Getting out the car, you raced to catch up with him, finding your mouth dry as you silently approached him. “Mars?” you spoke his name, knowing better than to run up behind him and wrap your arms around him. You opened your mouth to say something but ended up closing it again. What could you say to him? You had focused so much on seeing him again that you had little plan on how to persuade him to come back with you. Maybe you should have bought Ruby, and then if you two could have thrown him in the back of the car and drove away before he could escape. The humorous idea shot some life back into you as you smiled a little. Then a little more as you realized you were back with him for a moment. “Mars.” You whispered his name, and saw a visible shiver run down his spin as he hunched over himself slightly and dropped his gaze. “Why did yah come back?” He asked, his voice broken and horse. Very horse. Frowning, your eyes darted to his neck. It wasn’t easy to see considering the top he wore, the curls from his hair and the dark shadow that was cast of that area. But as you focused, you saw a bruise. Not even a small one. It wrapped around the front of his neck, the purple and black marking his skin. Stepping forward, you closed the distance between you too. You didn’t notice Mars freeze up, staring at you with wide eyes as he seemed to stop breathing. Raising a finger, you gently touched the bruised flesh. “Does it hurt?” You ask, looking up at him. It was only then that you realized how close you had gotten. His face hovered only 4 or 5 inches from your own. So close. “Not now.” He breathed, his eyes falling to your lips. trailing your fingers around to the back of his neck, you allowed your hand to slid into his curls, earning another shiver. You smiled at the reaction. “Ive missed you.” You tell him, smiling despite the fear. His fingers hover over your side, about to touch you when something in him seemed to snap. “You shouldn’t have come back. Go.” He commanded before twisting out of your touch and walking away quickly. You stumbled forward, confused beyond belief before running to catch up with him. “Mars, Please.” You call after him, following him but struggling to keep up with his pace. “Come home with me?” The words slowed Mars down until he stopped. You walked up behind him, slipping your arms around his torso as you pressed your forehead against his back. “I want to share my life with you. We’re soulmates. Right?” You shake your head as you feel your heart hammer. You started to doubt yourself. He kept refusing you. You tried to shake off the idea that your soul mate might just not want you because it seemed impossible, yet here you were, doubting if he was yours. He hadn’t given you a real reason not to come with you. Ruby had been practically bursting to get away from this life, and you found out later that Jupiter was an abusive piece of shit. So you would have thought he would have wanted away from this life. So perhaps he didn’t really want to come with you. But Mars had wanted to kept you hidden so you could stay. Confusion raked through your body as you tried to figure out what to do next. But you couldn’t until you asked a very important question. “Mars?” You closed your eyes as they filled with tears. “Do you want to come with me?” You put slight emphasis on the word ‘you’, hoping he hadn’t picked up on your shaking voice. Mars paused for a moment, and you felt your world stand still for a moment as you waited for his answer. “Yeah.” Mars breathed, barely audible. Your arms drop from around him as you step in front so you could look up at him. He looked so conflicted, unable to look you in the eyes as he frowned in through. “Why cant you?” You asked, placing a hand on his chest in hope that it might sooth him. “My brothers. I cant leave ‘em.” He whispered to you, glancing to an opening in the hills. “Bring them. Theres enough room and I know Ruby missed them.” You encourage him, nodding as he looks back to you. His mind worked quickly as he drew together a plan that you didn’t know. “Go back to the car. Don’t get out. Keep the door locked. And if I aint back just after sundown, you leave.” His spoke with such control and authority, you felt a small tremble of lust shoot through you as you nodded. He was about to walk away, but you grabbed his hand. As he looked back to you in confusion, you darted forward. Going up on your tip toes, you kissed him.  The day had taken ages, and you felt constantly on edge as you waited for darkness. You had to sit in the darkness, the car turned off and no lights on inside either. The car and you had to blend into the night. The silence was almost driving you insane. You couldn’t turn on the radio, so you were left in the dark and silence. You were drumming your fingers on the wheel, not keeping to any tune or song as your leg bounced with anxiety. The lack of communication was the worse. If only you knew they were on their way, or that they were safe at least. Glancing ahead, you felt your heart stop and your mouth go dry. You sat up straight, seeing three figures running to the car. You held your breath, squinting your eyes in the darkness. When you saw the bouncing of Mars’ curls, you turned on the engine, still keeping the lights off for now. They were running from something, or someone, and you were pretty sure they would need a quick getaway. Unlocking the door, they were flung open as the boys jumped into the car. “Go.” Mars demanded as he slammed the passenger door behind him with the other two got in the back. You nodded, turning on the headlights and you screamed. In front of the car was a man. Jupiter. He was angry, screaming insults as he raised an axe, about to bring it down on the hood of the car. You shoved the car in reverse and floor it backwards, causing Jupiter to swing forward and hit nothing. The momentum from the swing caused him to stumble forward. You slammed on the breaks, put the car in first gear and put your foot to the floor. Yanking the steering wheel to the side, you narrowly missed the deranged man as you drove away. “You okay?” You asked, glancing to Mars then back to the road. “Yeah, just keep drivin’” Mars leaned back in his seat, panting. It probably didn’t help that you had given them all a heart attack when you first saw Jupiter and screamed. Glancing in the rear view mirror, you saw the two brothers. While you had never met them, you had seen the tall one with the bald head before and knew him as Pluto. As for Mercury, you had heard him on radios, but never seen him before. He was smaller than his brothers, perhaps even shorter than Ruby. He was hunched over himself, both his legs pulled up to his chest and his feet perched on the seat. “You two okay?” You call back, turning your head a little to see them in your peripheral vision. Two nods calmed your worry as you turned back to the road. The drive was tense, and really awkward. You understood why. Neither Mercury or Pluto knew who you were. Perhaps they knew you had taken Ruby away, but you didn’t know if they considered that a good thing or not. You decided not to push them, allowing them some time with their thoughts for now. Mars kept quiet the whole away, to the point you thought he might have fallen asleep. You reached across and placed your hand on his thigh, making him jump slightly until he saw no threat and relaxed again. Nothing was said until you pulled up outside the house. Instantly, you felt guilty. Ruby must have been worried out her mind. You had barely climbed out the car when the door flung open and the young woman came hurtling out the house. “[y/n]!” She tried out, her arms flying around your neck as her body collided with your own so hard you stumbled back a little. “Im sorry for scaring you.” You held her tight, feeling how she was shaking. “Ruby?” Mercury’s voice called out her name she pulled back. The others had gotten silently out the car. “Merc…” She trailed off, blinking as if suspecting it was a trick of the light. Until her face broke in to a massive smile as she called out his name, running to him. With the same enthusiastic hug, she threw herself at her brother, who spun her around. You smiled as she embraced all her brothers the same way and earned different responses. Pluto patted her head with a smile while Mars ended up standing rather awkwardly. You laughed, whole heartedly for the first time in a while. There was so much to say, to explain, to question. But now wasn’t the time. Inviting them into the warm glow of the house felt like they were being invited into a dream. Mercury and Pluto were eager to follow their sister, while Mars paused outside. “Mars? You coming in?” You call out to him, holding the door open. His eyes fell on you as he blinked slowly before stepping inside, leaving his past at the door as he started his future with you and his family.

