Mālik Ibn Dīnār (رحمه الله) stated:
"Amazing is (the case of) one who knows death is his ending and the grave will be his place.
How can his eyes find ease with the life of this world
and how can his life be good within it (when he knows what he knows)?"

Muscat tours
Muscat, the capital city of Oman, is a vibrant and enchanting destination that seamlessly blends modernity with tradition. Muscat tours offer a diverse range of experiences, from exploring historic landmarks and cultural sites to enjoying the beauty of the coastline and indulging in traditional Omani hospitality. Here are some highlights and key attractions that make Muscat tours a memorable experience:
Grand Mosque: A Symbol of Elegance
Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque: Muscat tours often commence with a visit to the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, an architectural masterpiece. This grand mosque, with its intricate design, towering minarets, and the world's second-largest handwoven carpet, reflects the opulence and elegance of Omani craftsmanship.
Historical Landmarks: A Journey Through Time
Mutrah Corniche: Stroll along the Mutrah Corniche, a picturesque waterfront area that offers stunning views of the harbor and the city's skyline. The corniche is lined with traditional buildings, cafes, and the iconic Mutrah Souq.
Al Jalali and Al Mirani Forts: These historic forts stand guard over the entrance to Muscat's harbor. While not always open to the public, their impressive exteriors and strategic locations contribute to the city's historical charm.
Al-Alam Palace: Flanked by the twin forts, Al-Alam Palace is the ceremonial palace of Sultan Qaboos. Although not open to the public, the palace's colorful facade and impressive gates provide a glimpse into Oman's regal architecture.
Bait Al Zubair Museum: Muscat tours often include a visit to Bait Al Zubair, a private museum that showcases Omani heritage. The museum features exhibits on traditional Omani clothing, jewelry, weapons, and artifacts.
Traditional Souq Experience: Mutrah Souq
Mutrah Souq: Immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of Mutrah Souq, one of the oldest marketplaces in Oman. The souq's narrow alleys are filled with the fragrance of frankincense, and vendors offer a variety of goods, including spices, textiles, and souvenirs.
Cultural Encounters and Modern Landmarks
Royal Opera House Muscat: A symbol of Oman's cultural renaissance, the Royal Opera House Muscat is a modern architectural marvel. Muscat tours may include performances or guided tours of this prestigious venue.
Qurum Beach: Take a relaxing break at Qurum Beach, a popular public beach with golden sands and clear waters. It's an ideal spot for a leisurely walk, enjoying the sea breeze, or having a picnic with a view of the Gulf of Oman.
Natural Beauty: Corniche, Parks, and Mountains
Muscat Corniche: Enjoy a scenic drive along the Muscat Corniche, which stretches along the coastline. The Corniche offers panoramic views of the sea, the city, and the rugged mountains that surround Muscat.
Al Riyam Park: This park, situated on a hill overlooking the city, provides a tranquil retreat with greenery and views of the sea. It's a perfect spot for a leisurely stroll or a picnic.
Jebel Sifah: For those seeking outdoor activities, Muscat tours may include a trip to Jebel Sifah, a coastal area offering water sports, golf, and other recreational activities.
Omani Cuisine: Gastronomic Delights
Omani Cuisine: Muscat tours offer the opportunity to savor traditional Omani cuisine. Indulge in dishes like Shuwa (slow-cooked marinated lamb), Omani halwa (a sweet confection), and fresh seafood at local restaurants.
Practical Tips:
Modest Attire: Dress modestly, especially when visiting religious or cultural sites. Both men and women are encouraged to cover their shoulders and knees.
Cultural Sensitivity: Respect local customs and traditions, and seek permission before taking photographs of individuals.
Comfortable Footwear: Wear comfortable shoes, especially if you plan to explore historical sites or markets with uneven surfaces.
Sun Protection: Use sunscreen, wear a hat, and stay hydrated, particularly during outdoor activities.
Local Etiquette: Embrace Omani hospitality and be courteous in your interactions with locals. It is common to exchange greetings and engage in friendly conversations.
Muscat tours provide a kaleidoscopic journey through the layers of Oman's capital, where modernity coexists with tradition, and historical landmarks harmonize with natural beauty. Whether you are captivated by the grandeur of the Grand Mosque, enchanted by the bustling alleys of Mutrah Souq, or seeking serenity along the Corniche, Muscat offers a tapestry of experiences that reflect the soul of this Arabian gem.

Al-Firyābī narrated in "Sifah An-Nifāq wa Dhamm Al-Munāfiqīn":
65. ‘Uthmān ibn Abī Shaybah narrated to us (and said): Jarīr narrated to us, from Mansūr, from Ibrāhīm, from Abū Ash-Sha’thā who said: A group of people from the people of ‘Irāq entered upon Ibn ‘Umar and they started speaking ill of Yazīd ibn Mu’āwiyah and insulting him.
So ‘Abdullāh said to them: “This is your statement about them in front of me, but do you say this to their faces?”
They said: “No, rather we praise them and compliment them.”
So Ibn ‘Umar said: “That, for us, is nifāq.”
This athar is sahīh.
I see too many who pretend to be on haqq nowadays yet having good time with mushrikeen polytheists like sufis, shias, asharis, madkhalis etc as if their enmity towards Allah, Islam and Muslims doesn't bother them and isn't a matter they care at all. Idk whether to laugh or cry, some even end up marrying them. May Allah save us from misguidance and from a heart that doesn't boil out of gheerah for this deen.

It is reported from the famous worshipper Râbi’ah (may Allâh have mercy on her) that she said:
I have never heard the adhân except that I remember the caller who will announce the Day of Resurrection, and I never see the falling snow except that I imagine the flying pages of the records of peoples deeds (on that day), and I never see swarms of locusts except that I think about the Great Gathering on the Last Day.
Ibn Al-Jawzî, Sifah Al-Safwah Vol. 2 p433.
