Part 2 of my FFXV OC's backstory!

Lizzie and her husband Paulus got along well enough, but they sadly had nothing in common. They hadn't even consummated their marriage! Her parents and his both told them "Give it time, and you will come to love each other."

But barely a year into their marriage, it never happened. Paulus was miserable, and Lizzie had her sights set on someone else already 😉

When they met once again, Ardyn teased her about being "That stubborn little girl I once knew."

She replied back with:

"This stubborn little girl grew up, Chancellor."

She and Paulus divorced, a month before their first wedding anniversary, and Lizzie began pursuing Ardyn Izunia, and began a relationship with him in secret.

You can imagine the gossip it caused.

This concludes Part 2.

My FFXV OC's Backstory - Part 6 (Kingsglaive, FFXV and Lizzie's Epilogue)

We've come to the final part of this story. I hope everyone's enjoyed it. Let's get into it, shall we? We've got a lot to cover!

Lizzie's role in Kingsglaive isn't exactly large, she's mostly in the background, always with Ardyn. She accompanies him to the throne room in Insomnia and lets him do all the talking.

She also accompanied her husband to the party on the eve of the signing ceremony for the treaty, although we know this was a ruse. She once again doesn't really do much, other than get drunk on champagne and have sex with Ardyn in the airship, which is probably a good explanation as to why he's there for the rest of the movie.

Apologies for reducing her to nothing more than Ardyn's eye candy, I just couldn't think of anything for her to do in Kingsglaive. Here is a picture of Ardyn as an apology gift.

Onto the main game of Final Fantasy XV! 🥳🥳🥳🥳

So we first meet our lovebirds in Galdin Quay, and throughout the game, we see Ardyn toying with Noctis. Lizzie is constantly being hit on by Prompto who she dubs "an annoying sod" (sorry Prompto fans, I love you 😅)

She also dresses casual, sometimes rather provocative. Lizzie only does this to push her husband's buttons and make him jealous (because it's obvious she's horny as well and wants Ardyn to punish her later, Hehehehe 😉) She even goes so far as to flirt with Gladio, which most definitely angered her husband and caused him to show a bit of possessiveness.

When Noctis is absorbed into the Crystal and put to sleep for 10 years, Ardyn assumes the throne of Lucis, with Lizzie as his Queen.

During the 10 years of darkness, the "Queen Of Lucis" as she had been dubbed by her dearest husband had grown accustomed to her new title, (she likes it more than she lets on), and the couple would have three children.

Marcus Caesius Izunia (or Marcus Lucis Caelum if you wanna get technical)

Adriana Salonia Izunia (or Adriana Lucis Caelum)

And Octavius Pontius Izunia (or Octavius Lucis Caelum, again, whatever floats your boat)

All three of the children were doted and loved on by their father, and most likely spoiled because he knew of his fate.

By the time the 10 years had passed and Noctis came back, the family knew that Ardyn's time had come. They had been prepared for this.

As he lay dying at Noctis's feet, she came to him, cradling his head and looking into his eyes. "It's going to be okay, my love. We'll be alright. You can rest now."

When he faded away into nothing, she wept, clinging to the hat he left behind.

She would never speak to Ignis, Prompto and Gladio again.

As the years passed, she focused on raising her children into good and honest people. Wearing black for the rest of her life, Elizabeth never remarried, as she couldn't forget the first man she loved.

Ardyn's hat would pass on to Marcus, who wore it with a heavy heart. He would marry a unnamed woman and name his firstborn son after his late father and a daughter named after his mother.

Adriana never married and instead focused on working in politics like her mother before her.

As for Octavius, he chose to stay at his mother's side, caring for her when she couldn't do anything for herself anymore.

Elizabeth died peacefully at the age of 97, in bed surrounded by her children and grandchildren. She was buried in a meadow, next to an empty casket, with the grave marked "Ardyn and Elizabeth Izunia, together for eternity."

She and her darling were reunited in the afterlife, and watched over their family for generations to come.

This concludes Elizabeth's story. I hope you all enjoyed it. If not, that's okay! I'll take any feedback!