A/N: *rises from my coffin* did somEONE SAY VAMPIRE SMUT?? But for real, here’s 2.2k words of Arthur being a vampire and you getting plowed in some rich white lady’s house. The dream, right? 

“You’ll remember to dispose of the bodies this time, Arthur?”

Arthur rolled his eyes and fastened his coat tight. He had opted for all black this evening, as was his wont, turning back towards their Grand Elder, Dutch Van der Linde. At the moment, Dutch was drinking was Arthur assumed was blood from an all gold chalice, as was his wont. Flashy bastard.

“If you’re talking about that little mix-up in Valentine, it was only-”

Dutch held up a hand and set his drink down, standing up to put an arm around Arthur’s shoulder.

“My boy,” he chuckled, “you know I didn’t mean anything by it. That man was a fool and most certainly deserved to die. We just don’t want to attract any unnecessary attention to ourselves, not when we just settled in this…” he looked around at the swamp, “...charming bayou.”

“Yeah well I can’t wait until we depart this charmer,” Arthur grumbled and moved to his horse.

“Would you rather be back in the 1670s?” Dutch put his hands on his hips, “pray, do you remember what it was like to live without guns?”

“That was rough,” Arthur agreed, unhitching his horse and turning, “you want anything while I’m out?”

“No I have everything I need here,” Dutch said, becoming distracted by a young vampire they had turned several weeks ago. She passed him, grabbing his arm and leading him off. 

Arthur sped off towards Saint Denis, hungrier than he had been in days. The last man he’d fed from wasn’t disposed of properly and made them abandon their hideout near Valentine, one they’d stayed at for months. Dutch seemed to like it here near Saint Denis, much to Arthur’s dismay. He had never been one for humidity.

Tonight he had been invited to some fancy party at some fancy rich white lady’s house, he couldn’t be bothered to care. Charles had told him the house was full of bonds and possibly gold bars, so here he was decked out in his finest formal wear, hitching his horse a safe distance away from the house.

