Well, to our fan's delight, Skyfire has returned to the world of suffering!

This is a very interesting situation. Apparently, the Cybertronians in this comic book series can survive with most of the spark damaged or gone. Or in this case, some kind of core has been preserved, but there is not enough additional energy for the Skyfire to operate with his body or receive information from some sensors, in this case visual. I wonder how much of him is left in principle. He clearly remembers his name and recognizes voices, can conduct a dialogue, has an understanding of the situation and reacts emotionally to his condition. But it's still a question of how much of his personality and memory has been preserved.

The only thing I'm afraid of is that he didn't come back for long. How do these stories usually unfold? Either the Autobots will find a way to bring him back to normal, or he will ask them to end his life so that he stops suffering. Which brings us back to the idea that at some point, they'll use whatever's left of him as material for someone else. Maybe it will be played out as a self-sacrifice of the already doomed for something more useful.

More of the funny details.

Well, the authors decided to play with the old joke that the Autobots saved Skyfire in the cartoon just so that he would be their taxi. Here it is practically discussed directly.

For some reason, the authors are embarrassed to make Skyfire huge, as he was in the cartoon, when he could transport half of the Autobots inside himself. Here they attached some kind of container to him, which is more reminiscent of a Sky Lynx.

Ngl I drew them side by side as a random thing, but... Carly being someone who unwillingly lost everything and is untrusting of people, while Baroness willingly choosing the life she has untrusting and not trustworthy but is the cool badass Carly wants to be? Somethings there, I think.

Void Rivals Thoughts:

Alien set up has Star Trek vibes which is fun

A little worried it’ll be cynical and gritty based on what I’ve heard about invincible and the walking dead but I’m holding out hope

The TF cameo is fun, but short. Honestly didn’t mind though, the new characters are charming so far

I don’t know this letterer, but I’m enjoying the lettering!! The sound effects are very fun

I HATE the way the Decepticons in Skybound are written to talk like... not because they are just one note evil this time around no....it's because the dialogue sooo stiff and feels awkward to read
