You don't need to know rocket science to tell that Lumine loves her partners big and fat. The people of Mondstadt, Liyue, Inazuma, Sumeru, Fontaine, Natlan—basically everyone in Teyvat knew that she likes them big. You naively thought that you'd be able to court Lumine while getting away at least somewhat unscathed by her predilection for the heavyset, and that hubris was what lead to your downfall as soon as Lumine took an interest in you.

A giant spread of cuisines ranging all across Teyvat laid in front of you like a graveyard, empty dishes and plates stacked haphazardly with cutlery strewn about—all licked clean, of course, on account of Lumine's dogged insistence that you eat everything. You couldn't even believe that you could fit that much in you. It was the kind of food that you'd expect be served at a royal banquet, not just some horny woman's domain.

You were just so goddamn full. You couldn't feel the rest of your body, only the red-hot ripping throbbing of your overstuffed belly as the rest of your proportions fought to become second-most dominant. Sweaty tits hung down the side of your mammoth gut, your thick thighs stuck out like chicken drumsticks as your gut fought to kiss the ground as quickly as you could, and your arms were permanently stuck in an A-position as a result of your sidefolds jutting out so much. It wouldn't be too long before that position became a T. You used to be so svelte that you were just a few pounds heavier than Lumine; now, you were a full ton heavier and only growing with every dish she crammed down your throat like a devil possessed.

Just as you were about to tell Lumine you were tapping out, she put a spoonful of decadently rich chocolate cake to your mouth and made you swallow instinctively.

"Up, up, up. You're not finished yet, tubby. You promised me you'd eat dessert, remember? Now open wide."

You groaned. You didn't know what'd break first: your belt or your mind, given how you're starting to enjoy all of this.

Sidefold Dress, early 19th century, Brooklyn Museum: Arts of the Americas

Woman's side-fold hide dress consists of six pieces: the main body of the dress, the flounce, the shoulder flap, the top bodice, and two hide thongs as a second shoulder strap. The horizontal seam is low and the folded over portion is shorter and would barely cover the breast. The folded over flap is even shorter in the back. The hide is worked so that the flesh side of the skin lies against the wearer, with the fur side out. The flounce is laced with hide thong. The seam of the dress, the blue and white pony beads on the shoulder strap, and the hem tabs are all sewn. It is likely that the two bottom tabs at the left side of the dress are formed from a remnant of the foreleg of the animal or are a decorative form to resemble this pattern technique imitating the animal's legs. Ten quilled stripes are worked around the skirt of the dress, horizontally, in measured registers of blue (once blue-green but faded since original BMA acquisition) and brown quill, separated by shorter sections of white porcupine quill where red tufts, once the tassels, of yarn emerge. Small black lines separate each quilled section. Some vertical marks of what is probably ochre appear at the ends of the quilled bands. Tin cones and a few copper cones are sewn to the bottom of the flounce, more or less at knee length, and on the two bottom tabs, which are further elaborated with an edging of blue and white beads. Five pairs of copper cones are sewn up the side seam. If the shoulder strap is examined from above, blue and white beads can be seen ornamenting the seams. A single row or blue beads edges the sides while the front and back seams display eight bands of two rows of white beads alternating with two rows of blue pony beads. So apparently this blog is two years old today, Hooray?

I’ve been busy/depressed/on holiday and not really done anything new in a while, so here’s something old that I condemned to the fires of my ‘unreleased models’ pile.

The AK and RPK were some of the first weapons I ported from Call of Duty: Black Ops, but they managed to avoid the two updates and eventual release that I gave the other models. But why?

There were a few reasons. Firstly, the quality. The RPK, with the exception of the magazine textures, isn’t so bad, but the AK is one of the ugliest models in Black Ops. I managed to fix the textures on a few of the other weapons that I’d ported, but there’s only so much you can do, and I don’t think I could really do much about the AK’s flat furniture textures.

Secondly, the proportions (especially on the RPK) are a bit wonky. I had a hard time getting the scaling right, and upon reflection it’s probably because the proportions of the barrel aren’t quite right. The AK’s proportions aren’t the worst, but they’re still not perfect.

Another contributing factor was the mixed features that both of these guys were sporting. The AK’s stock has the very early metal bracket, but it’s also got the sidefolding mechanism and the stamped reciever from an AKS-74. The RPK is set up as an RPK-74M despite the game being set six years before even the RPK-74 was designed, and it weirdly has the ribbed barrel from the Yugoslav Zastava M72.

Related to that note, these models are what made me decide how I want to port things. Rather than just porting models for the sake of porting them, I chose to port guns and modify them to be the best depiction of that particular gun as I could, rather than just make it a 1-1 port of that gun from that game. The masterkey is a real thing, but it’s not appropriate on the AK, and neither are most of the optics. I choose to just make the guns as realistic as I can.

The main reason is simply that I’d already finished my AK pack by the time I came back to the Black Ops weapons. Some of the other guns are things I’d like to do proper versions of later (Like the FAL and the Galil), but they’re decent enough models to act as a stopgap measure until I do those. The AK pack was already out and way better, so there was simply no point.

If I’d had the time to think about it, I would’ve prepared a slightly more interesting topic for this. I still have maps I’d like to showcase, but those can wait for another time.
