Ive seen some theories about The traveler and Si´ha Nova getting a map to Die for you (remix) in JD 2025 which i do think fits them but i dont think it should be a love song between them. I think it should be them singing about their love for their child and saying that they would die to protect Wanderlust (this happens after Jack Rose goes to get help from them)

Happy New Year!! I really love how much you’ve developed the Night Children AU, and I love seeing your work!!

Out of curiosity, which characters, aside from Jack Swan and Wanderlust, interest you the most in the Au? Based on potential from a writing, character, or personal standpoint? You’ve done such as great job at establishing Jack and Wander’s relationship, and I’d be so curious as to what other characters stick out to you! No pressure though!!

In terms of writing it would be Mihaly. I really would love to write something from Mihaly's perspective and try to express the internal dialogue of not being able to think on their own but maybe with snippets of thought here and there that's not allowed to come to fruition. So far with this AU I'm trying to challenge myself in terms of writing perspective as I usually go for the typical third person narrative.

Tainted Love was written in second person POV which I honestly don't know that I've ever done before, maybe back in primary school, while Day One is in first person which I have always struggled with because I hate using I all the time, it tends to clunk up the narrative and sound repetitive. So doing something from Mihaly's perspective (maybe first person) to show exactly what's going on in their head without outright just saying 'this is happening' is a really exciting concept for me.

When it comes to potential though it's the Traveler. Part of the reason he's 'off out there' is because I have no idea what to do with him right now. Still there's so much potential like is he actually in the dark? Maybe he's seeking the help of the Gods. Or maybe he's doing an Alice Cullen and removing himself as a potential prize for Night Swan.

I also want to develop Siha Nova some more as I want her as the leader of the Resistance but for that I need to bring in more coaches then I can figure out how she is as a Leader based on who she's leading.

I really like the lore in general, so when I saw the story of 24 I was very happy, but at the same time with a feeling of trepidation And honestly, I hope the ending is a season, I don't want to wait a whole year to see how it ends -

WE ALL KNOW THAT DISCOBALL IS THE MONITOR NANNY THAT TRAVELLER MADE TO MONITOR WANDERLUST, AND AT THE END OF CANNED HEAT NIGHT SWAN TAKES CONTROL OF DISCOBALL AND STARTED MONITORING THE OTHER JUST DANCERS

I think that in Just Dance 2025, Jack Rose will somehow try to contact Wanderlust's father (since Traveler can travel through the Danceverse) to warn him of what happened to his son and they will both go after the mother of Wanderlust and a few other Just dancers.

I still think that if wanderlust's parents stay together for too long their power could collapse the danceverse they are in (which didn't even almost happen in save your tears)

I literally couldn't sleep with this hook that Ubisoft made in JD2024. I imagine that in JD2025, Jack Rose will actually be able to find someone to help him save everyone. But here come two of my theories: Either the story ends in JD2025, or Ubisoft makes another cliffhanger in JD2025, continuing the end of the story only in JD2026. That's what I say

I had understood from the director's interview with Dina that she tore up the poster at the beginning because only she and Nightswan have the ability to use flow, but Nightswan decided to use this for evil, which disappointed Mihaly, implying For me too, in the past they were united in some way

PARALLELS BETWEEN SWAN LAKE AND JUST DANCE 2024

-Usually, Odette (white swan) and Odille (black swan) are played by the same dancer. Sara and Night Swan are played by the same dancer

-The wizard Rothbart bewitched Odette to become a swan. In you should see me in a crown, Night Swan bewitched Sara to become evil

-It might just be a coincidence, but Sara has four letters and starts with "S" (swan)

-Sara in Hebrew means "lady, princess, noble woman". Odette is a princess

-Odille pretended to be Odette to deceive Prince Siegfried and get his hand in marriage. In Canned Heat, Night Swan pretended to be Sara to trick Wanderlust (who also has the title of prince) and steal the Discoball.

DEPENDING ON THE VERSION, SWAN LAKE HAS DIFFERENT ENDINGS (from the saddest to the happiest):

Ending 1-Siegfried dies trying to defeat Rothbart and Odette remains with the swan curse forever

Ending 2-Odette and Siegfried drown together, their souls are freed from the curse and they can finally be together in the afterlife

Ending 3-Siegfried defeats Rothbart, Odette has her curse broken and they get married

Which ending do you think you will choose for Just Dance 2025?

I would choose 3, the happiest ending. Night Swan defeated once and for all, the Danceverses at peace, and Wanderlust abdicating his responsibilities as the

"Chosen" to live happily on Earth with Sara.

So, I think a song that would go super well with some music for 25's lore would be 'Swan Song' by Dua Lipa, it would be awesome

Yesssss! This song is an anthem, one that Ubisoft could use. I imagine it as being a new solo map for Siha Nova, sad and horrified by what happened with Wanderlust but little by little finding the courage to face her own son and break Night Swan's spell over him.

