Three in the morning and here he was, again. Andrej was just glad that Jen didn’t mind it when he rocked up at her apartment at ridiculous times in the morning because god he always felt guilty every time, especially when he felt slightly drunk the way he did right now. He hesitated for a moment before knocking at the door and waiting, pushing his fingers through his hair as he tried his best to look somewhat put together, even though that was the exact opposite of what he was. When the door open, Andrej saluted and then gave Jen and stupid grin. “Oh hey, fancy seeing you here. I guess I was just passing by in the neighbourhood and figured it would be a great opportunity to pop by and see my favourite person.” For a moment, he did jazz hands then finally stopped to chew at the inside of his lip before he let out a slow sigh. “Sorry, I’ve been drinking again. Can we hang?”

S.G. Goodman Is Thankful in Williamsburg

S.G. Goodman – Music Hall of Williamsburg – November 3, 2023

“I’m S.G. Goodman, thank you so much for being here!” I think she must have said that after every single song she played at Music Hall of Williamsburg on Friday night, a mix of dry wit and genuine appreciation. The show was a delightfully incongruous confluence of her off-key banter, delicate poetic lyricism, and cosmic vibrations of guitar and pedal steel. Things began with those guitars in an ambient swell, dramatically building to feedback that dissolved into the opening song, “The Way I Talk,” off Goodman’s debut album, Old Time Feeling. 

As the set progressed, her drawling voice took center stage. The pairing of “If You Were Someone I Loved” and “You Were Someone I Loved” crackled with slide guitar until melting into Goodman howling into the room, the audience silent in admiration. The title track on last year’s Teeth Marks was another highlight, emotional lyrics meeting deft instrumentation. In between songs, she waxed philosophic at length on naming her tour after “Patron Saint of Dollar Stores” and other topics.

Her admiration for outlaw country shone through on the cover of Waylon Jennings’ “Waymore’s Blues,” which included a friendly “competition” with back-and-forth solos from pedal steel player Luke Schneider and guitarist Mark Sloan. After an appropriately solo take on “Solitaire,” Goodman closed the set with the love song “Space and Time,” a cushion of bass and drums and a glittering of guitars to finish things. The show felt complete, but no one in the room was complaining when they all returned for an encore, the rollicking “Work Until I Die,” Goodman in full West Kentucky growl until leaving her band onstage in an extended rock-out, her final “Thank you so much for being here.” —A. You could cut Klaus’s storyline and the stupid subway storyline and even though I like Jean and gene, you could probably cut them out replace them with Abigail or Sy or whatever and given Abigail a more time to be whatever the hell she was.

Like they only had 6 episodes but they waste so much time on nothing. The Lila/Five story, what does it accomplish an excuse for Diego and five to have beef, to make Lila less fun. It’s not even funny, the Klaus storyline isn’t funny, Jean and Gene are chill but they do very little that couldn’t have been cut for time.

This season just felt so mismanaged, they gave the wrong focus to the wrong things. Viktor and Reggie’s scenes together could be interesting, but no, Reggie still took the shot and Abigail is treating it as if he’s changed in anyway, oh he took too long to shoot that makes him less of an ass. No. NO.

What was the Ben/Jennifer thing even about. As I see it it wouldn’t of mattered which umbrella touched her because it leads to the same place. Why is she in a squid, they never tell us, (it’s because it symbolizes Ben and Jen’s connection) bullshit. How was the Durango even produced, how’d it get in a squid, is she the squid’s child, was she even born in ‘89. Also they mangled Sparrow Ben. Yes he’s an ass, but he’s an ass that really craves family and is too proud to say. He got drunk about it.

They forgot about Umbrella Ben in Korea, was Sloane’s actress just busy because where is she. Why is Luthor a monkey. Why is Klaus acting high when we never see him using. And why was the only ending they could think of group suicide. The Durango has to consume all the marigold, what does Durango even do, huh?

It was originally built in 1898 for Oliver Gould Jennings in the French Beaux-Arts style. It currently belongs to Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, the (now former) Emir of Qatar, who purchased the mansion and the nearby Henry T. Sloane House around 2004.

So here's my thing, I don't hate the ending but I think the ending wrap-up was not done well (well that's not totally true I do somewhat hate it but not because they all...ya know). I hate it because season 4 makes zero sense connected to S1 and 2.

First things first, if Reggie killed Ben and Jen in the UA timeline why not just kill them in this one? Even if you argue that his wife stopped him, he kept doing things against her wishes anyway?? So why stop there?