He turned quickly to the alley and saw flashes of yellow dart into him.

“Charles,” he greeted, and the yellow dots disappeared, a man emerged from the shadows.

Charles wiped a stream of blood from his mouth and his fangs retracted.

“You ready?” he asked.

“Anything left on that guy?” Arthur nodded.

“Sorry,” Charles shrugged, “he was my first kill in three days.”

Arthur growled.

“Let’s get this thing over with,” he said, striding to the house steps.

Th house was large, even by Saint Denis standards, and was packed full of the city’s finest socialites. They climbed up the steps and a butler greeted them at the door.

“May I take your coats, sirs?”

Arthur and Charles passed them over and stood for a moment. This was uncomfortable. The butler looked at them strangely.

“Are you going to go in, sirs?”

“Can we?”

“Of course, please do go in.”

They both sighed and crossed the threshold, separating once they got to the back porch. The garden was filled with people and a light quartet song swayed on the wind around them. Waiters mingled around offering trays of food, drink. People guffawed and whispered behind fans. Never really his cup of tea, these parties.

He pursed his lips at you and wandered off. Thank god. You grabbed the nearest drink from a tray and downed it in one go. You did a double take and looked closer at the man across the garden, fully decked out in black and thoroughly looking like he didn’t belong there. He was looking around at everything but none of the guests. Finally, he slunk back behind the garden wall and disappeared.

This night got interesting.

As quietly as you could you followed him, keeping close to the wall. Near the door he stopped, a guard was posted there. Surely he was foiled now!

He approached the guard and looked around before speaking.

“Excuse me sir, I’m looking for the men’s room,” he said.

The guard turned and pointed back to where he came and the man grabbed the guard and tore his fucking throat out. The two men sank to the ground as the taller one continued biting his neck and you gasped, causing him to look up, mouth stained with blood and fire red eyes burning into you.

In a flurry he was in your face, one hand around your throat and the other covering your mouth.

“I’m gonna take my hand off your mouth,” he said quietly, “and you’re not going to make a sound, or you’ll end up my dessert. Alright?”

You nodded and he released the hand from your mouth, letting his fingers trail along your lips.

“Do you mean to kill me sir?”

“No,” he said as if that were a heinous crime, “no but I can’t imagine you letting me go scott free, not after what you just saw.”

“Oh thank you, sir!” you said politely and drug the man through the door, slamming it and breathing a sigh of relief. “We’ll wait for him to leave, the room with the bars is just across the hall.”

You turned and the man was still looking at you hungrily.

I really suck at writing straight smut so I just kind of lead up to it, sorry! x

You hated the thought of Jon leaving and going to The Wall. Not just because he was one of your only friends but because you had the biggest crush on him too. Jon had finally admitted his feelings to you - he said he needed you to know before he left and hadn’t expected you to feel the same. You weren’t from a big high born family, you were from a moderately small house and Jon being a bastard it was possible the Starks would have let you marry him too, but now there was no chance of that happening.

Of course you were happy for Jon, you knew he’d go to the wall and do really well for himself and get somewhere in life. The wall doesn’t care where you’re from or whether you’re a bastard or not, so you were sure Jon would prove himself and do amazing things. But that didn’t mean you wouldn’t miss him.

“Can I come and watch you go?” You ask as you lay on his bed beside him. You had been walking through the Godswoods together when it started snowing heavily and you had both run back inside, you were now huddled on his furs with the fire roaring trying to get warm again.

“Of course you can.” Jon replies, giving your shoulder a light squeeze where his hand sat.

You sigh and let your lower lip fall from between your teeth, “I want to.” You say quietly.

Jon furrows his brows as he listens to your quiet voice, “You want to what?” He asks.

You groan and drop your head to the furs, you’d hoped he would have understood, but really you should know Jon better than that. “I want to have sex…With you!” You mumble out, the furs muffling your voice but Jon still heard you.

“Stop over thinking it. No one has to know. It can be our little secret, something to keep us close together even when you’re so far.” You smile lightly and move to crawl on top of him, leaning down to catch his lips with yours before he has a chance to reply.

You run your hands down his tunic and pull it undone, pulling his shirt open underneath to run your hands over his bare chest, “Don’t think about it.” You whisper again against his lips before kissing him again.

Jon lets out a groan and wraps an arm around your waist before rolling you both over and pushing you down into the furs, starting to lift your skirt slowly, “You’re a bad influence.” He mumbles, but smirks all the same when he leans down to press rough kisses along your neck, lifting soft moans from your throat as you felt his hand caress your inner thigh.

“Whenever I can.” Jon nods, “I can’t imagine there will be much occasion to write from beyond the wall, but I will try.”