I have a theory that's a little heavy but it's valid, at the beginning of sail Crimson wakes up tied to the ground and following this theory maybe the night swan trapped him in the boat and also towards the end of Sail the boat starts to pick up and he wasn't the one who put it since he was dancing so maybe the night swan wanted to kill her own

I think it's because Crimson and Night Swan had different dreams and goals and he didn't agree with her plans to dominate the

Danceverses and create a perfect universe

What I think could happen: Jack Rose finds three more powerful coaches to defeat Night Swan

-The Traveler (Rock Your Body) and Si'Ha Nova (Levitating) will help Jack

-Jack will have the help of his father (probably Crimson de Sail, but it has not been confirmed until now who his father is)

Hiiii so like the other night like at 3am I got bored and wrote my idea for jd25 lore and like I wanted to share it cus idk

THIS WAS JUST FOR FUN BTW also I wrote it literally at 3:47am so Ik got some stuff wrong and it’s goofy 🥲

So like how I would put this

PREQUEL SONG FOR TRAVELER AND SIHA THAT IS NOT APART OF THE LORE PLAYLIST it’s introduced in one of the seasons as a surprise song(the song being wanderlust by The Weeknd) it has them going throughout the danceverses looking for their son, calling out to him and trying to find him, whilst they are portaling through each danceverse, there are memories of them with wanderlust flashing throughout the background(specifically during the “precious little diamond” parts) at the end they then portal to Eternyx where they find Jack. The song ends here.

Solo Song(grenade) for Jack as the start off to the lore that talks about him wanting to find his friends and to help them but he knows they wouldn’t like this due to them being corrupted and would very likely attack him so he’s stuck because he doesn’t know how to save them TILL traveler and siha show up via portal and offer to help him

Solo for Sara that shows the just dancers immediately after the events of tainted love being commanded by her & night swan to go and turn the citizens of the danceverses evil at the end they all portal out to do so

Solo song for brezziana that shows her being mean to the people and forcibly turning them to swan servants, jack, now accompanied by siha and traveler find her in sun horizon and try to fight her but she escapes with the people that she’s turned into servants. Afterwards a random coach decided to join traveler, siha and Jack in order to help their friends who were turned.

Next song will be with mihaly causing a huge panic in dancity which causes people to turn into swan servants. Jack & co find them again but they just miss them so they focus on calming everyone and then afterwards another random coach joins them

NEXT SONG is purely just wanderlust. This song would have him not actually turning anyone. He’s inside his discoball realm which now has a throne and kinda looks like a small castle. In this song he sings about how he has plans to completely ditch night swan and take over the danceverses for himself. At the end he opens a portal to see his mother, father, Jack and other coaches leaving dancity, knowing that they are looking for him + the other dancers he then leaves to tell nightswan (but also because he wants to challenge his parents for the throne)

Song with nightswan where Sara is beside her, wanderlust is in it for a bit and it’s him warning them and he kinda just goes off camera while Nightswan and Sara plan a way to fight against traveler, siha + the coaches and to get Jack to join their side but are cut short as Jack & co found the boat so the nightswan immediately calls back the just dancers and the song ends

Second to last song aka battle song (emperors new clothes by jann) the just dancers are commanded by night swan to go and attack them and they go do that BUT they do it 1 by 1 and they all get turned back to the good side by Jack & team TILL they get to wanderlust. Wanderlust specifically tries to go after traveler and siha but Jack blocks him and starts a fight/dance with him(kinda mirrors the beginning of majesty) to try and distract him so that siha and traveler can turn him good again, eventually they manage to do that but because of how much magic they used wanderlust doesn’t really wake up like mihaly, brezz, and the other swan servants the accompanied him did and he kinda just knocks out, traveler and nova stay behind to look after him but lend Jack a helping hand with their magic . Then after that sara now appears last to challenge Jack and his team but she loses and turns good again lmfao, THEN Nightswan appears and she is pissed and starts to fight them herself, another huge fight ensues and eventually now that the dancers are (sorta) together, they all team up against nightswan, before nightswan is defeated however, she sends out a bout of her magic to infect one last person, that person being wanderlust who at this point is barely waking up, the magic that infects him is still too weak to fully take over his mind though. It cuts back to nightswan literally just proofing into black feathers or something.

After this, they all reunite with eachother and celebrate the defeat of nightswan, the song ends.

