Come già anticipato con la pubblicazione della compilation No need to fear con i Manicburg si aggiunge un ulteriore, eccitante tassello al mosaico delle nostre collaborazioni. Presto ci saranno importanti aggiornamenti sulla pubblicazione del primo album ufficiale del progetto Newyorkese capitanato da Ray Lustig e Luigi Porto, per il quale abbiamo registrato le linee di basso di due brani, Silken Pavillion e One for you, one for me (quest'ultima registrata e co-prodotta nel nostro studio).

As already anticipated with the publication of the compilation No need to fear a further, exciting piece is added to the mosaic of our collaborations. Soon there will be important updates about the publication of the first official album by Manicburg, the New York project led by Ray Lustig and Luigi Porto, for which we recorded the bass lines of two songs, Silken Pavillion and One for you, one for me (this one recorded and co-produced at SlowFi Recording studio).

FINALLY got around to power washing our patio. 💦 🧱 ⠀ We were lucky to purchase a home with a nice patio already laid. But it’s always been grubby (at best). ⠀ With social distancing and the blessedly warming weather of Minnesota, I really wanted to make the most of our outdoor space. ⠀ So, I borrowed a power washer (free) and finally did the deed, figuring it would be a great low-cost way to improve our surroundings. ⠀ The caked-on grime and lichen smelled like swamp ass. And by the end I started looking like Swamp Thing 🧟‍♂️ but DAMN! 🎉Sunday Update!! 🎉 * This week @BeingAMonkey asked me if it was alright with me that he sampled my slowfi version of "All My Loving" in a song, and that I'd be a featured artist on the track. Of course I said yes (that's just so awesome after all!!!) and now I can't wait to hear it upon release!!! 😁 I've heard a brief sneak peak of it, and the hook will really make it stick to your brain for the rest of the week 🙊 * On Friday my instrumental guitar version of "Auld Lang Syne" was released!!! 😁 and already when I awoke on Friday morning had it made it into the double digits in streams (which might've been a first for me), and I've had soooo much amazing feedback from all of you on it, so thank you SO MUCH for listening and I'm SO happy you liked it!!!! 😁🥰 I was really satisfied with it myself, so it's just the best feeling ever when others like it as well 😍❤️ * And I think that might be it for this week's update! New blinds this weekend!! (Before and after shots) 💯 ⠀ A previous owner made an admirable attempt at DIYing their own shade out of a busted blind. We were not fans. Sometimes, I hate to say it, but it’s better to NOT do something yourself. ⠀ This weekend, we finally got our new blinds and installed them! ⠀ If you can do something well, do it yourself. If you can learn something new, learn it. If you can’t do either, be honest with yourself and pay for it. Just be smart about it. We waited for a significant discount, chose carefully, and installed these awesome wood blinds (easily) by ourselves. Apple 發表會後悄悄註冊了新商標，Slofie 或許會成為大家朗朗上口的單字？

還記得現在人人熟悉的「自拍 Selfie」，在幾年前是個沒人知道意思的單字嗎？當時因為智慧型手機出現，社群軟體開始流行，自拍一詞的使用度大增，因而在 2013 年被納入了牛津字典，甚至還當選了風雲單字。如今，隨著 iPhone 11 的問世，有觀察家指出「Slofie」或許也將帶起另一波趨勢？

繼 Apple 新品發表會登場之後，話題持續延燒中，無論是 Mid-night Green、三顆鏡頭、Retina XDR 顯示器… 等等，幾個特點都讓果粉在網上討論不已，還有這次前鏡頭主打的「慢動作拍攝」，一秒鐘可以拍攝 120 幀數的功能，增添了使用者在自拍時不同的樂趣，蘋果更為此註冊了「Slofie」商標，為的便是確保其他競爭手機廠牌、Apps 不能利用同個單字宣傳任何相似慢動作自拍的功能。