You smile, Jon trying was enough for you. You lean down and kiss him again before stealing one of his furs and wrapping it around yourself as you left the bed, ready to dress for the day and go and say goodbye to your best friend.

The courtyard was colder than usual, the snows from the night before had piled up high on the grounds making it hard to walk through it in your dress.

“You’re here early.” Robb comments with a smirk, his eyes darting quickly to his brother then back to you, “I hope even though Jon’s going you’re not going to hide away.”

You shake your head, “You couldn’t get rid of me that easily.” You laugh hurrying after Jon who was readying his horse.

You got along with all the Stark children, Robb and Jon the most as you were of similar ages. But you liked Sansa a lot too, you spent a lot of time with her in your needle work classes together, you loved all the tales of knights and princes just as much as she did, but you’d never admit that to the boys.

Watching Jon ride away on his horse was one of the hardest things you had to do in your life and you didn’t even try to hide the tears that fell from your eyes. You didn’t mind being caught crying over this one thing. Robb wrapped his arm around your shoulder and stood with you until Jon’s horse was gone and out of sight then he guided you inside and into the dining hall from some food all the while telling you not to cry and that Jon would visit soon. But you doubted that. It wasn’t often men from the nights watch were allowed visits home.

When you first heard that Jon was coming back you thought it was crazy. Jon Snow, marching against the Boltons with an army of wildlings? Jon had gone to the wall to fight the wildlings, not make friends with them. But you heard about the fall of the Boltons not too long later and heard of the battle that took place outside Winterfell some days before and you knew the rumours had been true after all.

Your heart beat double speed at the thought of Jon being so close again. You had wrote to each other for a while but then he’d gone beyond the wall and you hadn’t heard from him since, you had assumed him dead. You sat up night and day trying to decide whether you should visit Winterfell once again and see him or not.

You had kept visiting Winterfell for a while like you had promised Robb, but then when he left, and the two younger boys not long later, you stopped going. The news of Robb’s death had ripped a whole in your chest that was still to be fixed. He had been like a brother to you and had always protected you. He had always been so strong and brave and knowing that a man like that could be killed so easily made you fear the world even more.

After another few days of hearing tales of the battle you decided you would go to visit Jon. You had a lot to talk to him about and you’d also like to see Sansa again. So you got your son ready in his thick fur coat and picked him up into your arms. You’d take a horse but it had started snowing again and you didn’t want to get stuck up there, so instead you walked.

Winterfell loomed closer and closer the further you walked and you felt your heart almost beating out of your chest. When you got to the gate you told the guard you was an old friend and would like to come in. When he wouldn’t let you you instead told him your name and asked for Sansa.

Not five minutes later the red head was stood at the gate with wide eyes. “(Y/N)! I hadn’t believed them when they said it was you!” She rushed forward and pulled you into a tight hug.

She had grown tall, much taller than you, and extremely beautiful. Her hair was still the same amazing shade of red and her eyes the bluest you had seen, she definitely had the Tully look and wore it well.

“Please, come inside.” Sansa grabs your hand and leads the way into the courtyard. Your breath caught in your throat as the memories washed over you. Your memories with the Starks, most of which were either dead or lost, it was overwhelming.

“Who’s this?” Sansa smiles, nodding down to the little boy clutching at your hand by your other side.

“Oh, this is my son.” You smile and lean down to pick him up and hold him on your hip, “This is Raymun, and this is Sansa. She’s an old friend of mine.”

Raymun grins and holds his hand out which Sansa gladly takes, “It’s nice to meet you, My Lady.” he kisses her hand making the both of you laugh.

“Oh a proper little Lord!” Sansa grins and strokes a hand through his dark hair, “He’s lovely.”

“Thank you.” You smile, letting him down to walk beside you again, “Is Jon here?” You ask hopeful.

Sansa gives you a knowing smile and nods her head, “He’s in the library, writing a letter to his friend Sam. He will be glad to see you.”

You thank her and tell her you will come and find her once you’ve spoken to him and then you head off to the library. You still knew your way around this castle like the back of your hand and you were sure you would never forget these corridors, no matter how much the memories haunted you.

“Mother.” Raymun runs to catch up with you, “Where are we?”

“This castle belongs to my friends family,” You tell him, “They’ve just gotten back after being away for a very long time, and I’d like to introduce you to someone special.”

“Am I going to meet my father?” He asks excitedly.

You look down at him and nod your head, but tell him to stay quiet until you introduce him. Raymun always asked about his father and you always told him the truth. You didn’t want to make up a lie about who it was, so you told him everything you could remember about Jon, and even made up tales of things he would be doing on the wall.

