5 September Way - 4bed 3bath Home - Light CC

Hello again! Today I am very sleepy and building seems like the best way to pass the time. So here is another lot inspired by this Vintage Home Plan. The original plan actually had this as a duplex but houses with more bedrooms is always something I need so I decided to merge the duplex into one.

This is on a 3x2 lot! CC includes the siding, tile floors, and one base game door centered on 2 tiles. Windows and an archway from @honeywell-mts Bespoke Colonial Set. An 'Unkept Shrubbery' from @kayleigh-83 's 4t2 conversion. And the classic Retro Door converted here by @shastakiss.

Recolors are included but you'll probably need to grab the meshes listed above! Also please keep in mind I am using default flowers and default shrubbery by @tvickiesims, so the landscaping will probably be a bit different if you don't use those.

Church & Dragonfly Wedding Venue [Base Game]

This is a WIP build for my base game only save file: Silent Pines. This lot contains a small church, graveyard, and an inn/wedding venue. I've never built something like this before in the style of Silent Pines so I hope I'm doing it justice.

I also finished a motel lot, a library, and a dive bar/music store, so things are going well! Thank you again for all the love and support, it really motivates me to build <3

also on the roof of the building there are common recreation areas for all families who live in the house: there is a garden and grills and other activities, and there is a laundry on the first floor

Early 2000s Home 02 - Download Here

Hi again! I'm continuing in Newcrest with another home inspired by the 2000s. I decided to go more vintage looking with the furniture. I imagine much of the house was decorated in the 90s or earlier. This house has 4 bedrooms and is intended for a big family. I had so much fun doing the 3 kids rooms. My fav parts of the house would have to be the kitchen, dining, and back patio areas. I'm going to continue building in Newcrest. I'm not sure if the next house I do will be as intentionally nostalgic but we'll see. For now i'm enjoying that vibe. Pretersolaria Institute: CC-Free Uni & Individual Lots

Eventually I want to share the entirety of Rhyolite Valley, but it's a bit hairy with the 47 sims & CC hood deco & the garbage data I let seep in while playing (so I'd have to remake all of that before sharing).

I thought I'd "practice" the process of remaking the hood by starting a little smaller: The uni subhood. Since I only made a handful of sims for it (which are not included... yet) and it works aesthetically without CC hood deco. Sounds simple, right? Weelllll it took about a week of near daily effort to actually do. Makes the prospect of doing the actual hood soooo much more exciting lol /s

Anyway, that's what this is: A new university subhood template that's CLEAN & EMPTY. As a bonus (or if you just don't like the subhood), I've also included individual lot packages for every lot in the subhood to use wherever you want.

The "gimmick" of this hood is that Rhyolite Valley, and by extension Pretersolaria Institute, is entirely self-sufficient & cobbled together by the local residents. Which means there's no indoor plumbing lol.

That also means simply sitting down at a computer to write a term paper isn't as easy as a regular uni. Students have to go to THE BOOKMOBILE to access computers. Same goes for the skill building required for each semester/major. You have to venture out to the relevant community lot to find the means for skill building.

I've included in the uni's photo album & the lot descriptions which skills are available to build on each lot. It'll say "+Cooking" or whatever skill(s) the lot can provide based on the objects it has.

Place the "PRTR" folder in its entirety in the "Program Files > EA GAMES > The Sims 2 University > TSData > Res > NeighborhoodTemplate" directory. Or whatever equivalent location you have for a TS2 University folder in the Program Files section.

Mootilda's Subhood Selection Mod is required to see additional universities below the main 3 pre-made ones.

You can then select Pretersolaria Institute in the list of options when creating a new uni subhood in a neighborhood.

• On 2 lots (Big Heart Dude & Wiploc Amphitheatre), I used the Seasons Music career reward The Rock Hammer for speaker deco. I used MoveObjects to delete the guitar but keep the speakers.

It's possible that either A. The guitars will respawn when you move the lot in the hood, or B. Sims will attempt to play the guitar and complain about being blocked (because I purposely blocked them).

If the guitars respawn, open the lot in Buy/Build mode and with MoveObjects On use the sledgehammer tool to remove the guitar.

If sims are complaining about not being able to reach the guitar, well they're not supposed to be able to lol. If hearing them complain is annoying, you can either use this mod that makes them stop yelling when something blocks them and leaves only the thought bubble, or delete the whole object.

• The Wiploc Amphitheatre may also have some glitchy-looking ground that you can see in neighborhood view when the camera moves. This is because I shortened the lot with Lot Adjuster. I don't know how to make it stop doing that, because I've transferred the lot to other hoods, packaged the lot, Lot Cleaner'd it, Lot Compressor'd it, moved it to the Lots & Houses Bin, etc. and it has never stopped looking like that. So again if that annoys you, remove the lot I guess?

• Please let me know if there are any additional problems.

I've never done this before specifically with a uni subhood, so it's very likely I messed up somewhere.

6 September Way - 5bed 3bath Manor - w/ CC

Hello again! I am continuing my VintageHomePlan series but hitting the random button on their page and building what comes up! (Well using the builds as inspiration, definitely not building replicas or anything lmao.) This time I got this house, which is way bigger than most houses I play but I had fun building it!

This is on a 3x3 (?) lot and costs around $49k as is, Tesla not included! I just wanted to show the invisible driveway recolor fits perfectly here.

Silent Pines Town Centre [Base Game]

This is a complete build for my base-game only save file: Silent Pines. The town centre includes: A gym and post office, a library, a dive bar and comedy club/community space, a cinema, a cafe/teen hangout spot, and a diner that's heavily inspired by Life is Strange.

Again, I'd like to say thank you to everyone who has supported this project this far. And I'm very sorry for the delay, but I only have the giant park left in Willow Creek to finish, then I'll upload Silent Pines by itself as I work on Eclipse (Oasis Springs) and Twilight Bay (Newcrest).

The sign is a CC sign that I drew and it's a very rough WIP. The graffiti on the post office (the white building) is also some custom CC from free graffiti packs. I know there's been malware in some CC/mods and people are rightfully wary, so I'll be putting a CC-free Silent Pines up as well! There's very little, anyway, and my CC is safe, but just in case.

Also, I will be getting to my asks the rest of this weekend! Thanks to everyone who has sent me one, and I'm sorry for the delay.

The Eriksen Household is a location in The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit and Episode 2 of Life is Strange 2. It is the home of Charles Eriksen and Chris Eriksen. The house consists of Chris' room, Charles' room, a living room, kitchen area, bathroom and a yard. A garage is situated near to the house. *I used debug snowdrifts to make screenshots look nice, so if the season in your game is not winter you will have to remove them in b/b mode
