i saw ur request being open, thank u for taking time & effort out of your day to write for me & everyone, very appreciated btw 🥺. could you write a drabble with kuroo & ushijima where y/n is an artist & they made themselves custommade shoes (i hope yk what i mean) with lil peep or melanie martinez as a design, bc they are their fav singer & like they come to his practise with the shoes on & the team was impressed: proud boys. y/n later decided to make him aswell a pair in his aesthetic design

um number 1 hypeman bf Kuroo!!!

he is going to draw attention to any and all of your work whether it be your newest painting or customised shoes or your cute doodles and sketches in notebooks - literally anything you do is amazing to him

he also loves watching you work, like once he was studying and you were working on a pair of shoes and he just couldn't draw omg see what I did there his eyes away from you

you just looked so concentrated and adorable to him, like every move of your hand was calculated

fully blushed and realised he was in love with you ahem but anYWAY-

he'd slip you into as many conversations as possible when he's with the team

just because he wants to show off but also not annoy anyone to the point where he can't talk about you anymore because??? that'd be so difficult??

so when you actually get introduced to them they all immediately zero in on the customised parts of your outfit

after all the talk from Kuroo they knew what to expect but weren't ready for just how cool each piece looked

Kenma was actually paying attention and made a mental note to ask Kuroo if you could design a skin for his switch later on dhfkjshf

anyway receiving all that praise made you all fuzzy and happy and actually made inspiration strike

one day you head home whilst Kuroo was in practice and some rough sketches hidden away in your notebook

you customise a black pair of converse looking high tops in black and red, adding the number 1 from his jersey as a subtle homage to his volleyball career

"Hey Tetsu, I have a surprise for you~" you said, suddenly feeling slightly shy. I mean, what if it wasn't good enough and he didn't like them. Before you could doubt yourself anymore though, the boy looked up from his phone with a smile.

"What is it y/n?" you inhale slightly, psyching yourself up as you grab the shoebox from under your bed before setting it out in front of him. His eyes landed on the box, immediately lighting up when he realised what's inside.

"You didn't?!" he exclaimed, the childlike giddiness was infectious as you grinned back at him urging him to open the box.

He carefully lifted the flaps and moved the paper out of the way before gasping and inspecting the shoes.

"They're so cool!" he holds the shoe up to the light, admiring the intricate colours and lines "I'll probably wear these everyday- wait?" His eyes zero in on the back of the shoe, where his jersey number was "Is that for..." You nodded sheepishly, playing with your fingers in your lap.

Without any warning you were lifted by strong arms and hugged into body. You were being manhandled in the tight grip of your boyfriend but his body was warm and you could hear the smile in his voice.

"You never fail to amaze me y/n" He squeezed you slightly as if to confirm his words.

"I'm glad you like them Tetsu" the words come out muffled, as you speak into his chest. 

is proud of you in his very silent way you know?

if you're ever planning an outfit he'll somehow find a way to make it so you're wearing a customised piece because he loves seeing other people acknowledging your talent

and even if he's seen the piece so many times before he'll always compliment it in his own blunt but reassuring way

"did you customise those? they're very good" u r asking for hug and kiss big boy

king of not giving you his jacket because what the heck? the denim one you customised is so cute, wear that one instead?

sometimes it's not even spoken compliments but they're still worth just as much

once you're done getting ready and he sees you, he'll study you for a second and look at the custom designs whilst his eyes soften and lips hint at a smile

it has your heart feeling so full and warm and has you feeling so appreciated because you know that tender gaze is strictly reserved for you and your art

also loves to watch you work but he won't even try to hide it

sometimes it means you can't concentrate thought to which you angrily pout at you before he looks away because you look too cute dfksh

anywaY the team know he has an s/o but they've never seen you before!!

when they meet you, you all immediately click and become friends

Tendou points out your shoes and asks you where you got them from and Ushi coming in like the big supportive bf he is like “she customised them, they are one of a kind”

team is amazed, like woah it takes talent to be able to draw and design in the first place but then to adapt it for clothing?? so cool??

they compliment you for the rest of your time there and Ushi just sits back, happy that you're being praised

you decide to customise a jacket for him, you picket out a good jacket, one he could use when he's working out outside and get to work

you incorporate the team colours as well as the eagle to represent you boyfriends presence on the court

It was a fairly mundane Friday night and you were both just basking in each others presence. After a long week with practices and countless lessons you both took the time to truly relax. It was whilst you were close to falling asleep on the couch that you remembered the jacket folded neatly in your cupboard. You jolt upright, alerting the olive-eyed boy sitting close to you. 

"Is everything okay?" he asked, a hint of concern laced into his monotonous tone. You shook your head but led him upstairs anyway.

You sat your confused boyfriend on the bed before moving towards the cupboard to root around for the jacket. When your hands meet the cool fabric you tell him to shut his eyes. Moving towards him you pull his hands out before setting the jackets onto them.

"Okay and open!" you exclaim, eyes scanning his face for any changes. You see it immediately, the corners of his eyes softening, the slight upturn to his lips and the faint rosiness appearing on his cheeks.

