explain to me why exactly The Smurfs Dance Party for the Nintendo Wii (2011) didn't include the Panic! at the Disco banger featured in the original movie's credits.

instead they gave us a smurf themed cover of Who Let the Dogs Out? and an original song from Katy Perry, only because she voiced Smurfette in the film.

Rumpelstiltskin (Shrek 4) x Belle (BATB/RBTI): This ship came to me about two years ago because I thought it was funny that they could be Once Upon a Time's Rumbelle but on crack. Plus, Rumpy needs someone to love and for someone to love him back. 🥺

Merida DunBroch (Brave 2012) x Gutsy Smurf (Smurfs 2011): I've always had this funny idea of what if the archery tournament went differently, and Merida is instructed to shoot an arrow into the sky, and whoever Lord's son (or crest) the arrow landed closest to would be her future husband. But Merida, taking fate into her own hands, found a loophole and shot the arrow far away from the designated area and into the woods. So the arrow landed closest to Gutsy, and despite Merida's reluctance, she's now engaged to marry him. I based my story idea on the European fairy tale "The Frog Prince" and the Russian fairytale "The Frog Princess." (I might write a fanfic about it one day.)

Rapunzel (Tangled) x Big Jack Horner (PIBTLW): I first based their relationship on the fact that Jack collects magical artifacts and objects from various fairytales, fables, and myths. So maybe he tried to collect Rapunzel's magic hair but got a frying pan to the face and fell in love with her instead. He may be an irredeemable monster who's “dead inside,” but something about Rapunzel makes him soft and fluttery. Plus, the woman can bake a mean pie~

Casting Neil Patrick Harris as the Toymaker is still really bonkers to me. Russell T decided to take Mister Hollywood Man who appeared in such famous movies as The Smurfs (2011) and put him in a series of British sci-fi specials about an alien meeting up with an old mate after mind-wiping her years ago.

You're the only Gargamel simp I know, so I must ask this: What do you think of Cedric from Sofia the First? Is there a possible overlap between the Cedric Simps and the Gargamel Simps, since they are both magical sorcerers that are antagonists at some point in their stories?

Plus, I just think he's neat. I may not be a Gargamel Simp, but I can totally see the interest in magical antagonists.

oh lord, am i really??? well, clearly everyone here needs to go watch The Smurfs 2011 and get some better taste 🤭💖 (kidding i know i'm not normal-) YESSSS ohhh i know of quite a few Cedric fans!!!! and who can blame them? he's a very handsome pathetic husband 🙈💖 i'd say that Cedric is the layman's Gargamel...a socially acceptable blorbo who sits at one end of the scale, with 'depressed' at his end and 'manic' at Gargamel's 😂💖 certainly Cedric is pretty and extremely fun to watch - an excellent prospective f/o indeed 😉 i would love to see he and Garagmel interact honestly...am i right in understanding Cedric's goal is to steal Sofia's magic? then they're both powerful, villainous magic users who want to rob small and sweet people of their magical abilities (and they're a bit jealous too) 🙈
