So I've been reading those old Skylanders novels recently...

Not only are they really fun reads, but they managed to get me intrigued with the idea of assembling a specific team of Skylanders for different types of missions.

So anyway, here's Team Charm, Portal Master Peayce's grand heist team. (Think Ocean's Eleven, but with Skylanders!)

Their mission?

Infiltrate Count Moneybone's Party Manor in the Land of the Undead and retrieve a forbidden ancient artifact hidden within it's walls, before the villainous Nightshade can get to it first.

Just in the nick of time! I'm done with this weeks Skytober 2024 Catch Up! My wrist is hurting and my brain is a bit fried! So I'll make this quick!

Prompt 9 "Earth": Flashwing! Because I couldn't draw my actual favorite earth elemental, Bash, so I went with my second favorite. Gave her extra crystals on her shoulders and cheeks for that extra shine~

Prompt 10 "Color Variant": Nitro Kript King! Because this one of the color variants actually own! Nothing really has changed cuz I couldn't think of any changes. Sorry Nitro KK! :/

Prompt 11 "Species": Gillmen! Because I love the silly little fish people, and I'm still pissed that we never got to hear their horrible singing voices. LIKE COME ON!! I WANNA KNOW HOW BAD IT ACTUALLY IS WITH MY OWN TWO EARS!! DONT BAIT ME LIKE THIS TOYS FOR BOB!! PLEASE!! I didn't know what exactly to draw for this prompt, so I did a little kiddy doodle that would definitely be on the fridge.

Prompt 12 "Air": Blades! Because I wish I had him! I want the scottish knight dragon! GIVE ME! The only change I gave to Blades was a bit of dark blue eyeliner, cuz he looks like the type of guy that would put on eyeliner.

Prompt 13 "Swap Force": Night Shift! Another Skylander I wish I had! Night Shift is so cool, maaaaan. He's just a boxing vampire grandpa. Gave him golden ear piercing on one of his ears cuz it makes him look more badass!

Prompt 14 "Mini/Sidekick": Spry! The only one I own along with two Mini Jinis. Gave this little guy paw pads and little rosie cheeks cuz all minis deserve rosie cheeks! THEY ARE SO CUTE SKJDKFJFKF!!

Prompt 15 "Magic": Star Strike and Skylander Magolor! BECAUSE YOU KNOW I HAD TO INVOLVE MY SILLY AU INTO THIS SHIT EVENTUALLY!!! Magolor cannot escape my brain nor this blog. In this AU Magolor and Star Strike have a sibling dynamic going on between them, and they are both from the same element (until the time skip happens), so I just knew I had to make this prompt special just for them! And just like with Enigma, I also had a full redesign for Star Strike, so I used that design for this prompt!

Hope y'all enjoy all this! I'm gonna go take some ibuprofen for my wrist!

Okay. Reminder this is part of my AU and therefore is canon-divergent. Also if anyone sees this, what are your thoughts on Chop Chop having more ivory-coloured bones? I like it but I'm curious.

One thing that might suprise you is that Portamaster Peayce isn't usually much of a talker.

On the regular, she can be described as the sweet and silent type.

However, being around Kaos seems to bring out a more "active" side of the Portalmaster. She'll crack jokes, make minor mischief, and even (on occasion) mock-flirt with Kaos just to mess with his head.

Granted, it works everytime, but it's always a shock for Peayce's Skylanders to see their still and tranquil leader act so 'out-of-character'. Some have even started rumors that the Dark Portalmaster may have somehow bewitched Peayce into favoring him, resulting in her personality change.

(Thankfully, the rumours are not true. -but, unfortunately, that doesn't stop them from spreading...)

who would you have chosen for trap team's 3 missing reposes [i feel like the undead one should be fright rider since he's the one giants core that never got a repose]

I agree with Fright rider 100%

For Earth I'll pick Flashwing, because while she did get a Lightcore repose in Swapforce, she and Rider are still both the only two Giants characters without wow-pows.

And for Tech... I think I'd pick Wind-up. He's really really cool as a second Swapforce character.

I'd actually pick quite a few reposes for Trap team... But the game is already pretty gimmicky in terms of spending. I'd have to draw out my poster layouts to explain it. I like adding onto what's already canon rather than replacing things (with one exception)
