Oh wow!! Thank you for +500 followers!! I wasn't actually expecting to hit this number so soon! As a thank you, here's the real MVP, the true reason you wonderful people follow me, Big the Capybara!

I'm only joking, I guess my brain is trying to make jokes to try to process things, and this number is huge! +500 different people like my stuff enough to want to keep tabs on what I post! That's mind boggling!

As an apology for the joke, especially at a monumental occasion such as this, I'll show you a teaser of what the project is that you're gonna start seeing in about... 3 days.

Yep, I've been working on a Sonic Unleashed reimagine thingy! I'm most likely gonna call it Sonic Unleashed: World Reimagined, because it's like a mix of the 2 different titles for the game and it is a world reimagine thing!

It's a collection of doodles that I've drawn (you'd be surprised that even though I've put a lot of effort into this, it's not even at the first Gaia Temple yet ;-;') that will have notes written down about what happens. Hopefully I can someday make an actual story out of this rather than just doodles and summaries.

IAN FLYNN: Uh... I think Amy would struggle with the air shoes at first, because how do you turn them on and off? KYLE: You don't! IAN: Do you flex your feet a certain way? Do you walk a certain way? She keeps falling over and blasting off into walls — this is stupid! Help! KYLE: She keeps moon walking. [laughs] IAN: [chuckles] And otherwise, y'know, she's going to be very respectful of Shadow's body autonomy, and just not touch anything. She's going to sit here and wait for things to calm down and go back to normal. And... she would go ask for help, but she can't figure out how these stupid shoes work! KYLE: [giggles] IAN: Until she finds a Chaos Emerald, and then she does Chaos Control first try and freezes time, so she can like, just hobble and crawl wherever she needs to go, but she isn't wasting her entire day. KYLE: [chuckling] Who's the first one to take off their, uh, Inhibitor Rings? IAN: [laughs] That would be Shadow-as-Amy, because he can't lift the hammer, and he doesn't understand why. KYLE: [laughing] Good. IAN: He isn't even really sure how it got there, but, y'know, it's here, so he might as well use it. But he can't! Move! It! She flings it around like a baton! How is this possible?! He doesn't understand! KYLE: [chuckles] He is not worthy! IAN: Then he drops the inhibitor bracelets, and he still can't move the hammer— KYLE: Nope! IAN: —but just by attempting it, he shifts the entire continental plate! KYLE: [laughing for nearly 8 seconds] I'm here for it! IAN: He looks out his window, and all of a sudden, he's on a beachfront property. When did that happen?! And now Shadow's crawling on the floor, asking for help with his shoes! What is goin' on with today?! KYLE: [cackling laughter] Everything is- everything is screwed up! Everything is messed up. [chuckling] Oh, boy... this would be adorable. [sigh] I'm glad the Piko Piko Hammer is Mjöllnir. IAN: [chuckles] KYLE: Amy deserves it. She truly is worthy.

Songs are my bread and butter when I have character brainrot bc like with web weavings I feel like there are so many emotions and thoughts you can communicate about something so simply through one… (Which for anyone interested here’s my web weaving tag, got 2 about Chil). Ok everyone saw this coming but this ask ran away from me and I ramble about some song lyrics I associate with Chil & different facets of his life below the cut. Some people find my, ehem, heated rambles about Chil entertaining, this is your cue to get out the popcorn.

When thinking about songs for Chil I have 3 angles I take: About Chilchuck, about him and his wife, or about him & Marcille. Marchil is so engraved into me with their arcs together, that they’re like the concept of closure and letting go and letting yourself live again to me, sorry for all the non-enjoyers… I think currently my top song for him is Jackrabbit by San Fermin, because it combines all three it makes me go wild. It’s about trepidation… Throwing yourself into it even despite the fear (working with traps, survival in poverty where you have to rush & hustle), or just staying there paralyzed(not reaching out to his wife). Flight or freeze!! Saying goodbyes and saying hellos!! Not dying alone!! The life cycle of a wild rabbit living and dying, the baton pass race of life from generation to generation!! Chil and his daughters even!!! Going through life at a frenzied pace!! It is so Chilchuck and so marchil, and the music does give that hurried and scared energy to me too, and sigh the Marcille side to it with fear of death too…

Extra fun context but the other day on the discord server we were talking about what animal each character’s fursona would be as we do and I thought of a rabbit for Chilchuck: Quick footed, ‘cowardly’, small and frail and seen as weak 🙃, athletic and slender, pulls stunts, stressed out, has very fine hearing and has good instincts, etc. And ofc that fits really well with Marcille since she’s kinda associated with dungeon rabbits hehe~ But I think while Marcille’s 100% the cute round rabbit Chil’s more like a brown hare, more wild and like, more like a jackalope if we’re still doing monsters... I do lowkey find it more fun than his associated monster being mimics because he’s crabby, because they’re clever (with where they place themselves) and because of how he has a soft shell but soft insides, lol.

something that makes me so ill is thinking abt the parallels between gemerl and neo metal sonic. both of them went against eggman in a way that still caused destruction, but then when gemerl is defeated, hes reprogrammed, he gets a family, and a home. when neo is defeated, sure, theyre taken by shadow and omega, but nothing really comes of that. at the end of the day they let them go back.

Hi, majorly agree with your post re: finding beginning/younger artists on artfight so as to encourage them! Question- do you have any quick and easy methods for FINDING said beginners? Thanks either way and have a good day 👋

artfight's tag system is hardly anything to write home about, but checking the front page every so often or tag searching for specific fandoms (like undertale, sonic the hedgehog, general stuff like angel and demon ocs, sparkledogs, the works) that tend to have younger fans can lend itself here.

if the site is, uh, working, and not totally overloaded, you can also sift around mutuals of people that like these things, or attacks theyve received.

thirdly, even finding bigger artists and looking at the attacks people make for them can be good, since those people might not get recognition back from said large artist (no shade! if i was getting 40 attacks a season, i'd be swamped too!) or might be attacking simply because they don't get art from other people.

i've been on AF for three years and have 60 something followers myself so it might be easier said than done! best of luck and thank you for asking!

Okay, thanks to a reply on my Sonic Twitter Takeover 2023 Masterpost (which you can find here) I noticed that one of the TikTok responses was deleted, specifically the one about what the Chaos Emeralds taste like.

That was pretty weird, so I'm combed over the Twitter and TikTok posts to see if anything else was deleted. Since I painstakingly transcribed every response as they were posted (right here), I can safely say that's the only one that's missing (unless I missed any when they went up).

I plan on fixing some mistakes in the transcription (I already added some words I missed as well adding a notes section) so I'll continue to keep an eye out for any more funny business. I have no idea why that particular post was deleted honestly. Did they think it was imitable?

Except... that can't be the explanation considering they kept the response about them eating paint.

Question for other people with next gen aus, do you get people asking you how your same sex couples have biological children or does it only happen to me? Because I feel like any time I post about my Ninjago next gen kids I get people asking me how my bruise kids and oppo kid can exist because they have same sex parents and it's kind of annoying dealing with it all the time
