The Furniture Showroom (CC Pack for The Sims 4)

Over the last few months I have seen some pieces of furniture that I wanted to make but that didn't fit well in any of my previews cc pack ideas. I saved them for a while and I finally found a very cool idea where they all can live together: A Furniture Showroom.

And of course, I always have wanted to recreate the ICONIC Heart-shaped Bed and Hot Tub from The Sims 1 and well, since this is the cc pack of February, I thought it would be appropriate for Valentine's Day.

Along the kinky bedroom and the motel style patio, I created 4 more mini collections that you can use to decorate your Sims houses: a bathroom, a sunroom space, an eclectic reading area and a mini study room.

WooHoo Collection, the bed is inspired in the real life Heart-shaped Bed from the "Pass the Spark" MV featuring Anitta. 

Niagara collection. Inspired by the ICONIC Niagara Love Tub from The Sims: Hot Date.

Eccentric and Bogat collection.

Heart & Angel Set for The Sims 2

Here a bunch of items I did for a commision: Posters and Neon Light are from Hydrangea, low poly. The Angel Tv is from Pixelvibes (it's high poly, 15k but I also added a low poly version which is 5k. At the end of this post you will find a picture to compare them). The Heart Table is from Mechtasims. The sink is from Sims41ife.

Who wants to create a K-Drama moment for their Sims? :)

This is a Korean bar set :D

ITEMS THAT COME WITH THIS SET:

A functional bar (two versions: empty or with a beer dispenser (imgur link), bar stools, 6 neon lights, a wall (bottles) display, and a bar wall sign.

🍺 RECIPES/ DRINKS:

SOJU FLAVORS: Apple, Apple Mango, Blueberry, Citron, Fresh, Grapefruit, Green Grape, Mango, Original (Chum Churum), Original (Jinro),  Peach, Strawberry, Plum, Sour Candy, Yogurt, Zero Sugar.

BEER: Terra, Cass, Hite Extra Cold.

OTHERS: Somaek (Cass beer+Soju), Somaek (Terra beer + Soju), Makgeolli.

🍺 All types of soju and beers can be served in a glass or drunk straight from the bottle.

🍺 Only the Somaek (it's a "mixed drink") and the Makgeolli can't be drunk from the bottle.

🍺 If you choose the drink/glass version, the bartender will prepare it for you. You'll notice that they'll use the "correct bottle" to make your drink.

Example: If you order Strawberry Soju (glass), the bartender will use a Strawberry Soju bottle while making your drink. It was a lot of work to do, but I wanted it to look as realistic as possible :)

🍺 There are also different types of glasses depending on what drink you order.

🍺 If you order the drink (glass), your Sims will drink it in 3 sips. If you order the bottle, they'll drink it in 5 sips.

🥘 RECIPES/FOOD:

NACHOS: Your Sims will eat it with their hand, taking the nacho chips. It's vegetarian safe.

BINDAETTEOK: It's a pancake made with mung bean. You can fill it with meat or just vegetables. Since I wanted more Sims to be able to eat it, I made it vegetarian safe. It's up to your imagination what the pancake fillings are :) Your Sims will eat it using (custom) chopsticks.

CRISPY FRIED CHICKEN: Your Sims will eat it using the chopsticks as well. This way they won't get their hands dirty with all the oil and sauces  XD. It's not safe for vegetarian Sims.

🥘 All of these three recipes take 5 bites to be finished/eaten :)

B's Bowlarama Renovation

Here is a renovation of the B's Bowlarama in University. I'm currently thinking about renovating the whole world because i absolutely ADORE AND LOVE the sims 3 university expansion pack. BUT there's not a lot to do and i rarely go to the university world because of it. So here is PART ONE OF RENOVATING THE SIMS 3 UNIVERSITY WORLD. (PS: I did change some things off camera so the build will look different than what you seen from the video.)

