Basics.

Name/nickname: Jace. (Has been my net handle for forever.) The Grumpy Ass.

Age: 32! I am indeed made of all bones and walking canes now.

Years of writing: Since my mid-teens. It really started around the time I first got a computer at my grandma's old place. Was able to watch overseas shows then one thing led to another.

Reflection.

Why did you pick up writing?: For me if was to answer one simple thing. 'What if', and that itself could be tied to countless scenarios that wouldn't be shared in canon continuity. Initially it was what do the characters do off the screen, then it edged to getting more detailed, to what new journeys or shared moments could they have? It led to a hell of a fun snowball effect. Coming onto different platforms and seeing it was shared or that other folks were ahead of the curved served as some fun motivation. In all the good, bad and deadass kinds of wild. It led to another 'what if' to answer, and still is being answered to this day with the RP hobby.

Do you have any writing routines?: My methods for knocking out replies are to always actively read the post. (no duh Jace), BUT, this comes with the idea on how to blend and extend. How can I give the post offered to me its due diligence and reactions, but how can I equally build off that by ensuring there's enough content to be responsive to for my RP partner? I let my character perceive to find their voice in terms of response and actions during this process.

Afterwards once I got the framework in my head, I kick on some tunes I genuinely enjoy getting it all doled out with the metaphorical meat and potatoes.

That said when it comes to scrounging up not muse per say, but that certain line of writing that I'm satisfied with? I just hop back to old works (fan made and official) that really worked those writing wrinkles in my head. There's some content that vividly let my fingers flow to 'paint a picture', in either emotion or literal presence in scene setting.

What's your favorite part about writing?: For me it'd just be bringing feeling to a scene. To give a very easy ground for anyone, experienced or new in this kind of thing to just feel the said scene. Not as some realistic one for one, but as a means to let their imagination comfortably sit in the drivers seat and have these elements expand before it. Tied with that is being able to find neat/cool ways to highlight my own muse's emotions through writing, letting it so volatile in it's creativity and their said emotions in said scenario.

Three things you like about your writing.

One. I really enjoy how shameless my writing can be. Honestly speaking, my personal taste never really clashed well with 'refinement'. It's blunt and broad, it holds energy and isn't ashamed to really let that be. I feel like that essence of 'voice' within writing is an important fundamental for me enjoying it. In hand with this, it's also why I never could actively write like other authors, and trying to say write similar to how a series does would never great great results from me. I want to carry that particular voice that varies with my muses, and have it flourish with what they also bring to the table.

Two. One thing I've also become proud of is details. Coming from a point where text based dialogue writing was my main bread and butter, watching the change in how it actually expanded has been like night and day for me. In particular, being able to describe a scene in these warm, cold or chaotic ways, adding that touch of whimsical flare to my posts as well. It's primarily why I get my kick from always having some fantasy in my settings, old age, modern or futuristic all the same. I love when I can get to use all the extra detail as extensions.

Three. This isn't tied into the act of writing in itself. Now days however I have to say I really improved on the aspect of proper plotting. My main issue was that I used to make it sound either too much like a script, or I got so creativity locked that it actually sucked the fun out the process for me. Taking some new approaches to the RP hobby has actually ironed out this detail, and I've come to see the incredible amounts of fun that can be held with it too. I intend taking the utmost advantage as well.

When life throws you lemons, and gets you down, does writing become something that you're drawn to as to get you through it, or do you feel like it does the opposite?

For me it'd be the absolute opposite. My creativity first and foremost is tied to me having a good mood. Being in more negative headspaces generally makes me harder to approach, so normally I wouldn't frequent any social angles for a prolonged period while I get that ironed out. It becomes a case of contrasting gears that are heavily rusted.

This is why I often put emphasis on this being a hobby for me. To me, it's similar as to booting up a video game for example and giving it a good spin. A more downtrodden me is moreso being a slough and not really wanting to move, outside of just watching tv while being a bump on a log. Stuff like that needs genuine time for me or a key situation involving said scenario to really iron out those kinks.

It leaves a bad taste for my type of character let that touch of escaping get involved.

New question: What are your favorite details that you enjoy to highlight about your muse through writing? Is a physical element? A measure of character that holds the most flare? This can have multiple answers or a solitary one.

