How long does it actually take you to style your hair? I'm considering cutting my hair short, but if it's too much work fuck it

Ah, well. The time really depends on your haircut and the effort you want to put into it

I have a friend that literally just gets up and his hair is done. He doesn't have to do shit

Me, on the other hand, have to wash it every day (to wash away the wax from the previous day), blowdry it and shape it back with wax. And sometimes the shaping is hit or miss. Some days my hair looks hella good and others I just can't get it to behave and I feel like a rat the whole day

Answering your question tho: if we count the shower time, the blowdrying and the styling I would say I spend half an hour on my hair alone every day. But that's mainly cause I'm fussy and I don't rest until I get it at least decent.

Compare that with the long hair I used to have: I didn't wash it every day nor blewdry it every day either. In the morning I mostly just brushed it and in 3 minutes I was done

I confess when I cut my hair I thought I would have less work than I had with long hair (the days that I did wash my hair took me a long ass time. Washing and drying would go up to 2 hours), but nah. Even considering the 2 hours, I think I had less work with long hair than short hair, mainly because long hair you could wash it the night before. Short hair, if you actually want to get it in shape, you have to wake up earlier to be able to wash it, shape it and give it volume with the blowdrier and wax it. If you wash your hair the night before, the next day is a nightmare, even if you blowdry it. Your hair will either be too flat or sticking out everywhere and impossible to control

So, yeah. It all depends on the haircut really

My hair is longer now (gonna cut it next week FINALLY), but my usual haircut is very similar to season 2 Crowley (slightly shorter on the sides tho). If you want to go with something similar, be ready for a lot of work

Um I hope this isn’t some kind of hornet’s nest but why do so many posts use a she/her pronoun when Crowley has long hair and he/ him for short? I just read a few posts in the good omens tag hoping for long haired Crowley but phrasing it as ‘ we need to see her again!

People know hair-length doesn’t indicate gender, right? Please tell me they don’t corrolate it