The final song is a victory part song with the just dancers + the people of the danceverses now celebrating the defeat of night swan. Everything is happy till at the very end when they all go their separate ways, wanderlust, traveler, and siha return to the hotel, they give him a hug and then leave the room. Wanderlust immediately after goes into his discoball realm that is still adorned with the dark royalty stuff + the throne, he walks up to the throne and sits on it and the magic that infected him at the end of the battle song fully takes him over and it now has wanderlust as the new evil threat basically and that him being “chosen to rule the danceverses” wasn’t really a good thing. And the prophecy about him saving the danceverses was like, super duper wrong. The lore ends here.

I have some guesses for JD Lore Week 2024 I want to commit to writing- because hey, then it will be extra exciting if I get something right!

(writing this after the first two days- A Queda and Vampire. Much as I love Sweet But Psycho, I don't have any guesses for Day 3.)

JD 24 Story (Dance with the Swan): look, I'm excited to have some light shed on the main story no matter what, but the fact that Siha had the Wanderrose* moment in her Lore Video about Queer Stuff really struck me. She's previously talked about its striking resemblance to a canon romantic interaction (between Si'ha Nova and the Traveler.) I feel like if we'll ever get anything remotely official, it would be from this lore video.

Can't Tame Her: we've watched Siha's video diary of her journey to playing Clementine. I was under the assumption there wasn't much in-universe lore for this map, so it's exciting to learn I'm wrong! Furthermore, clearly we need some new protagonists for the 25 story since most of them are currently preoccupied being evil. Maybe Clementine will get a story role? That would be so cool for Siha!

*I'm just never going to start calling it 'Jacklust' okay??

If it's okay to ask what your relationship with each one of the Just Dancers and if you know people outside of them?

"Hm! Not that I know of. I've never really met any other people outside of the Danceverse. I only met Sara, who's not from here. I've heard of The Traveler and Shia' Nova, who are Lusty's parents. They basically hate my mother, and I hate them." Jack explained, crossing his arms as he huffed at the memory of his best friends parents.

"And as for my relationships with the rest of the Just Dancers, it goes like this.

Me and Brezziana's relationship is more active and is always about getting fit. Me and her basically go and work out. She does this thing called 'B Jams'. It's where we work out for a period of time and then have a break before going back to our workout. It's not bad. But, she likes to get carried away sometimes. I'm still trying to get those raw eggs in a cup out of my memory." He said, shuddering. "Ugh! Nasty. I'll never forget the way Bre-Bre slurped the raw eggs from that cup. I still have nightmares. It's horrible." Jack said, trying to erase the memory before clearing his throat. "But, she always lifts me up with her energetic spirit."

"Me and Mihaly's relationship are more like relaxed if you will. They are always doing this weird relaxing thing where you to karate but more chill. It's called Tai-Chi, I guess you could say. They also are really helpful whenever I get mad over my mother, taking control of the other coaches. They are also teaching me meditation. I think I'm up to the shoes off part." He said, shrugging as he grasped onto his microphone tightly.

"Me and Sara are quite good. She tells me really great stories about her home from Earth. She also is the one who always wants to try makeovers on me. I'm still trying to wash out the blue dye from my hair from that unicorn makeover she gave me." He explained, brushing his fingers through his red hair. "She is also the very first person I ever saw. (Besides, Lusty and the rest of the gang.) She is also the caring one and cares for everyone. But boy, do not tick her off." Jack said, looking at the viewer. "God help, Mihaly, who accidentally bumped into her prized collection of hairpieces. I could not forget how angry Sara looked and how fearful Mihaly was. It was so bad. We basically all go by a code to not make her angry." He said, shrugging.

"Me and Lusty are more like brothers than friends. Our relationship is basically who's the better son of the travelers, I guess you could say." He said, shrugging. "We are practically the duo of the group. Basically, like brothers kind of. Lusty makes me laugh by doing something that isn't even really considered on our mission to take down my mother." Jack said, looking at them. "Considering he is the son of The Traveler and Siha' Nova, (two bozos I still dislike very much) I was a bit skeptical of him at first, and soon realized that I shouldn't hurt others." He said, shrugging. "He is the first one who introduced me to video games, and we play them all the time when we're not on missions saving the Danceverse from my mom. He is also the first one who I told that I'm a scaredy-cat when it comes to anything horror related. But he means well. Lusty is also teaching me how to help take care of DiscoBall when he's not around. Basically, we are mostly like brothers. And we are also dating if you- I think I said too much." Jack explained as he soon covered his mouth, turning red.

