oh i think about this a lot!! actually in my original draft, jada was not supposed to meet alisa at work, she was supposed to start talking to her online in one of those old school chat rooms, this one was geared towards people who believed in (and mostly lied about having) supernatural abilities :P jada would just lurk there and didn't believe anything she read, but one day she would see a post from someone claiming to live nearby, who was talking about a recent hit & run death in great detail that you wouldn't be able to find out from the news (because they hadn't even found out who did it yet). and it would've turned out that alisa was the anonymous poster, and she had touched the arm of the person who committed the hit & run, so she saw the whole event and knew things no one else did. when the man was arrested and many of alisa's details were confirmed, jada eventually believed her and they arranged to meet in real life. i still like this idea, but it would really only make sense if this story was taking place in like the early 2000s lmao

Hey, I really love your Sims 4 lost project and I am absolutely dying to save it to my game, but unfortunately (idk if this is just a problem on my end with my computer) all the files are corrupted and stop my game from opening altogether. I made sure to put everything in the right files but for some reason it just won't work. I also tried going on your cc list document to see if I could download the content needed that way but something was wrong with that file too and I am unable to open it to read what is inside. I tried opening the document on my other computer but the problem is the same. Do you have any alternate downloading methods or trouble shooting ideas I could try? No stress if not :)

Hi! That’s really frustrating to hear, I’m so sorry :( the files you have and the files I have are one and the same, and my game is working fine, the only things I can think of are;

1. If MCCC command centre was included in the download, or you have had it in your game while trying my files, I know that the recent update broke it and there is a new version available so maybe try redownloading that!

2. I’ve had a little trouble with CC recently, a few broken, and from memory…the braces variations of @magic-bot ‘s default teeth replacements may have been broken (I included the whole lot of replacements in the CC for the project), I removed them from my game as they were flagged by Tray Importer. Maybe just trial and error it? Try moving your Mods folder out and then running the game, then if the files work (or at least appear in your gallery as usual, I wouldn’t try loading them without the mods) at least you know it’s a CC problem!

3. If, and this is a big if, you’re assuming the files are corrupted because of the way they appear in the gallery (black and white, red, jigsaw-y, question marks), try opening them anyway. I have had a few households in my gallery appear in this way too but load completely fine for some reason.

I hope this helps! As far as I’m aware, the files have been file before the Feb 25th update (and this is the first I’m hearing of an issue) so it may just be something as simple as broken CC.

I am SO sorry I let this stew for so long, I have an AWFUL attention span and kept getting distracted by other projects! Here she is ! The video has very strong Jennifer's Body vibes so I lent into that, and went with the cliché 'siren man-eating cheerleader' thing–hope thats good with you!

Hi! Looking forward to seeing your next Sims! A couple of questions: I don't see the old pinned post about your upcoming sims, just the one about the Lost ones (which look amazing btw) and now the Buffy one I'm very excited about! Were you still releasing whichever the others were on the old pin? And Question 2: do you have any tips/can you offer any help/talk about how you make such accurate lookalike Sims from TV shows and other media? Simmers make it look so easy, but I can't figure it out tbh... Thanks!

Hi! Thanks for your question :) First of all, thank you for reminding me that that LOST post was still pinned! I pinned it for a while because a few people for people on Reddit, but I very much intended to replace it with my 'upcoming projects' one and totally forgot! It's all sorted now. Everything on that post will be released, and anything that has been is linked on it :)

Second of all, great question! I find even though it sounds obvious, always have a photo of the person you want to capture the likeness of. Don't assume you just know what they look like. I usually stick with a front profile photo to begin with, then will look at 3/4 and side views if I'm still struggling (but not always, as altering the side profile in Sims can sometimes completely change the front and make it look goofy. I'd rather have an accurate front profile and dodgy side.). I then try to have my game split screen in windowed mode with the photo along side it (if you can't get split screen there are a few apps available to overlay images onto windows) zoomed and positioned so that the real guy's head is the same size as the sim's. From there, I start by trying to get the physical features lined to match their position on the photo and get the size of them correct. Then, I always start with the eyebrow shape (sliders from @miikocc help a lot) and the eyes (again, @obscurus-sims sliders for eyelids will help capture more complicated shapes and hooded eyes). A lot of the time, its actually the width of the neck that makes a sim look goofy so @golyhawhaw 's Neck Width Slider is a life saver for male sims. Just keep going back and forth between the picture and your sim, choose the most accurate hairstyle you can and don't be afraid to download as many CC sliders as you can find as these really optimise the games' sculpting ability.

Thank you! This is my first ask, so this is very exciting! All of my stuff (pinned upcoming projects or otherwise) will be available to the public and posted to this blog. I’m a bit scared of Patreon, it seems very grown up. I think the first release will be of Joel and Ellie in the first game, and then depending on the reception/demand I may release a version from the second (possibly including side characters).