You knocked on the door of the library and were greeted by a rough tired voice. You took a deep breath before slowly opening the heavy door and stepping inside, pulling Raymun in behind you. Jon is sat at the table with his head resting on one of his hands as he scribbled on a piece of parchment. His hair was still the same dark curls but his face had hardened and become scarred from his battles. He still looked just as handsome as the day he left to you, only slightly older.

“What is it?” Jon asks, only then did you realise you hadn’t spoken and had instead just been staring at him.

Jon looks up from his parchment and drops his quill the moment his eyes catch yours, “(Y/N)?” he questions as he slowly stands up, “I feared you would be…”

“I thought you were.” You shrugged lightly and gave him a soft smile, “It’s good to see you again.”

Jon nods his head in agreement and goes to speak when he finally notices the small boy stood beside you, “And who’s this?” he asks.

You chew your lower lip and pull Raymun more into the light from the fire, “This is Raymun, my son.” You answer, and then correct yourself, “Our son.”

Jon’s eyes shoot up to yours quickly, shock showing in his dark orbs, “Our son?” he asks.

You nod your head slowly, “Yes. He’s ours. He knows all about you, he’s been looking forward to meeting you.”

Jon furrows his brows together, “Why didn’t you tell me?” He asks, his voice matching his stern face, but the harshness falls away when he looks back down at the boy.

Jon walks forward and kneels down in front of him, now seeing them together you realised just how much they did look alike.

“Are you my father?” Raymun asks quietly.

You wait nervously but Jon slowly nods his head, “I am.” He replies, and then his face breaks out into a smile and he pulls the boy into a tight hug, “I am.” He repeats again.

Raymun clings onto him tightly and Jon stands with him in his arms looking over at you, glaring ever so slightly, “You should have told me.”

“I know.” You sigh and fiddle with your hands in front of you, “I just didn’t know how, and then you went beyond the wall and I didn’t know how to contact you. I’m sorry.” You mumble, “There hasn’t been anyone else.” You add, though you weren’t sure why that would help.

Jon sighs and finally lets Raymun down onto the floor, “How about we go get some food? Your aunt Sansa always has some cakes lying around.”

Raymun grins and nods his head quickly. You follow Jon out into the corridor, watching as Raymun runs along in front of you, already seeming to feel comfortable in the place which you were over the moon about.

“We have to get wed.” Jon says suddenly, surprising you so much you stop walking.

“What?” You ask, you’d only been back in his company less than ten minutes and he wants to marry, you decided the wall really had sent him crazy.

“We have a child together.” Jon states obviously, “I will not have him living a bastard like me. I know I still have a bastard name, but if we marry, he doesn’t have to be one.”

You sigh and nod your head, “That makes sense.” You say quietly, you had hoped that a little part of him still loved you.

Jon moves to stand in front of you and takes your hands in his, “It really is good to see you, (Y/N).” He smiles lightly, “I thought of you all the time. I wouldn’t want to marry anyone else.”

You chew your lower lip before letting yourself smile, “Neither would I.” You lean forward and kiss his lips lightly before tugging him to begin walking again.

It was good to hold his hand again, to be in his company. But what you was most happy about was how he accepted Raymun instantly and you knew Jon would shower him in love and affection, because he doesn’t want his son to go though what he did. And you would make sure Jon felt just as loved as he did.

Hello everyone, I am an international student who's been in the USA (Buffalo, NY) for the past 2 years working hard on my masters (i'm 25 now). I bought a POS Saturn last year for 2000 dollars and, well, for that i needed to get car insurance since it's mandatory in this country. Since i was from abroad and i had a learner's permit at the time, i had to get insurance with my international license. Progressive was my only choice so i paid around 700$ for 6 months. That's the rate I've been paying for the last year. Unfortunately, i just don't have the money anymore to pay 700 more dollars for the next 6 months. I tried different insurance companies but they are all around the same range. Apparently, i was stupid enough to not get a credit card as soon as i landed in this country. I was raised with the if you don't have money, don't spend it philosophy so i just used my debit card. This is the only reason that i can see for these absurd rates. Every single one of my friends ( all international students ) pay around 200-250/six months dollars for their pieces of crap cars. I just feel like i'm not being given a fair deal. My mother inlaw was telling me I could get something called my fleet affidavids license and I wouldn't have to cover insurance on the car i'm driving as long as I have the same last name that is on the insurance. I honestly can't be expected to pay insurance when i'm just now getting my license and had no transportation what so ever to get a job to make money for insurance. I was recently in a car accident where a Nissan truck ran into the back of another car that then ran into the back of me causing $2000 worth of damage to the rear of my infiniti.