6. What is something that you didn’t think you will write but now you are writing it?

Honestly I did not think I would ever write South Park muses, but eversince playing the games (Stick of Truth, and Fractured But Whole), also watching the show, I forgot how much I loved this stupid show/game. I've watched this show since I was a kid. I shuldn't have, but me and my brother did lol. I have a lot of fun writing my SP muses. Craig being my favorite one, probably cuz he's feels kinda relatable to me. He's just a cynical little guy that wants no part in some random bullshit (although he did take part in some stupid bs before lol). He's also known for flipping everybody off, and he tends to be bluntly honest whether people like it or not, also tends to call people (including his friends) out on stupid bullshit haha. Of course I'm not EXACTLY like the little guy, but he still feels kinda relatable for me cuz I sometimes wish I could call people out on their bs at work lol -shit-

BTW I would NOT recommend South Park to anybody that is not too fond or crude or dark humor. I especially would not recommend this show to minors. SP is known to poke fun at actually serious topics like racism, homophobia, politics, health issues, a lot of things.

7. What is something you didn’t think you have a problem writing it and now you stopped writing it?

I'm not sure, really... I guess smut???? While I am still very self-conscious with writing smut-related content, especially on this hellsite, I have written smut on discord with a few friends before with whatever muses we actually ship together. But now I hardly write smut... Maybe smut is just not priority for me, and neither is shipping???? Although sometimes some of my muses are horny LOL. And as for ships, while I do have ships of my own, I'm actually very picky with ships these days. IDK why, I just am. I need chemistry. I won't just ship just to ship, and I won't write smut just to write smut. I also don't wanna force ship or force smut -shrugs- And even if there's a popular ship out there, sometimes even I don't ship that ship????? I hate to admit it, but sometimes it's people who tend to ruin whatever ship for me that it's hard for me to ship it now. Though sometimes it's also me disagreeing with how the ship is written even in canon haha.

Not for smut... While I'm not completely against it anymore, it's really not my top priority either even if my muses might be horny lol. It's also just me being self-conscious with writing smut in general. I'll probably write smut if we're close friends, but even with that it's not always guaranteed or promised lol. And honestly like I said before, I don't wanna write smut just to write it. I'd like for something to lead to there. I'd want the smut to feel natural if that makes any sense?????? LOL. Same goes for writing ships.

Anyway, I guess we can say that I haven't stopped writing ships or smut. I'm overall just very picky with ships, and very self-conscious and therefore very highly selective with writing smut LOL.

3. whose writing has impacted your writing style the most? (you can choose anyone! famous writer or not.)

this is probably an anticlimactic answer but i'm not sure lol. i don't think i really have someone like that? i get inspired by fanfics and my partners, sometimes books ( but i don't read real books too much ). i'm honestly not sure if my writing style is even consistent. i'm pretty insecure about my writing but i usually just try and do my best regardless ~

5. is there a muse you really want to try? if yes: what’s stopping you?

ahh, there's a few i guess. i'd love to write gaara, since he's also my other favorite character from naruto. but honestly i just don't wanna get overwhelmed with too many muses yeah know. i already have a few that hardly get any interactions so, i just don't want to have a bunch and half of them get no writing time. there are also oc's i've had ideas for but again, too many cooks.

7. describe your favorite relationship dynamic. (can be any kind, platonic, romantic, familial, antagonistic, etc.)

listen i'm just gonna be honest. romantic ships are my favorite to write, period. i'm a hopeless romantic in real life so, of course those are the things i gravitate toward. but i also love enemies? two characters who cannot stand one another kinda deal. then maybe it could become romantic or familial. also friendships are super fun!!!

10. what genre do you most enjoy, whether in roleplay, or fiction as a whole? (fantasy, period, superhero, etc.)

i don't know if i have a favorite? i enjoy horror when it comes to reading. i read two books last year and both were horror. i just bought a new book as well that's also horror but when it comes to roleplay i don't have a preference, it just depends on my mood.