Read this before installing:

If u have trouble placing this lot, use the neighborhood terrain cheat that catherintcjd shows how to use in the pics of this MTS post. If you use shaders like dreadpirate's no blue snow, remove them first or you might not be able to see the green square cursor that you use to adjust the terrain. This beach lot terrain was slightly adjusted to fit my map, so if it doesn't place easily in your hood you're gonna have to do this im sorry.

Beach terrain adjustments under the water revert when you share a lot, for this reason the floating garden underneath the glass floor is a bit jankier but you can move things around if you want. The koi fish are on omsp’s so you might want to use an omsp controller to make them visible if you want to move them around. In my version of the houseboat there is the green neon maxis disc lamp that i have underwater on a backwards omsp so it points up at the glass floor. I removed it in this version b/c since the terrain reverted, the light was trapped way under the terrain but still filling the house with a green glow, so i deleted it since it would be a bit tricky for others to remove without having to use CFE.

Snow comes through the hot tub roof onto the bed lmao just know that this happens. You can use simnopke’s time and weather controller to stop snow or stop snow accumulation. I’m not sure if this problem will stop if the hot tub is removed, haven’t tried it. Not sure if rain comes through, i assume it does butttt i haven't noticed. 😇

CC is included, there are two subfolders in the zip: one is maxis recolors and one is meshes or recolors that I either couldn't/forgot to place on the lot before packaging. ** You NEED to install Numenor's no cutaway wall if you do not already have it, otherwise walls will be missing.**

How do you get your lighting so scrumptious in edits?

Lighting tutorial under the cut (it's long lol) I use photoshop + topaz clean btw :)

This will be our starting pic!! I use @hazelminesims photoshop action (all in one) to get the smoothening and overall base done first.

First step to colograding is using the 'Camera Raw Filter' in photoshop and adjusting the tint and curves tools. I generally like a greener, more cool toned color for pictures.

2. Now for the shadows on the sim! I make a new layer, set to 'Multiply' and use a soft brush at around 25-40% opacity with the color Black. I generally will add shadows to the parts of the body that are being 'covered' (neck, side of the nose, forehead, insides of arms and clothes). *If you use reshade/ gshade and have the mxao filter on, mimic where that filter adds shadows and either enhance it or add it in photoshop!*

3. In a new 'Multiply' layer, I do the same thing with the background. I darken the elements in the back to emphasize that my sim is in the forefront of the shot. TIP: don't add shadow to the light sources (neon signs, lights in the background) ! We actually want to enhance those.

4. Make a new layer, set to 'Pin light' at 100%. Grab a soft brush and highlight those light sources in the back. You can go crazy here, just take the Eyedropper tool to color match the highlights you want to emphasize. It might look a bit much right now, but we can tone this down by decreasing the layer opacity, Gaussian blurring the layer, and erasing any excess highlights if we want.

5. Now we add highlights to the sim. I make a new layer, set to 'Soft light' at 100% opacity, and with the white color, I highlight the sims body and clothes. (Now we want to add light to the 'raised areas' such as the center of the forehead, nose bridge, chin, chest, and arms). I also like to highlight any jewelry (necklace and belt buckle).

On a separate new layer, set to 'Vivid Light', I changed the brush colors to the ones in the background light sources (I used blue, yellow, and purple.) I'll go over the outlines of the sim's body with these colors (shoulders and arms, hair, side of face and neck.)

If you ever feel like you've gone overboard, just lower the opacity of the highlight layers and Gaussian blur them!

6. After you've messed around with the highlights, add the finishing touches. Usually once I merged all the layers I would go over with the Dodge and Burn tools to enhance the contrasts even more. I also recommend downloading and using LUTs for photoshop (I just use any free ones I find online).

Hi! Sharing another sim ( ˶ˆᗜˆ˵ )

I decided to go with a green/gold colour scheme this time. I imagine Chloe as a history or archeology student (⎚ᵕ⎚)

The only outfit included is the everyday outfit! The outfit is copied over to every other category.
