It's the week end!

And since it is, lucky yous, get to see the las evolution in Vogoel les mouettes

lovely animal...

So there has been quite a bit of progress

This is the horse part of Vogoel, except for the local FR3 les Mouettes (Tv and radio), and the (very) local newspaper "le Plumier Argenté"

So this is more or less complete, now to the planning:

So, as @batsheba suggested, we will have a spooky castle near the biggest waterfall of them all, with a shared parking lot for a rock climbing site, as friend @samkat10423 said because one needs to fill graveyards.

Next, I was thingking either spooky forest with crazy inventor and a mine... or maybe a balooning station? I'm not sure

The very last bit will be "L'ile" (original,I know), with the famous Anse Houchpette.

And I don't think anyone will get the silly, silly pun on a 1970's French film here (yup, I'm an old)

So this little part will have the ferryman house... and a Ferry, to get all those tourists over.

Now, I have a question: Do you prefer Pirate theme for the Island, or more of a supernatural theme? Both can be good but I'm not fixed yet. What do you guys think?

It's time to get nostalgic.

With this update of my Sims (2000) world, you can revisit every lot and every household from the Sims 1 in an open world experience in the Sims 3! This addition adds the Magic Town and Vacation Island area's, making this a complete Sims 1 world, that includes every Sims 1 neighborhood.

I apologize for the long delay in releases this update for this Sims 3 world. My real life has gotten very hectic, so it's been hard to make time for this project. I hope it was worth the wait and that you'll enjoy reliving the Sims 1 in this Sims 3 world.

This world was made with every Sims 3 expansion pack (except for Into The Future), in addition the the High End Loft and Town Life stuff packs. You can install the world even if you do not own all of these packs. But the save file (which includes all of the premade sims, ghosts and some fixes) can only be played if you have all of these packs installed.

To everyone who has installed and played the previous version of my Sims (2000) world: to install this version, you'll need to uninstall the old one. If you have an active save file with the previous (1st) version of this world, please backup any households and builds you want to save to your library. Because that save file will probably become unplayable after installing the updated world file.

I have one little request… If you know any other long time simmers, please share this project with them. I would love it if as many people as possible get a chance to enjoy this nostalgic experience <3

Also, if you enjoy setting up high quality screenshots, I'd love to see them and use them to promote this world.

I made this tractor for my city TARIA (GOLD EDITION), and wanted to share it after the city's release. But I forgot =)

Трактор и прицеп идут отдельно. Это переделка из трактора "Дедушкина Роща". Как вы видите он упрощен и я уменьшила на сколько это возможно количество полигонов, чтобы не ухудшить модель. Это декор, который так же можно использовать в CAW и размещать в самом городе. Для установки прицепа к трактору в режиме строительства на участке используйте код Moveobjects on.

The tractor and trailer come separately. This is a conversion from the "Grandfather's Grove" tractor. As you can see, it is simplified and I reduced the number of polygons as much as possible so as not to degrade the model. This is decor that can also be used in CAW and placed in the city itself. To install a trailer to a tractor in construction mode on a site, use the code Moveobjects on.

Tillage 2.0 - Residential Lot Edition

Over the last month, I've been building up @eisfee's North Bend in order to move my sims over.

As much as I love Tillage—number one: it was time to expand beyond Tillage's capacity, and two: as I'm on patch 1.67, I'd accidentally bugged my game by installing the asymmetric relationship mod before it was confirmed that it only worked on 1.69.

As Tillage 2.0 is now finished and my sims are freshly ported in, here are some pictures of around town before I begin posting my gameplay.

There are old houses, and new houses. Since this is a continuation of Tillage 1.0, my existing sims needed to keep their former homes.

Keeping to my English theme, there are a lot of terraced houses among (1) council flat and...

...(1) modern apartment.

There are also some over-the-shop flats for those on a budget! Mollie Mills' flat can be seen below; it's now just outside the centre of town.

The small town of Phantom Rock that I'm currently working on. The idea is to build a slightly cartoonish city with a gothic aesthetic that remains modern.

Sometimes I want to create a little crazy supernatural characters and I'd like to have a neighborhood that matches them (when I put them in other neighborhoods, I think they look weird there)

In the screenshots you can see the different stages of creating Phantom Rock. I haven't decided on the location of the buildings yet, so they are different everywhere. But I found a great place for a castle (actually 3 great places оn the first scrin)

So, big progress made in Voegoel les Mouettes this week. I completed the beach side of the Island... So, in order:

So, on the extreme right we have the cheap (but legal) accomodations for tourists. Talking tents and basic comfort here, the kind where you better carry your own TP roll... For the Frenchies, say hello to Patrick Chirac on the way...

Next, some more serious business:

Nest, we're entering farming gountry, and on this precise place, methinks scenic ruins (thanks to Sandy at @aroundthesims) and a nectary because this is France and we're not joking with important stuff like wine (StopcallingitnectarTYVM)

That is it for this week! As you can see, making good progress... but this is the fun part, once that do there will be the fine details, the lighting, the road panels and all the small (annoying) stuff like fine detailing the routing and stuff

Sul sul!

The past months I have been working on a very exciting project. I made a world for the Sims 3 that has all neighborhoods from the Sims 1 included! When it is done it will basically be open-world Sims 1!  

I cannot wait to actually play in it. But for now I have still got a lot of building to do.

I have shared a WIP version of the world file earlier this month, so that you can check out the general plan. Who knows, if you install it you might run into some issues with it, which will be very good for me to know!  You can download it here. A little note, this version only has the Studio Town lots in it.

I will do an ‘official’ release of this Sims 3 world when I have completed all lots from Sim Lane, Old Town, Downtown and Studio Town. (36/50 lots have been built so far)

A final version that also includes all lots from Vacation Island and Magic Town will be released later on. 

I play the Sims on a pretty old laptop and my visuals specs are very low. If you want to help me with taking some pretty screenshots of this world, please let me know! I could definitely use the help!

Another subject I could use help with is populating the world. I cannot make a single sim in CAS without the game crashing. That makes it very difficult for me to make a lively populated world. If you’re really into the Sims 1 and CAS and you’re interested in helping me out, please let me know! <3

New world in progress! For now, I'm calling it Area 57. The premise is that this is where the Seasons aliens bring abducted sims for testing. The town is build inside a massive meteor crater, and the only way in or out is a small airport. Or a spaceship, I guess.

I'm planning on building a few tombs that unlock secret labs. I'd love to populate it with aliens, but I understand that isn't possible in CAW, so I'll have to figure something else out.

For now, enjoy all the wood paneling! Your favorite boomer should feel right at home.
