"to indulge in his addiction", which Watson says with the resigned face of someone who has had to deal with that many times before. then him finding the husband and Holmes in the same opium den and immediately following Holmes' instructions and setting off with him to travel to Kent. and that conversation in the hansom??? Mrs Sinclair's husband having also disappeared and Watson's "well, it seems to be a continuous thread in life's fabric" - and Holmes' teasing and inquisitve "Watson - what is this? I shall ignore your resignation to the world's frailties and continue" and Watson's soft "oh, please do" - like?? sirs?? excuse me? since when are you so married? AND THEN THEY SHARE A ROOM?? at Sinclair's house?? Watson just casually stripping to his nightshirt and Holmes sitting crosslegged smoking his pipe just thinking aloud whilst Watson is getting to bed? and poor Watson being tired and woken up after two hours by Holmes tickling his sole??? what the hell even?? "I'll see you downstairs in five minutes" ??? okay sir?? your husband didn't even manage to wake up yet give him a moment please

no but really - what even was this ep?? I knew that Edward Hardwicke's Watson is absolutely husband!Watson but like?? this much?? literally no one prepared me for this I need to take a breath

Sending more positive vibes for the lovely people in the fandom.

I know we're hurting from season 3's runtime, and it's okay.

I have to admit, I'm a little sad, too. But I still have hope and faith in the crew working on it.

We still get to see our bbys again.

We'll be getting a beautiful happily ever after. I'm so excited to see season 3, but also sad that it's the short final season.

But hey, I'm sure those 90 minutes will be great, I believe it'll be just as awesome as the last seasons.

Just remember that we'll be okay.

We're in good hands. We got a new director, it's already in production and filming starts very soon.

That means we'll get to see the pics from behind the scenes. Like David and Michael with their hair dyed.

The cast will do a wonderful job on the finale.
