Autumn Farm

The farm is placed on a 30x40 lot and is surrounded by a large garden, a small apple orchard, a stable and a small autumn market stand. The house has one bedroom and is furnished in typical country house style. I have used many objects from our Farmhouse Collaboration my dear friend @sims4luxury, she the objects with so much love!

The dawn of a new century brought with it the winds of change. Alfred and his new bride, Anna, forsook the silk trade to move to Henford-on-Bagley to pursue nectar making. The move did not bring the family luck and on her 20th birthday, Anna lost the battle to typhoid and passed. Alone, and on an abandoned farm with almost no funds, Alfred had to work hard to rebuild his home and his family. Eventually, he met the humble Celestina, who was able to give him two heirs before, in 1409, he too was taken from this life. Going into the 1410s, our two main households - the Brookers and the Cliffords- must fight to keep their legacy alive, as there are very few eligble heirs remaining to pass on the family name. Meanwhile, the new families of Shaw and Bigod are blessed with a number of children to carry on the family name. Come 1420, will we still be able to call this the Brooker legacy?

Oberon is a lot of things, but what he is first and foremost is tall dark mysterious and handsome.

Oberon and his son, Astrophel, moved to town a little over a year ago.

Soon after he started teaching some of the town kids... And that's about all the locals know about him for sure.

Oberon tends to keep to himself, and with his night owl tendencies, love of all things gothic, and his expansive knowledge of history, the kids around town have a theory. All signs point to evil vampire who moved to town to escape being tried for witchcraft!

The truth, however is far less...Imaginative.

Once his disaster of a first marriage ended in divorce, Oberon realized he was stuck in a life he didn't belong in.

He quit his job as a private attorney and decided to pursue what he really loves art and gardening. So he and his son spent two weeks randomly pointing to towns on a map until they settled on a place to live.

Next up was finding a new fulfilling job, and nothing has ever been more fulfilling to him than being a father, so he jumped at the opportunity to be a teacher.

What's after that? Oberon doesn't know for sure, but it's obvious to Astrophel that he needs to step back into the dating world, much to Oberon's detest. Though he knows his son is just being supportive.

While the Wallensteins have been rooted in Chestnut Ridge for several generations, Benjamin's connection to the town was somewhat limited, mainly due to his parents' divorce. His upbringing took a unique path. His mother, a globetrotter in pursuit of fame and glory, took him with her, away to far-flung destinations for various riding competitions; while his father, a steadfast presence in Chestnut Ridge, dedicated his days to breeding and training horses.

A few months ago, an unexpected twist of fate altered the course of Benjamin's life. His father passed away, leaving Benjamin as the sole inheritor of his legacy. With the weight of the family business resting on his shoulders, Benjamin returned home, greeted by the daunting prospect of stepping into his father's shoes. However, rather than succumb to the pressure, he chose to embrace change. He sold most of the stables' horses, only keeping his favourite one, Sugar Syrup.

Now, back in Chestnut Ridge, Benjamin is resolute in his pursuit of a new dream. Inspired by his mother's achievements as a Championship Rider, he has set his sights on becoming one himself. And he knows he can do it. He's good. And thanks to his inheritance, he has a good bit of time to figure things out anyway.

Colonial street 4

A cute single family Colonial, Barnhouse style home on a 30x30 lot. The house offers a garden for planting, relaxing and playing. The house has a spacious living-dining area, with small bar room, laundry room, and two children's bedrooms, as well as a master bedroom with adjoining small bathroom. On the same floor there is also a larger bathroom and a guest toilet on the first floor.

Mara is getting the full tour today of Foxtrot Farms so the Watcher is finally putting up pictures! There are many. First, the house.

2nd floor is mostly empty at the moment, Nate only has one guest room set up that Mara stayed in the night before, plus the bathroom of course, but there's plenty of room for the future!

Vinegar Production Technology

New functional object found under 'Small Appliances'.

It costs 120$, and it can be placed almost everywhere.

When you purchase the barrel and place it, the first interaction you'll see is to 'Purchase Mycoderma' (aka Vinegar 'Mother'). This is one time thing, even if you buy multiple barrels, you'll need to do it only once (on one barrel). It costs 20$ and your Sim needs to wait 1 day before another interaction pops up (in real life vinegar takes up to 3 months to be created, so I added a little long waiting time as a sort of simulation).

After 24 hours your Sim will see another interaction - 'Prepare Vinegar', it will show you a recipe menu, with 5 possible vinegar options. You can produce Wine, Malt, Rice, Balsamic or Apple Cider Vinegar.

Each vinegar costs 30$, but if you have the neccessary ingredients, it will be free.

This is an immadiate interaction, so yourt Sim will collect the product immediatiely.

You can then open the vinegar bottle (contains 5 cups), and use it in cooking (it's SCCO comaptible and responds to ANY vinegar tag in recipies).

Or you can sell the bottle to a Grocery Store, for a little income.
