Premise:

After travelling to Bambouche, rumors starts to spread about an Island appearing and dissapearing through the fog and clouds at the horizon. After Siffrin opens up about his home, the family decides to head towards the Island to find possible hints that could break the Wish, bringing back the memories and the colors as well.

And now that Siffrin created the first fracture, it might just be possible to save his home.

Did you know how I draw Loop actually somewhat represents where they are in their AUs timeline?

Loop

This indicates that Loop is still looking with Siffrin to find a way out of the loops by looking through AUs. Loop is still a very big pushover and depending on how far exactly they are in the timeline may not even be stern with Siffrin and the Change God yet, the first two people they actually grow a nerve for. They are quite powerful, being about level 86, but that gets much higher as time goes on, it can go over 99 because I like the chaos it brings. Loop doesn't use a dagger to fight, mainly relying on craft for that, because they want to find a weapon that calls to them thats different from Siffrin's. Loop likes watching and sometimes interacting with AUs. Loop actually has quite the soft spot for most other Loop's, they feel sad and worried for them because while Loop can relate, they also can't. Loop likes to pop in and chat with looping Siffrin's and others to keep them more sane if possible, they hate seeing anyone suffer like that and in general. Loop likes giving nicknames to others! They call Siffrin Hoshikuzu or Kuzu, and call the Change God Kai. Loop may or may have not became friends with their AUs Pétronille in secret.

Loop?

This indicates that Loop and Siffrin have found the way out of the Loops but has to deal with a new problem. Loop doesn't get to spend as much time with Siffrin anymore so they tend to be visiting AU almost all the time now. While they would love to tell every AUs looping person (usually Siffrin) how to leave the Loops, the Change God doesn't let them most of the time because of "keeping balance" and all that which is a lie for the most part. Loop isn't as much as a pushover before but still is a pushover. Its very rare to see Loop being angry or stern or anything like that so you know its something serious when it happens. Loop found @kyri45's isat sky cotl AU and manged to make their green cap along with finding the yellow scarf, they visit this AU the most, they also find memories that the Siffrin here may not have found. They also found this fluffy white... cape? coat? whatever you call it and gave it to their Siffrin. Loop feels like they aren't really 'Loop' anymore and definitely not 'Siffrin', they still use the name Loop because they don't know what else to call them self for now. Loop gets a lot of new hobbies they enjoy, like gardening, drawing, cooking, flying, and clothes designing. Loop still does wood carving, but not as much as before. While Siffrin and almost all their family started making their way to Bambouche, Loop would visit Pétronille until Siffrin and everyone arrived. Loop calls Pétronille Isamu and Pétronille calls Loop Butterfly. The Change God tends to hang out with Loop more because they find them so interesting and because they worry for them. Loop somehow manged enter different fandoms at some point (Kirby, OneShot, chicory: a colorful tale, and maybe others).

Luma

This indicates that Luma has become their own person, they spend most of their time in a different AU with Bonnie. Luma can turn into their star form whenever they please but prefers to stay in their human form. Luma hangs out in an AU where everything is basically the same as canon, well if you don't included that Luma's there. Luma joins Bonnie while they were running away from the curse, when Siffrin finds Bonnie they had been separated when a strangely strong sadness got a sneak attack on Luma. Luma has nicknames for everyone here, Siffrin is called Akari, Isabeau is called Haru, Mirabelle is called Sakura, Odile is called Kei, and Bonnie is called Aiko. Bonnie calls Luma Lulu, everyone else calls them Luma. Luma tends to not fight and stay in the back with Bonnie, this is because they don't really like showing their true power, but they will fight if they think someone is in true danger, like Bonnie. They fight with different kind of firework wand from sky cotl and craft of course. Luma shows Bonnie the multiverse while they were traveling before meeting the others and Bonnie promises to not tell anyone about it without permission. Luma is the only one that actually remembers stuff through the loops, they really want to tell Siffrin about how they just need to tell the others they want to stay with them and they want to comfort Loop but can't... and it sucks. No one can see the colors of Luma's cape and Bonnie's scarf until Siffrin turns giant, its not really talked about until after Siffrin goes back to normal. Luma and Siffrin interact more, so yay!

The entire plot for the CotL!AU has grown to sizes that make it impossible to enjoy reading it for anyone, myself included, so I will post it in parts, interspersed with the designs for the characters.

I. Zelda + Setting the stage

Zelda

I decided to deviate a lot from the canon feathered creatures since I wanted a sort of dignified creature vibe similar to the statue of the goddess from SS, and the canon ones only really give pitiful critter to me. The colors orient themselves by my Zelda design for the manga that I made some time ago, and to the bottom right is her body without the feathers. I like to think she towers over everything else, like solid 3,5 meters.

