyed. did sylus just tell you his birthday.. so easily?

“huh.. why’d you give up so easily?” he presses a kiss on your forehead, shifting you so you’re facing him. “first of all, kitten. I could never resist you. especially with.. your methods. secondly I never thought of my birthday as such a special matter. but when you came into my life, I found myself finding the most unimportant things.. well, important.”

“...one of such things as spending my birthday with my miss hunter.” yup. sylus was a total loser. but you don’t care. he’s your loser.
