Happy February everyone! This month I decided to recolor the absolutely gorgeous Simpliciaty Willow hair pictured above! It comes in Remi’s naturals (and texture), my usual variety of unnaturals (1), and selection of naturals (2), and is sorted with the other medium-length hairs I’ve recolored.

Notes:

Bit of a weird hair to replace with these nice curly hairs, but what else was I gonna do with it? Plus, we NEED more curls in game!

Imvu May hair was my original pick for a curly hair, but that hair can't be decimated in blender, so I can't reduce the polycount (I tried, but it looked like a stack of hay). That's why I added the Willow hair as an option, so that there is a curly low poly option available as replacement. Downside is that I now can't decide which one I want in game myself!

Imvu May hair is edited. Its a bit lower on the scalp, I added a face texture (hairline) and removed some strands that clipped in the neck. The hair is also slightly resized.

I did both conversions to child myself. (Was needed for the IMVU hair to copy the edits!)

Both hairs obviously moved out of the hat section.

We have not enough curly hairstyles in TS2, aren't we? 

— for all ages (it was a rare case when I recalled that toddlers exist xD), both genders — polycount: 4.2k (yes it’s not a joke, there are really only 4.237 polygons in the mesh)  — smooth bones assignments and animated — textures: simpliciaty’s — color palette — binned and familied; elders come in grey (linked to black); custom greys are available for child-adult — original ts4 mesh here
