Stop scrolling.

That's all. Okay to keep scrolling.

Suggestion
Speaker-units sometimes have to 'sneeze' to clear dust off their speaker-drivers. It startles the hell out of the other two factions. Titan Speaker sneezing is scary as hell!
TV-units have a lesser variant - their speakers are considerably smaller and weaker, so it's more like a polite cough.

What if speakers are like macaws, in that they pack-bond by screaming together? Bunch of speakers all orange-justicing and emitting an overlapping cacophony of HONK HONK HONK HONK HONK HONK

Silly idea
Speakerman asks you to squeeze them. When you do so, they play a sound effect of a squeaky toy.

Speaker faction headcanon
JM Barrie (Peter Pan author) used to habitually order Brussels sprouts for lunch even though he didn't eat them. When his friends asked why, he said that he could not resist ordering them because the sound of the words was just too nice and he loved saying them.
I reckon Speakermen choose their nicknames on the same principle. They have the most random-ass nicknames based on words they enjoy the sound of. Rotterdam. Benefaction. Ricochet. Altitude. Oleander. Deoxyribose.

My headcanon is that these 3 are the leaders of the hardware factions.
Tumblr media
Mainly because I love the trope of 'smol boss with giant henchmen'.
I know the fandom wiki says the titans are the leaders, but... they're clearly not? The titans are like sentient battleships who play a figurehead role.
Also (and this is just me; this is not supported by anything in canon) I see the hardware-heads as like eusocial insects, in that they're colonies led by queens. (Except the metaphor is imperfect because the hardware 'queens' don't lay the worker eggs. That would be silly.)

I wonder if the Speaker faction is going to go into semi-hiding for a bit. At the start of episode 73 part 1, Camera Matriarch tries to comfort Speaker Matriarch over the death of Assassin Speaker, but Speaker Matriarch pushes her away.
Titan Speaker has gone from being friendly + maybe a bit shy to being angry and impulsive. Is something similar going to happen with Speaker Matriarch?

Hello! Just wondering, are there large Camera mimics, Speaker mimics, and TV mimics? I just don't remember seeing them.
Also, are there Drone mimics and flashlight mimics?
Yes! There are large camera, speaker, and TV mimics. You can find their artwork under the #skibidi mimic tag. (Which I am longing to update with better portraits because I feel they are outdated due to the current mimic lore)
As for if there are drone mimics or flashlight mimics, that would have to be up to their respective creators.
I usually make mimics on the actual alliance members and some select fan factions from some series. I generally ask for permission before making a mimic alternative to people's original units to avoid any boundaries being pushed.
Some creators of fan units make their own mimics, to which I say, the more the merrier!

Petting headcanons 💕
Cameras (normal): 📹
💖 Preferred: Petting the headlamps (the torch slung below below the main head casing). They don't like having the front of it touched because you might dirty the glass/diodes; they just like having the sides of it petted and cupped in the hand.
🩷 Accepted: Petting the top of the head-casing, maybe the sides (if you're careful to avoid the converter box).
💢 Avoid touching: the glass of the casing, the converter box on the side of the head, and the cables at the back of the head.
Cameras (large): 🎥
💖 Preferred: Petting the matte box (the ridges surrounding the lens). Be careful to not touch the lens itself. It might be best to touch only the back surfaces of the matte box ridges.
🩷 Accepted: Gentle petting of the microphone stem.
💢 Avoid touching: the lens, the microphone head itself, the viewfinder and the film magazines.
Speakers (both sizes): 🔉
💖 Preferred: Gentle slow pats on the top of the head (least likely to interfere with their sound output).
🩷 Accepted: Petting the grille plate. Gently; don't push it hard enough to risk touching any components underneath.
💢 Avoid touching: the driver (the vibrating part that makes the sound) - not that you'd be able to while the grille is in place anyway. If they have a bass reflex port, don't put your fingers in it.
TVs (normal): 📺
💖 Preferred: Petting the screen gently. The TV has to trust you a lot before they'll let you do it, though. Otherwise, pets to the front corners of the head-casing are usually welcome if you're careful not to get too close to the screen. TVs with aerials are 50/50 on whether they like receiving pets to these; always check first.
🩷 Accepted: Pets to the sides and top of the head (not too near the back).
💢 Avoid touching: any dials, buttons, etc. and the ventilation holes at the back of the casing.
TVs (large): 📺
As above, plus:
💢 Avoid touching: the stems of the extra screens.
All hardware types:
💖 Preferred: hand-holding and gentle hand-rubs.
💢 Avoid touching: necks. They all have powerful swivel joints, so that's a pinch point for your fingers.

Even if the Cams side with the Skibidis against the Astros, they'll have a hard time selling that truce to the Speaker faction. Will we see an Alliance schism? (And would the TVs go with the Speakers or splinter off?)
...Would be interesting if we ended up with a scenario in which G-Toilet has to persuade the hardwares to re-unite for anyone non-Astro to have a chance of survival.
(And what scenario does Secret Agent want?? He's an enigma.)

We still haven't actually seen the Speaker Base, have we?
I'd like to think of it as a huge dance party with confetti cannons, disco balls and light-up dancefloors.

What's this?
Was trying to get a screenshot of an Alliance scientist for making a shitpost, and noticed these two in episode 50. (Couldn't get a non-blurry screenshot; the POV cam is running so there's motion blur.)

What are the grey cylinders on this cameraman?? Is the speakerman putting them on them??

Headcanons for the Speaker Base
I reckon that the Titan's hangar is bigger than the other two Titans' because it's lined with false walls with interchanging panels that can rotate to display different textured surfaces. They can range from anechoic (absorbs and quietens sound) to reverberant (reflects and amplifies sound).
youtube
Any large open spaces (such as the Titan hangar, and the outdoor grounds of the Base) have poles installed with paddles on top, to act as surfaces for echolocation. (I've seen photos of these installed at roadsides where trees have been removed, so bats have something solid to echolocate against. I haven't been able to find the picture again because whatever I put into search engines, they think I want poles for bat roosting boxes.)
There's got to be a room something like the Reverberant Acoustic Test Facility.
I've joked in the past that the Speaker Base needs to be full of mirror balls, nightclub lighting, confetti cannons etc. because the Speakers are the Party Time faction. I hope that's also true!