"I love it y/n" he said, pulling the jacket on before moving to the mirror in the corner of your room. You come up behind him, peeking your head around his frame to see the both of you in the mirror. 

He catches your eye in the mirror and smiles at you, a soft genuine smile that promises comfort and makes you smile widely back at him. 

He brings you to stand in front of him and presses a soft kiss onto your forehead. 

"Thank you for taking the time to do this for me." He presses another kiss onto your lips before holding you in his arms, basking in the scent of his talented s/o.

Ah, the first time I posted my art online I was... between fourteen and fifteen and it was on a really small community made of people who were just learning to draw, like I was, so it wasn’t nerve-wrecking for me since I sort of eased into the whole “letting the world see my crappy art” thing, which means I can’t help with that specifically orz

What I can tell you tho is this: 90% of what I post I look at it and I’m like “w h y am I posting this” and “I’m the only one who’ll enjoy this” and “...man this is so fucking embarrassing” and so on. It’s nervewrecking and, uh, it’s that sort of feeling that doesn’t really ever go away completely - I have some comics that randomly come back around in my activities and I just sit there feeling incredibly ashamed I posted them to begin with and also wondering why people like it at all. 

So here’s how it is, some things, mostly the self-indulget ones, are gonna feel weird to share because you feel like no one aside from you is gonna enjoy them, and because they keep a part of yourself in them you might be scared people won’t like, and that’s normal, and it’s okay. Through personal experience, I can tell you that in most cases you’ll manage to find someone who’ll love what you drew and will think “OH BOI exactly what I’ve been waiting to see god bless!!”, but believing this regarding your own art might be hard until you start posting and see it happen, and that’s okay too. If it doesn’t happen, and people actually don’t like your ideas, that’s okay too - mostly, you make art for yourself, because you love it and it makes you happy, and as long as it made you happy using your time to make it won’t have been a waste. And if the lack of response is too much to bare, you can always just stop posting! No one is saying that once you start you gotta keep at it! It’s your art, you do with it what you want!

But you won’t know what people’s reactions to your art will be until you start posting it - so take a deep breath, feel nervous as hell, post it anyway. Wait a week. If after that you’ll still feel like posting it was a mistake, take it down. It’s not a definitive decision, you’re free to go back on it whenever - I’m sure it won’t be as bad as you’re thinking right now, though!

what are your thoughts about bakugou and midoriya's relationship? platonic, i mean

I live and die for it, every part of the manga in which that relationship is shown progressing is between my favorite parts of the manga and I’ve reread them a hundred times and cried over them way more than necessary - the battle trial one? yes, the end of terms exam? absolutely yes holy shit, the post-license exam fight? god yes fuck me that’s my absolute fav, the rescue arc? shit yes between all the reasons why that arc’s my fave the change in the deku/baku relationship is definitely a worthy of note one

It’s an interesting relationship, a painful one that’s making both of them grow so so so much, a rivalry they both need to better each other and keep each other straight on the path to become two great, all-around heroes - I’m not sure they’ll ever end up having the type of relationship Izuku has with Todoroki or Bakugou with Kirishima, I don’t think it’s possible for them to be friends like that, they’re just too different to properly fit like that and to avoid stepping on each other’s toes every single day of their lives they’d have to change their core personalities too much, but they did end up being able to coexist (Bakugou’s even giving Deku tips!!!) and I do think they’ll be able to cooperate and support each other in the end. If one day they’ll be able to make fun of each other in a friendly manner and egg each other on and be honest with each other without it escalating into a full blown fight I’d truly be happy, that’s probably my main dream for this whole manga. For them to have a healthy rivalry, one in which they can maybe even laugh together. I think it might happen, I’m waiting for it to happen

What a question lmao no, no they never interact with Teru, it’s a crack ship haha I don’t really have a reason to ship it tbh, I just think Teru’s personality would fit nicely with Bo and Kuroo - Teru’s one of my fave characters in Haikyuu and I like shipping my faves around, but he’s interacted with only his teammates and Karasuno so everything else is just crack... I like a whole bunch of Teru ships tbh, bokuroteru is the one I’ve drawn the most for a bit by accident and a bit because they’re the ones with the most entertaining possible dynamics, to me? They’re a bunch of excited silly kids, that’s fun!

I don’t think I’ll ever have Kirishima’s backstory at this point. I’m giving up. I’ll just make up my own version of it. Kirishima’s had a beautiful past with a lot of happiness a great family with loving parents and both older and younger siblings that love him more than they love air, he’s got three pet turtles and a dog and the only reason why he had his hair dyed black was because he went through a really intense goth phase. That’s it, that’s my version, Hori can keep the sadness for himself

You’re most welcome! As I said once already I don’t really care for Mineta, so including him in stuff when it makes logical sense to isn’t much of a problem for me hah maybe, if I’m lucky, one day he’ll grow as a character and out of the walking trope he is, and that might just mean I’ll start drawing him more by himslef too haha