Setting the stage

The first ones to reign over the land were the First Gods, known for their crafting of weapons, tools and crowns with the ability to raise any being to divinity. Sometimes, they would distribute those same masterpieces to individuals to their liking, other times they would flaunt them before the mortals. Two of them were said to be called Hylia and Demise, among other things.

Under these First Gods, feathered creatures without name for their kind or envy for their masters‘ godhood were hatched as servants, as was Zelda to Hylia. To fulfill her role, the feathered one learned to create traps and mechanisms protecting certain possessions; a task growing in relevance with the rise of artificial gods, their followers in tow.

One day, the First Gods found themselves on a decline without cause. Some of them vanished, but a few of them must have found death, as, for example, a sky whale’s skeletons can still be found in the land today.

Without superiors to them, a war for power broke out between the younger gods and their religions. Zelda chose to continue her former duty as keeper of divine tools and crowns and built a deadly labyrinth in the middle of the Lost Woods, protected by mechanical servants of her own as well as secrecy and the Woods’ own reputation. She herself lived at the entrance of the Woods, offering prophecies and rest to unknowing visitors.

Land is ruled by many gods owning crowns that raise their powers to divine level and give them dominion over certain things; crowns were made and granted by First Gods

Feathered creatures hatch under First Gods and keep their tools; never seek out divine power by nature

Descent of „abundance of gods“ and disappearance of First Gods; five siblings receive crowns, found their own cult/religion called the Old Faith and kill other gods/have them renounce their power

Four of the siblings grant their followers the opposite/protection from their domain? (p.e. god of pestilence grants health, god of chaos grants safety)

Fifth, Narinder, is god of death and wants the same flexibility to grant life

Siblings grow afraid of his power and rebel against him

In ensuing struggle Narinder harms them permanently in varying ways referencing „See no evil,…“, but is still sealed away by the four, with four chains binding him into another realm; siblings henceforth known as bishops

Prophecy that a lamb shall free Narinder; bishops start hunting sheep and sacrificing them

Last lamb is killed, makes deal with Narinder in death to kill bishops and found cult in their name, proceeds to agree, receive Narinder‘s red crown and fulfill deal

Lamb gains more power, faces Narinder as end boss, has the choice to kill or spare and indoctrinate him

After end boss, can fight the undead remains of the bishops to free them from said undead state and indoctrinate them

Im having thoughts abt Worldbuilding and all the time i fall in love more and more abt it—

Crafting a world that feels alive is so hard but so charming and rewarding at the same time

As a fan of Tolkien, Star Wars, Zelda and DND in general i feel like if im writing a story i want to reward my readers with a world they can toy with. With a world they can seek more info and actually find it. A world they can create a character, maybe even a whole narrative, using the world's rules and details and information. Cuz it makes it feel more alive when the audience sed that world and see the possibilities right?

Thats a reason MMORPGs are so appealing to me. Genshin and Sky COTL are the biggest examples for me, cuz you can live in that world as a character and explore it as you wish! World of Warcraft is a big example too, but i can point out others like Maplestory and Trove!

Baldur's Gate, Elden Ring, BOTW & TOTK, Red Dead II, Rain World, etc, really shows a big example of a good and alive worldbuilding without it being a mmorpg, you LIVE in that world

RPG games work that well when well made! Hell, Undertale and Final Fantasy always intice the imaginary! Sandboxy games as well, the better the worldbuilding the more you crave to explore it! (Good job Minecraft)

I can even bring examples from anime! Frieren, One Piece, Witch Hat Atelier, Boku No Hero, Ghibli movies etc! It invites you in, it wants your attention and with a rich worldbuilding, simple or complex, you want to be part of it and create things!

And thats a reason that when i craft a world, i want to give it the most details i can. How is the flora & fauna of the world, politics, the environment, religion, the magic system, different people and cultures, the different species, the forces of good, evil and neutral, architecture, languages, the art!

Cuz i want people to toy with it, do their own thing inside of it! I want to look at the community and see personas and ocs and self inserts! I want to see aus and lore expansions! Especially original narratives!

If i ever make a game, it might be a MMO im not sorry im saying that. Or just a vast action-RPG! Who knows—

I cant wait to create worlds and make people fall in love with it— i cant wait

So my headcanon is that Sif breathes the way he does in the game because it’s both the meditation he used to do with the others sky kids when younger (as it was something taught very early to connect with the elders and to activate certain mechanisms. ) and also because it’s part of many wish craft rituals.

Next up they’ll finally meet the first elder!
