i don't think any of you realize just how funny timočka buna was. imagine managing to secure serbian independence from the ottoman empire, imagine managing to become the first serbian king since 1371. and somehow still managing to be such a shitty ruler that in 1883., out of fear that people might rebel against you, you order them to give up their weapons and the people rebel against you because of that. who else had the range

there is actually a lot of overlap in themes in darksiders and ultrakill.
both have angels who are not being taken serious by the fandom, god/the maker has been either very absent or straight up left, earth went through an apocalyptic scenraio and is now either completely inhabitable or at least in shambels and who ever is trying to upkeep order while the big boss is absent is either corrupt by intention or by blind devotion.

i'm gonna say it.
i think some of you guys are too mean on heartstopper for no actual good reason.
just because a media is targeted towards teens doesn't lessen its value as queer media. i'm not saying its devoid of critique or anything. it can be like any other queer media. but like any queer media it has a right to exist.
i've been seeing a lot of cynical losers spur on about the show for being what it is; a teen romcom.
while i completely understand (and even agree) with the critique that the "cutest gay stuff" is clearly favoured by companies as it's easy marketability instead of more adult queer media, that doesn't have to do with the media itself. it has to do with companies seeing creativity through marketability, not for what it is.

Also btw since I'm having a fucking time
There is no such thing as "corporate greed" in terms of "they're charging too much for too little" when it comes to non-necessities
Corporate greed is for example people taking a life saving medicine patent and skyrocketing the price because it's a Life Saving Necessity that people WILL spend that money because they LITERALLY HAVE TO
A company offering an optional good or service (in this discussion, video games) that you don't want to pay for it not corporate greed, that's simply you not finding it worth it. If something is not necessary, it cannot be greed, then it is simply Not Worth It. You don't need it, you can go without it, Hence, you have the option to abstain. And if you have the option to abstain. We can't claim corporate greed, it is simply Too Highly Priced For Your Demand.
Generally how this works in theory terms is that you decide "This isn't worth it, so I'm going elsewhere." This is the concept of competition and the free market and all of that. Where people offer the best goods for the best price and everyone competes on who can have the lowest price while stile remaining afloat while offering the best in that price range. Obviously it's not this simple in practice, but I'm just saying when we're talking about Star Stable Fucking Entertainment. It is not corporate greed. You're just not going elsewhere.
