It all started when Alex found a new piece into his hoard. It had ogling eyes, dragged blood everywhere he would bring it and squeaked like a mantis, not his proudest treasure. It also proved to be way harder to keep in one place than it seemed. Everyone saw it, some might’ve laughed, some might’ve pitied the poor man chasing a baby all around Square Seal House, yelling “WHEN I CATCH YOU, YOU’LL BE FLAYED, RAGAZZACCIO, YOU HEAR ME?! FLAYED!” The baby only stopped when it spotted a familiar face, its’ representative. Imagine Shoryo’s shock when a pottymouthed young man was chasing down her dessert. What a meet-cute.

Their relationship can be summed up as — stressed out and quite hungry single mother and step dad with way too many court cases filed…mostly against him.

Shoryo, despite not wanting to admit it, was afraid of commitment. Just the thought of having to boss around her food pets babies representatives and also having an obnoxious pack rat of a boyfriend. But Alex tries his best to make it worth her while.

Alex often junk dives to find something pretty for Shoryo, the beloved lady tends to play hard to get on accepting such gifts, the interaction ending curt with “Begone thrall! Substandard present!” Shoryo does end up making use of the things Alex brings him, to his great pleasure.

Alex really was head over heels for Shoryo, what a woman. He didn’t even notice when his beloved lady was munching down on her babies.

These two have one thing in common for sure, which is needlessly big gestures. If you have some business around Lonely Door, you’ll definetely hear them yelling about. Fear not, they’re not arguing nor are they having a fight to death, they’re probably just deciding what to have for dinner tomorrow.

Once, while Shoryo was cleaning blood stains from a rug — and having a field day with badmouthing her babies for dragging their filthy blood everywhere — Alex listened in, while resting his chin on one of Shoryo’s wooden legs. This was far from new, Shoryo deep down had to admit, it was nice having somebody listen in on the burdensome weight and problems childcare brought over her head. However, as soon as she was finished with scrubbing the rug, Shoryo noticed Alex sleeping soundly on her knee. Instinctively, she wanted to kick him off and scold him for such imbecilic behaviour — yet ended up simply placing her hoof on the top of his head. She’ll overlook it this time.

While Shoryo, being the respected mistress she deserves to be, demands respect from everybody around her, she does raise an eyebrow on how far Alex bears to go to accommodate her wants. This man would not only drop his jumper into the mud so that his beautiful empress of a lady can walk through, oh no. He would lay into it for Shoryo as a path.

Shoryo enjoys feeling clean, taking long baths, red manicure on her hooves and freshly applied lipstick. When it comes to her boyfriend, the same cannot exactly be said — Alex is quite the grubby guy. Shoryo sometimes feels gracious enough to remind him of personal hygene though, leaving notes by his bridge with pearly letters reading “TAKE A SHOWER, RUFFIAN.”

Alex has an ego bigger than the Sun, but with that — said ego is as fragile as it can get. With Shoryo’s upmost gracious honesty, she can make her insults too prickly sometimes, like an entire chandelier, a whole stack of football cards AND a Miniature Stellar Black Hole™ all in one place?! He needs to organize his trash this instant, that muttonhead!

To avoid being much so improper in public, instead of a passionate kiss the Italian would have his face steaming surely, Shoryo lets Alex softly bump his droopy nose onto her wooden face. Like an eskimo kiss. She does have to lean down slightly though.

I present, Shu-Hui's character (+ OCs !!) relations >>>

(coral glasses, ENA, Froggy, Taski Maiden, Lepus, Zaike, Blobert + Shoryo, purge events NPCs)

Coral Glasses (my f/o): pretty obvious; girlfriends, lovers, sweethearts is what they are <33 it started out by coral catching shu-hui's eye and, to coral's initial dismay, piquing shu's interest due to her outstanding humane appearance (unlike the rest of the cast's)

after a month or few of getting bombarded with attention&affection coral decided to take that big and difficult step to ask shu-hui out <33 as of now one can find them lazying around (after w*rk hours !!!) in The Hub while gazing at the wide pool of blood, or eachother >_<

ENA & Froggy: wrote them down as a duo because their differences in relations with shu are just too insignificant </3 due to them being caught up with business and j*bs (so is coral, but she is easier to catch off-guard) they're pals or acquaintances at best

shu-hui is fascinated with ENAs, claiming she has never met one before. when she gets a chance she usually pesters ENA with personal (albeit respectful) questions. salesman!ENA is always polite about it and answers in the most roundabout ways possible while trying to sell shu-hui something, and meanie!ENA usually tells her to buzz off or, if she is in a GREAT mood, indulges a question or two.

now Froggy probably finds shu-hui annoying or a nuisance (similar to dratula? maybe less intense) shu-hui is eager to talk to ANYONE (lonely ahh) if an opportunity arises, so she'd never pass chatting up Froggy when she sees him standing idle, even if she gets told that he is busy. its all fine if they hang out in a group, though

Taski Maiden: oh boy, now that is a WEIRD friendship. we all know that Taski is a bit whacked in the head (Candidate Review achievement) and she comes off REALLY strong. and so does shu-hui. they're two really intense personalities crashing, which can sometimes lead to a noise hazard

they both have 𝓾𝓷𝓮𝓶𝓹𝓵𝓸𝔂𝓮𝓶𝓮𝓷𝓽 in common (before taski got e***loyed) so they sometimes just run into eachother randomly and it either results in a super fun hang-out or an arguement

Lepus, @tyronedatiger's OC: shu-hui's trade partner and vice-versa !! they interact very rarely but are on great terms. they hit off a trade of ENA parts (ethically sourced i promise !!!) once and have been trading ever since. shu-hui always keeps an eye out for parts/goods that might get her something nice in return from Lepus and always delivers ^_^

she finds latin (which he speaks) very nice to listen to, so interacting with the merchant is always a pleasure !!

Zaike (and Penio !!), @rukorukie's OC:

probably the greatest friend(s) shu-hui has and ever had !! they are quite often seen hanging out together, shu-hui is in awe of all the different things Zaike can do !! their hang-outs are usually something like: shu observing Zaike at work- helping with the calls, striking different poses to see how Zaike imitates them, singing songs together (actually Zaike is the one making music, shu is just on the vocals), bickering with Penio, OR shu-hui making the polyglot learn to write in cantonese.

fun isn't it ?! also, shu-hui is a creature such full of love and she adores Zaiggy !! ships those two hard

Blobert, @w0wzerz-smth's OC: having lots of time on her hands, shu-hui sometimes wanders into his shop to browse, and maybe buy any trinket she fancies (perhaps something for coral?) sometimes Blobert catches shu staring at his fins, which she finds mesmerizing ^_^ when she snaps out of it she hurries away like an embarrased middle-schooler

shu really likes those rare but memorable get-togethers consisting of herself, Blobert, Zaike and their s/o's, such fun !! <3