Two: If there needed to be no more marigolds why didn't they go find the other children? Did Reggie eliminate all of the children when he reset the world? Why would Sloane not be there? Ben was there and I am not buying the ideology because there's a sparrow and umbrella Ben. That doesn't make sense. Sloane and the Sparrows still exist even if they never became the Sparrow Academy. Or do they not exist in this timeline? WHat happened to the marigold in the jar? It wasn't finished?

Three: UA Ben died during that mission and the siblings had their minds wiped of remembering what happened. Now naturally Ben wouldn't have known their Dad killed him but he was with Klaus for years. How did he never say, "Hey remember when I died saving that little girl in the weapon of mass destruction"? Then Klaus could've been like huhhh? Because even in his most high states Klaus still helped when needed to.

Four: Why did seasons one and two emphasize Viktor being the constant end of the world so much if in reality that didn't matter in the end?

Five: What was the point of creating any of the academies if there will always be 30+ other children who could have come in contact with Jennifer?

Six: Was Five jumping through time or timelines? In earlier seasons we are told he's jumping through time. But this season I would assume he was jumping timelines because when he and Lila are in the subway it takes them to his future after the apocalypse.

Heathers Producer Remembers Young Shannen Doherty as a 'Spitfire' on Set: 'A Little Bulldozer' (Exclusive)

"She had some of the best lines in the movie, and she did such a great job," producer Denise Di Novi tells PEOPLE of Doherty, who died on July 13 at age 53

Shannen Doherty made quite the impression on Heathers producer Denise Di Novi.

In a conversation with PEOPLE ahead of her first-ever art exhibition, Di Novi recalls how the late Doherty was "a budding broadcast TV star" when she came in to do a reading for Heathers, the 1989 teen cult classic in which she famously played Heather Duke.

"I don't think she quite knew what she was getting into," says the filmmaker, 68, noting that the movie featured "such an odd script, especially for the time" — especially compared to projects Doherty had done up until that point like Little House on the Prairie.

But that didn't last long. As Di Novi explains, "Then she got so into it ... she was smart as a whip and had been acting a lot, and she just really got into that very specific dialogue."

"She had some of the best lines in the movie, and she did such a great job," Di Novi continues. "She's just this little, tiny spitfire."

For the painter and producer, Doherty, who died at age 53 on July 13, was one of a group of "a few people that are just born with a certain spirit," and embodied it from an early age.

"They don't have to mature into it — they just kind of have that, whatever it is," Di Novi adds. "She had so much presence for such a tiny person. ... And even at 15 years old, she just came in and was like a little bulldozer."

Doherty's longtime publicist Leslie Sloane confirmed the Beverly Hills, 90210 star's death in an exclusive statement to PEOPLE on July 14.

"It is with a heavy heart that I confirm the passing of actress Shannen Doherty," she said. "On Saturday, July 13, she lost her battle with cancer after many years of fighting the disease."

Two days after Doherty's death, her Heathers costar Lisanne Falk shared a tribute on social media that included clever references to the film.

"If her portrayal of Heather Duke were to serve as her epitaph, I, for one, as the last remaining Heather would think it more than sufficient," wrote Falk, 59. "Certainly no one else could have landed the line: ‘Veronica, why are you pulling my dick?’ like Shannen did."

She also referenced the death of her and Doherty's costar Kim Walker at age 32 back in 2001, writing, "Tragically, Heather Chandler never had the chance to reflect, and now Heather Duke was interrupted just as she was clearing her throat."

"If it is Heather McNamara’s fate to have the last word for the Heathers, then let it be this: It’s been an honor to occupy our own little patch of the zeitgeist, together as one, out here on the fringe, where all the cool kids hang, a cult classic," Falk continued.

"Thank you, Heather. And Heather. ❤️💚💛," she added, using heart emojis in the signature colors of her, Walker and Doherty's croquet-loving characters. "May flights of angels sing thee to thy rest, Shannen. You always had the balls, didn’t you? For better or worse, no more pulling your dick."

So many unanswered questions in TUA 4

1. Sloane???

2. Jennifer? What was with her?She was barely developed beyond being a plot device.

3. Why was she in a squid? Does she remember it? Why did she say 'The Cleanse' after getting out of it?

4. Klaus being useless. My fav character being underutilized especially after the character arc in the previous season.

5. Luther seemingly not missing his wife at all. I know its been six years but still...after the timline travelling subway reveal I thought he might try to find her.

6. Lila and Five. I get that they were stuck for seven years but Five would not do that to his brother. Why did they have to be stuck so long in the first place? What purpose did it serve other than that cursed romance?

7. The whole plot of S3 is the Kugelblitz which was caused by the Umbrellas due to the Grandfather paradox. Won't Lila and Diego's kids and Claire create the same problem in the original timeline?

This is pretty long but there's still so much more.

This season feels unreal and I mean that in a derogatory way.