🥔 - what’s the dumbest mistake you’ve made in rp?

chewsie, chewsie, chewsie,,,,, pls.  i’ve made a LOT of dumb mistakes in rp lmao.  from replying to the same thread, twice, reblogging threads to the wrong blog, thinking i’d remember to shuffle my queue when i’d have more time ( i ended up spamming the dash with like 15+ posts because i’d scheduled all my posts to publish at the same date and time?? )  yeah, i’ve done a lot stupid shit over the years.  :|

🍊 - What are your favorite genres of threads? Fluff? Angst? Etc.

oh, no.  i’m terrible at deciding this sort of stuff because i love all genres.  typically, i enjoy action / angst / suspense writing the most, but with a dash of romance as i am still a romance writer above all.  ohhh, and writing out combat, battle scenes, and injuries!  and, especially, a character’s stark recognition of their caustic reality…  i mean.  just take a gander at our threads over at han’s domain p:  hehehe         wait, these aren’t even genres sdfklsjdlf  okay, i also find immense enjoyment in fluffy, romantic + domestic threads, because i hardly ever get the chance to write these.  i just like romance a lot, too, okay.  q__q

🍌 - What drew you into the fandom in the first place?

hmmm…  this isn’t a super interesting story, but you know me, chewsie, i’m a bag of wind.  technically, it all began when i saw a friend of mine post about how the ME rpc felt stagnant and dead.  with the subject of ME in mind and nothing to do at the time, i randomly decided to create a manip of my darling son, @stillsolo, in N7 armor!

tbh it should be no surprise that i decided to do that.  i really have no excuse.  i am obsessed with sci-fi armor, and i love the N7 logo and everything it stands for.  i am not sure why, but it’s something i have always loved from the franchise.

after creating this manip, i began to follow ME blogs in hopes of finding someone to interact with.  during that time, i hadn’t played the games since 2012 but that totally didn’t stop me lol.  when @littleredrenegade eagerly reached out to me on han’s domain, i was pleasantly surprised and immediately drawn to the notion of brushing up on some of the lore.  shortly after discovering aria and her wonderful portrayal of jane, i met @sentinelmade, thus stoked my desire of revisiting the games again!

as you know, the wf rpc is pretty much dead lately, and since the sw rpc hasn’t exactly been Alive either, i didn’t hesitate for a second?  basically, i dived right in, head-first, began re-playing the trilogy … and it alllllllll went downhill after that.  don’t regret a thing, though!  \owo/ ♥

❥ Has someone ever ruined an FC or character for you? 

Nah, I wouldn’t say anyone in particular has ruined a FC for me, but it does get a bit tiresome with so many people sharing the same FC’s and a little awkward. For me, I REALLY take in someone’s muse by the face they are using, so whenever I see two people using the same FC, it’s super awkward for me. I highly prefer in game FCs, especially if it’s a DA character since that’s what the CC is for ^^; But I can also understand if people feel that a real life actor captures their character more. I am not against them, but I am kind of indifferent and prefer to see in game faces--it just feels more homey and unique, ya know? Especially then seeing the same actors being used over and over again. 

✮ Have you managed to stay away from drama? 

I’m a really chill mod. I try and give everyone a go, everyone’s muses, and even if things don’t work out, then that’s okay! I certainly don’t base my friendships off if we can write our muses together. I’ve been here for 3+ years, and I’ve had VERY LITTLE issues with anyone, and I absolutely don’t hold grudges. Most people find me easy to talk to, after their initial I’m intimidated by you (since everyone, including me, is the same way :’D). I find that kindness really pays off. Plus, I’m here to have fun, not drama. I’d rather avoid it like the plague. That doesn’t mean I’ve not had my problems with people, but that hardly means the rest of tumblr needs to know about it. 

☠ What does someone have to do for an instant unfollow from you? 

Anything generally severely immoral. If you’re a racist, bigot, phobic whatever else, then I’m not going to follow you. Vague blogging is a seriously huge no go for me. I’ve been vague blogged about numerous amounts of times because I was not giving someone enough attention, because I RP with other people and have ships, and that shit is NOT on. I have been severely manipulated to a point where I was afraid to come on tumblr and be seen Rping with my other friends. I am not okay with vague blogging about me or other people, and tbh, it’s childish as hell and if you’re that kind of person, then you’re not a good person and I want nothing to do with you. 