Here's my two coin opinions : If there's a factory likely to be the same from Build a B****, it's the factory from 'Da Funk', since it's "robot toy" theme. For Titanium, it's kinda the same aesthetic as 'Can't Get You Out Of My Head", and 365 kinda looks like it's happening on Si'Ha Nova's planet now that I think about it

This is true!! I will have to say that Siha Nova is most likely from Flo World, meaning any robots from there would have to be related to deities.

shepard spars with pretty much anyone, usually, if she’s in the mood for a good fight without actually--you know, killing someone.

with ashley, she dodges. ashley’s a charger, likes to punch and use her body weight to knock you down. shepard sidesteps, spins, hands behind her back, barely even breathing hard, until she can kick a foot out and send ash tumbling to the ground. ashley says she reminds her of sara--sun reminds her that she has, in fact, studied martial arts

kaidan is thrown off by sweet words and smiles, and shepard uses her feminine wiles a little too freely when they spar. its all good fun and harmless, they both know, but he falls for them every damn time.

with liara, its biotics practice, and the asari has decades upon decades of training on her, but shepard is wild with her biotics. shes wild and untamed and she can catch liara off guard, put her on her back at the last moment with a laugh.

tali isn’t a hand-to-hand fighter, but shepard insists on giving her self defense pointers. at least, if she ends up in another alley, she’ll have a better chance of getting out alive.

wrex is a monster, and damn near breaks shepard’s spine the first time he throws her. she waves him off, even as dr. chakwas frets. “i’ll get you back one day, old man. just wait.” she knows better than to try again, though--and curing the genophage settles that score anyway.

thane is a master, as at ease in a fight as he is standing still. shepard takes his hits hard, and its the first time she’s lost a sparring match in longer than she can remember (not counting wrex). she learns fast, though--watches his moves, left hook right hook step back swing--and he laughs through his heavy breathing when she finally manages to pin him down. “well done, siha.”

zaeed fights dirty, and she knows dirty. she learned to fight dirty in the back halls of dirty space stations, in alleys where her height and chest meant men thought they could take what they pleased. learned to fight dirty from a mother who had grown up in a bad place, and learned that sometimes you can’t play by the rules if you want to live. after she puts him on his back the first time, he refuses to play again.

grunt is dangerous, but she’s faster than he can catch sometimes, and since he’s a krogan, she lets loose a little more. she finally gets nova and charge down, sparring with him. leaves a dent in cerberus’s logo on their shuttle that she can’t quite feel bad about.

kasumi refuses, as does jacob for whatever reason. sun doesn’t mind so much.

jack is--incredible. she’s angry and she doesnt hold back, but even she steps back panting from their spar--neither of them having been able to pin the other--impressed with shepard. “you’ve got some moves, princess.” shepard just laughs and shakes her head, trying not to remember the blood on her hands from that day when she was sixteen on mindoir. “you don’t know the half of it.”

miranda tells her its unprofessional, though over a year and a half later, she says “buy me dinner and i’ll think about dancing with you,” at sun’s engagement party. shepard just laughs and shakes her head--troubleshooting space divas shouldnt be fighting each other anyway

samara refuses to spar, but she teaches shepard to meditate. she teaches both shepards to meditate, actually, and its life changing. shepard feels the stress melt away, feels the weight of the world lift for one moment, and its a trick she carries with her long after samara has left the normandy.

she uses marine tactics with vega--straightforward, punch and kick, grab his arm and toss him like a rag-doll when he lets his guard down for a second. they laugh together and shepard remembers what its like to have friends outside of her little suicide squad

javik only watches from the sidelines, no matter how many times she asks. “i would only embarrass you, commander,” is his excuse. she grins and shoots back, “i think you just think i’ll embarrass you.”

kira only fights sun when they’re both too worked up to find anything else to do. with two sticks and a drum beat, its a real fight, but they never land a hit on each other--she can read her cousin like a picture book, and kira can read her right back. they spin and twist and flip and clash until they tire--except the one time they dont. the time before earth, the time right after thessia--kira tosses her a staff and tells her to get in the ring and sun ends up face first on the mat, hands behind her back and a stick pressing her neck into the ground. “you’re better than this,” her cousin says. “don’t let this loss blind you. you have to push forward. we need you.”

with garrus, it’s a dance. sun knows turians, and sun knows garrus (knows each and every weak point on his body, the last time before they hit earth--which spots make him gasp, which spots make him groan, where to press her mouth to make his eyes roll back in his head) but this isn’t about that. he’s never quite forgiven her for their first sparring match, back on the sr-1, and he’s determined this time. kick, punch, block, twist--he meets her, hit for hit, but then he stumbles, because she’s spinning them as she moves, and his feet get just a little too tangled, sending him to the ground with a resounding thump. she falls astride his waist, smiling down at him as his hands run over her thighs. “pinned ya,” she laughs, wriggling away before he can get any ideas.

when her eldest daughter is 13, she puts on shepard’s n7 hoodie--its too small for her, god how turians grow--and asks her to teach her to fight. “i’ll be going to boot camp soon. i want to be ready.” 

sun tilts her head. “don’t wanna ask your dad?”

nox just flicks her mandibles in a grin. “please. we all know you could put dad on the ground in two seconds flat if you wanted.”

sun finds she can’t really argue with that.
