You stared at the neatly wrapped-up bundle on your bed in confusion. You had gotten home before Din, but somehow, he had left something there for you. Setting down the knapsack of supplies at your side, you stepped forward and gingerly unwrapped the bundle.

What you found was sleepwear made of the softest material you had ever felt in the galaxy, a matching pair that instantly brought a smile to your lips. It, of course, had been a thing you had mentioned only in passing, mostly as a reminder to yourself to actually go and get some.

Instead, Din did it for you, and with the most comfort and luxury possible.

You shook your head and wasted no time putting it on. It wouldn't be long before Din and Grogu were back, and you intended on showing Din just how meaningful this gesture was.

You were still putting supplies away when you heard the ship land. You smiled and ran around the cabin to light all the candles you had set out, trying to make your home look as cozy as you truly felt wearing Din's gift. You finished just in time for Din and Grogu to see, with the front door sliding open as soon as you lit the last candle.

"Hey." Din's voice was so soft you nearly missed it as he stepped inside. Grogu, of course, was sound asleep in his father's arm. "You got it."

You gave yourself a once-over and nodded. "I did." Your hands clasped together as you held them against your chest. "Thank you, Din. Really. This means a lot." You did a small spin for him. "And they're very comfortable."

Din's visor gave you a similar once-over as he nodded. "Good." He stepped closer and reached a hand towards you, though he stopped, silently asking for permission. You nodded and let him run the fabric between his gloved fingers. "I was told it was the highest quality available."

You wrinkled your brow at him. "That must've cost a fortune."

"Trust me." There was a smile in Din's modulated voice as his fingers instead held your chin. "It was priceless."

You beamed at him, taking a hold of his wrist and pulling the fabric of his glove up high enough to kiss the skin underneath it. "Well, if you get the little one to bed quick enough, you can test the material out for yourself."

Din tilted his helmet at that. "Tempting." He huffed and took a step away. "I'll be on my way, then."

You laughed and shook your head. "I'd expect nothing less."