It takes A LOT to piss this mod off, and I mean that, like A LOT, which is why I’ve been manipulated so many times, and I am slowly learning to pick up on these signs. But vague blogging is a serious no go. If anyone has a problem with me, then I would much prefer they have the balls to say it to my face than be passive aggressive. I seriously cannot stand passive aggressive behaviour with a passion. (Sorry, I am hugely salty over this lol)

eira. a ha hahaha haha (not as active as i should be but i do plan on changing that soon since there’s a gym nearby and going out in the sun during the summer time is something i don’t want to do)

eira. halloween, hands down, but i don’t mind christmas, but to me, any holiday that i don’t have to work on is my favorite lmao

eira. yes, actually. i almost always have to listen to music or something when i’m writing. what type of music depends on my mood on what i want to hear, though it won’t always reflect what i’m writing. for example, i might be listening to some calming chill music with no words and pretty music while writing a horrible, bloody scene. or i could be listening to some pretty heavy stuff with deep meaning behind the words and write out something cute and fluffy. lol if i want to write something long and want no distractions from lyrics, i put on music that hardly has any and put it on low. my type of music that i listen to is a very wide variety and never set to one thing. lol

see that is tricky because I’ve successfully described to the idea that there are no guilty pleasures, just pleasures, and I don’t feel ashamed or embarrassed over things I like anymore through some mental traning that’s worked out excellently. (it’s awesome.)

I thnk I’ll tell you that one thing I do is that often when I have my 15 minute break at work I’ll go outside, and go along this route hardly anyone else ever walks, and just SING AS LOUD AS I WANT at nothing in particular and dance around a bit and in general like to think I’m in a soulfully emotional and/or badass music video or something. it’s GREAT fun and allows me to relax before I go back in. I love music a lot and I like singing, and it’s probably the closest I come to a guilty pleasure right now since I’ll usually tone it down whenever I see people out on that route, cause, you know, a little awkward. 

sometimes I don’t though, if I’m in a good and confident mood, hahaha.

🟠 Orange - Do you see any similarities between you and your muse?

Yes and no? Like I enjoy tea and fancy things when I’m able to experience them but I’m definitely not a princess like Momo can be.

⚫ Black  - Do you think you and your muse would be friends in real life?

Yeah I could see us getting along and being acquaintences. My interests are very different from Momo’s so I don’t know we’d be super close of friends but definitely the ‘hey let’s meet up for lunch once a week and catch up’ kind of friend.

⚪ White - What drew you so much to your muse?

I actually put off Momo’s muse for several months beyond when I initially wanted to write her. The original plan was to make her blog at the same time of making Bakugou’s blog, but as I was preparing his blog first I realized that being in a brand new RPC with not one but two new muses and trying to get my footing in the fandom with both at the same time would be a little overwhelming, so I stuck with just Monika Bakugou for the first five or six months before I broke down and made her blog too.

🔴 Red - Do you have a dream AU you haven’t written in yet?

Not particularly? I’ve dabbled in fantasy AU before but not nearly as much as I’d like to. Anyone who wants to plot with me (besides Runa bc we already do lol) about that AU hmu -fingerguns-

🔵 Blue - Have you cosplayed as your muse?

Tbh you’ll likely never catch me cosplaying Momo unless I lose over half my body weight bc I would feel like an absolute whale cosplaying her as is. I know body positivity is a big thing now but I would 100% never be comfortable cosplaying her rn unless it was the hair down turtleneck outfit.

🟤 Brown - What is a headcannon you are particularly proud of?

Fleshing out Momo’s mom a little more. I love the random inspiration I got to use Bayonetta as the fc for her mom (we see Momo’s mom once in an end of chapter blip about Momo as a child so I don’t count that as an actual full view of her) and using a bit of Bayonetta’s character to create her mom’s pro hero persona.

🟣 Purple - Is there a fandom you are in that’s unrelated to this muse?

Nope, I’m strictly in BNHA rn. The only place you’ll possibly catching me RP’ing another fandom’s muse is on Discord rn and Alice and another old Voltron friend or two are basically the only people who can get a non BNHA muse from me rn.

🟢 Green - How far, if at all, do you think you have deviated from canon?

Not far at all. I take pride in my close to canon portrayals and doing what I feel is a good job staying true to their character but adding little flairs of my own when I get good headcanons. I think the biggest way one could say I’ve deviated from canon is since no class A related ships are canon yet, me pairing Momo up with anyone is technically canon divergent.

🟡 Yellow - What is the best motivation for you to write your muse?

The fact that Momo doesn’t really have hardly any people RP’ing her. I know of like one or two multi’s that have her in the muse roster, but to the best of my knowledge I’m the only kind of standalone blog for her and have been for awhile so I like being able to provide a side character for the RPC just to add some variety.
