So it's kinda like a setting of a stressed out detective, their job overtaking their the rest of their life(maybe they just went through a divorce or smth). They're on edge.

When one evening someone comes, another basket case they assume. With outeven looking up they start to say "I don't accept walk ins, doll."

But they nearly drop the cigarette that's balancing on their loose lips when they glance up the person standing by the door frame. There is just something /different/ about this one. It's like the detective is under a trance when the person speaks about what is needed.

It's really a simple solution, one the detective could have done with one letter or tip to the officers.

But they prolong it, making it a case. Because they want to see this person again, and again.

They get to know one and other better as the days progeess, the detective ofc being more secreative of their life but that just more alluring to the client.

Then an odd night happens, this special client just won't leave the detective's mind, they've by now memorized this person. They try to sleep but every time they close their eyes all the see is more than inappropriate visuals of the two.

The client is in their home, a late night listening to the crackling radio. They hear nearly desperate, yet firm  sounding knocks at their door. They tug on their housecoat before opening the door.

"Detective?"

It's a pleasant surprise, maybe even a wanted surprise.

Their doe eyes looking curiously at them drive the detective over the edge. The detective goes in for a kiss, lips near effortlessly pressing together.

The client can't help but melt into the kiss, feeling the detective's lips leaving theirs and trailing down their jaw, gentle nips sending shivers of anticipation down the client's spine.

"God. I've wanted you ever since you stepped into my office." Is what the detective gets out between gasp for breaths.

"As did I, detective. That's why I went to you." Admitting what has been obvious since the begining. The client had known the detective for months now and needed, yeanrd for a reason to come into contact with the detective.

Their is a deep, throaty laugh bubbling from the detective from the confession. They look into the client's eyes, their soft gaze aginst the theirs. Wordlessly they speak, the detective hooking their arms around the client's waist as the client nods, wrapping their hands around their neck.

Then they back the client onto the kitchen table. The client wraps their legs around the detective's waist, pulling them closer in until they're mear inches away from one and other; sharing the same, warm, sensual breaths.

Trench coats and night coats slip off with ease. The detective letting the client unbotton their wrinkled dress shirt,the detective runs teasingly light touches over the client's bare shoulders before they share an intiament embrace again.
